Priced competitively for the 5-star quality. Great spot.
Loved the atmosphere! People were super polite and very friendly. Two draw backs was the size of the pool was really small and the walk to the beach was a bit far and still might need a Lyft to get there.
This is a beautiful and fine hotel. They do things right here.
Room was disappointing, noisy, shower was either cold or scolding hot. The lobby looks like an x-ray, all white no color. Breakfast menu only choice of four items. Parking was costly no free parking. Location was centrally located and desireable.
Awesome hotel, great location, lots of places to eat nearby. Rooms are very well appointed, inclduing rainfall shower heads. Clean and comfortable. Overall highly recommend.
Friendly staff, clean facilities and good ambience overall
In the Convention Center area of Long Beach, this is the best hotel. The Hyatt has a slightly better location, but the heavenly bed, restaurant and other features of the Westin are better and their location across from the performing arts theater is only a little bit further of a walk than the Hyatt. I've stayed at all the hotels here more than once for various conventions and the Westin is always my first choice.
The Westin Hotel in Long Beach is a beautiful hotel with an amazing view of the downtown area. The room wasn't huge but was nicely furnished and the bathroom was very luxurious considering the price. The stay does not include a breakfast of any kind but there is a moderately priced restaurant in the lobby. Best staff at the Westin is not very friendly unfortunately but aside from checking in I didn't have any contact with them. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the Westin in downtown Long Beach.
Overall, not worth the price for me. The place was clean and well maintained, and staff was courteous. The outside/location noise wasn't too bad. About average for a city. I'm dropping three stars from my review because A: all the amenities cost money -and- B: the lack of sleeping arrangements was disappointing. The fact that this place charges for Wi-Fi was very disappointing. Really? In this day and age? Standard bed pillows tend to come with some firm and some soft. My room only had pillows so fluffy you could bend them in half. Add all this together with the expensive price per room, and it's just not worth it.
Awesome place to stay very luxurious clean and peaceful very recomended
The hotel is nicely located near the Aquarium of the Pacific and centrally located to many activities (shopping, dining, etc) that you'd enjoy when visiting Long Beach. The bad thing is the expensive $25 parking fee (at least comes with in and out privileges), and also the fact that it charges for WiFi (no free WiFi for hotel guests!!!). Also not sure why the color of the jacuzzi is green, it's somewhat uninviting to me. The staff however is very friendly.
The lobby is beautiful. The ballrooms are great, the view across ocean is lovely, and the Performing Arts Center was beautiful all lit up for the holidays. We were forward assigned a room that was handicap accessible. It lacked counter space in the bathroom. That evening our room was filled with the acrid odor of smoke from a possible fire. They did switch our room. We ended up in a beautiful room with a lovely view. It was so much nicer. And I appreciated them making the change without a huge hassle. The only other snafu was being charged twice for room service. They required that I bring the receipt to the front desk to prove that I had indeed been charged twice. It left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth since it was very apparent that it was charged to both my husband's card and mine. Mistakes do happen though......... We were there for a wedding and the food was delicious.
I really enjoy this hotel. It's very high class and the pond in the front adds to the aesthetics of the place.
Parking was little complicated
Had trouble finding the lobby elevators
Great hotel in the heart on long beach! Close to EVERYTHING!
Plenty to do in the area. Hotel is clean, staff is nice.
Restaurant was good. Standard rooms are fine. Pool area was small but adequate. Elevator area on my floor needed some upkeep/vacuuming.
I was there for an event and i got the salmon which was delicious. The servers are super professional, they are hardwired to focus on every detail down to the placement of the salt and pepper. I constantly saw the going to each table looking over them 4-5 times moving things around, i saw a server slightly dressing pours at tables and i asked him why and he said so they can easily grab it with their right hand, i was very impressed event planners are in good hands.
Hotel is good. Breakfast is a big disappointment. They don t have buffet & for an ala carte menu even after paying 19 dollars. Waiter tells you u can get only this not that & so on. Don t even offer pastries ( even a small hotel offers that). Menu says choice of eggs. But you can t order omelette.
Please kindly revise your breakfast menu. Preferably buffet would be better.
Omg...our stay was so comfortable. The staff was great. The room was clean. I have a new favorite place to visit. Definitely recommend!
Well its amazing the hotel is nice but they charge for wifi and rollaway beds otherwise everything is beatiful the pool is nice and warm and the fitness center us great as well
Very nice place with great employees. Very happy with my visit.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Sound proofing could be a lot better. A lot of street noise even on 12th floor.
Nice clean rooms affordable pricing and fast service
Amazing service and put us in a room with a great view! Thank you!
The best in hotel gym I've ever had. I feel like I've been running in New Zealand on those nice treadmills
Location is clean. No free Wi-Fi outside of the lobby
Nice hotel but signs to help find conference rooms weren't clear enough
Horrible experience on this hotel, too many noise all night, drug smell, people hit the door and wall, the room acoustic is terrible don`t protect for the street noises, parking lot too expensive $30, pool is very small for the hotel size, due Covid19 people side by side on pool.
I don`t recommend this hotel for anyone and I never will back, first and last one time, I lost my money.
Great hotel, loved it. Lost one star due to the small parking spaces. Everything else was perfect. We stayed for a church conference.
Great atmosphere and very open space. Service is great and it is conveniently located at the heart of down town near many popular attractions.
The Services were great from entering in to leaving out. Michael at Guest Services has a gift for offering a service that caters to creating an environment that feels like Home away from Home. I give him a ten solely on his personality and mannerism. The establishment is beautiful and right in the heart of Long Beach with great places to eat and relaxation.
Will be back here!!!
Lumpy bed, room didn't match reservation, toilet cracked, shower is finicky
The Westin Long Beach is a lovingly, cared for mid-century, union hotel. The well maintained lobby and guest rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel is scheduled for renovation in 2019.
The staff couldn't be nicer. Our check-in, by Jimmy, was quick and easy. Osmin, the Bellman, brought our bags to the room, just as we arrived, on the fifteenth floor. He filled our ice bucket, and pointed out the features of the room. Our room has a city view. Magdalena, from housekeeping, brought us non allergenic pillows to replace the feather ones that were supplied.
The bathroom is large. At night, with the lights off in the room, the bathroom is quite dark. I suggest you pack a small night light.
The room contains a coffee maker,
small refrigerator, safe, ironing board with iron, hair dryer, and bathrobe. There are extra towels. I'm always surprised when high-end hotels are skimpy with the towels and bathroom supplies.
The room service menu is extensive. There are three possible vegan item: "Market Vegetable Sandwich," vegetables with brown rice, asparagus and tofu, a whole wheat primavera, and on the children's menu, hummus wrap and multicolored pita chips and vegetables. Have your server ask the kitchen not to add yogurt, cheese and eggs.
There are two restaurents and a bar on the lobby level, and on the forth floor, a pool and exercise room. Most meeting rooms are on the third floor. There are escalators and elevators to the second and third floors.
Everything is ADA compliant.
An electric car charging outlet (110 volt) is provided in the under ground garage. You must supply the car's charging cable. Parking is expensive. In and out privileges are provided.
Lovely hotel great pool. Lovely staff bars and shops not to far away. Beach 15min walk away.
We were attending a wedding being held there. It was gorgeous and all the staff seemed very courteous and helpful. We had a wonderful time.
Room was excellent. Hotel is being renovated. The temporary check-in desk and lobby bar were well thought out. Staff was over the top polite and helpful.!!
Nice hotel. Comfortable bed. Gym is a bit small but works.
Comfortable, clean, super cute, the restaurant is very good, good service, it leaves you a pleasant experience ... Excellent !!!!
Nice and clean. They supply an abundant amount of linens which is a nice change. The staff have all been very courteous and helpful.
Nice service and clean rooms. Going again next year!!
I alway go downtown to the westin its the most beautiful place around. They remodeled it and its even better anybody and everybody should get a chance to visit this place its wonderful
Decent space, clean room, and not too far from the shore.
Great location to stay right next to the convention center if you have an event there
$$$ Great area for fun and business!
Very nice hotel in a very trendy area of Long Beach, CA. Ocean Blvd is there place to be when visiting Long Beach. There is plenty of adventure all around. Great restaurants, trendy shopping, theater, recreation, parks, beaches, Marina's and Shoreline Village; all are nearby.
You love visiting Long Beach and you will love your stay at this Westin...

The price is a bit high but it is very close to the exhibition hall.
Decent size rooms with above average amenities. Parking is ample but you need to pay. Staff is well trained. Location is close to beach and convention Center.
They need to tell guests that they are doing a major remodel especially when the LB Grand Pre is going in. It is a absolute mess and very frustrating to not be told. They are charging $539.00 per night absolutely horrible of the Westin
One of the best hotels with a very helpful staff and a cozy environment. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. Recommended.
They dont treat their employees with respect. The Westin Long Beach mistreats their employees
Very nice room with a great location. Staff was great.
