Nice hotel, hit or miss rooms, friendly staff. Perfect if you plan on taking the PATH into NYC or around Jersey.

Room was not cleaned well. We found leftover food in the mini fridge. Overpriced for the size of room. Plenty of other options available for this price range.

Working on a conference with the people at the Westin in Jersey city has been a delight.

Upscale hotel in the midst of Jersey City. Short PATH ride to world trade or 33rd street in NYC. Great service.

The staff is great, beds, city views and especially the bathrooms all amazing. Pool, gym and hot tub is a great amenities. 2nd time coming here spending a 6 year anniversary here.

If you work in Manhattan, this hotel is definitely worth the commute! (5 min walk from PATH station). Here are some things you can expect, that I ve not easily found in other midtown Marriott properties.

- Large rooms
- Great upgrade options
- Fantastic view (with upgraded room. See pics)
- Probably the best yogurt parfait I ve ever had. (Yup...I took pics)
- Indoor pool with hot tub
- one of the larger workout rooms I ve seen
- premium work out equipment
- close to water front
- less noisy than midtown

I ve worked in midtown almost every week for the last 12 months and this hotel is in my top 3 for the budget.

Some things that would improve it

- free hot breakfast for Platinum + members
- location can be frustrating if you are taking multiple trips to Manhattan in a day

Booked a room through a wedding block. Get to the hotel and they tell me it won't be ready until during the reception because the Philadelphia Eagles "showed up." After 5 minutes of complaining they "found a room" and gave me 2 drink tickets. The Eagles didn't just show up and the hotel shouldn't have given away a blocked off room to them anyway. I was very frustrated with the process

The westin is a wonderful place ,but the foods where horrible

Stayed here on our visit to New York City. Beautiful hotel with amazing rooms and views. Close to the path train that goes into the city, only a block away.

I had a great time the hotel has amazing views and its walking distance to the mall cant get better than that

The only problem you will face here is you don t have a buffet breakfast.. you have limited options for breakfast. If you are an Indian, better ask for shyam he is a nice waiter who will suggest and help you

Incredibly courteous staff and great food. If you are doing room service get the Fire & Oak Mac and Cheese!!!

Great place to stay in a good location. Comfortable beds. Meeting room and staff were good. Only negative would be that they don't have an executive lounge here.

The first time for me to write a review for hotel. We had a wonderful time staying here. The hotel is marvelous with clean and comfortable room. The location is great to have access to NYC. The staff at front desk is so nice and breakfast is yummy. Thanks for Sham with great service!

I had a great vacation in Westin New Jersey Hotel. Clean, quiet and very good staffs. Rosemary, the receptionist was so polite and helpful. I ll come back definitely.

The room and front desk staff were great. The bathroom had hangers and bits of plastic on the floor from previous guest. Guest services asked me what did I want them to do about it.... Really..this is the time of Covid and that was the response

We were in Jersey City attending a family wedding. The overall hotel service was exceptional and the facility was clean..

Clean, spacious and fit our needs for 1 night in Jersey City. Only problem was that we had to park down the street b/c our vehicle wouldn't fit in the garage.

Nice hotel, however, rooms need to be refurbished hopefully in near future. Location is great for trips to Manhattan, just a view minutes walk to the train where you reach Manhatten within 12-15 minutes. The pool and the gym is nice.

Generally an ok hotel. But I found some coffee stains on their stirring sticks provided to new customers....Not sure whether they cleaned other stuff well or not..

This may not be the fanciest of hotels BUT, the staff is AMAZING! THE catering manager goes above & beyond even if it's not part of his job. I can not say enough nice things about them. I have stayed here about 4 times, and they are always just as nice as the time before and they remember you. The rooms are nice & clean as well. And it is a GREAT location, easy to get into Manhattan.

Great location near the rail station and mall. Clean, spacious room. Easy check in and check out. Only complaint is that the bathroom light is excessively bright and there is no alternative.

I have stayed here 5 times now and as always everything was great. Love the location and very helpful staff. Good rooms although I was in 619 and shame about the VERY noisy ice machine close by ( does anybody still use this ?).

Friendly workers. To quote my wife when we were checking our, "I can't say that the service was bad, because there was NO service. Although we stayed for 2 nights there was no visit be the house staff. The beds were not made and the old towels were untouched in the bathroom.

Rooms a good size, good facilities and a great location

Awesome room, the view of NYC was spectacular. Great breakfast bar, it had almost every morning munchy you could want. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and beds were extremely comfortable.

I don t usually post reviews but must say as a Starwood member usually frequent St Regis etc but stayed at Westin for second time and as usual it was Amazing! The rooms are amazing and for second time ate at the restaurant which was spot on! If in area you can t go wrong !

By far one of my favorite hotels in Jersey City. I always stay here and have a great experience.

Did not care for the guy at the front desk but the hotel was very clean. I went to the connected restaurant and the food was top notch.

Very clean and comfortable, big in size, friendly staff, and a beautiful view overlooking New York from the Jr suite. Very happy with my stay I will be definitely coming back!

Decent place, don t expect exceptional service

Pros -
- near by to the river, and has decent view of downtown NY
- large rooms, so you have good space to relax

Cons-
- shitty room service and pool
- never has high floors available, I have stayed thrice here and have Marriott ambassador status, still never went higher than 16

Nice hotel, top amenities, transportation to NYC super easy and flexible. I will go back there!!

everything was splendid. wish they'd have let a delivery guy upstairs though. let's be honest if I have to go all the way downstairs I also could have walked across the street. and parking is only reasonable for longer terms.

Great location. Path station nearby, so you can get to NYC quickly.

Rooms are spacious and much cheaper than in NYC itself. Behind the hotel is a large mall with many shops and restaurants. From the river side you have a perfect view of Manhattan and can take great pictures of the skyline.

Unfortunately I have to deduct: the check-out was unprofessional and the limousine service was even worse (organized by the hotel!). The limousine did NOT show up and after waiting 10 minutes we took a taxi. It wasn't an isolated incident. Happened two more times at this hotel!

Very nice hotel close to the PATH. So close to NYC without being priced like it. Also a nice walk to the local neighborhood with great shops and restaurants.highly recommend for guests visiting NYC or business travelers

I went there earlier to attend annual party from my employer. I liked the spacious party hall and friendly staff. The food was ordered from somewhere else so am unsure about their food service.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was AMAZING! Will definitely be back!
