Our family have bought six cars from West Coast with Vince as our salesperson each time. He listens to what you say, and then works hard to get you the car you need. No pressure, no tactics, he just helps. Kudos to all the other staff at West Coast as well. Your customer service is appreciated.

I am super happy with the friendly and prompt service I received at West Coast Nissan today. My car had a problem with the shifter and I couldn t get it into park. I was concerned about the safety as I have a preschooler on board. I just drove in, and the service manager Kelly Yip managed to fit me in, even though it was busy. Kelvin Miu, service advisor, took excellent care of me at the service counter., and I was able to pick up my daughter on time from daycare! Thank-you. To all the service centre staff.

When I dealt with West Coast Nissan 10 years ago on my Altima, they were great. Far better service than Morrey Nissan. Then I changed vehicles for several years (not a Nissan) and I recently purchased another Nissan and attempted to give Morrey Nissan another chance for service (because it was closer to home.) I was disappointed with Morrey's service yet again. I then took my Pathfinder to West Coast and experienced their great service again! I will always take my Nissans here for service. They are so friendly and so helpful. It is a pleasure dealing with Sam and the other service staff!

What started out as a very positive experience end...

What started out as a very positive experience ended up being quite awful. To give a little history regarding why I was at West Coast Nissan:

My wife and I had a baby 11 months ago, and so she has been at home on maternity leave, leaving our one vehicle with me to go to and from work. In 3 weeks her maternity leave ends and she needs to go back to work as well. We both have a very extensive commute from Maple Ridge to Burnaby and Vancouver, so a second vehicle is a necessity for us now.

We started our search at West Coast Mazda because we already have a Mazda CX-5 and love it! Why not another Mazda? We met a very helpful sales rep, Anthony, who showed us a few used cars that we decided didn't work for us for various reasons. In an attempt to be helpful, he sent us to his friend, Thomas at West Coast Nissan because there was a recent trade in of a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer. Mitsubishi wasn't really on our radar but we thought we would give it a try. I went to Nissan by myself while my wife stayed at home with our son. Thomas was helpful in setting me up for a test drive of the Lancer, which I thoroughly enjoyed and thought maybe would be the right commuter vehicle. It was listed for $7500 on their website, so I made an offer of $7000 all in. After a bit of negotiation, it was decided that my offer wasn't good enough... which is their decision.

It wasn't their decision to decline my offer that made me so upset but what happened following. I asked Thomas if I could speak with the manager and possibly persuade him to take my offer. Thomas agreed and brought me to his office. He walked me in and said to his boss, "here is the guy who is gunna give you some sob story about a wife and kid". He chuckled and walked away... My eyes opened wide in disbelief and I said to both the manager and Thomas (who was already walking away at this point), "no, this isn't a sob story... its the truth." Feeling the need to prove myself I showed the manager a photo of my son on my phone and in a state of awkwardness he politely asked how old he was.

It's this kind of distrust and condescending behaviour that make working with car dealerships (like this one) a very unpleasant experience. I went in there and shared my current needs based on my current life situation and the entire time the sales rep had a predisposition that I was lying to him. This was a very unfortunate experience and I hope I never have to go to this dealership again.

Just purchased a new Murano from Vincent Wilson, was an absolutely fantastic experience was not pushy, understood what we were looking for as well as the budget we were trying to work with unlike all the other dealerships we had visited. Will definitely be returning for future purchases.

Ok, I have purchased 2 new Nissan vehicles within ...

Ok, I have purchased 2 new Nissan vehicles within that last 2 years. I have shopped dealers from White Rock to West Vancouver and I can say hands down the best experience was at this West Coast Nissan. I won't get into details with the other experiences, but at at WestCoast it was no BS and very honest straight forward approach. I received the price I wanted to get to with the help of my sale rep Evan Joo and I have already referred other friends to Evan. Not only was Evan extremely helpful and actually seemed to care and listen to what was important to me but he went above and beyond on little things. Example, demo model was not exact model I was looking to purchase, during my test drive Evan went to their lot and drove the model I was interested into dealer parking lot. Upon my return, we went through the model I was interested in and I was able to assess first hand differences between model on test drive. I appreciate the WestCoast service and Evan's ability to listen to what I am looking for as a consumer. I will continue to refer friends and family!

He was really listening at what my needs were and his advice is making me think to come sooner that what I had in mind to buy a car. Very recommended dealership!

The Service department here is fantastic. Friendly, clearly highly skilled and knowledgable staff and the work I've had performed here has always been done quickly and properly. They always shuttle me to home/work and back, and they make my car feel brand new with a complimentary wash and vacuum no matter how small the service appointment was. Thanks guys, keep up the world class work ethic.

I bought a used car from Konner McLeod (salesman) last week and here is my experience:

I saw the vehicle online and drove to the dealership to see it. Konner greeted me and I told him I was there for a specific vehicle. He gave me the keys for a test drive - no pressure, no upselling, no non sense! I decided to buy the car and in just a few minutes the paperwork was done, with no hidden fee's or surprises and the negotiation was simple, painless - the way it should be. Konner arranged for a few minor adjustments on the vehicle, detailing, and I drove home in my "new" used car!

I had the BEST experience at West Coast Nissan. I walked in and everyone was very welcoming and friendly, but the top star was my sales consultant, Richie. I was hesitant about purchasing a new vehicle as I'd been looking for quite some time for my perfect SUV. He walked me through every step of the process making sure I was comfortable and understood every aspect and that I stayed within my budget. He was very honest and straight forward which I respect. I would 100% recommend him to anyone who's looking into a new vehicle! Such a pleasant experience overall and I am very happy with my new purchase!

Brought them a 1999 pathfinder with some problems. They wrote off the vehicle with next to no effort and deemed it not worthy of working on. Another mechanic has now got it running perfect for next to nothing. Can't speak about new vehicles at this service department but don't bring them old ones.

Took my vehicle in for a simple roof rack install on my brand new vehicle that I purchased from West Coast Nissan. The dealership damaged my vehicle in the process of installing the roof racks. The body shop they sent it to Extreme Auto Body / fix it auto did sub-par work. in the end the dealership was forced to buy out my old vehicle with the damage, and i repurchased a new one. West Coast Nissan is only interested in getting cars out the door. They don't know how to service the customer.

My wife and I bought a Certified Pre-Owned Nissan Versa Note yesterday through Thomas Byrne and the experience was incredible! Any concerns we had about the vehicle, Thomas addressed right away and Amani Diab showed the same level of amazing service with the financials. They had everything from snacks for our kid, great insurance people, connecting us to the service department, sourcing and adding in needed accessories and overall just an awesome team environment that we've never experienced at a car dealership. Buying a car is as much about the machine as it is...

Buying a car is as much about the machine as it is about people. You can get the same car for pretty much a similar price from practically any place. What makes the difference is how well the dealer understands you and stands behind what they sell you. That's where West Coast Nissan and Thomas Byrne were outstanding!
We recently got our Pathfinder from West Coast Nissan. Our salesperson was Thomas Byrne. Thomas was extremely friendly and personable. He went out of his way make us comfortable and did a great job of addressing our needs.
Not only that, even after the sale, there were a couple of things that needed attention and Thomas ensured that he personally booked an appointment for us with the service centre and ensured that the things got done with no hassle for us at all.
To me it felt like Thomas was on our side and he wasn't just selling us a car. It was a very reassuring feeling.
It was a fantastic experience and I would not hesitate in recommending West Coast Nissan and Thomas to anyone considering a vehicle purchase.

I recently bought a very nice car from them (it was such a good deal) when I wasn't even thinking about buying a car seriously, the deal was too good to let go.The Sales professional who helped us was super polite and helpful taking care of our concerns, I mean what else can we look for when purchasing beside a good deal? He could have easily scare us away with their go-grab-that-customer techniques the representatives usually do just to seal the deal,, but he instead made it clear that he just was there to help and addressed our concerns fully,something we see rarely when it comes to sales, and this made me feel like they really appreciated my busines.I have been considering different vehicles from various dealerships(all good deals to be fair) , but I trusted Evan and am happy to say I made the best decision.

I recently purchased a brand new 2016 Nissan Micra...

I recently purchased a brand new 2016 Nissan Micra SR approximately two weeks ago (June 18). Unfortunately, it has already given me more problems than my previous car. I brought it in (this was probably the 5th day of owning the vehicle) for service and was given a courtesy car. There were issues with the brakes that the technicians weren't able to replicate. I was told everything was fine, but experienced the same issue shortly after.

This time I recorded the sound the car would make when applying the brakes and brought the attention to Mike (Sales Manager) directly. He then was helpful and introduced me to Sam (Service Manager) whom assisted me. I was offered a second courtesy car (on June 27) and was told I would have it resolved by Wednesday. Fast forward to Wednesday (June 29) and I was told I could pick up the car, but then received a call approximately 30 minutes later informing me that the car is not completely fixed and will have to wait till Monday.

I am beyond frustrated as I have driven Nissan's courtesy car(s) more than I have driven the new car that was sold to me and let alone having to reschedule multiple times. Not to mention that I have yet to receive a spare key and was told I would receive it a few days after purchasing the car because someone had misplaced it. I appreciate the effort everyone is putting, however I am starting to doubt that I'll even be able to get my car on Monday (July 4). I honestly am hoping for the best and if things go south, I am hoping to be offered other options (i.e returning the car, exchanging the car, etc) from West Coast Nissan.

The reason I rated this dealership 3-stars is because Mike and Sam seemed to have been most helpful, but it is very difficult to be overall satisfied throughout this whole experience.

**Update**

Unfortunately I received a call Monday (July 4) from the service technician informing me that the car will not be ready until Tuesday (July 5). At that point I lost the majority of my patience and immediately went to West Coast Nissan to talk to Mike. Fortunately, Mike was very understanding and definitely reassured me that everything will be taken care of. I was provided with the option to exchange the car if it is not fixed/can not be fixed. I'm hoping this time i'll be able to get my car back.

**Update v2**

So after almost two weeks of waiting, the car is finally in my possession. So far the car has been great. Definitely hoping the noise does not come back. Now I can finally drive around my car. Big thank you to Mike (Sales Manager) and Cole (Service Technician) and to the rest of the team that assisted in resolving this bizarre case. Now I can finally give this review the full 5-stars it deserves.

Had been looking on line for a couple months for the best SUV for my needs (and budget). After looking at a few others, I booked a test drive with Wilson for a Rouge. While he didn't need to do much in the way of selling as I had pretty much made up my mind after the test drive, he was knowledgeable, helpful and explained options to me. The rest of the staff from reception to finance to whomever got rid of my Jeep (sorry, totally forgot your names) were all pleasant and helpful. I am now the proud pilot of Rouge One :)

I spent a lot (LOT!) of time searching for our family's next new/used vehicle, and ended up purchasing a new Nissan from WestCoast Nissan have absolutely 0 regrets. In fact, I'm looking forward to my next vehicle purchase as I can skip the research and go straight to my new friends there. They are not pushy at all and will take all your needs into account and point you in several directions to try and help you out (even if they don't end up selling you the car! ). They completely care about your satisfaction and are extremely professional and completely know their stuff.

Thomas took care of us the moment we called with interest on an 2014 Infiniti QX80 . He had the plates on so when we showed up it was ready for us to test drive. He was honest, straight forward and made us feel comfortable. We've had the vehicle for 2 weeks now and still talk about the great service we got from Thomas Bryne at West Coast Nissan. I will be coming back when we purchase another vehicle.

For basic upkeep we received good service. Once we experienced an issue with our new Altima, the service drastically changed. After purchasing our new vehicle, we ordered a spoiler which they installed and painted to match the vehicle colour at the dealership. The clear coat began to blister after a couple of years and continued to deteriorate over time. We brought it to the attention of Mike, the manager at this dealership. He said he would get back to us but after waiting weeks we called again with no response. After two months (and 3 phone calls) no assistance was provided. Finally decided to contact the owner of this Nissan dealership and was again ignored. The owner refused to accept any calls and no follow-up has been provided. To date, no attempt has been made to rectify the issue. Would not deal with this Nissan dealership in the future.

Had quite an issue buying out the car I ve used in the lease from the dealership. First, nobody from the dealership would call at the end of the lease to finalize the transaction. Called their finance department and Jenny suggested to call Nissan Canada Finance (NCF) instead and deal with them directly to save money on dealership fee and on the car inspection. The problem is NCF won t send the transfer form required by autoplan to complete the ownership change, they only send the bill of sale.
Anyways, e-mailed the dealership several times trying to make an appointment but got no response from Jenny or anyone else who monitors the finance mailbox.
Switched the lease to Nissan Morrey in Coquitlam and completed the buy out transaction in 15 mins. By the way, I found out no inspection is needed when you buy out the leased car which is the opposite of what Jenny told me.

My maintenance light came on because my car was due for an oil change and tire rotation.

I don't usually go to West Coast Nissan but they confirmed before booking that my maintenance package through Nissan is usable there as well.

Kelvin at the service department was very accommodating I came in a bit early and he was able to squeeze my vehicle in right away to save me a bit of time. It was nice seeing that the staff here were following social distancing policies with pretty much everyone wearing a mask too. Kelvin went through my service record and pointed out that the other Nissan dealership that I usually go to had missed a few key service items. I was really impressed with the attention to detail my vehicle was given, they really left no stone unturned.

Looking back at my previous experiences at car dealerships, I have to say that I felt my needs were taken care of more by West Coast Nissan than any other that I've visited in the past. Very friendly professional and accountable service.

I was very nervous and unsure about buying a vehicle but we had Richie as our salesman who was very knowledgeable and helpful and made me feel like I was making the best decision for our family and never once felt pressured. I had a outstanding experience At west coast Nissan with Richie McIntyre this past week. He really went above and beyond to get me into a vehicle. I truly had no idea about cars/insurance coming into this and Richies positive attitude made it easy and comfortable for me. Richie was informative and explained everything in a professional manner, in a way that I could understand. Richie was also exceptionally helpful with the financing process and getting me approved. I was thrilled to leave today in a beautiful Nissan Altima and I owe that success to Richie McIntyre for his amazing customer service skills. I bought used Nissan from West Coast Nissan about four weeks ago.

I drove with the car about 2500km in period of about 4weeks.

There was some major issues with the car from day one and some confusion about the service history of the car.

After second time in Nissan service in three weeks service manager Sam assured me that car is 100%, but
I didn't feel comfortable with car after all issues and I wanted returned the car.

There was no questions asked and they returned all of my money.

This guys really stand behind there word and there cars.
I was dealing with Alty and Mike from sales and Sam from service and all those guys where awesome and helpful.

It was not there fault that the car was not in that condition what I was expecting it to be.

It is nice to see that there is still honest car dealerships.

I do not recommend West Coast Nissan. The service person did nothing to help us figure out how to deal with our Nissan Rogue that was showing trouble on a Saturday. Service rep offered me the option of having my car towed to the dealer, and waiting for an appointment two weeks away. This was the week before Christmas, I was in a panic to get this vehicle fixed. I proceeded to call Morrey Nissan, located 15 min from West Coast Nissan, and the tech quickly offered basic trouble shooting steps. I then waited till Monday and called Morrey Nissan again and the tech suggested it could be a defect in my transmission...three days later we had a brand new transmission at no cost. Had WestCoast Nissan tried just a little to help me out then I would have gladly had the work completed there. Yesterday I went back to return some of the oil that I purchased and the same rep did nothing..didn't even ask me how I was or if my car troubles were sorted out.

We got a brand new 2018 Leaf and are loving it! There is usually a 6 month wait for this car, but Alty was able to track one down that wasn't attached to a pre-order yet. Thanks to him, we received the car after waiting only about a month, with a monthly payment equivalent to what we were paying for gas! Sam was also great. He handled the delivery and spent a lot of time showing us the features of the car. Amani handled the paperwork and was thorough and informative. Overall, the best experience we've had purchasing a car!

This is one of the most thorough experiences I have had buying a car. The salesman Sam Karmali did an absolutely amazing job in making sure all my expectations were met.

Have a problem now with a key system error and almost four years later all I had to do was text Sam and he called me back in minutes on a Thursday night after work was done. He is setting me up with a solution on his own time. That is dedication to keeping your customers happy!
