If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst place to buy a car. The worst customer service. I don t know what their end game is but it is certainly not winning my loyalty. I have had the most excellent experiences at Mini of Murray and CarMax for different vehicles. Came here and felt pressured and rushed and then was told the car I wanted wasn t even actually available after waiting 2 hours for them to draw up paperwork ..mind you it was literally just some scribbles on a random piece of paper. If I m going to take the time on my day off and spend my hard earned money I m never going to settle for some random car on the lot just because that s the only other option.

Wow three weeks in the shop and it was still broken. Very poor communication. They never answer the phone. You have to do everything thru a texting app.

And how did it get fixed? My husband explained what he would do and guess what, they did it and it fixed it.

Just bought my new Jetta and the sales person Zach was awesome. Felt like I had someone in my court helping me to get the best deal possible. He was very helpful, answered every question I gave him honestly and candidly. This was a great experience. I never felt pressured would definitely recommend this dealership. Mike was also super down to earth and very knowledgeable and went over all the paper work in plain simple English.
I bought a brand new car from them a few months ago. Last week I ended up with a nail in a tire and the damage was bad enough that I needed to replace it. I live in Utah County and after calling every tire shop within 60 miles their service center was the only place that had the tire I needed. They said they had one in stock. I wanted to head there right away as it is my only vehicle, but they said all of their mechanics had already left for the day (an hour and a half before closing time). I scheduled for the next morning and got up early to drive there on my donut going 45mph the entire way. After waiting about 40 minutes they came back to tell me that they couldn t find the tire and there was nothing they could do for me. No apology. No suggestions. No attempt to make it right. So I drove all the way back to Provo on my donut and had to order the tire myself and wait 5 more days to have it replaced. They don t tell you that replacing one of their tires is going to put your vehicle basically out of commission for a week. They also don t tell you that their service center is a complete joke when it comes to customer service and competence. A flat tire should not be the nightmare that it has been for me. Steer clear of this place!

Eric M scheduled appt with after I saw car online i was interested in. He had car ready right on time. It was not a good fit for me. He suggested another couple of cars to look at which were good options but ultimately decided against. I was close to calling it when he came up with a fourth option. This one was a fit- and we sealed the deal. Throughout Eric was patient and helpful. He was persistent but not overbearing. Other sales persons could learn from him. I am so disappointed and frustrated with my experience.
I purchased a used 2011 Jetta in January and the only issue I had was that we weren't offered the option to purchase a warranty. After several calls and messages I went in to purchase one. About a month after the purchase is when the problems started. The car battery light would come on and the engine would shut off at random times. We took it in and had to pay for a new alternator due to the warranty not being active for 30 days after purchase, something we were not told. It is now October, the car only has 2000 miles added to it and we are still having the same issue. We have put so much money into this and every time we bring it back we get told oh it is this and the cost is over a grand. We finally took it to another mechanic for a second opinion to find out that the alternator is bad. When we brought it back to have the parts warranty used to replace the alternator we are told that we need to drive it around more to get the battery light to come on. Yes, drive an unsafe car to create a hazardous situation.
At this point I feel like this was a known issue when we bought the car and have been yanked around to get money out of us.
I will not be buying a car with this place again and plan to never bring my jetta back for service.
Update: I feel I need to specify the warranty. We were never offered a warranty nor told that it came with one. After many calls and messages we went in to purchase one that was an extended coverage. When the alternator needed replaced we were told that because thw warranty was purchased 10 days after purchase of the vehicle the warranty was on a 30 day hold. Which we were also not told about.
Also, we know that the new alternator is bad out of box because the voltage is dropping below 13.5 but they will not replace claiming that it is not bad.
The staff here are fantastic! They really.work hard to get you in the car you want. I worked with Msrtin who was phenomenal. He understood what I was looking for and took the time to look around for cars that fit exactly what I was looking and in the price range. He was very caring and very informative letting me know each step of the way. I would definitely recommend going here to get your next car. Plus they have fantastic deals. So I bought my car, a 2020 Jetta. Trey was my sales man and it was about closing time and he wasn't able to get my spare key so since he lives in the same apartment building with my brother, he told me he would drop it off the following day. I texted my brother a couple days after asking if he got the key and he said no. Since I had been told it was in the building but just locked in a draw and he didn't have the key, I went in 2 days after. I asked to talk to Trey and they couldn't find him nor the key. Some guy took my name and number and said that Trey had to order it and it'll be here in about 10 business days. I went 2 weeks later and again they couldn't find Trey. So another salesman took my name and number and said that he would call me and figure out what happened with the key. I called three weeks later, giving them plenty of time to order the key and get it shipped in and I spoke to Daniel Greene who said that he would let me know what's going on. Three hours went by and still nothing. So my dad had to call and then he asked to speak to Daniel who didn't order the key. So after some yelling from my dad he ordered the key and said that it would be in the building in 5 business days and that I would get a call. Nothing. So I called and spoke to Daniel who said they've had it for 3 days and someone was supposed to call me but I didn't see a miss call, I didn't have a voice mail. Then the guy I spoke to said that he did call and he was giving me a ton of attitude so I hung up and spoke to Daniel again and he set up an appointment. So then I asked when I got there, since they gave me such a hard time, if they could clean my car and Daniel said yes. After they programmed the spare key he came back and said that they couldn't clean it because of personal belongings. There was only trash and a seat cover but he didn't tell me what the problem was, they detailed my brother's car a month ago so I knew they were able to but he chose not to. I left a message for Maddie who is supposedly above them and will be able to fix the situation. I will never recommend this place or Trey. This was ridiculous.
First of all I want to thank Gio and Martin from VW SouthTowne, for their excellent customer service. My husband and I are greatful for them. The day before we went to STRONG VW, which I don t recommend, and we had the worst possible experience you can ever have at a dealership. To the point where I felt the manager judged us and wasn t even helpful. In the end they wanted to sell us a basic model car with a high monthly payment! So my husband and I walked away. After coming home I decided to google other VW locations around us and thankfully we found VW at Southtowne. I put in my information for my trade in value and within minutes Gio messaged me and we got to talking about what we were looking for and our situation and we told them our experience at STRONG, so he set us up with an appointment for the next day to come look at what they had and offer us something better. When we arrived we were greeted by him and his partner Martin, which I think they make an absolutely awesome team. The thing about Gio that we liked was that he wasn t pushy and he treated us like human beings and not a number. And Martin was very upfront and helpful in many ways that made us realize what we actually wanted. Gio acknowledged that he wanted the best for us because he himself is a consumer. So that made us more comfortable. After walking the lot and seeing different Tiguan's, they offered us also a basic model but we wanted to see what the numbers were and see if it was worth it but thanks to Martins dedication he was finally able to find us the perfect SUV with an even better offer! I recently went in to have a software update on my 2019 Atlas and worked with Bo in the service department. He was exellent to work with! Explained everything they were going to do, sent a video of the process, and made sure I had what I needed before I left.
The service was outstanding. The guy to see about buying a new car is Charlie. I couldn t have asked for better service or a better outcome when buying a new car. Charlie and one of the managers Travis really helped me stay within our budget and overall it was a great experience. Charlie is the only salesman I ll see when I go there from now on.
So we started out with Strong Volkswagen and that experience was not good. We wanted to do as much as possible while distancing. No one was responding back or making an effort to help. We called Southetowne and Charlie stepped in and took over like a champ. He was very responsive even on his day off. He keep us in the loop and was incredibly professional. Mike our finance guy was great as well. We have purchased a few cars in our days but this was my daughter s first time. They treated her so well and this by far was the best car buying experience I ve ever had!!

Had a few experiences here. First one was not good at all Zeyada was not good to work with. Got us into a lease and upside down in a new Jetta the day I traded in my truck. Came back over a year later and Travis Thomas and Travis Ching were both very understanding even tho I was getting upset with them which I deeply apologize for because they got me out of the lease and let me purchase an even better Jetta with better payments and interest rate. Great team of travis to work with I don t recommend leasing anything or listening to the negative equity stuff. Anyway they totally changed my mind about this place. Thanks again
My husband I recently made a purchase here. They initially had amazing customer service, this was before we purchased the vehicle. During the time that we were arranging the deal we were told that if we put 5k down that same day we would not pay for four months. We ended up looking over our statement and turned out that we were making the first payment in the month of August. Not only that but the following day of bring the car home we realized that our windshield was broken. On our carfax inspection it shows that there was no damage done. I went in to try to get it fix and the mechanics there said that they weren't allowed to do this, that instead they would send us elsewhere to get it repaired and pay for this ourselves. I went in without my husband and I felt like no one was taking me seriously. Please I recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to look elsewhere!

First off...If you know my wife at all...any commission based store/office/etc is not a place she enjoys!! That being said we had done some research and had even called ahead. When we got to the dealership there were several sales people outside so we parked away from the front and just started looking around.
Cody (Bow tie) was the guy I had spoken to on the phone and he came and found us once he was told we were there. He was great!!
One of the first things my wife said to him is that she won t go inside when it comes to the paperwork and negotiating, and he responded quickly with, I ll bring the table out to you and we can sit down right here if that s what it takes! I knew at that moment he was going to be someone we could work with.
Although we had researched and had specific ideas, we completely went a different direction. Cody (Bow tie) was able to respond quickly and helped us pursue other areas. We had even tried another dealership but came back to Cody. We were wanting to be sure and we weren t in a hurry, so we shopped around a bit.

By far the smoothest car buying experience I ve ever had. Normally, you re yanked around for hours. I was in & out in under 3 hours, mostly due to how BUSY they got and the finance people having their desks completely full of sales to complete. I will definitely shop here again!
