I tried to purchase a car from Sheehy and everything was setup over the phone, ready to purchase. Upon starting the paperwork, the salesman, Paul, went to get the VIN and miles from my car and then came back. As discussed, they were going to use the Edmunds value for my vehicle. My car is a 2015 Honda Accord with 8000 miles and is in Outstanding condition. Upon selecting the condition, Paul stated that the car was not outstanding because of "rock chips". When I asked him to show me the rock chips, there was nothing for him to show. He was pointing out the bugs that were on the car. When I asked to speak to the manager, John, with whom I had spoken on the phone about the condition, he would not come out. I was very upset that even though that he told me that we would "talk and tell jokes" when I got there, he failed to even come and talk to me. I will now be going to another volkswagen dealership outside of the area to purchase a vehicle.

We took our daughter's car to be serviced there and had a host of things supposedly wrong with it. We authorized repairs for what we were told was the cause of the problem we took it in for - a total of just under $800 and declined the other $1995 of recommended repairs. I made the mistake of giving a great review after we left because I thought they had fixed the issue and everyone was so nice. In actuality we discovered they hadn't fixed it. When we took it back in, supposedly it was something completely different that was going to be over $400 to repair, but were told it wasn't really driveable because of $1500 worth of work that needed to be done - different than the previous list. We paid the additional for the first repair, but complained about the additional charges to fix what they were supposed to fix the first time. Turns out our car didn't need all of the additional repairs, but we did take it to a reputable repair shop to be looked at and to have some of the recommended repairs done (timing belt & water pump). We paid just over a third of what the dealership was going to charge us. When I complained to the service manager about all of the overpayments for the original issue, no partial refund was offered - just the offer to have some free labor if we wanted t have other work done. Not a chance I will ever take the vehicles back to this ripoff place.

I cannot say enough about De Maryo in sales. We were shopping for a Tiguan and had gone to another nearby dealer. In Frustration over the poor service we were getting I googled Sheehy Springfield while in the original dealership. Luckily I was connected with De Maryo. He went above and beyond to encourage us to bring our business over. I had a good feeling from the start and I was blown away by him and the entire team. They didn t have the color we wanted but the staff and De Maryo found the right car and took us to see our desired color on a lot in another style so we could be sure. Then they searched the dealers in the vicinity and found one so Happy New Year we will have the car we want in the color we want with a discount for waiting. He knew so much about the car and it s competitors in the same class of car. I know we got the right price and the best car. I m bringing my other VW along with the new o e to Sheehy for service too this will be out of the way but I know I m going to get the best service there. Staff in the finance department was top notch too and the reception staff were so nice and helpful. If you are in the DC area go to Sheehy and find De Maryo. You will be so glad you did!

After purchasing a used car from Sheehy, there was a repair issue. The service department went out of their way to cover the repair even though VW USA was saying it was "wear and tear". Sheehy went above and beyond to ensure that the car was repaired. Great experience with the service department and especially Terry Hong.

I had a wonderful experience at the Springfield VW and the most AWESOME sales rep, Frank Calderone. I highly recommend that you ask for Frank when you get there....he truly goes the extra mile to get you into the RIGHT VW for you. I was very pleased with the staff overall - very friendly and helpful, cleanliness of the area, newly rennovated. They had lots of financing options and many cars to choose from. I plan to go back there for my next two daughter's cars in the not-to-distant future!

Riadh is awesome. He was straightforward and honest from the get-go. I left another dealership to grab an Uber to Sheehy to meet with Riadh after speaking with him on the phone. He said he would make the trip worth my while and he was right. We sat down and I told him what I was looking for and what my price range was. Riadh found the car I was looking for and made the numbers work for my budget. I drove away with a new VW that day!

I had a great experience! I walked in without an appointment and was immediately greeted by Jonathan Routt. I had seen a 2014 Jetta online (the price was insanely good) which I was able to test drive right away. Jonathan was super nice and personable. When time came to work numbers out he straight up asked me what I wanted. I traded in my 2014 Mini Countryman and he and the finance manager worked out with me and gave me what I wanted for the trade in and the monthly payments. All together it was super easy and they did go above and beyond to work with me and my budget.

Perry was THE BEST salesperson ever!!! From the start, he was very personable, up front, and very professional. I had been to quite a few dealerships and his demeanor and patience is what sold me among other things. But, I will definitely recommend him to friends and family. Perry is awesome!!!

I bought my 2009 Volkswagen Beetle from Springfield Volkswagen. The buying experience was fantastic. At the time they gave me a better rate for my car loan then my credit union could give me. They gave me a great value for my trade-in vehicle. And a great price on my new Volkswagen Beetle. I continued to bring my car in for service for the past 10 years. For the most part I ve had good experience with all my service visits since the time I bought my car in 2009. Unfortunately over this last year I ve had nothing but issues with the service I received on my car from Sheehy Volkswagen. It seems that almost every time I brought my Beetle in for service after I picked it up and got home I found yet another problem with my car. For a very routine visit for an inspection on my vehicle and an oil change they damage the rockers on my Beetle. They didn t want to admit that they caused the damage but they knew they had caused the damage as they took the car and had it repaired. Of course when I picked up the car from the repair the paint job wasn t done correctly so we had to send it back. And at the time they told me that I had a brake light that was out so they repaired the brake light for free. Then, after picking up my car, I realized that the other back light was collecting water inside the light. Which wasn t happening prior to them replacing the burnt out light on the other side. I brought it back they ordered a new light fixture and they put it in Saying it was a goodwill repair. Of course when I pick up the car after they installed the light the rubber that goes around the light was not surrounding the light properly. When I brought it to the service managers attention he had 1 million excuses on why the light went in this way and the rubber that totally around the light. He also informed me that they wouldn t guarantee or warranty this repair since it was a goodwill repair. I have to say that that seems off to me that they can t stand by their workmanship whether it s Goodwill or whether I paid for it. I have been bringing my car for service for the past 10 years I ve owned my car only to that Volkswagen dealer. Obviously my bill has always been higher by going to a dealer even after my warranty had expired to have repairs then going to a regular mechanic. But I felt like I could trust Volkswagen to do repairs properly and honestly. Well up until this last year I would say that that was true. But this last year has left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding the customer service and repairs that I had received on my vehicle. All I ever got were excuses no matter what I brought up to my service consultant Ray. Very frustrating to say the least. I think I will find a new place to take my vehicle since I ve gotten to the point where I really can t trust them working on my car without damaging it or causing another problem to arise as soon as I pick my car up from them. Please check over your car if you leave them there for service to make sure there are scratches dents broken parts that you ll find once you get your car home.

Saw an ad for a truck and inquired about it. Drove down from Maryland and met with David Woelk after talking to him about the vehicle over the phone. He had the truck cleaned up and waiting for me to test drive it by the time I arrived. Him and the other members of Sheehy vw had me in and out the door in no time, heading home with my new to me vehicle.

Took my jetta here recently for an oil change and was not impressed. It seems the service tech was banking on the fact that I seemed un-knowledgeable about cars and tried to up sell services and scare me into different services that weren't/aren't needed. The first words out of the tech's mouth on the phone were "How long do you plan on keeping your car?" When I spoke to the service tech on the phone they listed a bunch of services that were needed and said they would write them down as recommended since I declined all but one of them. Well once I got that form with the recommendations on it they were completely different than the ones being told to me via phone. I've always had my car serviced by VW but will not be coming back again to Sheehy. I'll make the 3 hour drive to the dealer where I bought it just because I know they're honest and won't try to rip me off.

Bravo Sheehy VW service department!! I am new to the area and brought my Jetta here for service based on Google reviews (I live in Alexandria, but read one too many negative reviews from the dealership there). My first visit I had a few things that needed to be fixed and it ended up being a little more expensive than I had anticipated, but everyone there was very friendly and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Not to mention, I just came in with no appointment towards the end of the day. A couple weeks later I am having yet another issue with my car. I called Ben and he told me to bring my car in whenever and they would fit me in. I have never been treated so well at a dealership! Ben and the whole crew really listened to me and did a great job investigating my rather peculiar issue with my car battery. I really felt like they cared about my car and my well-being. They took me into the back, where they were working on my Jetta, to ask me a few more questions and kind of walk me through what the problem was and what they were going to do to fix it. Ben and the rest of the service crew are the exact reason why I bought a VW to begin with. You will not be nickel and dimed to death here, unlike some other VW dealerships I have been to (Walker VW in New Orleans).

My wife and I came in half unsure about whether or not we wanted to buy a VW and were greeted with nothing but wonderful service right at the door. Right from Russ, the Manager who greeted us when we walked in, to Naim our sales guy, we were treated with the utmost professional courtesy and the highest level of stress-free service. Their approach was to help us select the option that worked for us rather than try to force/pressure us into making a decision for their benefit. After we made a decision, the administrative and financial processes were seamlessly coordinated and all involved in the process delivered with distinction. This was the most hassle-free professional vehicle purchasing experience I have ever had. We bought our car from another city and did everything over the phone or by email. Excellent, timely, quick responses from the first call through delivery of the car. We worked with Kathleen and just can't say enough good.

Please do not buy a used car from this dealership. We bought a used Honda Minivan from the dealership and the next day we took it into a mechanic and he said the car shouldn't have even passed safety due to a broken engine mount. They don't service the used cars at all. They just buy and turn around and sell them with all of their problems. If you are looking for a used car stay away and find a better place.

My entire car buying experience was so relaxing. I have never walked into a dealership and felt so at ease. Everyone was so nice. Especially the gentleman that assisted me with purchasing my car. I recently had a great experience co-signing a loan for my sister's Jetta. Paul Wicker and Vanessa Figueroa were both very courteous and professional. We took the vehicle for an comprehensive inspection and the mechanic said it was in better shape than any other vehicle he had seen with those miles. Sheehy prices their used vehicles competitively enough to catch the attention of those doing their homework. Vanessa in Financing went the extra mile to check with a third bank and she just lowered our interest rates 4 percentage points! I would definitely recommend Sheehy VW to friends and families.

Service team is always pleasant and helpful. We have a 19 Jetta with 80k miles so definitely in the shop for regular maintenance frequently. They offer a shuttle service to take you home after you drop off your car.

I was really impressed with my buying experience at Sheehy Volkswagen. I drove down from Silver Spring Maryland because of the conversation I had with Naim Bryant (Sheehy VW Sales) re the purchase of a VW GTI. Naim was very responsive. I did not feel pressured or stressed in making the purchase because of his professionalism and at the same time, friendly manner in which he conducted himself. Springfield is a hike but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Excellent service, comfortable reception and knowledgeable support. I would recommend this dealership and Naim to both friends and family.

I went in on a Friday to look at cars with my family. The salesman, Christopher Marshall, was very personable and friendly. He was very willing to negotiate and gave a fair price on the 2013 Passat. The issue was once the car was purchased. I was going on vacation the weekend after I purchased the car and the dealership had four days to clean and get the car ready for me. When I picked up the car it was clean but it was not until i got home that I realized that they did not place the holder for my front licence plate on my car. They also did not fill up my tank with gas as they had promised to do. After multiple phone calls to my salesman and an email to his manager I heard nothing. Three weeks later I have still heard nothing. Now my plates have not come in and after multiple calls no one will tell me the status of my DMV paperwork they were supposed to file the day I signed the paperwork. Buyer beware, customer service once you purchase a car is terrible. It is as if they do not care once they have your money.

He wasn t pushy and understood the specifications I had. He easily was able to pinpoint and show me the options I had not only regarding the choice of vehicle, but my financial options as well. Her sales rep, Khash was one of the nicest car salesman I have encountered, and trust me I've purchased many cars over the years. I am so thrilled with the experience, I had to write a review. I will also add, I'm not the easiest customer to please. Khash answered every question I had, provided us with very competitive pricing and was able to get us in and out of financing quickly. That was a first! I normally dread going to finance... I spoke with the Sales Manager, John Mercer, who was just as easy to deal with as Khash. What a winning team!!! I feel very fortunate to have discovered VW of Springfield. My sales consultant was Lucia Giordano, and she s incredible!! We corresponded many times before actually meeting to make sure she had an idea of what I wanted. She steadily did her research. On the day of my appointment, Lucia was ready to go! The experience was almost seamless. I was greeted at 11am by Min as we had scheduled, he had the car I requested waiting for me to test drive. After seeing my ambivalence about that particular car, Min walked the entire lot with me, showed me five other cars to test drive until I found the exact car I wanted, no rush, no hassle, no attitude. It was easy to work with him, no guess work, straightforward and forthcoming. While I bought a used car last week, when my lease on my other vehicle is up I intend to do business again with Min. All salespersons should be so attentive to their customers as Min. I will definitely recommend anyone I know in the market for a Volkswagen new or used to see Min at Sheehy. I believe he will give them the same type of service he gave me. I should also mention that the finance manager was able to give me a great rate (one and a half percentage points less than I received from my credit union), which was already a great rate. Thank you Min and the team at Sheehy, you guys are the best!

Great Customer service from everyone. I bought A VW Passat from the store. My Sales consultant was Samim Amirabadi and he was extremely helpful. He showed me several cars and took his time to explain and understand my needs If you are Going to this store please ask for him he is very good. After I chose my car the process was seamless. AJ at the finance office did my paperwork and explain my warranty options. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the service and the level of professionalism from Samim and everybody. I will definitely come back and refer my friends to the store.

Khash's customer service is superb! He is an honest salesperson and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that his customers are happy. In this type of business, it is difficult to find a car dealership who truly cares about their customers. Sheehy has exemplified that. I would definitely purchase a vehicle from Sheehy again.

First of all I want to applaud these guys. I have NEVER been able to get all that I wanted and not feel pressured into a car! They were awesome. My husband, a 6 month old and. 2 year old cane in and they treated us golden on a stormy Friday night!! I spoke to Perry before hand and he was straight forward and spoke to me as a person, not just trying to sell me a car. He found what we needed for our family and respected our budget. Damaryo was just as great. He found us the 2019 Tiguan and assisted us as we put the whole family in it and test drove it. Amazing patience and kindness to my kids. Both these guys talked to my oldest son and made us feel so welcomed!!

This wasn t my first VW my first finances car as a grad was a New Beetle, and that experience was awesome as well at another dealership. Not to be too much but it s like a Brand thing VW dealerships care about their families and I am so glad to be back in the family!!!

I have NO IDEA how they have such a high rating--either unknowing customers or fake reviews, who knows.

Don't bother chatting with them--the person you talk to has NO CLUE about anything--they're just there to mine your data and set you up for a tonne of emails and calls from pushy sales people. And the prices online are total BS. Saw an advert for a Jetta for $15,976--had to read to the very bottom in very fine print to see that the price included " online prices include all applicable discounts and rebates and are plus tax, tags, title processing fee of $699 VA and freight only." As I found out, that means that the price advertised is NOT possible to attain--you can't finance a car and lease it at the same time, so there is a tonne of money added back to the price. Talk about Bait and Switch!!!!!!

I walked into the dealership just because my son in law bought a car from there. I really know what I wanted or if I wanted to get a car at all. I was killing time and waiting for my family to go to my granddaughter's birthday dinner. A salesman named Delvin Wilson greeted me. He asked me if there were any questions that he could answer for me and I told him that I was looking for a car. He then escorted me to his office, sat me down and asked me what I was I was looking for in a vehicle. I guess he realized that I am a 63 year old man and didn't really want to walk the entire lot. He narrowed it down to two vehicles and presented both of the vehicles to me. I chose the 2005 Passat but didn't have time to complete the deal because I had to go to dinner and he allowed me to drive the car to the restaurant to be with my family.

If you are going to go to Sheehy Volkswagen in Springfield, go and ask for Delvin Wilson.Delvin treats you like a family member not a customer. He is very polite, knowledgable, respectful and honest. I recommend this dealership to anyone.

Worst service experience. I purchased a car and car purchase experience was smooth and I have purchased VIP Club Plus members and at the time of VIP membership they mentioned that it can be transferable to other car. My car got totaled and purchased other car. so, I thought of transferring the membership and called the front desk of Spring field Sheehy. After couple of tries, I am able to get someone answered the call and they said I need to reach he Service and when I reach service team then they told me to reach out finance team and when I reach finance team they said that the membership can't be transferable and can't be refundable. I am totally felt like scammed. I lost around 700 dollars for this. and totally disappointed with the customer support as well. I highly recommend not to purchase VIP membership from these guess.

I bought my first car, a 2015 Jetta, from Sheehy, and it was a considerably better experience than I had anticipated. Rick was the best! Not only was he very knowledgable, he made sure I knew how to do everything a first time buyer/ seller needed. (I had been using my family's Honda before it died, and I sold it to Sheehy when I bought the Jetta). Sheehy gave me the best price for my old car, and had the lowest price for the new one on true car.

All in all, the top reasons I would recommend and return to this particular dealership are the transparency during the buying process, the availability of the employees, and just the fact that they seemed to actually care about me and my car situation.

Riadh is a great asset to this organization. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Sheehey. Our last sales guy has moved on, but we were so lucky to do business with Riadh. He is an honest, no BS kind of guy. We were in and out of there within 4 hours with a new car. I would recommend asking for him by name. Riadh Mejri. He s the man.

Demaryo Platt was our sales person. He was very good, responsive and was not pushy at all. Was very respectful and patient.

There was an issue however figuring out the financing details (their website needs to lay things out more clearly) with the finance team. Things were not very clear. Hence deducting 1 star.

Took us almost 5 hours to get the car keys finally.
