Used them for years!!! Always on time... very reliable!!!! Cheaper then uber in most cases!!! Drivers are very well trained and are very safe polite and courteous!!! Its a good family owned and operated company! I will continue to keep using them
Taxis are almost always clean, they take a while to arrive but most of them are nice people, the automated system is pretty nice but not the best, I've had some problems with some drivers but it did not affect the quality of the ride.
I have been on both sides of the fence as a customer and a driver. None compares to the scheduled and well maintained vehicles, the safety technologies installed in all of the taxicabs, the training and background checks on its drivers which discriminate against reckless drivers and criminals to protect both the customer and the general public. All of this for a price that is very competitive to the other good sized taxicab companies.
Great company! Clean and Safe Taxicabs! Legal and Insured! Great rates! And a great place to work! Big enough to serve and small enough to care. If it doesn't say VIP on the side, you've just been taken for a ride.

VIP Taxi's customer service is horrible. I've had several issues with them, but one particular event with an employee really struck a nerve.
VIP Taxi usually drives my hard of hearing, spanish speaking father to dialysis and drops him off back home. However on Thursday, December 22, 2016, my mother and I received a call from an employee. She asks if Jose Rodriguez had been picked up. I was confused and told her that no, he's at dialysis and needs to be picked up by them . That they're the ones that pickhim up. She says okay, that they'll send a driver, then hangs up. Immediately, my mom gets a text from VIP TAXI saying 'sorry we missed you. If you want to use us....' . Now my mom and I are worried. I decide to call the number the woman just called me from. I told her about the text and she rudely told me that a driver was sent but was told by a person who worked at dialysis that my father was picked up. I tell her that wasn't possible. We have established what days VIP Taxi comes for my dad for dialysis. Everything was set up so they're sent automatically. She cuts me off shouting, 'LISTEN TO ME, LISTEN TO Me!He's NOT THERE. ' I hang up, I had no intent on arguing with someone when I had no idea where my father was . I call dialysis and a kind employee puts me on hold while she looks for him . She doesn't find him though. By then I've decided to look for him myself and involve the cops. However, I immediately get a call from VIP Taxi, in a completely different tone, the same girl from earlier informs me she sent a driver again and they have found him. I ask her if she's the same girl from earlier and she says yes. I ask her for her name. She replies, Taylor. I ask her, 'what's your last name?' Ignoring my question, she replies, ' I'm not comfortable giving you my last name' I ask her if she's really refusing to tell me. She says, ' I'm the only Taylor here so if you ask for me they'll know.'
I couldn't believe how disrespectful she had been. Use a sufferers to company that actually cares about the people . That's was no way to handle a problem.

Was leaving the airport today around 3:30 PM and merged in to the middle lane with full right of way. Your horrendous driver did not see me as he was attempting to merge in to the same lane at the same time. Luckily he finally spotted me and swerved back in to his lane.
He then proceeded to speed around me to the other side of my vehicle to flip me off and yell at me even though we were both in closed vehicles. So I am not really sure what he said, but I don't think it was "Hey, nice driving!".
Needless to say, I will never use your company nor recommend you to anyone thanks to your wonderful driver today.
If this gets to the aforementioned driver, next time you want to drive aggressively, I wouldn't recommend doing it in a company vehicle.
The car was clean, the driver was very kind, polite, and helpful. He arrived in a timely manner. MUCH BETTER THAN TOTAL TRASH TRANSIT ! The drive with safe and the fair amount was very reasonable !!! Highly recommend !!!
The vehicle was smelly, unmarked, trashed and the AC didn t work . The driver looked like he lived in the car and had to hold his cell phone up to use as a speedometer while only driving with one hand.
if I could give a zero I would. drivers are great call center is what's horrible. theee have no idea of customer service they might as well shut down for a few months and retrain all their call taking staff. none talk like a professional person. they never take ownership. and you never get the same story twice.their app quotes 9 min waits and that is never the app just throws numbers at the customer according to the call center staff. then they ask ignorant questions like well do you still need the cab? why would I be asking where my cab is if I didn't need it. it is really sad because you hear the deivers say all the time they don't know I just got the call
Prius #756 just almost just wrecked my truck and boat. This isn't nascar on the 60.
I asked cabbie if he would jumpstart my car battery. It took a couple minutes and I tipped him 25$. That's better than 75$ that tow places charge.
I use VIP TAXI daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I switched from uber/lyft because they don't take cash. VIP has always been extremly quick, drivers always nice, great customer service, so I didn't mind VIP service being more money then others. The last 4 weeks I have noticed getting a taxi is almost taking 20-30 minutes, drivers less friendly and one driver charges $7 and another charges $18 to go to exact same place. Most drivers have meter on 1 and few have on 3.... The meter on 3 charges way more and prices are ridiculous. I have never had these issues with VIP in the year I have been a loyal customer. NEVER!! I however, did file a complaint with supervisor on a issue I had Sunday, they immediately fixed the problem and today was compensated. Very thankful the office/management still has phenomenal customer service!! Not sure what's going on with drivers, long waits but as a long time customer its beginning to make me think I should go back to uber/lyft. If these are new drivers then they need to be trained because they are not representing VIP very well. As a manager I know GREAT Customer Service, Employees with positive attitude and able to communicate well = happy loyal customers!!
After declining a ride from a Discount Cab driver because he smelled like alcohol, I called VIP Taxi to come pick me up. Never again will I use anyone else. The car was clean, the driver was courteous, and the ride that I take every single night ended up being cheaper than any other company I've ever used. Plus I can use the Taxi Magic app with VIP, it's great.

We have been using VIP taxi for about a year now for my developmentally disabled daughter to get to and from work. The customer service representatives are great. Some of them now know my daughter and have been very helpful when she is booking her ride. The drivers are courteous and on time. Couldn't as for a better cab company. Everyone has been great.

I've had rides set up with VIP 4x. The first 2 times, I got a ride to and from my doctor's appt. successfully. The ONE star is for the last 2 rides set up, they never showed. I was Never called and no text message, nothing. I called when no one showed and I was told they can not accommodate me. When I ask why, the woman was rude to me and transfer me, a man picked up the phone never gave his name and just said we can't accommodate you. This happen for both rides left. One ride was for a procedural I had to undergo, so at the last minute I had to call my insurance and book it with Yellow cab. So if you book a ride they may cancel it and never contact you about their cancellation and they WON'T explain why.
The African American gentleman that drives car #770 threw a fit inside Whataburger while me and my brother were having lunch. He was very rude and doesn't put a good face on the company.
I had an emergency and no car. I called VIP Taxi and Paul answered the phone. When I explained the emergency, he immediately spoke with - I assume- his supervisor - a taxi was dispatched immediately and within a few minutes Chili (I am sure I am mis-spelling his name) was at my door. He not only was kind, but also very understanding about my emergency. I really appreciated their service, they helped me out when I couldn't get a hold of any family/friends. Thank you so much!!
I scheduled a taxi 2 hours ahead and I was assured, by the dispatcher, that the driver would be there on time. Taxi service did not show up and there was no communication from the driver. I do not recommend this "service".
If I could give them a zero I would. I scheduled a pick-up 2 hours in advance. When the cab hadn't shown up almost 10 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time, I called them and was told there were no available cabs and they'd call me back when there was one.
If you would like a car that is very late, even when you call several hours in advance; then this is the service for you. Always late, takes forever, rude drivers. I work with this company daily at work and we are working on a way to use uber for our hotel guests. I hope this awful company gets overrun by uber soon.
Wonderful driver. He was very polite! Picked me and my friends up in old town Scottsdale in a clean van!!! Very affordable prices and cheaper then uber was. We will be calling again.
I left an email to be contacted after the bad experience I had driving on the road next to one of their drivers. No response. It's people that drive like that person did who cause serious accidents
VIP Taxi is a DANGEROUS taxi company!!
I was literally threatened with assult and damage done to my vehicle window, only an hour ago, due to the poor and impatient actions of one of their drivers cab #254, license plate 4XZ-050. After the arrogant driver was upset ONLY due to being second in line to my vehicle, at an UNBUSY fast food drive up window, he provoked his passenger to get out of his cab and approach me sittting in my car. The passenger came up to my window pounding on it, while i was rollling it up, breaking the window's internal mechanisms, and threateniing to inflict bodily hard on me. The fast food worker and witness, was also yelling and demanding the passenger to back off away from me and stop damaging my car. After damage was done and realizing I was calling the police the passenger went got back into the cab and the cab driver left the drive up line leaving the scene.
To add insult to injury, while waiting for police I called VIP to report the driver and incient which was actually routed call to their MAIN Phoenix Corporate office, where a Katrina (refusing to give me her full name for obvious reasons), treated me so UNPROFESSIONALLY, like a piece of garbage and NOTHING SERIOUS HAPPENED AT ALL. Left me speechless. PLEASE PLEASE spread the word of mouth, I am postimg this also for all my friends to see on Facebook, this company is DANGEROUS and will laugh in your face after something so awful happened with their driver.
I try not to even imagine what would of happened if I did not see the passenger approaching and I was attacked, blindly.

I took VIP Taxi from downtown Tucson to the airport. The taxi arrived quickly and the driver got me to the airport with time to spare, even though I had called the cab a little late given the time of day.
I left my coat in the cab when I got to the airport, and was thrilled that the driver had found it and that company was able to mail it back to me.
I would recommend VIP Taxi to anyone visiting the Tucson area!
Twice i had wait almost an hour at Walmart for a simple pick up n drop off like other passengers have priority over others
First time ever in Arizona and there was an issue with the car rental company that left me and my 3 young children stuck! After a six hour flight and close to midnight, causing me to freak out for a second. Googled Uber s and there was none in the area. Found VIP taxi and ordered online, was able to follow the arrival time in my phone (which was nice). Shiloh the driver showed up in less then 10 mins. Let me tell you he was a lifesaver! A++ driver, so friendly and helpful.
Waited an hour and missed my appointment. No one tells you how long the taxi will take to get to you or how far away it is. Garbage.
Every time I have used them I felt safe. They are very reliable and cars are clean. I highly recommend them.

On November 12th we arrived at the Sky Harbor Airport and I realized I left my cell phone at the place we where staying in Tempe. We hopped into a cab to go back to pick up my cell phone. Luckily our driver (number 152) was a good driver, because he got to the place to pick up my phone then returned us promptly to the Airport with time to spare to pick up our flight. The driver was very understanding of my situation and worked very hard to get my phone and return promptly to the Airport. He is a good driver!!!

I had a ride from one of their drivers one night I have a service animal that needs to be next to me due to diabetic issues. I usually don't make complaints negative reviews but I felt that I needed to this time, and VIP Taxi got back with me and apologized and did everything they could to fix the issue including helping the driver understand the medical issues of a service animal. I just want to say thank U VIP Taxi for doing everything above and beyond what I've ever experienced any other company doing. you're more than appreciated.
I've been having problems with this taxi and they been giving me this run around that they going to have a taxi arrive asap! And they never did at all!!!! VIP canceled my ride while waiting 30 minutes from a business pick up because I was on another call and unable to answer their incoming call confirming my pick up after I'd already once called inquiring about where the driver was while waiting. No wonder ride share has taken over this was worst service I've received in a long time.
The dispatcher led when she told me that a cab would be at my house in 20-30 minutes latet. I received a text after 30 minutes stating my driver was another 30 minutes out.
When I called the driver confirmed that he had just been dispatched. I am not sure at this point if I will make my flight in time.
Some drivers are so Inconsiderate when they park to pick up somebody they park right in the middle where no other cars can get through and it's a double row parking that's a shame car 478
Unsafe driving, rude driver and felt very uncomfortable from him picking me up from Scottsdale to the airport. I should of used my wife's lyft app to get a ride from them. This company needs to clean house and find safer drivers that don't jeopardize other people's lives!

Took them over an hour to get here. After me calling TWICE, and them giving me a 10-15min ETA . Unreliable, and will never use again. Take a lyft or Uber if you can. I only used them bc I needed a car seat. THEN THE FINALLY GET HERE WITHOUT THE CAR SEATS!! Garbage company DO NOT USE.

I've always talked to dispatchers directly and have received timely ETA quotes. Wonderful and professional drivers in Gilbert, Central and North Phoenix. Never any issues. I would never ride share in Az. (NorCal never had issues) after car jacking experience but this company has competent, skilled and watchful drivers that are licensed/insured to be on the crazy Az. roads. You get what you pay for and prices are reasonable.
If I could give a zero, I would. I called an hour and thirty minutes before my pick up. I was booked for a ride at 2 and used their tracker to see where my cab was. It was 5 after 2 and Kristina, my driver was coming from the airport. At 2:08 I get a text that says sorry for the inconvenience but they are sending a different driver. At 2:45 I spoke with John and he acted like oh well, I still didn't get a cab. If you have a flight to get to, don't expect VIP to get you there.

I called at 7:08. It's almost 8. No show. Driver was very rude when he called and asked where we were at. Still waiting outside this restaurant. I had to call another taxi service.
All I can say is that the name fits the service. The driver showed me respect when I showed him respect and the taxi was clean. I will definitely keep them in mind for the future.
I had a great experience with VIP taxi! After my scheduled cab with yellow cab az did not show up, I was starting to worry that I was going to miss my flight. Luckily for me, VIP taxi answered my call quickly and got a cab out to me ASAP and I made it to the airport with time to spare. Great conversation with my driver as well. I felt safe and I could tell he knew where he was going. Thank you VIP taxi! Will definitely be using this service for my future visits to Arizona!

Horrible! I called the day prior to have a cab here the following day at 1245 to take me to the airport. I received a text at 1249 to let me know my cab is in route and the ETA was over 60 minutes. If you're trying to get somewhere on time, do not use this company. Canceled VIP taxi, Discount Cab was at my location in less than 5 minutes.
I called VIP the driver told me 15 minutes 45 minutes later he's not answering the phone or anything we will never use VIP Taxi again now we're waiting another 1/2 hr for another cab they really screwed up our evening thanks VIP

It's like having your own limo service at the touch of a dime. Cars are clean, drivers are pleasant and helpful.
This is not a rating for the drivers of VIP taxi, but for the very poor customer service I just received when I called the Tucson office, regarding non-emergency medical transport, but to and fro from the hospital or doctors appointments. My call was regarding payment; and if VIP works with insurance companies and their clients to ensure that the client doesn t have to pay, that insurance does, because insurance will pay for any medical transport, even mental health. When I called, the representative I spoke with, was impolite, no please, no thank, absolutely NO customer service skills at all. In fact, she made me feel as if I was a bother. I asked to speak to her supervisor and same thing, she actually hung up on me, after telling me they only accept one type of insurance. Now, why would VIP advertise medical appointment transport and etc, if you don t do anything to actually make your service desirable to others; to better your business and make more money, all while contributing in a major way to your society? Beats me, but you all need to train your staff at 1101 w Prince Rd, because they literally have no customer service skills. Number one loss of business right there.

After waiting 3 hours for a cab, I received a message saying they couldn't contact me to confirm. I called them immediately back n somehow in the 2 minutes from them confirming to me calling them back, they now have no cabs available. I wait an HOUR n rebook after I WALKED A MILE DOWN 43RD AVE!! I book it n while waiting for ETA, the system tells me it was cancelled by dispatch. I try rebooking n now received a message saying I'm blocked from their system n to call a manager during business hours. THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE TRYING TO GET A CAB HOME!!! I started trying at 11:50 p.m. to get a cab n it's now a quarter to 4 a.m. n I'm still waiting on the street for a cab. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY "FAMILY" OWNED COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LEFT WALKING HOME!! Terrible company!! Cars old n squeaking, smelling of stale cigars (that was yesterday's ride that took an hour n ten minutes to get). Better off riding the bus.
The smell if smoke in their cabs are awful, but better than their drivers. All women beware especially of white driver in van. Has warrents and has mental issues. Ran back ground on dumb ass
Do NOT waste your time....They have no concern for yours... I will keep it SIMPLE was told it was going to be 25-35 minutes for a pick-up... Not a problem I understand that... After 45 minutes I called and please understand I was never RUDE to them...They said 10 minutes, I said OK... 45 minutes later I get NO call from them or anything at all. Two hours go by and heard nothing from them... Is that customer Service? Called Discount cab and they were there within 10 minutes... I understand being busy but I do believe I should have gotten a call from them... Am I being unreasonable? I hate putting out surveys like this... So that YOU do not get frustrated use another service taxi company that actually or at least make you feel like they care...V.I.P. DOES NOT ....

If I could give negative score I would. After a hour and a half late , and numerous communications, I called Yellow Cab and they came within 15 minutes. We were late for our concert because of VIP taxi and I an not happy. The dispatcher was to call me and I never received a call. Poor service.
