Do not buy or get your vehicle serviced at Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington. Subpar vehicles, mediocre service, extremely long service times and th service manager Leylan Tucker is a bold face liar and extremely rude. I bought my Hyundai Santa Fe from Vandergriff Hyundai in Nov 2017 in less than (May 2018) 6 months my engine went completely out. I was stranded on the highway with an infant i called my insurance and had the car towed to them. I missed days of work because they didnt have any loaners. It took weeks for anyone to tell me what was going on with my car. I was told that the engine had been recalled after waiting more weeks literally over a month at this point i was told that my car no longer qualified for the recall and they would go through my warranty that i purchased there. Literally another month went by the only contact i recieved is when i called them. I was informed that they didnt have any engines and had to ship one from overseas. During this time i recieved numerous high mileage loaners which i had to inconveniently return at 1 point they gave me an accent mind you i have an SUV which i need for the space to work. Every time i went to get a new loaner the receptionist were extremely rude and less than helpful like i was inconviencing them. When i finally got my car back in July i had it for about a week qhen the check engine light came on. Really i just waited 3 months for a new motor... i sent the car back also i had an issue with my wheel making a funny noise which I had to constantly remind them of because apparently that wasnt an important enough issue for them to address. I was running pretty hot and requested to speak to a manager. I explained the situation and how being without my car made it impossible for me to go to a funeral in Louisiana because of the mileage restrictions on the loaners and how i wasnt able to get intouch with my service guy Keith. He lied to me and told me Keith was also at a funeral when i went in for one of my numerous loaner changes i saw Keith and apologized to him for his loss and he didnt know what i was talking about he said he went to a family reunion. Wow how manipulative to lie to me. I mentioned the tire issue and he tells me hes going to replace all 4 of my tires. Fast forward its now September i just came back from vacation and im like hey is my car ready and i was informed they needed more time. On sept 25 10 days later he says ok your car is ready im like hey i need a day im at work i cant leave i call him and ask about the car he says im good to go i ask about the tires and he says he has no idea what im talking about..... Really i told him what the guy said she says he'll get back to me. Of course no one calls i have to call them. Then he gets the service manager on the line and he says he doesnt remember and then implies that i refused to retun the loaner. He states we just want our car back. The irony!!! I request the general manager to call me i will update any changes. Im also reporting to BBB. This is not how you treat customers. Dont end up like me dont buy here or service here
