London s gateway to Europe and a truly beautiful example of Victorian architecture. A number of shops, restaurants and cafes are scattered throughout the station as well as a few beautiful works of art.

Pretty seamless security, but do arrive 30-40 mins before departure - if there's a lot of people you'll need the time. Not much seating in the waiting area but understandable given the size of the place within St Pancras. Train is comfy even on economy.

Stunning, beautifully restored building - worth visiting just to view the roof and space alone. Plenty of cafes and places to eat, though some shops are overpriced. Main issue is finding the right part of the building for the platform you want - can be challenging and signposting is not always clear. Also could do with more floor plans to help find both platforms and shops. Despite these issues, this is unquestionably my favourite station in London.

I wish I could put no stars as this was one of the worst experiences of my life. It was my first visit to this place just to get home, and I had no idea where I was going as there are no guards or signs for directions, due to me being late for my train as I had a crutch and had to get the train in 30 minutes from Westminster, clearly impossible (was booked by someone else for an awards evening) and had to pay an obscene amount of money and was told to go on the wrong train by a patronising and rude guard. Will never go by train ever again

A great railway station. Beautifully restored and maintained. Plenty of great stores and restaurants whilst you wait for your train. A real professional, efficient, friendly station. Well sign posted and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff for a tourist like myself.

ust a great terminal. They have lots of food options so definitely pick up some goodies for the train ride. The staff here is very helpful and clearing customs didn't take as long as I thought it would have.

I traveled with 1 large suitcase and two small carry on and it was totally fine. I was worried that maybe I wouldn't be allowed to travel with so much luggage but no one said anything.

The trains leave right on time so make sure to give yourself enough time to get there, print your ticket, go through security and then clear customs. I would say 50-60mins is perfect.

BREATHTAKING! Majestic structure, excellently preserved of enormous dimensions. Passing in front of the main entrance you have the feeling of being overwhelmed by beauty. It houses the international railway station. Difficult to find the way and the words to describe the grandeur and the effect it produces for visitors. Inside there is a beautiful metal statue depicting a soldier who greets his girlfriend embracing the first to leave for the war, embellished with decorations on the theme. Truly impressive. As far as I'm concerned, it is truly a "must have" in the memories of a trip to London. Absolutely not to be missed !!! 10 stars and praise.

London International Station, which is alongside King's Cross Station. Simply efficiency, you can take the Eurotunel from this station. And you can still arrive in London and take the tube or train at King's Cross to anywhere in London. Very easy and cheap.

Why on earth are there so few "collect ticket" terminals? Three for a whole station is insane. It's as if you were being punished for buying a cheaper ticket, or planning ahead. Be warned.

Spectacular railway station - interesting architectural details. Recently underwent a refurb. Start your journey in stylish surroundings! If you have time before your journey check out the large shopping arcade along its central axis with many excellent shops.

Really liked the look and feel of this place. Nice Christmas tree set up in the middle of it all and the pianist definitely sets a nice mood. Too bad we were late for our outbound train so we literally team through the station. I would've liked to spend more time here. Did notice some cafes which should be nice to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds.

Beautiful station with many things to do. You notice armed police which makes you feel much safer. Lifts to Eurostar platforms (Paris,Brussels) and East Midlands. Lifts to Javelin platforms for Faversham and Ebbsfleet. Escalators down to thameslink platforms for anyone daring to use their service. Just to let you guys know they are making a connection between Finsbury Park and St Pancras so soon you can travel to Cambridge.

Traumatised

I arrived at the Gare du Nord station on Sunday 30 July at approximately 1730 to board my train back to St Pancras where there are no clear signs regarding details of Eurostar check in and no help points. Having read online that the standard waiting time is 30 min I ensured to arrive on time for check in. To my shock and horror, I arrived to a chaotic scene with endless queues and panicked people with heavy bags and suitcases. The queue consisted of travellers for three different trains, one for 18 13 departure, one for 18 43 and one for around 19.13 with nowhere to sit. Their systems had clearly failed and we had to queue really far. I asked a lady holding up a sign whether I was missing my 18.13 am train at least 3 times and she told me I was on the right queue and to get back in the queue. As time passed, I panicked more and more. Eventually reaching the check in, I ran up another lady and showed her my tickets. She informed me that I was few min late and that the check in was closed. She advised me that I should buy a new ticket from SNCF. They were not taking responsibility but wanted me to pay for a new ticket and had clearly rehearsed a speech. I was pleading with her that I must be back in London asap. I also pleaded with her as my mother was clearly unwell and was not fit to wait any further having queued up forever. There were nowhere to sit and my mother simply collapsed on their floor in despair. The lady would not even listen to me and just held her hand up and told me to book new tickets. She marked my tickets "17 53" and asked me to go to the ticket office. I find it puzzling that she marked my ticket with the time at that time rather taking into account the fact that I had already been waiting patiently in the queue.

I looked for the person who told me to purchase new tickets, however she was extremely rude and claimed she had no clue when their own ticket office would be opening or whether there would be any seats left for the 18 43 train. I then managed to find the ticket office and stood in the queue in a state of panic to purchase new tickets. Despite the chaos, only one person was working in the ticket office. I managed to obtain new tickets and was told that I must pay 80 euros. No explanation as to why this sum or why I have to pay. I received my new tickets at 18 10 as marked on the receipt. Whilst waiting in the queue, I spoke to three others who were also forced to purchase new tickets despite arriving well in advance. I find this a ploy to make money in a situation where clearly the management is non-existent. Despite my new tickets, I just about made the new train for 18 43. The queue and the security check in was beyond catastrophic and I was distressed for the entire duration. This only demonstrates the mismanagement of Eurostar. Having read some of the reviews online subsequent to my experience, I note that this is a common phenomenon with Eurostar. I find this to be completely unacceptable, irrational and unfair. Rather than offering me a clear and calm explanation, the staff was extremely rude, blunt and unsympathetic. They raised their voice, spoke to me in an evidently angry tone and refused to offer any form of apology or assurance despite seeing that I was distressed and worried. Moreover, I am convinced that Eurostar is making money by targeting vulnerable people in an attempt to generate money.

I have been to many stations and this is one of the very best. It is warm in winter. Its architecture is magnificent. It has an enormous range of shops and eating places. Of course, they are mostly quite expensive but the same is also true of all the less nice stations. Oh, and they also have trains that go to many places including Brussels, Brighton and Bedford.

Each time I come from the Eurostar, and everything is well indicated in St Pancras.
So I order on place pounds and travel tickets.
It is also very easy to join the subway or the King Cross station (over side of the street).
The station is very clean and employees very nice.
I never had delay (lucky me) and the train is really clean.

So, my initial thoughts on the station, staff etc couldn't have been better, however this all changed on our return journey home.
We arrived with plenty of time spare, roughly 45 minutes before our train was due to depart. We got to the gate and saw that the train had been cancelled, no other information given other than cancelled.
Then after asking a few members of staff we were given various different answers to what we were to do/what was happening in regards to getting back home to leeds.
There had been a fire which had disrupted service ( I do understand that this cannot be helped) however this had happened earlier in the afternoon and they still had nothing organised for people.
All the members of staff told us different things to do.
One told us to go to kings cross to be put on a train to Leeds so we walked there waited to be then told that they had no idea why we were sent there as they wont help us.
We walked back to St Pancras to find sea of annoyed passengers all waiting for information that was not being properly communicated at any point.
There was no order, annoyed people, elderly stood for hours, people with young children, people with disabilities all crammed.
Eventually we were told we were to get a train which looking at the sea of people were not all going to get on said train.
Once the gates opened there was a stampede of people pushing running, crushing and knocking eachother.
We had first class tickets and as you can work out, all the train had been declassified..the train was full, people sat on the floor, in the aisles, elderly people couldn't sit down, children, people with disabilities etc who have paid for seats all crammed unsafe on the train.
Once moving the train manager kept people up to date with what was happening which was helpful if you were going anywhere other than leeds which is where we were heading.
So eventually he was asked and he was genuinely helpful and tried to find out for us what our options were as there was no option at this point, no-one had arranged anything.Upon his return he told us that there would be a train we could catch in nottingham but that it was only a 2 carriage train so we may/ may not get on it or it could be extremely full but this train would then take another 3 and a half hours to get to leeds basically our only option.
So we stood from london all the way to Nottingham despite paying for first class and then managed to get a train to leeds which was busy again but as we all had work the following day at 7am, we had to arrange for a family member to drive all the way to Sheffield to come and pick us up as this was the quicker option for us, luckily we were able to.
Very disappointing service. Again I understand the fire could not be helped, but organisation, communication and respect for passengers was more than lacking.
Very disappointing.

Wheelchair Accessible friendly helpful staff in both London and Paris. We purchased 10 trip tickets in London for use in Paris, although you can't go on the Metro underground you can use these tickets on the bus. The staff guided us up to the station using a lift where there was a ramp out for the chair going and arriving in Guard du Nord. 5/5 Great service and great food. Worth paying the extra to use the lounge, we used the lounge in Paris which was excellent.

If my favourite Irish railway station, Hazelhatch, got a Disney film series and it had the Eurostar in it, would it be called "The Eurostar in Ireland." All because there is no eurotunnel to the East wall in Dublin.

Good food and service let down by management. 1 waiter serving half the restaurant. Heating turned off so people dined with coats on. Dust bunnies in the loos. Clearly management trying to maximise profits.

For the last day, you can leave your luggage at the luggage service (6 pounds for 3 hours it seems to me), this will allow you to visit the British museum (huge) at 2 metro stops without bothering with the luggage! To find the luggage service, just follow the small suitcase

International rail link for Eurostar and other trains. If you are traveling to Edinburgh via rail then this is the station. It's same place where Harry Potter train station is shown in movie 9 3\4 always surrounded by tourists taking pics with the trolley half sunk inside the wall as tribute to the movie. It also has souvenir store for harrp Potter fans. Walk right till the gates for entry on the platform this Harry Potter store and trolley is right at the end. Virgin trains for Edinburgh also depart from same station. Trains are lined up just 10 minutes before departure.

Beautiful, modern train station with both national and international railway services, including high speed trains. Open and large so it doesn't get too crowded. Plenty of shops, including the essential M&S, WHSmith and Boots, and free access to toilets. Plenty of places to sit down for a bite as well, and just one escalator away from the Victoria, Piccadilly, Northern, Metropolitan, Circle, and Hammersmith & City lines.
