Crowded and expensive place. Similar to shops on the airport.
Easy security, smooth trip, customer service always top class. Note: for those with a ticket to 'any Belgian station' are being misled if travelling to Brussels airport - you will be charged an extra Eur5.20 per person.
Update: there is a statue of a man & woman underneath the station clock. Take a look at the vignettes round the base. Beautiful London themed artwork you shouldn't miss.
Modern terminal with French passport control in St Pancras
St Pancras is one of my favourite stations to pass through. The large, clean open spaces that constitute much of the station area make changing here much less stressful than the standard station experience. The addition of pianos dotted around the concourse often makes for entertaining listening and adds a very sociable atmosphere to the place.
A lovely station especially in early mornings and evenings when a shimmering sunlight enters through its hazzy windows giving a fresh golden glow to the kissing statue.
St Pancras International remains one of the greatest Victorian buildings in London. It is the key destination for Eurostar and high-speed rail in the UK and also a fantastic retail and hospitality destination.
Near & clean station. Lots of shops to shops including foods, drinks, clothing, accessories, decoration etc. Easy connection with Kings Cross Station, Bus Stops, taxi etc. Wide footpath to walk. Ticket counters have enough staffs and self buy ticket machines are easy to use too. Trains and platforms are good too. Lifts and escalators are available to use. There is toilet facility as well.
very nice station very organized, very efficient and resembe a real international station, it changes station north!
Best coffee (Monmouth) in St Pancras station along with healthy but expensive snacks.
One of the best stations in the UK. Originally built in 1868 to a George Gilbert Scott, William Henry Barlow gothic design and now tastefully converted into a shopping mall within a station. Beautifully done and a pleasure to visit.
Handy to get to, good M&S for snack, good coffee at AMT.
Very nice train station, it was very convenient for me when traveling not very far (like Paris or Brussels distance). The only problem I saw, was the fact that it was so busy.
Very aggressive Eurostar staff. from baggage control to the dock. Rude, stressed, it's a shame to have that last image of London... Very sad. And maybe it would also be wise to provide a smoking area. The rest of the station is beautiful, clean, it is very pleasant to move around the station.
Great railway station mixing old and new architecture
Beautiful and spacious. Love listening to people playing the piano.
Adjacent to King's Cross Station, it is the older wall of St. Panax Station and one of the scenes at the end of the eighth episode of Harry Potter films. If there is an arrangement to go to the British Library, you can't take a look at it. There are also St. Panax Hotel and Cafe on the side. There are cross badges and sculptures on the wall. After entering the station, the car is in the car. The design of the station is quite modern and has a shopping street.
Had horrible delays on Eurostar and the classic tactic of raising prices during booking on website
The Eurostar is great! Wifi on board with lots of cool movies to watch during the trip.
Unmissable stopover in the city of London with a magnificent shopping gallery.
Emblematic station in London ... its architecture is super beautiful.
International station with high speed train services. There s plenty of shops bars and restaurants to while away the time of you get there early or are waiting a connection. And more available outside in between Kings Cross and St Pancras. There s two taxi ranks (one opposite Eurostar through some shops) and one shared with kings cross. There s also easy access to a number of underground lines.
I love this station. You have the rail and the tube. And also the Eurostar. You can get the train in the center of London and leave in the center of Paris! And Brussels! And Amsterdam very soon! Easy access with several tube lines! And it s a gorgeous station! One of my favourites in London
Beautiful station in a convenient location with easy drop off and pick up locations. The Eurostar section, despite bring extremely busy with enormous waits for security, but easy to find and was kept in good condition. When entering the Eurostar waiting area can become crowded and extremely hard to get a seat
I like this station very much. I think it's one of the best
One of the best places to plug in to London when arriving by train. The station is very well connected to anywhere in London by the Underground and the British Library is next door :-)
Nice station easy to navigate. Smooth transition through the areas.
Wifi is barely working in the train, no shops past security
Beautiful place!!! Everything works like all other London sights.
Went on the Eurostar , when arriving there was a large queue , went down the line and asked what to do to member of staff , he told me to work my way down the line and find the end of the queue that related to my time slot, after a hour I managed to work my way through the long line and then to checking in (which had expired, but due to large queues the train was held back for half an hour ) and then security and passport control, there was a chaos and no exact lines for passports it was just members of staff that kept shouting out Eu passports can go to the fast track passport screens , all all times staff was polite and helpful , but if you travel on Eurostar you need to give your self at least 1.5hrs
After strict passport control we end up in this overcrowded, too warm hall where there are hardly any seats or other facilities. Everything focused on efficiency, not on comfort for travelers.
George Gilbert Scott's masterpiece. A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
don't bother trying to ring the ticket office. just tried 4 times and each time as soon as it was answered they put the phone down on me without even saying anything!
Awful service!
Nice station. Already been different. Sometimes busy and too few seats in Eurostar waiting area.
Excellent experience loved the ride to Paris on Eurostar
Great guard with all necessary amenities EXCEPT heating and seating.
This international railway is well connected for train, tube and airport! It could be useful to have some direction posters at the main entrances to easily find a way to navigate
From a piano to play, the kissing statue, a barrage of shops and restaurants; this station has everything.
Beautiful train station. Toilets are free to use. Several local eateries to catch a bite before catching the train.
SEEING THE, 'EUROSTAR' HIGH SPEED RAIL WAS EXCITING. LAST MINUTE TICKETS ARE EXPENSIVE. KINGS CROSS STATION IS EMACULANT. THE ARCHITECTURE IS JUST AMAZING. UPON LEAVING THE STATION ON THE KINGS CROSS SIDE, YOU'LL FIND OTHER MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION TO CONTINUE YOUR JOURNEY.
After a short time,
It's a London-like look.
It is a train station with beautiful harmony between old and new.
Very nice station with the possibility of taking care of the many stores in the event of long connections. On the other hand, beware of the passage of the gantries at the exit of the train which can prove to be complicated when transporting 2 suitcases
A beautiful station that has plenty to keep you busy when inevitably waiting for that delayed train
Usually a great experience but not today. Missed the 30 minutes check in window by 5 minutes due to heavy traffic. The security check was very quiet and no queue at all. But staff felt like a power trip and decided it was too late to go through anymore. Delaying me for an hour and having to rebook two trains. Thanks eurostar for being a robot.
Lovely - but loses a star for the awful lovers statue
Beautiful London station, from here the euroestar to Paris.
Beautiful building for sure! Well worth a visit and a stroll in case you are in the area, regardless of how you travel.
A nice, well laid out station, as a Eurostar station in the UK, its a nice arrival for passengers from the continent...
No trains to Stansted at very early hours in the night, so you have to take a bus. In general I've always had a pleasant experience, but this it's quite annoying.
Happy travelling everyone!
Very nice station, good choices for food also at the waiting area, the lines were long but moved fast.
Really lovely station. Restaurants and stores are nice, but pricey
very good for travel between Europe countries but some time its crowded .
Very organized, clean and tidy... A few shops inside, hotel chocolate and the Harry Potter shop... Costa and other Coffee outlets... A pandora jewelry shop... What surprised me was that there wasn't a gift shop there... I would think they would make a lot of money from selling London merchandise inside kings cross... Odd....
Travel from St. Pancras International to Nottingham Midland Mainline Station.
The line is electrified at the St. Pancras International Station but train journeys to Nottingham operate diesal trains only.
(ps. This is because this part of the railway line is still awaiting electrification.)
It's a good station with enough to pass the time waiting for trains
Nice station where you can hang out for a long time. The pianos provide a lot of atmosphere!
This is probably the most dramatic of all the terminal stations in London. The roof is a single structure held up just by the walls on either side, no columns in the middle! 150 years old, and still standing. Building apart, you can reach more destinations than any other station in London, having international services to Paris, Bruxelles and Amsterdam; fast services into Kent; connections to Gatwick and Luton airports and other destinations in Sussex, Surrey, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire; and trains North to cities such as Nottingham and Sheffield.
Eurostar is probably the worst traveling experience. Not only those idiots managed to replace old trains with newer ones that offer less comfort, less space and terrible design. Eurostar now has a new scam in place. If you arrive less than More
From here Eurostar made a day trip to Paris. There was a station piano that I saw at BSNHK.
Great architecture, easy access, easy to follow signs. Staff is helpful. Security is fairly well done.
The hub of international and national departures and arrivals, filled with designer and food stores great for tourists.
Magnificent station with its beautiful shops and especially the signs are clear and precise.
St. Pancras is an iconic landmark in the heart of London.
My personal score is 10/10.
My god it has had one hell of a makeover! Now it's a massive mall that gets visited by trains - indispensable if you're on the south east coast & want a high speed train. Think I liked the old one better
Super gorgeous, easy to get around. Great food and shopping
From Paris Gare Du Nord train station by Eurostar to UK will arrive at this St Pancras International.
Immigration border located at Paris - 2nd floor of Gare Du Nord, so upon arrival St Pancras International no need to pass immigration check counter again.
A great place to catch the train from. Connections from St Pancras through to mainland Europe provide a really affordable and accessible mode of transport. The station has a wide selection of restaurants and bars to be able to grab a bite to eat or a few drinks before setting off on an adventure. Overall a really great place to start off a journey.
The train station is very big, it takes time to get around. There are many shops to shop for souvenirs. It is faster to take your ticket at an automatic terminal than at a ticket office.
I found this photo when looking at some from several years ago. I had come back from Antwerp, one of Europe's greatest stations, and the suddenly you realise that St Pancras is probably the greatest.
Have been using the station regularly for over 2 years and have never had an issue. It's a wonderful, clean station with great facilities, shops and restaurants.
