I appreciate the honesty of the company. Its hard to find a company that is willing to come out to your home and tell you that you really do not need work done. Would recommend them to anyone!

I met with Jacob due to a concern of water coming in under my floorboards. He was able to explain to me what the problem was quickly, and also recommended that I get a different type of work done instead of trying to sell me on something that I didn't need to make a profit. Super honest, just like the other comments say. Also Cricket (I might be mispelling that), took a lot of additional time with me on the phone to discuss my issue and was very professional and detail-oriented.

"Updated" - Called to schedule an inspection, and was initially turned away due to high demand. The owner called me back personally and referred me to another company known to do quality work on pier and beam homes. I was appreciative of the time, call back, and reference to another company who could help with my foundation repair needs. Great customer service and very professional!

I used this company after a very good friend of mine referred me to them for my mother s home in the Heights. She had giving me the name of the company and their location a few weeks prior. This is the company that I thought she had used because of the similarities between when I was trying to find the business card and ended up doing a Google search. They are located in the same vicinity and I had remembered her telling me about the two brothers that have been with the company for almost 30 years now. I wish now that I had waited on her return back from vacation or at this point I had just disturbed her for a few minutes. This has been my worst nightmare ever. The misrepresentation of another company has to be illegal under the Texas State laws and regulations on companies that are in businesses that are allowed to do such critical work on the State of Texas's citizen s property. My mother s beautiful historic home has been destroyed and I feel totally responsible for the irreversible damage that has been caused by these people who had assured me that they had been in the Montrose Museum area for 30 years. He was supposedly one of their first Project Managers and his brother was the Lead Foreman who had been with the company for almost 30 years now. I was promised they were going to schedule the work for this project on the availability of his brother s crew and he oversees that crew s projects from beginning to end. The only truth of the entire conversation
was that he and his brother were the ones that arrived on time to do the project. This entire project has been a complete disaster and this company is not honest about anything they say or do. The brothers have not been with this company for 30 years but they did open this company about 13 years ago in Corpus Christi where they are in a lot of trouble for the same types of scams they are doing here in our town for the past 5 years. This is not a disgruntled client that s going to eventually go away or you and your brother are going to run away from this time. We are going to expose you both and plead to the mercy of the court for retribution not just for my mother but the countless others here in HTX and in Corpus Christi that have been wronged by your unjust negligence and manipulating scams to the property owners who had trusted your snake oil salesman s pitch.

First time customer, I was very satisfied about the quality of the work, competencies, and customer service during the whole process. I would definitively recommend them for any foundation works you may have.

A month and a half after buying a new home torrential rains hit for more than two months. Come to find out the sun porch addition was not built to match the rest of the house. All that rain caused the sun porch's foundation to shift away from the house. Talk about a nightmare for first time homeowners. Two Brothers stabilized the foundation and lifted a portion of it using 14 piers.

It was a terrific experience. Aaron and Jacob (the two brothers) are top-notch. They were professional, competent, fair, personable, respectful, etc. The initial inspection was free and the bid was more than reasonable. There's a ton of contractors out there who use shady practices. Two Brothers ain't one of 'em. As for the guys who did the actual work, my only mild complaint is they consistently ran a little behind schedule. But that's just because they were driving all the way to the other side of Houston. Hard to blame 'em. The guys worked hard, answered my questions, did quality work, and left the job site in good shape. What I'm trying to say is this: I'm a bit of a curmudgeon by nature, but I highly recommend Two Brothers Foundation Repair.

I had this company come out to 2 different houses to provide an assessment - 1 they said needed work and another that didn't. To be honest, the second house already had foundation work done so it was just a check on their ethics. They were also honest enough to tell me the work didn't need to be done immediately so I waited another year until timing worked better for me. Aaron was easy to talk with to understand the work being performed and why it was needed. And his "Two Brother Foundation, this is Aaron" is unmistakable - haha. 10/10 would use them again but hope I don't need to.

Two Brothers Were Terrific

Walking into my daughter s bedroom felt like entering a funhouse at an amusement park. That s how slanted it was. Windows and the door didn t close. Until Two Brothers set me straight, I lived in a crooked little house. One could see it leaning from the street. Even bricks were popping out. And a brick wall actually moved when pushed! Now everything closes smoothly and the floor is level again. Two Brothers did a fabulous thorough job at a very reasonable cost.

My foundation shifted due to the drought of 2011. In 2013 Olshan was working next door. I invited their guy over and he said, without even measuring, that raising my foundation would cost around $25,000! See the direction that crack runs? That means you have serious problems. Gulp! My serious problems remained static until Harvey came along. We flooded and couldn t fix our floors and walls until we repaired our foundation. Expecting the worst, I commissioned five bids from highly rated companies on Angie s list. Bids ranged from $3660 to $14,400.
Aaron Lipman, one of the two brothers, presented the most compelling, professional, and understandable solution. He s a class act. Aaron said only the left corner of my house was crooked. The rest was OK. Another contractor tried convincing me the entire house needed to be jacked up. Another wanted to install piers under my living room. Aaron said that was unnecessary since the problem was on the side of our home, not in the middle. He clearly explained why putting in those extra piers could cause new problems.
Our slanted bedroom was off center by five inches. Aaron sketched where the piers would go. He d begin at the front door and then head east, turn the corner, and then jack up the entire east side. The work was fascinating and proceeded surprisingly quickly and professionally. When they hit a snag with my pool equipment, they just tunneled beneath it. What was initially mysterious and bewildering became understandable as I watched the piers disappear into the mucky clay soil. They applied up to 8,000 pounds of force per square inch ensuring the piers were tight. Then they placed hydraulic jacks on top of a flat cement cap placed on the last pier. Piers are made from cement, cylindrical, and close to a foot long. They are stacked until the column of piers reaches the surface and will no longer move downwards. Installing 14-16 cylindrical piers is common. Since the piers had nowhere to go, the house inched upwards. Inside it felt like quick earthquake tremors.
Aaron s team was very professional, efficient, and neat. Guillermo, the supervisor, was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Aaron stopped by daily. He has an eclectic background. His parents are classical musicians who also own Eagle Foundation Repair in Corpus Christi, TX. That s where Aaron learned the business. He also worked for a talent agency in Hollywood and on Wall Street. When he tired of the corporate world, he leveraged what he learned from his parents foundation business and set up shop in Houston.
I enthusiastically recommend Two Brothers. They are a small but highly experienced family run business. Hence customers receive personalized service from the owners. Repairing your foundation is a big investment. By putting your repairs in the capable hands of Two Brothers, things will definitely straighten out.

I called them this morning on my father's pier and beam house and they said they would have to charge me a trip charge and also a charge to crawl under the house for an estimate.

Was looking for a foundation consultation/inspection for the house I"m buying because my general house inspector recommended I get the foundation checked because there might be an issued. Aaron reassured me the building is in good condition and gave me recommendations to upkeep the property I went ahead with the deal I'm now closing by the end of this month. Really reliable and assuring company, they go out of their way to help. Their ratings speak for it self. 5 star service.

Aaron came out and took a look at my townhome that has been sagging to one side. I was pretty worried that after Harvey it had gotten worse and I was going to need some major repairs on my home. He pointed out some of the cracks I had seen, plus a few others I had missed.

He tested the elevation all around the ground floor with his instrument and then told me that while he could potentially justify working on the slab, he wouldn't do it, himself, unless things got worse. He told me to keep an eye on the cracks and if things worsened to give him a call, but that the current deviation of roughly an inch across the house wasn't enough to warrant spending thousands of dollars. Obviously this was good to hear, and I appreciated the frankness in addition to the clear explanation. I'm sure it'd be easy for him to be alarmist or insist I needed work to be done.

I definitely recommend Two Brothers based on my experience, and if my house starts to look worse in the next 6 months I'll call them back out to reevaluate at that time.

After getting quotes from several foundation companies, his was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. It was actually a reasonable price considering the work that had to be done. To his credit, he was very patient with me as we worked through my schedule. He started on time and finished on time. His workers worked very hard every day they were there, I was impressed. I rarely write reviews, but I was really impressed by Aaron s services and his honesty! We recently moved into a 1973 flip house in Sugar Land. We quickly realized our house inspector missed a lot of issues. We also started to notice cracks appearing throughout the house on sheetrock, fireplace, ceilings. We suspected that inspector could ve missed some foundation problems, and decided to call a foundation specialist. Aaron was very courteous and easy to deal with. After examining the house and taking elevation readings, he told me we don t need any work done! He pointed out few minor issues, but nothing worth worrying about. I am happy we don t need any work done, and I appreciated how straightforward and honest Aaron was. I would like to recommend him and his company to everyone.

I bought an older hole and had it tunneled to replace the cast iron plumbing. I noticed some concerns after the recent heavy rains, as well as a couple cracks on the side of the home, so I had them come out to make sure everything was okay. They were out here quick, very knowledgeable and helpful and answered all my questions. Luckily no concerns right now, but just areas to monitor.

We had some brick cracks in the exterior corner of the house. My wife had called two big name foundation repair companies and they had come out and recommended 24+ piers on the outside and interior which meant ripping out the wood floors inside and about 20K total cost.
I called Two Brothers Foundation Repair and Jacob came out to look at my home. He was punctual and took measurements outside and inside of our house. Based on his measurement/inspection Jacob concluded that, the readings do not warrant any foundation repair for our house since some settlement is normal and especially since we do not have any cracks inside or any issues with the doors. An engineer friend, who is also a home builder, came out to look at the foundation before Jacob s visit and came to the same conclusion. Both also noted that I should consider putting drainage on the side of the house.
What a relief and kudos to Jacob for being honest. Thank you Jacob and Two Brothers Foundation, refreshing to see honesty in this day and age, keep up the great work.

My parents used Two Brothers Foundation to repair the foundation of their house. They were very nice, professional, and did a great job. Aaron was very patient explaining all the questions we had. He had my Husband walk with him around the house and pointed out anything that We needed to monitor. Trust and give them a call. I did for my home. Aaron - one of the Two Brothers himself came over, took measurements and explained the process for fixing my foundation issues. Aaron is very knowledgeable, professional and answered my questions patiently. Price was quoted immediately, and it ended up being the same price when job completed. Team is very hard working and took care of my home like they were fixing one of their own home. There is lot of digging involved but the team cleans up well. They were done in two days. They only needed to come into the house near the end to do the final leveling. Anyone who came in the house was masked and very helpful. Guillermo explained everything as it was happening so there were no surprises. The lifetime warranty is going to be immensely helpful if we ever sell the house.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this company if you need - or you think you might need - any work on foundation repair. Aaron has been professional and responsive, and kindly agreed to perform the inspection even though he suspected that our house probably does not need foundation repair at this time. We are planning on remodeling our home and it was suggested by our contractor to have our foundation looked at before we started. I contacted Two Brothers to come by and inspect our foundation. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and honesty because no repair was needed at this time. These guys knew their stuff. I sought a second opinion after another company came in, asked no questions about the history of the house or its foundation, and was ready to wrap the entire house as part of the leveling process. Two Brothers came and asked questions about the foundation, the history of the house, and walked me through the different approaches to repairing different types of leveling issues, especially with older homes that were built upon sturdier slabs like ours. They easily could have up sold us on needing more work done, like the other company, but they approached the job with honesty and I think integrity by telling what we needed and didn t need. For that, I am thankful and appreciative and recommend them to anyone looking to get foundation work done.

And sure enough Jacob proved that what they provide is professional and honest opinions if work is needed or not. So.... It's time to get my foundation repaired. I invited five different contractors to do assessments and make a bid.
The first two large and well known companies Ace and Du West claimed that the whole foundation was sinking in the front and advised 16 piers f o r $8,700.00 both of them almost identical in assessment and cost. But Ace did give $500 discount because they are endorsed by a baseball player. Meeting time over an hour.
Next up was Two Brothers. Their rep was on time and brief. He found that only one side of the house was in need of repair, gave a much lower bid and left me confident and relieved that their bid was correct. I hired them and they came out the next day. It only took the day to complete the work and when they were finished I couldn't even tell they had been there. Cracks on the interior drywall were gone and all the doors closed and latched properly. Their men even took care to replace my shrubs and plants that had been in the way.
One other contractor had a slightly similar price but I didn't much care for the hard sell routne and all tech talk.
If you find yourself in a similar situation, you can avoid all the hassle, do yourself a favor and talk to the Brothers first.

Aaron and his team just completed the works on our foundation and did a great job. As the house had continue to move between the date of the quotation and the start of works we decided to add some piles and they proved both very accommodating and really not greedy. Plus the works affected a water sewer pipe and they went great way solving the problem in spite of having to deal with multiple water accidents. Finally they patched our terrasse with the same type of pebbles washed concrete we had so we only need a coat of paint. Great works and great after service. We recommand two brothers although I hope that thanks to them I will never have to call them again

I consider myself handy and a DIY'er but foundation issues are a bit out of my league. I rarely post reviews and like many new homeowners, I am skeptical about free "estimates". However, after some gentle nagging from my wife and putting it off time and time again I called Two Brothers Foundation Repair to inspect my home in west Houston. I was concerned with some possible foundation problems. There were some signs of an issue inside the house on a wall and some cracks on my back patio (concrete) as well as the front walkway so I wanted to make sure nothing major was wrong. They put me at ease. They explained that there was "normal settlement" occurring and that putting in piers or doing major work was not necessary at this time. Thank you for your honesty and professionalism. I also recommended them to my parents in Bellaire TX because I noticed some of the same issues at their house. Better safe than sorry.

I have used Two Brothers Foundation Repair to assess multiple properties. I appreciate their appointment promptness and thoroughness of the assessment. They explained to me what they look for visually and also explained the measurement process and what that entails. The drawings are very precise and easy to understand. This company was the first one I called for an estimate on potential slab foundation repairs since on of my indoor wall showed a long thin crack. I must first applaud the lady answering the phone, "Cricket" very charming attentive and personable. Then Jacob Lipman, one of the Two Brothers himself showed up at the door. He took some measurements then to my relief told me there was no need for his services, that the crack was just cosmetic, and the variant was only a quarter inch. Trying to remedy to this could create more problem. Now I know I can trust this company, and should I never need foundation work or repairs I will definitely hire them. I wanted to share this with the Google world out there. Honest businesses should be rewarded.

Aaron (Two Brothers owner) came out to measure our foundation after we have had some wall cracking concerns within the building. He took plenty of time to answer all of my questions, explain his process, what his findings meant, and address all of our options moving forward. Even though he did find a few minor issues, he recommended monitoring them at this point, and told me that at this juncture he does not recommend any repair work. How refreshing to have an up front and honest opinion, where work is not quoted just for the sake of it. We will definitely have him back for any future concerns, and would recommend him for a fair, honest take on your foundation concerns.

Noticed cracks in kitchen tile in our home. We recently moved into this house that was built in 2006. I met Aaron when he was repairing our neighbors home where we previously lived in Kingwood. Aaron came over, walked the property, did inside measurements, and thankfully we don t have a foundation issue. I greatly appreciated his promptness, expertise and advise moving forward. Long story short, three years ago an inspector told me my house has foundation issue. We found a foundation company and got a quote from them. They told us they will put down a couple of piers for 5k. The crack on the foundation looks less than 1/6", and we never had issues with windows or doors, so we decided to have a second opinion.
