TSC>Direct Review

TSC processed my claim in a matter of days. No problems at all.

I wanted to get insured by them and told them that my father will be added to the plan later on when he gets his license, however they wanted my father to be added into the insurance or else they can't insure me. So much of a dumb logic for a insurance company to use.

Advised my dad on signing up with them. They offered him half the rate geico was offering. He forgot to mention my out of state lil sis, once they found out they sent him a cancellation notice and from what was told to him is even if he was to provide acceptable proof such as class registration etc...the decision was final.
On that note the rate is indeed competitive but it seems like they would drop you for anything even if you were into a car accident and it wasn't your fault. I think their ideal group of clientele that only pays their premium and give them the least amount of work.

Listen to other people: do not waste your time! They will ask for so much information and maybe the last time you had a coffee! I sent all infos and after 3 emails and a lot of phone calls, they said they can't do it because I do not have 18 consecutive months of insurance in New York! You should have start with that before wasting my time providing documents!!
They even want to know the address of the company financing your car ! Very bad company...the star is only because you can't do it another way but my real rate for them is ZERO! I also confirm that good reviews are fake!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.... i was with state farm for 35 yrs. excellent record. I made the mistake of going to TSC for better rate. They cancelled my policy after one year because i have a vision issue and read my odometer wrong. THEY ARE A LOW CALIBER INSURANCE AT BEST . Rate hikes without warning as well. Next step attorney general.

I never write reviews, but I had to for this company. The absolute worst company. Continuously cancelled my insurance for no real reason, called me every other day asking the same information over and over again. They ask personal questions that NO insurance company has ever asked or should ask. Even when I had to cancel my policy with them, they made it difficult. If you want to deal with them, have high dosage of Ibuprofen ready. I suggest otherwise.

My agent Olivia worked with me to get the best rate for my vehicle and she had patience with me so I am glad I changed my insurance and signed up with them

I have been with TSC for 6 years this past month September, my vehicle was hit while parked when I visited a friend. I must say I have received more grief from what was supposed to be my insurance company then anything else. The accident occurred 9-12-15, I am still without a car because they are withholding payment, coming up with all sorts of weird requests for paperwork. Might I mention I am now up to $500+ and counting in out of pocket rental fees because they have failed to pay the shop ,which their own adjuster visited and decided how much the work being done would cost. I call and phone calls are not quickly returned. The customer service staff with the exception of one young man is absolutely disgusting and rude. Oh and I can include they sent me a notice of non-renewal, very ironic. They had the time to draft and send out a non-renewal letter but no time to settle my claim. I would not recommend this company, they do have decent rates, which will go up if the wind blows on your car too hard.

I Had a home owners claim a few years ago, tsc took care of the claim very professionally. Now I just bundled my car insurance with them. Thanks Tsc you're the best.

Based on there rates they re good but I m giving it one star because of the underwriting team! Very annoying and will change your monthly payment whenever they feel like it. They ask for so much information and details it s ridiculous. Once you tell them too much information you can t back track or they ll need a notarized letter. I will be going back to Allstate.

I was staying with Geico for years. After this company offered me $80 annual savings, I was greedy enough to try. Once the coverage was obtained I started to receive lots of addition paperwork . Because I did not watch my mail regularly I missed one of their additional requests for phone bill. As a result my policy was cancelled, and I only learned about it when I found refund check for my policy in the mail. I called customer service and they advised me to start paperwork process from the beginning (after already filling so many forms). As a result the saving costed me $300 in state fees, because I did not have coverage for one month. If you have a secretary to process their never ending additional paperwork requests and want to save $100 annually comparing to major companies, then go for it. I called Geico and they gladly reinstated my policy and tenure after 3 month of lapse. No questions asked and NO PAPERWORK.

While tsc had great rates, they will drop you if you fill out the annual form and your milage on your car is over 15 Grand over last year's.
MEANWHILE, IF YOU DO NOT FILL OUT THE FORM, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO KEEP YOUR INSURANCE ACTIVE WITHOUT REPERCUSSIONS! They dropped me for driving more than you tell them. I don't keep track of my milage. When I asked them why it is that if you don't fill it out, they don't cancel your policy and they couldn't give me an answer.

Don't let them fool you by calling you their "family" or "friend"

Nothing but bad things to say because they did not want to insure us. After applying on a Sunday and not hearing back from them I called them on Tuesday to ask what is going on. They said they received my application but cannot insure me because i drive 9 miles to work every day and that's too many miles. Are they serious? zero customer service since no one was planning to call me back and 9 miles is considered to many miles. Unreal..never again

I`ve never heard of this, but I did all the work applying for insurance. I got a great quote and was told there would be a call from someone. Well that never happened. I again filled out another free quote the next day and was told the same thing. I got the call, I said great. I was then asked a few questions and told they could not give me insurance. Reason, I DID NOT DRIVE ENOUGH. Please, someone tell me the reasoning behind this!!!!!

TSC is simply the best. I have been with them for over 15 years. While we were at the dealership leasing our new car they were quick and responsive to get us the best coverage at the best price. The customer service is outstanding. Highly recommend checking them out if you need to insure your car.

I received a notice,that my auto insurance would not be renewed due to a mileage change.I called a company,spoke to a customer service.That agent didn't know what to say,told me he will call back .Never did.On my renewal was a question 'how many miles you will make a year?" I put about 8000 miles.Maybe I calculated wrong,I don't know.I retired from my job, only using my car to go shopping. .Nobody would even explain to me or correct my mistake in calculation.They just said "look for another insurance !" I found another one with no problem and even chipper !
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE EVEN TO MY ENEMIES !!!!!

I recently replaced a cracked windshield Thank Goodness I had TSC direct glass insurance. I contacted the insurance of my windshield and they gave me a glass company that came out to me and did the repair at my location. Thank you TSC direct.

I just switched to TSC Direct from Gieco. I like that the policy is for a year and not 6 months. Gives me less to think about for a whole year. And for using auto pay which also gives me less to think about TSC gives $4 off for making sure my bill is paid easier

I applied to this insurance company a week ago, so after l submitted my online application they gave me the result soon after l finished it, and honestly I thought they would accept it and base on my driving record with not issue and my clean history for more than 10 years, l said to myself, this is a piece of cake, so when they gave me the quota l was going to pay about 106 dollars which was fair enough, but they never called me, well in my my mind it was revolving the idea that maybe because my car is a 2002 model, they rejected me, but still they should have give me a courtesy call or email, but none of that happened, so i decided to call TSC DIRECT, well the girl who talked to me on the phone after she checked my information and reviewed my application, told me that i did not qualify base on my location, then I ask her, but why my location, and what happen with it, so she just limit herself to reject it base on my location. THAT IS SO RIDICULOUS, how can a company reject my application base on my location when my driving record is clean, and i have been driving for about 6 years in NY. THIS A TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION BASE ON YOUR GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION UNACCEPTABLE.

Their price is great that's why 2 stars.. service is horrible, they want insurance policy information about other people living in the house even if you are renting, once you provide that they want driving license information of those people who are not their customers, which is clearly pointless.... very shady...why would you want other people license information even after I provided their insurance information..some of the customer service representatives on phone is extremely rude too.. I'm already looking for other options..

Car was damaged in Shopping center parking lot (Target) on passenger side . It was sideswiped while I was in store. Called TSC & reported incident, who in turn sent inspector to body shop. Claim was settled & car repaired. Great job TSC.

It's the terrible insurance company ever..please don't hesitate to leave this insurance and be aware that your coverage won't protect you at all. At first your will be tempted if their premium is relatively cheaper, but think about their customer service and procedures. My vehicle was crashed and total loss so my wife and two kids were so urgently waiting for help, so we contacted the insurance company but they did not answer anything and did not have any service provided for customer like emergency road assistance or towing and they do not answer your call until their work hours 9 am.

Worse thing is that their answer is not professional and they never guide you whatever you do. For example, my vehicle was towed by my request after calling towing company and it's pulled over to auto shop that I used to use, but claim department guy Jason said they don't pay anything about inspection cost while mechanic was taking a look to see if it's possible to repair. So that mechanic is charging me about extra cost($500-$700) to inspect the vehicle and mechanic said it's the first time that insurance company did not pay and charge it to the customer for his 20 years experience.

Also, worst thing is they never guided me to do correct thing when I had an accident. For example, I had a Texas title because I moved from TX long time ago, and they refused the Texas title and asked me to go to DMV to change to NY title, it was supposed to be informed before waiting for a long time about 1 month, and mechanic said it's also so rare case because most of the insurance companies handle with other state's title without asking any change and extra effort at all.

One more worst thing is they kept charging me insurance premium even after pulling my vehicle and did not tell me anything about it, and I recently found my money was taken out to them even without vehicle..
And finally they said I should go to DMV to avoid the insurance premium and it's not related to title issue that they asked earlier. They could've gotten my money every month without the vehicle until I find - what an easy money!

Strongly recommend you, if you have the junk car and if it's okay to be not protected by the insurance and it's just to have the mandatory insurance, it's okay, but if you think to make a claim or be protected by this insurance company, don't be convinced by their a bit relatively cheaper premium, instead I would go to get GEICO / STATEFARM / ALLSTATE, you will realized when the time comes after accident...

Do not waste your time with this fake insurance company! I had home owners insurance with this company for many years only to be canceled after my first claim. I then decided to give them another try as they reached out to me for car insurance. And sure enough, Once again, my policy was canceled a month later. I had insurance with Nation Wide and I wasn t looking to switch I was happy with Nation Wide. I only switched because I was solicited by one of their sales people and the offer was too good to pass up. It was too good to be true!! DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!

This is the hardest insurance to get in the world. If you ever had any kind of record of anything, even something you did not do, then don t even try they will deny you. I tried for a year getting insured with them and every time it s a different excuse as to why they can t insure me. I really don t understand how they are in business if they literally deny everyone. Anyone I told about this insurance has tried and has been denied. They re a waste of time, please do yourself the favor and don t try getting insured with them.

Horrible !!!!! I was with them for less then a month or so and get a call saying your insurances had been cancelled .. why? Cause I didn't fill out a form that was supposed to be filled out when I got insurance with them .. they said well you can fill it out online .. I tried 3 time then had to go to the branch .. which isn't close for them To tell me " yeah we can't reinstate you sorry" . HORRIBLE COMPANY !!!! I bet they get the employees they have to give them 5 star ratings

After 20 years of being with this company, they made up a lie that I left this country for 6 weeks when I really left for 2, They did this so they could take me out of my insurance plan that I ve been with for so long. BE CAREFUL if your thinking about joining this company they would rather kick a long time member out than praise them for their loyalty and safe driving. When you have a problem they don t solve it, the customer service team is RUDE , The manager is RUDE, everyone here is unprofessional and simply in it for money . PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME , too many hidden fees, lies and rudeness. What ever happened to the customers always right. You d be much better off being insured by another company!

I've been with this company for a long time, many years, and i stick with them because I've found them to be above board, and trustworthy.

I was extremely satisfied with service after second contact. I have had interaction with Candice twice over two separate issues and if it were not for representatives like her who truly takes the customer's needs and satisfaction, I would not have such good things to say. The 1st rep actually did not even make a notation of the problem and just yessed me to death, but not Candice, I even received follow up calls to assure me the situation was taken care of and very quickly. I commend Candice.

My first time putting in a claim so I was not sure how long or how much time it will take. Talk to TSC on a Thursday by next Monday the Adjuster came to see my truck took the pictures and information, in less than a week my claim was approved. Excellent job.

Just a great, no nonsense insurance company. What they save in advertising, they give to their customers. They are very attentive to the details of their policy holder's needs.

This company accepted my application and insured me for one month. I explained that I was commuting to Huntington last year and during this new school year I was commuting to Medford. They never explained that would need current proof of mileage, and I sent them a copy of my most recent inspection. However, they want me to produce proof of mileage from a time frame directly before or after this inspection, and I had no service done at that time. They will not enable me to provide proof of current mileage as I have only been working in Medford for 7 months. They cancelled my insurance due to excessive mileage since I provided proof that 6 to 12 months ago I was commuting to Huntington. A very poor experience.

As a retired insurance broker, I must commend their application process and especially Kim who was professional, courteous, and cordial.

After giving me insurance they ended up dropping me 5 months later for no reason what s so ever. I contacted them to get a reason why they dropped me and they couldn t explain a reason why. This company will take your money and when is time to renew with no claim and no reason why they ll just deny you. Stay away from this company.

This place is BS. Just because there are family living in my house and one of them got into a car accident years ago. That reflects me getting insurance with them. Oh! that person they are talking about is disable and cant even drive her own car but that doesn't matter.

I just changed my insurance from Liberty Mutual to TSC insurance It was great experience I m saving monthly $250 dollars Liberty Mutual it was over price I m glad I found this company and my Representative she was a great lady well educated and help me to save, I m definitely recommend this company

Terrible terrible experience. I would never recommend anyone going with these frauds. Gave me a quote of $130 a month for my car and I went through the entire process of getting pictures taken of my car by specific places and sending them all of these documents just to get the "final paperwork" saying it will be over $230 a month. Plus the reps rarely called back when I left messages and this whole process took close to a month. Absolutely disgusting
