I've have never had a bad experience in dealing with the customer service representatives here. They are patient, knowledgeable, and more then anxious to help me with a problem or to take a payment. More companies should take a tip from the way these guys hire the right workers for the right job.

TSC is by far the most affordable insurance that I've ever had. The service is outstanding. My car was stolen a few months back and TSC processed my claim without much trouble.
Had 3 claims with this company. 1-my vehicle was hit while parked. Was handled seamlessly. 2- tree branch fell on my car overnight. Was handled seamlessly. 3- vehicle was hit by another vehicle in traffic. Handled seamlessy.

I have TSC Direct as my car insurance company for more than 10 years! I am extremely satisfied with both the customer service and claims department at TSC. They deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner, patiently listening to all questions asked. I would recommend this car insurance to friends and family!
just as I thought, TSC is just a waste of time and money. They cancelled me after a month claiming excessive mileage to my work, salesman asked me how many times I go work and I said four, 25 miles one way. In fact I only go there twice a week or even once so I've got it corrected with customer service. Now they claim its too many miles. Don't give them business, they are doing it with many people as you can see reviews below. When I called and asked about it customer service was pushy to recommend another company for me so I suspect they are getting kickbacks from them and are happy to find new morons. Watch out for that snake Chris Ricco, he will pull you down the mud slowly
They claim they must adhere to some standards so they can provide low premiums, I'll tell you something TSC, your standards haven't changed in 5 weeks I'm with you, NO NO NO. You're just purposely scam people.

I join this ins company a yrs1/2 and it was close to my renewing my insurance. I got the application they send you to Renew my insurance i fill it out and send it to them. When I got a letter in the Mail stating that because insufficient mileage on my car meaning that I use my car less this yrs then the previous year. That my ins was canceled. I been out sick and had surgery. And was unable to drive my vehicle.I never heard of such ridiculous and absurd reason to cancel your insurance. For your own sake don't use this insurance it's the worst insurance I ever had. I had GEICO but being that A friend of mine referred me to this ins company and the price was good I decided to go with them. Biggest mistake i made. And don't even think about bargaining with them because they don't want to hear it. Once they see they not making a profit with you they find any excuse to turn you down . I have an excellent record and with the job I have I better have a great record. I was with GEICO for 12 years so I decided to go back to GEICO and they will gladly to except me back again.l have never hear of such ridiculous rules. They order be happy that I have my car parked and not risking myself or someone else getting into a collision. Ins shopper keep ur Open with this ins company. I never take the time out to write a review but I m not letting this one go This TSC Direct car Insurance Company is bogus, deceiving, and fraudulent I ve been driving for 40 years with a CDL license never had any moving violations, nor any accidents and I ve worked for new York city for 25 years like most of us we all want to save some money I (had) an insurance company that I was with for many years .And like An idiot I joined the TSC company to find out I m Being Dropped Of my policy because of (insufficient driving). They didn t tell me about this nonsense policy they have from the beginning and they don t have anything in writing Now I have to pay double of what I was paying before Because I lost my existing policy Do I need to say more? Our money is good anywhere
Your garbage company cut my coverage after 3 months because I drive to work once a month and to top it off you didn't report to LexisNexis that I was insured by your company so it looks like there is a lapse of coverage on my report. So now I am being quoted double the price I was paying before. Terrible business practices. Cut rate insurance gets you cut rate service. I can only imagine what would happen if I had to file a claim with your company. I rather pay more money than deal with this nonsense. 0 stars.
As soon as I switched to TSC Direct, I think it was a day after I signed the paperwork, my windshield got cracked. And the crack got worst because of the cold. It was one of those unfortunate event and I had it replaced and TSC covered it.
The representative, Tiffany, was nothing but helpful and extremely friendly. After advising her that I had been in the insurance industry which included personal auto sales, she remained very professional and respectful. It was a pleasure doing business with her.

If i could put a zero i would! Because you actually DRIVE the car you re insuring they have a clause that states you can t even though they have no proof of mileage! Then when they question your residency because you re originally from another state and may travel there once or twice a week DRIVING the car you paid for they question your residency so they DROP you without PROOF! After they ve cancelled your prior policy and have taken your money!! Policies may be cheap but not worth the stress for a policy i May or may not ever use!
This company sends letters to customers containing false contact information. Three months into coverage, they write asking for documentation of things they secured during the credit check. One cannot reach them by phone through ANY of the numbers on their own letterhead. Their agents lie about the nature of their discounts. On what planet is this good service? The savings doesn't seem to be worth the drama.
I was with TSC for a few months. Very cheap but applicants beware! After a few months they will send you a application and state they need more information .They don't document anything that you say and try to use anything against you for cancellation in your application. This is bad for business. After explaining to them and being honest in regards to a new address they flip everything around and canceled my insurance. I have seen this before! It's called the hang yourself trick. Honestly your better off going to a major insurance like state farm or progressive. Yes you will pay a little more but its all about peace and mind. Plus keep in mind TSC is a underwriting company , so if it comes down to an accident it could be a hassle just to get payment for repairs. New Applicants beware!
It was very easy to make a claim and get approval to replace a cracked window. Safelite came to the house and replaced the window in less than an hour. The tech was courteous and very professional.
This is a great company. They are very ethical and honest people. Not like other insurance companies that make you pay for other people mistake. They will make you feel like a family as they claim. They are also very professional, flexible and hard working folks!
Bait & Switch company! 5 weeks after getting insurance they decide I drive too far to work. I submitted documentation that I work from home now and they decided not to reinstate the policy because of the potential my situation could change in the future!!!! That reason is total BS . I filed a complaint with the NYS Department of Financial Services and now have to find another company. Would never recommend them.....guess you get what you pay for!!!!!
Had them for car insurance for many years. Clean driving record. They decided to not renew me because I work ten miles away!? They told me I drive too many miles to work?! Also they were always asking for my credit score every year to renew? I don't see how that's relevant or legal. They did me a favor. I had legit great car insurance now. Good riddens TSC Direct.
Absolutely terrible. Do not fall for it. I wanted to insure my mercedes and mustang. They gave me the run around right from the beginning. Then i sold my mustang and they immediately said they wouldnt do a full coverage for my mercedes because " the parts are too expensive". Are you serious? Clearly a cheap lazy insurance company. Immediately went back with geico.

It's amazing that they are the only insurance to ask me for PERSONAL details which can put my husband and I at risk. Geico progressive Allstate never needed to ask for SS number Work location Title Info When you bought the car. If it's a scam and I give them this info they can do anything with it. I think the quote is to con you into giving them all your personal information that you give without a problem. And by what I read. How can they cancel and not refund your money?? I've never heard of that in my life. That will mess up your continuous insurance. How are they able to do this. Any other insurance company WILL refund you if you leave them...never heard of insurance canceling you out of nowhere. You get what you pay for I guess or it's a scam.
I have performed an in-depth review of this company, THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE. If you look at most of the 5 star reviews they all have the same things in common: review the same four companies(this, budget blinds and some other auto company). The reviews written by REAL people are very low and are very critical! STAY CLEAR OF THIS SUSPICIOUS INSURANCE COMPANY.
Communication with the insurance company was easy and available. My idea about the process was made understandable and ready to follow and I got results . If you are doing a claim you should make it a point to keep informed and be able to rely on the rep for guidance and procedures used to have the people aware of you intent to get this done in your own way.
I was with T.S.C Direct over 10 years never no claims they kept every dime I gave them cause im a good driver .I moved and my son kept my old apartment where he lives with his fiancee .They owe me 200 bucks for the last payment I made at that address .They just sent me a letter from some lawyers firm saying I owe them over 400 bucks.My sons dmv address and mine are up to date and are different and they are trying to collect money from me when I paid tsc the money for my policy before I moved.keep in mind me and my sons addresses are different legally as per dmv records .dont let them rip you off .I talked to geico and im back with them thank god.stay away from tsc .trust me ..

First things first this company and underwriters can eat a Frank, Please save your time with this company, every day you will receive a letter about more information, they wanna know how much you weight, how many times you eat a day, they wanna know your what color underwear you have on. I never had a insurance company that was so annoying. For the annoyance the prices should be lower, I can get a policy at any other company and be left alone as long as I pay, I live in nyc I got more important things to deal with that to play phone tag with you bums

The receptionist at front desk spoke to me with respect and answered my questions so it was understanding to me and when she did not have an answer on one of my question she immediately went to find out and came back with an answer. I was very impressed with her she was spot on with the knowledge.

they sent me a quote in the mail and then proceeded to tell me they cant cover me because my work locations vary and they cant track my mileage and or location. Ridiculous, am i supposed to just drive back and fourth to the same exact location everyday and never use the vehicle for anything else?
My dealings with their claims department representative Jason made my dilemma of my tires being stolen and damage to my car because of this were made so much better by him because of his politeness, respect, and knowledge.

I opened a policy with them for about 200 dollars a month lasted about two months only to find out after they canceled the policy on me because they say, they didn't accept my type of car and when I tried to switch company's i had to pay alot more because they canceled on me and I had about a week of a insurance gap and I called to see if they could help somehow and they said they couldn't do anything
What does TSC stand for? Tri-state. Moved to Connecticut and they told me they only covered NYS. WTH! Change your name! Now I'm scrambling for new insurance. Over 10 years of what was good service. My mistake for assuming Tri-state actually meant tri-state.
Any time I have had to call the office regarding small matters to large claim matters, the agents are knowledgeable and patient. They answer my questions courteously and get back to me quickly if they don t have answers immediately. I have been a client of TSC for over 20 years

If you have a good driving and insurance record, TSC will save you lots of money! I've been with TSC for almost 10 years and the service has been outstanding. I've made changes to my policy over the years, all has been great. No complaints here. They have a friendly staff, pleasant people.
I had this company for 7 years and 2 claims. Initially they saved me 2/3 of my premium with geico. Couple of years after that they've been beating geico premiums by $100 or more. My first claim was quickly handled. I was fully at fault and they didn't increase my premiums. The second one was both at fault, they handled that claim quickly as well. And best of all, I don't have to watch their ads every possible commercial break!!!
I called in a bit of a panic because I noticed the insurance card in my car had expired. The rep I spoke with, Dina, was awesome. She immediately alleviated my concerns and reassured me that my policy was in force and up to date. Apparently I simply forgot to put my new card in my car. Dina emailed me a copy of my card right away. She was extremely pleasant, patient, and super helpful. Great customer service!

The worst company ever they are scheme artist thought i finally has affordable car insurance and everything was good then come to find out according to them I don t fit the criteria for them to insure me and then they tell me they need the mileage from when I last did my inspection.they need a receipt from my last inspection who keeps receipts of a car inspection I don t even remember where I went to get my inspection done. Stay away and all of their representatives are nasty all of them. Oh yea and they said they can t insure me because I m in a congested area let s be serious where isn t congested in nyc? We live in New York A**holes wow got me so mad. Why not tell someone what they need from the beginning not two months down the road when you ve already insured me they will be reported by me to BBB and attorneys office. Stay away from them!!!
