Tropicana Entertainment - Laughlin Properties Review

Food was terriable all else was good as always.Had to go to In & Out for dinner Yvonne still not feeling good from breakfast buffet this morning and dinner last bite at Carginies.

The Tropicana has always been one of the greatest places in Laughlin.

Good players club. Nice clean rooms. Photos of where the railroad parking shuttle use to lay

Good games with decent selection of drinks from the staff. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about the games and events. Hotel staff friendly and willing to help with any questions.

Went to the tropicana for their outdoor BBQ event, which was delicious

Rooms are dated, the casino is ok but a bit tight for playing for any length of time. Check in can often take 1.5 hours during the summer. For the location it's good enough for what we need... Its Laughlin after all.

First of all the front desk staff was not proffessional at all!! Then the waiter in Carnegie's Cafe (Joey) told my friend she was very intoxicated and would not serve her!!! But in the lounge they did serve her. She was tired not intoxicated!!!

Stayed 2 nights, nice rooms, friendly staff, the only didn't like while playing it was busy though couldn't get drinks had to keep buying my own, overall was good, had a great time, would go back

Older hotel but ok. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices are good if you are just looking for nice rooms.

Very dirty inside, They did not empty that's trash. Will not recommend for anyone to have Jacuzzi room, very dangerous for elderly people to get in and out of it. I'm only 70 years old and I almost fell.

The rooms are a fair price and there is always a band at night

The rooms were nice I thought they'd give you a fridge and free wifi I have been to worst looking and smelling hotels and I have gotten a fridge and free Wi-Fi they say it's free but it's says it's free but you can't get into the Wi-Fi the people at the front desk and the people at the food locations in the hotel were very rude even the manger who was super rude and disrespectful to me and my family would never stay again

Lots of penny slots. They make up most of the casino. Pool and rooms are pretty spacious. Rooms are a little plain from entertainment and decor perspectives. But it's right next to In N Out!

It's just ok ,enjoyed it more when they had a buffet

They never gave us are awards like they claim they were going to false advertisement

Good machines nice establishment had a good experience in my gambling here except for the poor service took them a while to bring me a drink the lady who served me was very rude and tried to ignore me so I gave it 3 stars

Seems like there is a daily charge for the internet if you stay here . Not usually something that I get charged for and not happy about that.

Great place to stay has in n out next door cant go wrong staying here

Next to the river. Head to the AZ side for some fun in the sun and back to NV to gamble a bit.

I STAYED HERE FOR 4 NIGHTS JUST CHECK OUT TODAY (SUNDAY AUGUST 6,2017)
GOT HERE WEDNESDAY THE 2ND AT 10:30PM.
So I booked my room 3 months ago at Tropicana's website. Didn't have to deposit anything once booking. When I arrived wednesday night the lady at the front desk said,"the total will be $220 for the 4 Nights 5 days with a $100 deposit when you check out we will return your deposit. Okay,good we signed our receipt and everything was paid in cash which came to the total of $320. Next morning I get a notification from my bank that $83.50 was taken from my account. So i go back to the front desk and spoke to Manuel,asked why was that amount taken off, if the room was paid in full and in cash,the lady never asked for my bank card only for a I'D. Manuel didn't have much access and said to speak with the Manager. Friday evening the manager ( blonde short hair didn't get her name) so I explained my situation to her and told her I didn't get why they were taking money out if my bank account and I didn't authorize any transaction to go thru. When I booked my room and received my confirmation never stated that amount would be taken out. I showed her my confirmation and she stated,well did you not read when you were booking your hotel room?" I was like excuse me? I showed her my phone and said it doesn't state anywhere there was going to be a extra charge... Then I asked to speak to her supervisor and she stated,she wasn't in I can speak to her the next day." So she went to the back to do I don't know what. And said it was a honest mistake of what the lady did when she charged me. I told the manager that wasn't my fault she should of looked and read her computer before doing anything. So at the end she said she was only going to return $60 bucks from my deposit! I was so mad and asked but why your already taking out $83 from my account. The manager stated,I didn't understand anything. But very rudely!!! This lady shoudnt be a manager especially if it's a hotel where tourist from everywhere coming from miles away. End of the day,they didn't return my money didn't give me my deposit and charge me 48 bucks more. I'm not going to stop here. This will be taken to cooperate or where I have to take it... This isn't my first time coming here but know I'm very very upset and to whoever reads this I want a response back.. my whole family was with me and is unsatisfied.

Beds are cheap pillows are nice. Casino is good, good variety

The room was the updated room but has mismatched furniture. Walked into the bathroom and had to clean the sink. Had some type of gross sticky stuff all over it. The tub still had the last persons hair all in it. Went to the restroom looked to my left and someone s floss pick was under the counter!! Gross. Needless to say it was not a very clean room. Well not stay at this hotel again.

Nice room and casino. Very friendly atmosphere and people.

We didnt spend alot of time here. Won nothing and the slots didnt even pay out enough to tease you to keep playing. Lost interest after half hour

The rooms and service here are great. My family comes here every summer and stays for several nights and goes to the lake. The hospitality is great as well, I've never meet one person has been rude. I love it here.

Very laid back environment. Live music and great food. The machines here are some of the best I've played. Amd, drinks were quality.

Rooms are a bit dated... Drawers broken, very smoker friendly, which is a negative.

Walked into the cafe to eat during river run rally. Bacon blue cheese double was really good.

Great place to sleep, gamble and eat while in Laughlin. Nice pool and coffee shop.

Where do I start. The room they stuck me in was in the Promenade Tower a very long walk from registration, very. The bell person at the desk was almost rude. When I got to the room it had green, I'll call it carpet but it was more like outdoor green stuff at miniature golf. Only not as nice. It was very wrinkled and had a huge stain that smelled of mold. I have never been to a place that I knew I had to wear my shoes to pad to the bathroom. It was bad. I called the front desk and they gave me another room. Right across the hall. Yes, same carpet (I have photos). The whole place is just sad. Old and sad. The employees are sad and tired. Stay someplace else, give this one a wide pass. Never again.

I have been going there for years , but they are starting to do away with a lot of things and now they did away with the buffet. Wow, what's next

We use to stay here when it was the Ramada Inn. Still a great place.

Room was very clean. Last time was a very bad experience, but didn't rate it at that time.

I'd like to add that the rooms have always been clean.the staff are very kind and they have great restauants. I especially enjoy the bakery where I get my morning coffee.

I'm biased because I work here. Having said that this place has the best visitor experience on the river by far..it definitely has the most friendly and helpful staff around. If you come to Laughlin you can't find a better place than the Trop.

Room is very quite if you stay in promenade tower , casino tower is for adult only but air condition is old style, very noisy, a lot of choice to eat , a lot of slot machine to choose, bingo game goes very smooth, I like this casino very much, went there 2 days ago again , bingo room moved to the side of buffet , it is a small room , very crowded , before the new bingo room finish, I will not play bingo there

The service was nice and the amenities were good as well. The hotel staff were attentive and fast to act on any needs we may have had.

Check in people very rude. Room not very clean leaking shower. WiFi does not work so poor I turned it off.

This hotel hasn't seen a remodel..... ever..... since it was built. For the price I paid, they could afford to at least put some lipstick on it. Not ADA-compliant in some areas. Disappointing. Staff was nice, although they made fun of a potential guest asking for a discount. He left. Location is great, hotel isn't.

It was fun but small towels shower is ok and it always smelt like smoke

I am a cab driver, and my passengers love the Trop! For the seniors, they think the Bingo is great!!
