Had a great time! Went for the fireworks on the 4th of July...had a great view from the front of the resort. Our first visit to Laughlin. Definitely going back!!!
Good place to stay ! Not enough choices to eat. Play back is not very good, food a little spendy ! Little dance floor, with live bands !
It was ok for the most part. Price was good. Reservation staff were friendly. Room was ok. Had coffee available in room. Bathroom floor was not clean. Needed to be swept and mopped with Lysol. Floor was sticky. Gave it 4-stars because of bathroom. Other than that, it was ok.
This Casino is roomy and comfortable. The machines are spread out, so you can play and breathe in your own space. The employees are fantastic too. And in love the beautiful decor., so classy. Can't wait to go back, the 5 hr. drive it well worth it
Covid-19 social distancing rules are in place. Limits to amount of people at pool.
I've always like the Tropicana even when it was the Ramada Inn. Staff very friendly.
Very smokey did not stay long air was hesvy to breath any one with C O PD OR BREATHING PROBLEMS NOT VER GOOD staff pleasent machines for giving and t as king average
Stayed here a few times, I'm just not into this place much. Rooms are decent just dont care to play at this casino.
I don't gamble, but we stayed one night, very comfortable room. And really good food. Very affordable as well.
It as ok. Was expecting it to be a little more lively.
Awesome one 10.00 bet and I payed for everything we have done...
The rooms are nice and have refrigerators and coffee pots in the adult or casino tower. The coffee shop is average as is the buffet.
Visited this casino as I have a players card and received free credits. Used my credits and decided to dine for breakfast, was disappointed the restaurant didn't offer any specials of the day. Both the restaurant and casino were clean and we'll lit
Front desk staff at check in was rude and tried to discredit my request for room accommodation. Other staff member had to be told to help with the line instead of closing down register because there was a line guest checking in and only one teller. Rooms were decent, was a great deal. Just would of hoped for a better interaction with the person checking us in.
"DEVISTATING" This place is terrible, terrible enough for me to write my first review of an establishment. Upon check in there was a line that was 10-15 people trying to check in which isn't excessive. What made the situation bad was the fact that there were two receptionists and one assistant manager available to check people in; instead of processing the incoming guests, the assistant manager was busy instructing one of the receptionists through an administrative hiccup with a pretty angry tone for the entire thirty minutes that I waited in line. Her verbal berating of the junior receptionist not only lengthened the wait time, it caused a call build up that was never dealt with. When I opened the door to my room there were multiple stains on the ground, the smell of mold and possibly past medical emergencies. The linens were of the lowest quality possible, resembling a hospice bed. The shower leaked all night and had a little clump of hair for me to dodge while I bathed. The toilet required multiple flushes to get a square of toilet paper to go down. The below window air conditioner unit roared through the night struggling to maintain below 73 degrees in the room, and finally the wifi is no where close to cheap. I went down stairs for a drink and watched the bar tender pass me by for 20 minutes before I gave up and walked away. The food was below the level of quality expected for human consumption. I'm in the military and I've eaten dinner in multiple austere training environments, this food was 100 times worse. Finally, I checked out of my room yesterday morning and fond out today that I was never checked out. This place deserves to go the way of blockbuster, taxi cabs, and dinosaurs. It's a terrible money grab that is run by an understaffed group of disgruntled workers. DO NOT STAY HERE. A personal note to the Tropicana Laughlin- You're literally the worst hotel ever. I'm saying this in the most sincere and non joking manner ever. I hope your hotel fails.
Liked it better under previous ownership, buffet is no longer operating
Got a Groupon but they pulled the ol bait-and-switch. The hotel is dirty, old, and unfriendly. Not impressed at all. Stay at the Golden Nugget or Harrah's, it's worth the extra few bucks.
Great place to to stay on Cinco de Mayo weekend . And every day
Great customer service good vibe the family and I enjoyed our stay
Slots are very tight, went and played bingo to save some money. Small bingo area, cheap to play and very low money prizes
The only Hotel not on the river. Cheaper Room prices casue of it. Good casino, good Bar/stage with good entertainment. In N Out right next door!! This use to be called The Ramada Express. No more Train rides.
I always like my visits here to Laughlin, just wish I could win alittle.
Other than the ice machine on our floor constantly had no ice, it was clean and all personnel were friendly and helpful
While it's a known brand, it's still Laughlin. Nothing anyone else hasn't said about the property is new. It's a place to lay your head if you're planning to visit the river. Don't expect to win at this casino or any of the other casinos as the business has died down and they need to do everything they can to stay open.
Fun little casino to spend some time at when escaping the Nevada desert heat. Small but cozy inside.
This is definitely one of the higher end casinos in Laughlin. Just make sure you ask for a resort room - those are the most updated. Although that doesn't mean much apparently. Upon check-in I was told the room I paid for was no longer available. When I questioned this, I was told, "When making a reservation we guarantee you a room, not what kind."
The Carnegie Cafe is horrible, overpriced, and takes forever. Don't waste your time. The steak house didnt want to accept our party so we went elsewhere, the buffet is as expected (but we only had breakfast), the Italian restaurant isnt worth it. Just go to In-N-Out.
The low review is the service at check-in and the general attitude of the employees. Maybe it's the Laughlin attitude, or maybe its just Tropicana, but don't expect good customer service here.
Wonderful casino. Everyone that works there is so friendly
This Casino Rocks. The Slot Machines were Generous this evening and my Wife and I had a Great time. We look forward to coming back soon. Please tell me if you liked my review.
Better than Edgewater. I paid cash for a room. Full price .Sister was.comped. she voted the nice room. I got the most shittyest room. I gambled high. She doesn't. Figure that one . Never again
Love this place always have a good time the room are very nice food is the best
I jus Love this Place Always Clean Rooms and well kept casino. Drinks are good staff is ok
Not bad, can't have Vegas expectations of anything in Laughlin.
Me and my family drove 3 hours 45 minutes to come here, we were very excited. Upon arriving we were told we have to get our players card. So my two girls followed me to the line a soon I was in line I was approached by a tables manager And very aggressively And Rudely he said to me and my girls you cannot be on the carpet You have to be off the carpet... ok firstly He could ve told us nicely he was very unprofessional and you don t talk to little girls like that, Secondly the carpet goes all the way till it hits the wall so what are they supposed to do walk on the walls??? Even the couple in front of me were talking amongst themselves saying how rude that guy was..It just put me in a different type of mood and I did not want to spend my money in the casino neither did any of my other family members because of him we spent our money at the Golden Nugget in Aquarius hotel instead...Have better customer service next time.. we didn t travel all this was to be treated rudely. He could ve said excuse me ma am and said it politely and of course I would ve sent my girls off to the side.
Casino was super hot, promotion running was nothing to worry about.
Service here was very miscommunication with one another and horrible
let us book a room on 4th of july...with out reservation love the trop in Laughlin
Easy valet or park in their structure. Clean, multiple restrooms and easy access to food areas.
I honestly had such a good experience at this hotel. I do want to thank the valet, housekeeping and front desk for making our stay a good one. Perfect views in our rooms and quick service, will be staying here again in the future.
Love this Lots beautiful pool parking is well-lit everything is very accessible to gift shop is amazing
My friends and totally enjoyed are stay. The staff at all levels we awesome.Thank You Tracy at the VIP lounge for all your help .
Too many kids..rooms okay but need updating. Staff are all great.
Everyone is very friendly n helpful. Food is also very good
I stayed here recently this month and I can say without equivocation that this is THE BEST hotel I have ever stayed at in Laughlin. My room was on the 23rd Floor with a view to die for, truly. The room was very well-appointed and everything with my 2-night stay was First Class. I cannot recall a better bed which is such a joy as all know. The Staff here was great and I promise you that this is THE location to explore above others when your trip takes you to Laughlin! THANK YOU TO ALL AT THE TROPICANA LAUGHLIN
Ridiculous I choked when I entered the place. I have heard of China's smog and pollution issues, well I could not breath without inhaling that polluted air
Their atms were down causing a lot of fees. Had no luck at the casino. Other than that a typical casino in Laughlin
Lots of things broken in our room. Holes in the comforter. Sheets ripped. No plugs to charge. Last time we will be staying here. They need to upgrade or close their doors and bull doze.
Service was great. Rooms very comfortable, easy check in process all done ahead of time just a short line for the keys. The atmosphere in the pool area was relaxing large overhead TV with videos playing while decompressing in the hot tub. The walk from check in to the promenade tower was a bit of a hike, that's the only drawback. I recommend.
There's a 60 bucks fees u will never get back after booking pay all at time to check in there is a fee u need to pay
Good location with alot of food places within walking distance. Also very clean and child friendly
Check in was fast and friendly. Everyone is friendly. And helpful.
Hot tub suite is exquisite for only $15 more than the avg nightly room rate.
Rooms are nice! I know it is the desert, but they keep it so cold in the casino! Played bingo it was an ok bingo! Slots give you a little play!
Good place to stay ,good service good place to play
Nice rooms but we don't like to gamble there, never do good and the drink service is slow. Always get free rooms around my birthday, we stay there and walk across the street to gamble.
I stayed on st patricks day so much fun
The rates was great and so much partying
Great rooms and my favorite is video porker, keno and black jack on one slot the best
We had a room with a balcony, the view of the river was nice, they allow smoking inside the casino, i found this to be quite Disappointing
Staying here. Avoiding the slots. Enjoying the quiet room!
Fun place,very clean
nice people
Nice casino. Sports book very small. Good restaurants and lounge.
I was pleased with my shirt stay. My room was very comfortable and the staff was very pleasant
Location was perfect rooms were a good size and the service was amazing
