Honestly, from Richardson to McKinney, I have had a bad experience with the service advisors. They have the worst hospitality and attitudes. They seem annoyed with every question you ask and appear to only care about what money they ll be getting from your business. But I guess that s the car industry. I definitely won t be buying another car from Toyota after what I have been through at BOTH locations.

I had a horrible experience at this dealership.
I went in ready to buy a Camry in December 2018. When I got to the dealership it was 3:30 p.m on what was a slow Friday for them, by the time I left the dealership it was already 9:30 p.m, at which the staff said we all had to leave.

I waited long times between the sales man coming back and forth with a car option; he first tried to get me on a high miles vehicle even though I stated I wanted something with <30K miles. This process took well over 3:30 hours where I tried out 3 cars.

Eventually I found what I liked, a 2016 Camry.
We agreed on price and everything was okay to go. At this point I became satisfied, wanted to finish the process and go home with my new car.

It was 7:45pm by the time I got to the finance office.
The finance guy Ben started pushing hard on the warranty, zaktek package, and Gap.
I told him that I only wanted Gap but he made it sound like I couldn t get a good deal on the Gap without the other two.
After he continues hard sales tactics I got fed up and accepted to the add ons.

By the time we finished it was 9:30pm. When they said I was ready to go, I wasn t able to take my car because I didn t have full coverage , only liability insurance. Something which if a good sales or customer service rep would ve mentionedI would have gotten sorted earlier.
Geico was closed by this time for me to change my policy so I had to leave the car.

Now I have my Camry which I am happy with, except for the warranty and add ons like Zaktek which total nearly an extra $5000 on my loan balance.
This at 6% is nearly an extra $1,800 in interest that I would have to pay.

That is disguising predatory type of selling which allows for one of those finance idiots to ruin the financial stability of a person.

I am in the process of canceling all that extra BS and getting back to a price point that doesn t leave me hugely upside down on my loan balance.

These guys customer service sucks.
They didn t even send me my documents!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would.

Great, knowledgeable, and courteous staff. I don't trust my vehicle with any other service department. The advisors make sure I know what's going on with my vehicle and the best way to take care of any issues. I refer people to this dealership all the time.

OMG!!! HECTOR SANTIAGO and the entire staff at Toyota of Richardson are awesome. Hector put me in the right car at the right price. Everyone at this dealership was nice, polite and knowledgeable. HECTOR was very patient and answered all of my questions. This was the best car buying experience I ever had. I will definitely refer HECTOR and this dealership to my friends and family. The staff was courteous, helpful, and kind. They were responsive to our needs and request. They gave us space to take the time to talk and discuss our decision with pressuring us and where there to respond to our request. Todd Owens was the best car salesman we have ever dealt with and Brian Smith the finance manager was courteous, professional and listened to our needs and request. We bought the exact car we we wanted that had everything so we have no plans to buy another car for many many years to come, but when we do we will definitely come back here. Best experience all the way around and made our car buying process actually fun and smooth.

This vehicle is beautiful. The salesperson Aaron Grimshaw and the general manager Steve Grogan was more than cooperative in coming to a price that my wife & I could be very happy with. The finance person Mr. Reyes was perfect! He really new is stuff. I loved the platinum protection plan we purchased which included maintenance for 5 years. The vehicle is beautiful. Fully loaded Prius V with Moon roof. Digital speedometer, XM radio and navigation. We could not be any happier than we are with everyone we came into contact with. Also, the person in finance was Adrian Gomez not Mr. Reyes. He was wonderful to work with. He did not waste time creating the paperwork to sign. He was perfect!

Ask for Gary Owens when you go in, he s the best and will work for you! He got me into the 4Runner of my dreams and the finance team got me approved with no problems! Don t shop anywhere else, see them first!

The Service Department Supervisor Mitch is excellent! My service manager is Rodrigo. He is excellent. He gives me all my options and is very knowledgeable, never pressures me to do anything but because he is so thorough I trust him and the mechanics as well. He looks out for me. I have had my car serviced here 3 times now and I love it. Worth the drive. One time I arrived in the morning at 7am and I was helped by Mitch and thought he was one of the porter/assistant. Mitch was so kind and patient with checking me in (there were already 10+ cars waiting at 7am). It was after he helped me that I realize he was the supervisor over all the service managers. I was very impressed that the Big boss was not too proud to help out in the morning. To me this tells alot about the quality of customer service that is expected and GIVEN from top to down. I was able to speak to a mechanic there too Joe- Master Mechanic (?) again though young in age very knowledgeable and very thorough! Excellent service in the Service department!!!!

I dealt with Terry Torbet at Toyota of Richardson, he is a delight to work with. As an informed shopper who looked at the web for pricing on the Highlander we were interested in, Terry and I sat down over the figures and came us with a very good price I was and am pleased with. The day of the Highlander delivery, Terry introduced me to all of the new electronics which the Highlander has. I have also taken our parish priest to Toyota of Richardson and Terry took great care of Fr. Peter for me.
This dealership and their people are first class.

Very dissatisfied with the service here. I felt extremely demeaned by the sales rep that was "helping" me and they weren't very helpful at all. The kindness felt extremely fake and it was just a very unpleasant experience for me, especially as a first time buyer who was hoping for a little more understanding from the workers. Definitely buying my car elsewhere.

Your body shop did a great job. However, my car was robbed. Sule, your employee, and I figured out my car was robbed on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, either by an employee or it was parked in front of the body shop by the street/sidewalk unlocked. My garage door opener and paper work (insurance) was in the glove compartment. Both were stolen and I was robbed on Thanksgiving. I have called the police but if you have cameras on your property at the body shop that would show where my car was parked, it was probably not an shop employee but someone walking on the sidewalk or in your parking lot. All help would be appreciated as they still have my garage door opener and address to steal some more. Otherwise, I would have given you 5 stars.

I went there for my regular oil change. The next day, while I was reversing from my drive way, I saw the oil drops on my garage floor. I immediately stopped and checked oil level which was right below the minimum level line. The oil pan screw was not tightened enough. I tightened and added more oil. But the car undercarriage is messy due to dripping oil all around. I called and complained Toyota USA and left negative review for the survey. They even can not do very simple oil change properly.
Do not go there!

They promised me to give me a call to update everything about my car. 2 days later, no one called. I called in and asked for my service advisor but he was not there. So I called in again 3 times. He was not there, either. I finally came in, and they said my car was ready to pick up. Before that, they let me rent a rental car from enterprise, for a day. When I picked up my car and returned the key, they charged me for 2 days renting. Bottom line is if I got a call from any one from the service department , I would have return the rental car's keys sooner avoid the extra charge. I feel like they didn't care enough. I am wondering if it is because my car is still under warranty and they couldn't get any money out of it?

P/s: My car was dirtier compare to when I dropped it off the first day, and they didn't put back the back seat. I was very disappointed :(

Toyota of Richardson has deceptive and illegal car selling practices. This account has been condensed for brevity. Consumers beware that Toyota of Richardson, TX has a history of scams and selling lemon cars.

THIS DEALERSHIP HAS A ONSITE BODY SHOP. IF YOU EVER SEE AN ONSITE BODY SHOP AT A DEALERSHIP RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION.

There were 3 primary ways their car selling practices were deceptive:




I purchased a 2016 Toyota vehicle with less than 25,000 miles and one owner from them. The vehicle has had numerous problems they have failed to address. They ve worked on the vehicle, if you can call it that, on 3 separate occasions.

At one point, the vehicle wouldn t even turn on!!!! All of this happened in less than 30 days of me owning the vehicle.

I ve purchased other cars before from other dealerships and this has been the worst car buying experience and the worst purchasing experience of my life!!!

After speaking to several different people, I contacted them again and was told to reach out to their Customer Care person Jonathan He s probably the same person responding to these reviews. He exists only for political correctness, because all he did was instruct me to talk to someone else, Brian Pacheco the Sales Director.

I told Brian Pacheco, about my numerous problems, the multiple times I ve brought the vehicle in AND the salesman that sold me the vehicle providing a clean CarFax and telling me that the vehicle had had no previous work done on it other than oil and tire changes. I later found out through their body shop that the car had thousands of dollars of work done on it at their ONSITE collision shop.

Brian Pacheco, the Sales Director s response to me was the salesman only has to provide what s on a CarFax to the customer. It s not their job to provide what their ONSITE body shop does to a vehicle.

So they know a car has a history of work/damage that was completed at their onsite body shop and as long as it s not on a CarFax report, even though they did the work, they don t disclose this to the customer.

They are probably going to respond with a boiler plate response of we re looking into to it , but TRUST, if you don t see a specific response from me as to how it was resolved it hasn t been resolved.

If you re thinking about buying a car from them, DON T.

Don't waste your time with Kelly Blue Book instant offers. Toyota Richardson called, texted and emailed me to set an appointment for appraisal. Told the lady I'm not selling at their instant offer and she assured me it would be higher. The appraiser, while super nice, spent all of 3 mins looking at my vehicle and gave me the same blue book offer. WASTE.OF.TIME.

I am proud to say I purchased my car from this dealership. They have wonderful people from their sales department to their service department. A job well done all around.

What a clusterf*** from sales up to management.
Went in to take an extended drive of an Avalon hybrid. Salesman said he would go get one. 30 minutes later, I stood to leave, when manager came over and called sales rep. Said he had to clean car,etc. When I looked at car, realized it was not a hybrid. After almost an hour or me in car to drive me to test car.

When we got back to dealership, was then informed I had to go drive car, around the block, then meet wuth manager to discuss numbers before I could take on extended drive. After wasting 1.5 hours of my time, I left without driving car. Why waste my time talking numbers when I hadn't had the chance to drive the car? ???? What a waste of time.

Manager made excuses that salesman didn't communicate what was going on, as I sat outside manager's office the entire 45 minutes. Why not talk with me then?

Steer clear, save yourself time, energy and frustration and go some place else!

PS. I've extended test driven cars from 6 other dealerships workout once encountering this type of mistrust and inefficiency.

Just wanted to take the time and say I had a great buying experience all because of Manny Carrillo. Very honest person to deal with. I told him what I was looking for and he gave me fair and honest price. I had been to several dealerships, all very pushy. Manny was the complete opposite. Glad I was able to find a place where I did not feel like I was being backed into a corner to purchase a vehicle. Happy to say I was in and out, and did not feel "ripped off" when I left. Thanks for the great buying experience.

I knew I wanted it before I came in and I am so stunned that this awesome SUV is mine. This place was neat and orderly with a lot a great service and nice vehicles. If you are shopping around on your next purchase, you have got to go check these guys out! Don't forget to ask for Tracy, he will take good care of you!

Terrible customer service with service call I could not even get a return call!!

This companies customer service is the worst ever. I would never recommend this company and advise to never use them. I had a factory mirror that came off and came to these guys to fix it. Told I could wait and wasted 4 hours till told I could come back at 5PM. Picked it up and the mirror fell down within one day. I went back and was told to go the Safelite Autoglass and thought they were paying for it to be done there. When I then found out that Safelite does it FOR FREE and they were not fixing their problem. Safelite did a fabulous job. Asked for my money back and I would need to talk to Noel Hanback, Director of Service. I left 3 or 4 messages and never received a return call about the $157.78 that I spent that got NOTHING FOR but a referral to a company that did it for free. Pathetic customer service and I would never use these guys. Hoping maybe I get a return call but the level of customer service is blatantly obvious. NEVER USE THESE GUYS!!!!

The showroom sale part of the process was ok, it still felt as they where selfish individuals as far as selling the car who I wouldn't say care too much if the deal is right for you.. but how quickly they can close it for a guaranteed sale. The Finance department is terribly slow. One of the may disappointments was they deceive you into purchasing a Mechanical Care Plan in a hose that it will cover all Service on your vehicle (oil change, tire rotation, alignment e.t.c) when it really has nothing to do with Service but replacement of small minor mechanical parts. (This would be presented by the individual you work with in Finance.) I also referred a customer who had a very similar experience. The hole experience personally looking back was just terrible. Had i known what i know now, I would Without a taken my investment somewhere else.

Abid Khan (sales) and Aaron Tunnell (management) showed respect for my time, played no games, and gave me the most competitive pricing I could find in the metroplex on a used Camry. I shopped other dealers for several days beforehand, so I can confidently say that this dealership is considerably more professional and motivated than their peers.

Eduardo helped me buy my new car and he was extremely helpful and efficient. He was able to pick out the perfect vehicle for me and it has been nothing but great. I went back a few weeks later to pick up my plates and the staff was extremely helpful and quick. Megan installed my plates and was also extremely efficient and nice. All around my experience was very good. I definitely suggest asking for either of these two if you are looking for any help at Toyota of Richardson.

At first I thought it was going to be positive. Ryan met us at the door and we were welcomed. Went for the test drive and noticed some stuff that needed some attention if we were going to buy the vehicle. Ryan said not a problem. When we went through the original look at the price it said one thing and when we got to financing it was a $1000 more. When we were approached about the extended warranty, we were told an original price of $2500 for the warranty, however Nick said he wanted to get us the 48/48 for just a little bit more. The final price we noticed when we got home was around $3600. To me that is not a little bit more. He also said he was going to try to include a club package. We said ok and found out later it was an additional $1500. It was never explained to us and to me that is kind of shady practice. Then when we got in the truck to go home there was still something on the dashboard and there was still stuff left in the truck bed that I specifically told Ryan about. So my overall experience was poor and have no plan to come back or send someone there.

He is a great consultant giving me advice what we should do when we buy a used car. He also tried hard to get things done fast. Hope we'll do more business in the future with Toyota of Richardson.

I got to Toyota of Richardson at around 7 PM and by 9 PM I walked out with a brand new car!! Chad Pillai was so extremely helpful and was very understanding and helped me pick out the perfect car!! After that Adrian Gomez helped us with our financing and we were in and out within 20 minuets! We stayed about 45 minuets after they closed and no one made us feel rushed at all. It was a great expierence and I will definitely be back at Toyota of Richardson for my next car!

My experience at Toyota of Richardson started about a year ago when I walked into the dealership looking for a car, my wife and I looking at the new Camry at that time patiently sat for an hour after a sales associate said that someone be there to assist us shortly. To our amazing no one came we left and bought a Camry at Toyota of Plano that evening.
Since I live down the street from the Richardson dealership I decided to make and appointment to have my car serviced arriving 15 minutes before my appointment, I sat and waited on my turn about 10 minutes after I was called by my advisor and instead of anything about any issues she proceeded to tell me how much my service was going to cost me and also that my appointment was not as scheduled and would be a 2 hour process .I asked what good is making an appointment 4 days before if the dealership can t honor it.she just looked with a blank stare, I took my car and went to Toyota of Plano the next day got and amazing service advisor and promised a time and delivered as he said, I m in the market for another new vehicle and will never go to Toyota of Richardson again.

Worst dealership ever. That pretty much sums up this entire review. This isn't my first car buying experience. No one cares about anything here, people are rude and indifferent to whether you purchase their vehicle or not. After going through to the finance department and speaking with them and repeatedly saying "no, I don't want any additional insurance" at least six times, they said "ok, I understand". I even complained to their manager that their finance guy doesn't understand what "no" means. An hour later, they finally wrote up the papers and STILL added the extra insurance I specifically said no to. The next day, they rewrote the finance papers saying they will correct it and added $4,000 extra of insurance. Do these idiots not understand what NO means? They even initially said they would deliver the vehicle to my resident. After I made very clear that I would not be purchasing any extra insurance, they refused to deliver the vehicle to my address. I'm sorry I'm not an idiot by buying your overpriced insurance, but you people are the worst dealership on the face of the planet.

I bought my truck in November 2018, after 3 weeks I was lying on the road, because the battery was not used, I spoke to the dealer and they were not responsible for giving me another battery, although the battery was guaranteed for 84 months and supposedly the technicians They inspect everything to deliver everything in perfect condition, I am very disappointed by this, I put my trust in them and I only received a refusal from the dealer ... 12/3/2019 ... Return to the dealer again to see that hiban to do about my problem about it ,,, and they just made me lose time again ,,,, I'm completely dreamed of this dealer and I do not recommend it at all ,,,, they give you a lot of money to buy them the warranty also ... BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ....

I called to get a price on replacing a valve cover...

I called to get a price on replacing a valve cover gasket on a sequoia. I was giving a price of $916. I asked how many hours it was and was told 5.5hrs. I asked the service advisor was he sure this is correct? (I have called 6 other Toyota dealerships in the metroplex so fare for quotes and the prices have ranged from $460 to $916 and 3hrs to 5.5 hrs for labor).

How can there be such a big difference at your dealership opposed to others. Some dealerships asked for more info like year, engine size 2/4wd, timing belt vs chain. So maybe that to be a factor in the pricing, but shouldn't, except for maybe a timing belt vs chain affecting the amount of work involved. But $916 really someone in management should question the ethics of this service advisor.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Tried to sell me a RAV4 that was in the shop that I couldn't even test drive. Avery wanted to go work the "numbers" on this car. SERIOUSLY? When they went to took at my trade-in they actually parked it in the back lot surrounded it so I had to back out a few yards to leave this place. That was after asking several times WHERE IS MY CAR? I could go on about how I was treated here, but won't. Let's just say my F bombs were flying. I'm a professional older lady and they brought out the very worst in me. Single women STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!

Exceptional service in the automotive repair dept....

Exceptional service in the automotive repair dept. Mr. Nguyen was very outstanding with constant communication during our 2002 Camry's repair process. He explained what needed repair and why, what tests were being done to determine the extent of the repair needed and even covered the cost of our one day rental during the repair because the repair cost us over a particular dollar amount. I like the cars and service, but be very careful you don't lose your keys. They gave me two sets when I bought the car and refused to give me any more. Now I've lost both sets and it is going to cost me over $500. to get a new set. Rip off!

I have called to talk to Cesar Sotelo multiple times and either get hung up on or get forwarded to Cesar Sotelo voice mail which is full. So I really don't understand how you can address a issue that is unable to be even addressed. This isn't the first time I've been neglected or just treated with very high unimportance. Very dissatisfied customer and my wife Emily was completely taken advantage of.

Ouss Mahmoud was our sales rep, he insured all my auto needs were met and walked through the process which was very transparent and professional. I highly recommend Ouss and Toyota of Richardson!!

car. And we went they didn't tell us that are cover up was no longer good. So they send us to this one place to say that are cover no linger good. We waited for about an hours. So saying this I will not recommend this horrible place to anyone... I HATE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!

Had one of the most worst experience. The manager called ray got mad at me and had some of his bad attitude. Just because I lower the vehicle price. This is my rights to argue on price. You don t have to sell your vehicle to me... Patrick the sales person was decent and good luck to him to work with him in future.
