They are small business friendly! This is my 2nd year using them and I highly recommend them to others!

These guys are do not do what they say they will. AT ALL! After a few months of subscription they didn't get me anywhere. Promised me a website I could keep but ended up taking it down. Promised me two posts on facebook but probably did 4 or 5 total over a period of a few months. Very unsatisfied and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Everyone I have worked with is very personable and listens to exactly what I need. They get it done with beauty and precision. I am very happy to be working with Townsquare Interactive.

When they wanted my interior painting service to join them, they blew up my phone. I decided not to go With them because they lied about what service area I would service. I have been waiting 2 weeks for my money back and they haven t sent it yet. I have called and left messages but no return call. Now they are saying they sent it. My bank says otherwise. These people are unprofessional and dishonest..I now have to report these people to the better business bureau just to get $597 back.

Another week has passed since I wrote this and still no refund. I suggest to anyone who uses this company to be very cautious. I guess I will wait another week.

Very happy with the service provided. We would like to applaud Jon Caviness who has been very helpful in getting posts up to our website in a rapid fashion - for example, a contest we announced yesterday, was up this morning!

My rep Kelsey Holland is absolutely amazing. Totally on top of things and a tru get it done girl. When quick updates are needed Kelsey has got my back . Very Impressive. I have seen a dramatic increase in website hits and customer interest since she has taken control of my site. 5 stars for sure .

I wanted to up my web presence for my law practice, so when Townsquare cold called me about SEO services I foolishly signed up without reading the Yelp reviews first.

I stayed with Townsquare from June to September before I dumped them. The website they created was cookie cutter and amateurish. In the four months it was active it converted 0 clients despite my aiming google adwords ads at it. They charged me about $450 a month to lose me clients.

The final aggravation was that their own reports showed they were actually FALLING in google ranking over time in many of my key categories. I called to cancel immediately on receiving their September report. Their agreement specifies that they will turn over the domain upon termination, but their corporate policy of only allowing a transfer to another godaddy account makes actually taking your domain where you want an aggravating process that will take at least 60 days to complete.

I wouldn't recommend these people to my worst enemy.

Townsquare Interactive has been a wonderful group to work with! Not only did they provide superior customer service but their efforts to improve my SEO standings were visibly successful in a surprisingly short timeframe. They designed a beautiful webpage with cutting edge interactivity for my small business. Whenever I needed a change or help, they were immediately responsive and on top of the situation. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This company is a ripoff, and whatever you do, do NOT give them access to your bank account info or debit card numbers. They charge a lot of money that produces no results, and like another reviewer wrote, after you cancel they will try to get you for another month by saying you missed an imaginary deadline. We told them they would get a bad review if they continued to harass us over this, as we had records of when we canceled. So we get letters in the mail for money we do not legitimately owe, so here is the review we promised so that others will know better. Keep reading the reviews below and note the other one stars - we all have a similar story and its obviously their scam tactic to try and get money out of people who decide to stop their service. Oh, and while they were charging us all this money for SEO saying it was going to produce all these results (we get more calls off a free site we do ourselves) I accidentally discovered that our online order forms were not even working and had not been for some time after they lied and said the tested them! Perhaps they were good at one time, but not any time recently. STEER CLEAR OF THEM.

We hired TownSquare Interactive to increase our organic presence in the search engines. From the very start, the communication was simply nonexistent. When we didn't show interest in their services, they kept calling with more and more attractive discounts. Once they had our Credit Card, we barely heard from them. They made promises they later could not fulfill and gave a 90 day guarantee they refused to honor. We recorded our status the day we hired TownSquare Interactive and again once we gave notice of cancellation, and TownSquare Interactive has done next to nothing for our company's online presence.
For anyone considering hiring this company, understand that you will not be dealing with the person selling you the services after your initial agreement, and the tech tasked with providing you with these services, will not honor what the sales team promises.
Ask yourself this; are you willing to give your company's password and sensitive information to a group of people that represent their business and services like a scam? If TownSquare Interactive is willing to treat a paying customer like this, how are they going to treat a customer that cancels their services, while they still have access to your entire online presence? What will the repercussions of a bad review be?
We were willing to risk a few hundred dollars to see if TownSquare Interactive could positively change our organic online presence, and we would have been ignorant not to continue a relationship with a company that could provide these services successfully, even with their horrible communication... but TownSquare Interactive failed on every level and only proved to take our money with absolutely no services received.
Should anyone like to see transcripts of communications, emails and monthly reports regarding our experience with TownSquare Interactive, please feel free to contact us... even the monthly reports they send out, are 90% incomplete; we informed them of their extremely inaccurate reports the first month, and they continued in every report, every month after... no change, even after bringing their shortcomings to the representatives attention; again, absolutely no effort on their part.
Can you imagine how monetarily lucrative a business could be, by simply requesting all your paying clients be patient for at least 90 days before canceling services? You could find 1000 suckers and never have to actually do anything other than simply make a few phone calls, speak empty promises and reel them in... sounds like the true definition of 'scam'.
Once TownSquare Interactive agrees in writing, they will not use our company's sensitive information that they have received, to access any of our accounts, to defame or negatively impact our company in any way, as well as refund our monies, we will consider editing our review and/or remove it from all online forums.

Just started with them and hope to see some results in a short period of time. So far all the staff has been very helpful in asking the needs of our company and what our goals are.

Townsquare Interactive has made the transition of my website from another vendor to their platform a one of ease, there was very little work on my part. Within a week I'm ranking #1 on the first page of Google in the services category for my business. I'm awaiting to see future bottom line results in specific targeted areas and I'll come back and give a updated review . If the results are positive I'll update to a 5 star. Thus far I am very impressed and pleased. Addendum: the team has kept me informed on a regular basis and I recently signed on a new client that found me on page 1.

This has been a breath of fresh air, in comparison to prior marketing groups I've worked with in the past! These guys are young and hungry to help build your business with you! I recieve a phone call just about weekly to see what it is that they can do to continue help me grow my business! Luis has done everything I have asked of him and then some! We bought two for are dogs and they work great. One collar was hard to turn on and the company sent a replacement right away.

Meredith Walsh, my initial contact person, was patiently informative and insightful as to my situation. She was no pressure and gave me a great deal.

NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! They should be shut down for unethical practices. I hired them to build me a new website on my existing domain, which they did. They promised SEO but never delivered. When I tried to cancel, they suddenly stopped answering the phone until the day after my card was charged for a new billing cycle. When I finally did cancel they removed all the content on the website (that they had promised I would keep if I ever cancelled) and hijacked my domain. My domain now says "Townsquare Website is no longer available", even though I have an active free google website at the web address and IT (not townsquare's site) is selected as the active website for the domain. I'm now consulting with a lawyer about pursuing legal action against this company. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE 1 STAR IS BECAUSE I HAD TO IN ORDER TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW.

DIY on GoDaddy is better than Townsquare! Please don't become another one of their victims by allowing this company to overcharge you and hold your domain hostage all while ignoring your request at the same time with zero accountability. Please go somewhere else! Services are not worth a two cent coin! If you must, control your domain name so that you can leave with it once you realize just how bad they suck!

Very few calls from the site. Did not do what they said it would. Also told me they would put my old site back up if I wasent able to continue the service that was a lie.

I've been working with Anna Lee as my rep for my general contracting business. She is absolutely amazing! I have an amazing website now, I'm seen within number 5 on Google, and anytime I have a concern or question she answers immediately and takes care of everything we discuss, and it's been about 4 months and ive already started to move into the bigger markets around my home town.

Amazing company to work with. 110% satisfied! They removed my stress and did an amazing job with my site. Their team Rocks! Couldn't be happier with the service. I researched for months to find the right person or company to do what I needed done. They delivered what they said they would, even faster than they said it would happen. I had paid for Seo and such from another company, and couldn t even find my name in searches after scrolling through 100 or so listings. I paid town square , they revamped my website and I haven t even had my initial phone meeting with my account manager and already top 25 in local listings and first organic call from a visitor to the new site. Would definitely recommend.

I was contacted by a salesperson, Forest L., who was great. He was smart, knowledgeable, polite, and professional. He moved at my pace and followed up on whatever we discussed and agreed upon when he said he would. I thought he, and by extension his company, were terrific and will be doing my interactive marketing with Townsquare.

Townsquare created my website almost a year ago. I could not be more pleased with the attention to detail, the immediate response to requests and updates and the helpful recommendations. My contact, Olivia is one of the most delightful people with whom I have ever worked. She is friendly, positive and professional; and is readily available but not forceful. She has been an amazing resource as I have transitioned from making jewelry as a hobby to entrepreneur.

Amanda is wonderful, always has a positive attitude, and is extremely knowledgable!

Townsquare refused to send email confirming refund or refund the 369.00 dollars after Dylan said he would.
Reason for refund was Dylan fabricated what the services would benefit me and the time it would take.
This Dylan guy really is a character you dont want to have dealings with.
Unprofessional at the highest level and tells so many lies he probably was just raised that way.

I started with them in October of 2020.
They certainly billed me quick enough but never responded to my emails.
Maurice, who is located in Maine, would not respond to any of my text, calls or emails. He certainly sent out emails that were most likely preset.
I asked them to discontinue service in early January. They kept charging my bank, debit card which I had changed. Townsquare turned around, found their own way to get my checking acct number off my bank card info, kinda sneaky & illegal.
Even the bank was puzzled.
Well, Townsquare finally calls to see what they can do. And do you want to take care of an outstanding balance. If you read your incoming emails then you d have a clue... NONE!
Now I m left with a website that has been canceled and I can t access even though I own the domain.
One of the worst experiences I ve ever encountered.

Townsquare Interactive has been great for our department. They took over our old set up, revamped it, and introduced it in a week time frame. Since then I have been able to update the site at my leisure and if I have any questions, I've been given a person that I can call anytime. Turnaround for questions are usually within the day. Most of the time I actually get an answer right away. The one downfall I have is I am not always able to add a file myself to the website, but in turn if I email to them it's put on my website within the day.

This was the first web design company we have worked with and will definitely not be going back. Website was never updated with the changes that were requested. IF they were, it was in poor taste. The one thing that annoyed us was their unprofessionalism when it comes to processing and collecting payment. We had our CC's compromised so instead of calling for our new payment info, they sent us some threatening letter from an attorneys office that barely looks legitimate.

Sarah is my lifeline in the web world. She makes a point to call me once a month and discuss new options and asks questions, listens to my concrens, and most of all..... Gets results. Ive been with townsquare for 2 years now and my landscaping company has grown exponentially. From a 1 man 1 truck company, now 2 trucks and 2 full time crews and 8 awards.

Townsquare contacted me a couple years ago about their service. I took a chance and signed on. They created a website for me in days that was way better than my old one and within about a week my business picked up. Now I have been with them for years and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience with the account managers that I have had, the way they treat me, how quickly they make any changes I want to my website, and most importantly. . . how my website is almost always at the top of page one in all related searches for the services I provide. I now have so much work coming in that I have to turn away about half of it because I just simply cannot get to it all. I ve been using townsquare for my home improvement business for a few months. They ve been quick, amicable and have done some great work. I call with an update and they get on it right away and send me progress reports. I ve already recommended them to others.

Call them for your website and SEO needs

Initial sales pitch was great. Promised me the moon and never got my feet off the ground. My contact was going to another job and all I got was passed around from person to person. Never got my site where I wanted and it took forever to get a call back. They refunded me one month back but not the first. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME !!

Charges $400/month for simply hosting a website. You can host a website at similar speeds for $120/year through GoDaddy. Poor SEO services, after switching to a simpler website that we host, we have better SEO and as a result more traffic. I made a website that is of similar quality within 2 days without a whole team. They do they bare minimum to get you a website so they can get $400 from you a month. They have a no refund policy so if you cancel their service, they won't refund you for time unused. You must cancel before being charged or they'll tell you that you're out of luck!

TL;DR Scummy company that does the absolute bare minimum so they can squeeze money out of you.

Absolutely the worst company ever after 2 years seo is on page 20 for rankings when i canceled they continued to bill me for 3 months then sent me to a debit collector. they do not answer the phone and they only hire 17 year olds learning on your dollar to keep there expenses down. One Star is just to good of a review, I was called and hoodwinked into using there services. I was doing google and running my advertising myself and was doing great. The minute they got there hands on my pass codes they started changing things. I went just over a week with zero calls after they made there changes. I had to call and force them to put things back. What a nightmare! So now I got swindled out of 300.00 which I will be disputing with my bank and I can t say how many thousands in that week and a half I lost. Makes me sick. If they call you hang up, don t let them swindle you.

I was contacted by them in a way like they wanted work done then turned it into a sales pitch. Which is fine but the person was very unprofessional and rude once I told him I was not interested. Why would anyone e do business with someone who is rude and unprofessional on first contact.

Initially my experience was good. Everyone involved in getting my company signed up was awesome. The negative review comes from work produced and the treatment received after cancellation. I did not feel that the money spent on Townsquare's services were helping my business, if anything I felt lead on, so I decided to cancel. No big deal. The problem is I canceled on Monday but my payment was processed the previous Friday. They will not refund the money because I didn't cancel in time. I've already deleted their user accounts and changed passwords, which means they are charging me a full month for absolutely no work and will not refund my money because I missed the monthly renewal date by three days. This is bad business, technically they don't have to refund me but why treat people this way? The monthly payment means a great deal to a new and struggling business like mine, this was definetly a lesson learned.
