We hired TownSquare Interactive to increase our organic presence in the search engines. From the very start, the communication was simply nonexistent. When we didn't show interest in their services, they kept calling with more and more attractive discounts. Once they had our Credit Card, we barely heard from them. They made promises they later could not fulfill and gave a 90 day guarantee they refused to honor. We recorded our status the day we hired TownSquare Interactive and again once we gave notice of cancellation, and TownSquare Interactive has done next to nothing for our company's online presence.
For anyone considering hiring this company, understand that you will not be dealing with the person selling you the services after your initial agreement, and the tech tasked with providing you with these services, will not honor what the sales team promises.
Ask yourself this; are you willing to give your company's password and sensitive information to a group of people that represent their business and services like a scam? If TownSquare Interactive is willing to treat a paying customer like this, how are they going to treat a customer that cancels their services, while they still have access to your entire online presence? What will the repercussions of a bad review be?
We were willing to risk a few hundred dollars to see if TownSquare Interactive could positively change our organic online presence, and we would have been ignorant not to continue a relationship with a company that could provide these services successfully, even with their horrible communication... but TownSquare Interactive failed on every level and only proved to take our money with absolutely no services received.
Should anyone like to see transcripts of communications, emails and monthly reports regarding our experience with TownSquare Interactive, please feel free to contact us... even the monthly reports they send out, are 90% incomplete; we informed them of their extremely inaccurate reports the first month, and they continued in every report, every month after... no change, even after bringing their shortcomings to the representatives attention; again, absolutely no effort on their part.
Can you imagine how monetarily lucrative a business could be, by simply requesting all your paying clients be patient for at least 90 days before canceling services? You could find 1000 suckers and never have to actually do anything other than simply make a few phone calls, speak empty promises and reel them in... sounds like the true definition of 'scam'.
Once TownSquare Interactive agrees in writing, they will not use our company's sensitive information that they have received, to access any of our accounts, to defame or negatively impact our company in any way, as well as refund our monies, we will consider editing our review and/or remove it from all online forums.
