TownSquare Interactive are crooks, Catherine , Maddie and Taylor all worked together to con me out of $400 dollars. They first call you with a aggressive sales pitch and leave out all the key details that you should know about their process. Stay away from these people. Once I asked the questions I needed to ask and get the facts I was not happy that they failed to tell me these very important facts before taking my money! They will not refund your money either, I never used any of their services or any site of theirs and they still have my $400 that I received absolutely nothing in return but a major headache. Stay Away !
Oh.My.Gosh I cannot say enough great things about this place. I work in QA and everyone on my team, my manager, and everyone I have interacted with have been beyond amazing. Training is extensive and allows us to go at our own pace. The teamwork is something you will have a difficult time finding anywhere else. Everyone is jumping in to help each other out to go beyond goals. The entire office environment is open and positive. I'm not only happy to go to work each day but I'm excited. The company values their clients but also places a lot of value in employees. I'm sure there are some positions that are more stressful than others and there are some days that are more stressful than others but it's hard to have a bad day at work when you're surrounded by positive people.
I started with Townsquare about 5 months ago and have been very satisfied so far. The man running my campaign, Gordon Maas, has been outstanding. They built me a brand new website and I think it looks better than any of my local competitors. Gordon also gave recommendations that would help clients viewing my website, and whenever I have asked for any change to the website, it is completely very quickly. I made a good decision by working with Townsquare and they made a great decision by employing Gordon and others like him. I strongly recommend them!
Meredith convinced us to switch our business website and marketing over to town sqaure a few years ago. She was helpful, truthful, and would always be there for us if we had any questions or concerns. They helped us grow put business by 250% in 3 years. Anthony donato, my sales rep, has been very informative and responsive to my needs. The monthly report given is very detailed and I don't feel like my money's been thrown out the window. The other company I had, it seemed like they created my website and that was all they did and I was paying the monthly to do nothing except keep my domain open. These guys pay attention. They make suggestions on how to get better and so far so good.
My rep refused to make changes to my site. She had multiple misspelled words and bathroom remodeling information in the kitchen section. Completely refused to repair the website I had asked for the information so that I could get on the website and make changes to it myself I was told no When I canceled service she refused to redirect my Domain name back to my previous website. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone they are a rip off.

If you are looking for a good company for your website this one is definitely not one of them. It's been over a year when i signed up for their services paid more then $2500 and got zero results, when i called and asked them why my website isn't bringing any business I've been told that results don't come for a short period of time like a year and I need to spend a little more time and Iv'e been offered more aggressive ad's campaign for more money of course. Then I asked to cancel my services, they didn't want to do it and said that they want my business and they will improve, since I paid for a month in advance i decided to stay to see if they will improve anything or not, nothing has changed as for traffic what they actually did is adding a little more content to the website. So i canceled my services on the last day before billing and called credit card company to block the merchant, month later i got a call requesting for prompt payment and if I don't pay they will send it to collection agency So, I can't express how disappointed I am with this company. They promise everything to get you on board but none of their sales people promises gets delivered.

They will tell you one thing on one hand And with the other hand not work on your website do an extremely poor job with organic search and Literally steal your money and refuse to refund stating that it s impossible to refund a credit card and it s not their policy to refund money they have not worked for and will defend that to the bitter end I recommend not using this company for any of your Seo or any services for that matter. Do your research there are so many companies that will preform better for half the price and that s no exaggeration!

It has been 3 months since my onboarding and I still don't have a live website or email that was linked to my website. This is the first time in 15 years that I have been down on my website. At first they were a good company to work with, then that all changed. We were with them for about 2 years. We had about 5 different account mangers and had to start the process all over on getting to know each other and what we wanted our page to be like. Their account department is the main reason we left. Each month for the last 8 month with them they keep calling needing updated payment information, and each time we tell them we have not changed anything and gave them the same payment information. It got old fast. They also never keep the page updated with new photos from projects that were set over. We have changed companies and in the first month got a better service than we ever did i the 2 years with Town Square. When we changed companies we were told to call Town Square and get the domain information, we called 5 times and each time got the run around service that ended no were. They get new companies in there with a decent prices then shaft it to you. We did have a balance with them from the last two month we were with them and not once did we get a invoice to pay them. Last week we get the nasty letter from some joe blow lawyer, we did look them up form the address listed and found nothing, but demanded we pay or further action and damage to your credit would happen on behalf of Town Square. What a waste of time and unprofessional company.
After a year of planning and coordination, we are launching an important edit to our website which has required significant coordination between our CSM and a third party development team. Elisa P. (our new CSM) is absolutely rocking this update!! We are thankful to have her help. TSI should take note that Elisa P. out of the Charlotte office deserves a raise and promotion! Very intrusive business that repeatedly harasses small business to try to push their marketing. After repeatedly telling them I'm not interested in their service, they continue to call from different numbers after blocking them with several attempts. Accept that not everyone wants to be begged to earn their business..

Our medical center has been using Townsquare Interactive for over four years now. Before using Townsquare Interactive we had used a few other local web designs which resulted in negative outcomes. We have been extremely pleased with all of the representatives at Townsquare Interactive. They are prompt on return phone calls and the turnaround time on our website updates is the same day. I recommend Townsquare Interactive to every clinic manager that asks for advice on their websites.
I started using Townsquare back in July of 2017. At first, they were great. They originally made a website that overall, looked good. However, they became argumentative when I started telling them that certain text within the site was incorrect and was a bad or incorrect description of my company. They refused to fix several key elements of design, images, and text within the site almost from the very beginning. At one point after a lot of complaining, they set up a dropbox account for me to place pictures in so that they could update the website with new images (progress, I thought). They then didn't bother to update ANY of the pictures on the website from the dropbox (that I filled with new pictures) when they insisted this was the easiest way! Furthermore, after almost 3 years and 6 different account representatives (which just changed at random with no warning), I found that they were completely incompetent at updating the website, failed at maintaining a web presence and were increasingly difficult to get a hold of. They charged me $300 a month for 3 years for web hosting AND SEO services. After nearly 3 years (with a couple of months credit for complaining) that equates to nearly $10,000! What they don't bother to tell you is that they cannot seem to perform SEO services. My website's google rankings continued to plummet despite the fact that we have nothing but positive ratings on Google and multiple other sites because they would not correct any online presence for the website that THEY DESIGNED!!!! They tell you to contact your representative to fix slipping ratings (despite the fact that SEO services are supposed to be preemptive) and then the representatives do NOTHING to fix it. I can tell you that the services that they provided for me over this 3 years has NOT been worth $10,000. Do yourself a favor and skip these people as they are thieves! They literally charge you for something that they will NOT provide! Can you say fraud?
For some reason when I found out about Townsquare , I felt like I could trust them right away. I quickly saw the benefit of having Townsquare create my website and within a few days with no haults, my website was up and running. Everyone along the process of getting started did their job well, good customer service exists here, I had no 2nd thoughts. My account manager Meredith Avant has done a great job keeping my website looking good and updating it, she always checks in with me and I think things are going well and smoothly. I recommend if you do not have a good website right now to let Townsquare create you one and get your small business going. I read some bad reviews below and from my experience for almost a year now with Townsquare I am telling you this company does not deserve a 1 star review. They do their job. Just because they make you a website does not mean its going to be a sucess, your company name and your companies work quality has alot to do with it. You cant expect Townsquare to do everything for you, you also have to do your job to get your companies name out there, a good business owner needs to be creative and not fully rely on other people to make them a sucess, you have to get good reviews, be good at what you do, and obviously aside from what you pay Townsquare you have to spend money on marketing to further bring traffic . They can do alot but not everything .. A good business owner will know what to do, so its not on Townsquare. I still give them a 5 star review inspite of the other reviews here; why? Because the customer service is there, they treat you well and do things quickly, and they never let me down once. If anything I only let myself down by not going out and creating my own content like better HD quality pictures of my work, some well put together Videos of what I do, so I hope you get what I mean.

CROOKS!!! I put in a request Friday September 30, 2016 to cancel my account. I spoke with a friend of mine who's a higher up with the company that same day to see if he could help me expedite the process. My first returned phone call was today (exactly a week later) by Chris Ireland. Not only did he attempt to talk over me the whole time that I was on the phone, but he refuses to refund the charge made to my account for this months billing cycle when I requested the cancellation in advance. He says he has no record of a phone call on the 30th of September. I have text messages as proof that I contacted a TSI rep to cancel that same day. David Scism was the salesman who dealt with my company's website over the past year and provided me with very little service on any changes that needed to be made throughout the time my account was open. I encourage any business owner to invest with another marketing agency that values your business and effectively promotes it. What you get with Townsquare Interactive is outsourced services, ZERO phone support, unusually slow SEO results, and rushed website publishings containing grammatical errors and low quality images. I was also assured that I would be BBB Accredited and never was. If I am not reimbursed for a month of service that I'm not utilizing, my next step is contacting the BBB followed by an attorney and will be happy to team up with anyone else seeking litigation that's been victimized by their horrible business practices!

Townsquare has been nothing but helpful since I signed on with them. As a small business owner it can be scary to trust a big business with your marketing. Since the minute I signed up I have felt like I'm working with someone local. They take the time to understand my business and my goals. Since Covid started my business has taken a hit but they have made accommodations to make sure I can keep my site up and running. In April I was late on my bill and got a call from Jonah in the finance department. He was extremely helpful and genuinely cared how Covid was affecting my business. I could not have kept my business open through Covid without his help. He even gave me suggestions on making accommodations for my customers which were extremely helpful. When Covid starting picking up again in October I got behind on my payments again and called Jonah to see what he could do. He was able to decrease the amount I owed and set up a plan to get the bills taken care on my schedule. This has been the hardest time for my business yet and this experience has really solidified my trust in Townsquare. I have been treated like family and cant' imagine ever trusting anyone else with my marketing.

Only been with them a few months, but on sign up, I was promised account pause if work should slow up and I couldn t afford the money they asked for. Enter COVID and when I asked for that assistance, they would not honor that at all. They told me they would give a great discount but come bill time they took out the full amount. Had to cancel cause I could no longer afford it. Never had a job come in thru there effort which makes me question who they had working on my account at all and if the little guys matter. Very disappointed. I m out nearly 1200 and they will not give any assistance at all. They are liars and cheats. Sign up at your own risk. ( Friendly no doubt, but it s a facade.)

They will make many many promises that will not be kept. You will get passed around from person to person. Each will say they are going to fix what the other messed up. Your visibility will not increase. Your website will not exceed your expectations. Please do not believe the hype. They cant spell SEO, so dont believe that they know what that means. Spent 5 months with this company and received a total of only 2 calls from the website they built. Both calls were junk. When I cancelled the contract due to their poor performance, they even shutdown the website that I am paying for and built independently. This was throwing money down the drain. There are plenty of better options out there for this service.

Company designed my website as agreed. However, after a month and a half of no website inquiries from clients, I decided to cancel. Tried calling the company starting September but nobody answered or would return voicemails. Phone would just ring and ring. Some voicemails were even full that voicemails couldn't be left. Tried this repeatedly. When I did call to cancel on 10/6, some guy named Luis Gonzalez tried to upsell me saying he would improve my website, give me more search results, etc. I didn't even know who this guy was until that day. Around 10/7, I got charged for the current month and emailed/called Townsquare to figure out why when I thought I cancelled per call with Luis 10/6, Luis said I missed the deadline by 6 days to cancel per my billing date. They also said they couldn't find any emails/call logs from me calling them to cancel. I gave them the number I tried calling and my agent, I'm guessing is Luis Gonzalez, said if I wanted to cancel, why didn't I email them so they have a written record. I told Luis why do I have to email when I was given two phone numbers to call anytime for any questions or concerns. Besides, phone logs are written records because it shows time and date. Luis eventually told me they could not give a refund as it was already paid and its against their policy but he could give me one month free. Told him it does not matter what he gives me because they already made a profit off me and I just want to cancel at this point. Luis even told me that I need to have accountability for my actions for not cancelling on time and that they, Townsquare, do not hold themselves accountable for not returning voicemails or answering phone calls. He even told me that I have to be sympathetic for them because of the Corona Virus. Well, guess what, I still have to do my job with the Corona Virus just like everyone else does but for some reason, Townsquare including Luis doesnt have to do their jobs as expected? Not sure what company they're trying to run and using COVID as an excuse, but this is unethical. Please stay away from this company at all costs.

Was told by the salesperson who solicited me from Townsquare that the website that was customized for my business was my property. But after 24 months of my timely payments I decided to cancel because I believe I wasn t being taken seriously. So Townsquare really did a disservice for me and my business. Sorry Townsquare but you made me distrust any person or company who offers to build my website in the future. So I went from owning a perfectly fine website before Townsquare that didn t cost me nothing per month to a big blue blank screen that says called Townsquare about my website.

My experience so far with this company has been terrific and I'm shocked at the bad reviews online. They designed a beautiful website for my wife's store with very little direction. The design team from North Carolina has fulfilled every request and hit the nail on the head with the final product. The store's online presence has improved dramatically and we're looking forward to a long-term relationship with them. We're planning to sign up for more of their services in the near future.
Don't fall for their ploy. Some how they've been able to control their negative Google reviews but the REAL reviews are on Yelp. They build out a website but do NO marketing at all. I told Nikki from day one that if they are not going to generate business for my company then I can't use them. I still gave them over $1,500 and not one single phone call or lead. NOTHING. After 5 months I told Nikki I was done and of course she promised the world and 2 months more and still no marketing, phone calls, or leads, so more lying from them. They even tried to take my web domain when I stopped using them and I own the domain. You don't get any sleazier than that folks. Don't take my word for it check out Glassdoors.com for how the employees talk about what a scam this company is.

Lot's of fake reviews. This company is deceptive. Using a pseudo name to protect my identity for good reason, I can tell you this company lies lies lies. I wish I could go into greater detail but you can read what their own employees say about them. Take note of the HELPFUL votes on the negative marks vs the positive marks. They use cheap out dated templates, require each developer to deliver up to 5 projects per day - which is why the projects are all ugly - a typical design takes about 3-4 days for low budget and up to 2 weeks for higher budgets.
You get what you pay for. They will keep your stuff hostage if you decide to leave.
