If you re looking for a company to help with marketing and promoting you company Townsquare is the only way to go. I have had a working relationship with Townsquare for the last 4 plus years that has consisted of them managing the social media presence as well as the website for my previous employer. I m now a business owner myself and using another team never even crossed my mind.
I was lucky enough to end up with Audrey Karhoff managing my accoun, she is great at what she does. Audrey is as professional and as knowledgeable as one could be. Any question or concern I have is promptly answered by email or by call most times the same day. I have requested changes to our website or Facebook page that are usually done within an hour or so. From the day we signed up the folks at Townsquare have proven themselves to be a competent and reliable group who takes pride in what they do.

Thus far Townsquare has been great. In short order they have managed to get me on the 1st page of Google for several keywords, a feat that several other companies could not achieve in a much greater time period. They are attentive and receptive. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to increase their web presence or upgrade their website.

BEWARE TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT GIVING THEM YOUR DOMAIN NAME! They set up our Law Firm client several years ago and took full ownership of the domain! Put calls in to them because emails have not worked properly for nearly a month and they will not give I.T. acess to the account to even fix the emails because they claim they own the name. After checking, it appears they registered it as theirs and not the law firm's. Shameful that companies can get away with this. We'll see...pretty bold to take a Law Firm's domain!

Sedona is great to work with! I enjoy working with her and trust her with our online presence. Our business has improved dramatically from when we first started. From customer service to web layout and design, Sedona is experienced and knowledgeable and go's the extra mile!! There are a lot of companies out there that over promise and under deliver, Townsquare Interactive is not that kind of company. When it comes to getting your company name out there, we would highly recommend working with Sedona or any of the other great representatives at Townsquare Interactive!

Townsquare wouldn't unlock and give the authorizat...

Townsquare wouldn't unlock and give the authorization code for a customer's domain name. As another reviewer said, you're just a number to them and they will nickel-and-dime you, and get you into way overpriced, never-ending, service contracts for literally nothing (Google "SEO scam" or "SEO snake oil").

CRMs and customer tracking can be useful, but SEO is a relic from the past. Just keep your business' contact info updated on Google and Facebook, then do a good job and you'll get good word-of-mouth referrals which will give you WAY more business than these overpriced monthly service contracts...

Also, how the hell does every other site (Facebook, Yelp, etc.) have mostly critical reviews of Townsquare but Google Reviews has gleaming reviews? I wonder how many reviews are bots.

My website just went live so I don't have results yet but so far Townsquare has had outstanding customer service. They worked hard to convince me to get on board and so far I have not been disappointed. Everyone is very cheerful and helpful. Nowadays, it seems with most companies, it can be difficult to get someone on the phone to address one's issues. Every person I have worked with at Townsquare has worked hard to pin me down to address my issues. I am very impressed. Kudos! And thanks Cameron and Lauren.

So far getting everything started has been pleasurable. The only downside is the cost. I am looking forward to seeing what the money I have spent with them will create in revenue. I have had my own site for years but this seemed a better avenue for a more advanced and up to date site. Time will tell!!!

Being a very small Company, and trying to juggle all aspects of our business, we were skeptical with trusting anyone with our Website. we chose TownSquare Interactive a few years back with our fingers crossed that we made the right decision.
We had made many mistakes, previously ,with Companies that basically took our money, but never provided leads, or results.
Within a couple of weeks Townsquare proved that they were working for us!
Let me say, things with any Website takes time, and you as a business owner will need to put in a little effort to get the results that you want.
Townsquare, however, does everything to make sure that this process is as simple, easy, and painless.
I am guilty for not utilizing the offers that I was paying for but that never stopped my favorite web designer agent, Natalie Norman!
Natalie never gave up on me, but also made me feel that I was always in good hands.
Any idea I would throw at her, she was always enthusiastic, and on board with. Her attention to all that I asked to be on our site, was 100%
Sometimes I was so busy that I could not even pay attention to the website, it was the last on my list when it came to our customers, but Natalie saw that as our Company strengths, and worked even harder on making sure that our website was current and up to date.
Unfortunately, my Company thought that the grass was greener after almost four years with another new and upcoming website Company, and we left Townsquare, this was the biggest mistake our Company has ever made. Within two months, the new Company has still yet to put anything up.
Today we switched back to Townsquare. We are so happy too, because we will get our website back up, and we get to work with Natalie! She knows us so well and we know that we are in great hands, she knows our Company!
Townsquare is here for your Company and wants you, and your Company to succeed. They have very reasonable prices, especially for all that they do. They also do not trick, or force you into contracts, because they have no Contracts.
I want to let other business owners who are skeptical as a result of dealing with other Companies that promise your Company to be at the top of the Google listings page, Townsquare is the Company that can aid in helping your Company reach that goal, but it is really up to you, and Townsquare gives you that platform in order to achieve that goal.
Clog Busterz also wants to thank Mike Bell for being real, and candid with our Company and working with us, to make sure that we fully comprehend what Townsquare does for us. For a sales person, he didn't make us feel like he was forcing a sale, instead he made us feel like we were in a family who is working towards the same goal.

I ve got a total of six requests and two of them were repeat customers. They took my website down That I owned. Plumbing contractors beware I don t know what they re good at but it sure the hell isn t Plumbing.

Scott did a great job educating me on the previous marketing companies I was using, what I was getting, and where my money was going. I was so impressed with his presentation and knowledge of the industry that I cancelled all of the marketing I was then doing and signed on with Townsquare Interactive. Within a day or so I was contacted by Natalie on the welcome aboard team. She walked me through all the steps of the up coming website and marketing. Collected photos, company history, and information on how my company worked. All of this for half of what I was previously paying. I am excited to see the results in the up coming months and am looking forward to working with Townsquare Interactive.

Contacted them to help build my website and generate leads. Seemed very nice and appeared to be very knowledgeable in mitigation work. In addition to the website they were supposed to handle my Google business page. The website was very inferior and they basically copied what I had made. Contacted them several times to fix things and they just did it half a$$..... they promised they would fix it and even offered me a month free. They never touched the Google business page. They told me it would take time and they gave me a graph of supposed activity stating I recieve 2 calls from the website. I log all my calls and where they come from, nothing was generated from the website. I canceled them and then all of a sudden I get sent to collections for the month they said would be free. Got rid of them and found a company that knows what they are doing. They take your money and brush you off... poor service poor quality. Use caution do your research and find a company that knows what they are doing because Townsquare has no clue!

Wow. Ok, before I posted this I read many of their reviews, which are 5 star or 1 star. I laughed out loud until I realized that could happen to me.... The people that weren't happy, I sympathize. It's not easy being a business owner, but let me tell you my experience. I run a largely referral business but decided to google painters near me after creating a site with godaddy after 6 months and using their ranking "optimization" service. I wasnt on any page for almost any iteration of searches. I contacted godaddy and got a shrug. So I contacted a painter I know in Colorado who has a lot of sales and he referred me here. Thank God for that. I am now on the first page of google for most of my searches and moving up steadily. The people at town square have been incredible to work with. In name: Kassie Easter. Kassie, THANK YOU! In spite of the fact that I have not been accountable to you or done pretty much anything you asked me to, you have been patient, positive and responsive. I'm SO grateful! This is just my experience and opinion, but stop considering and pull the trigger and grow your business. When the phone starts ringing you will be glad you did.

Do NOT use these people. I wasted so much money by letting them redesign my website and "supposedly" do SEO. I could never get ahold of anyone for changes needed, no one would ever call me or email me back when I had questions. Then, when I learned to make the changes myself, a month later they changed their login information without notifying me. Then I couldn't make necessary changes at all. Finally I received a call when I threatened to cancel my service. Then all the sudden they cared. When I demanded they refund me for services I wasn't receiving or else I would cancel, they refused. So if you feel like throwing away your advertising dollars, hire them. Otherwise find someone local who will actually care and pay attention to your wants and needs.

I have not been at all happy with Townsquare since I started 6 months ago until Taylor Hudson took this account. If you are ever unhappy with Townsquare, ask to switch to switch to Taylor. I now have 2 Websites because of her. She is enthusiastic and diligent; and she gets things done right! She a a 5 star person!

Their team assists with our needs for our site immediately and creates beautiful ones. That is just the tip of the iceberg. If I could give them 0 stars I would. My husband and I own a moving company and have put our blood sweat and tears into building a reputable business... and collection reviews over the years was a big part of our focus. We had 60+ reviews on Google and were #1 in our area organically. Town Square Interactive made us so many promises and not only did they not deliver but they single handedly shut down our Google listing by claiming we had a second location that was actually our home and mailing address. Not only did we not authorize this but the act of activating this location wiped us off Google all together along with all of our hard work...Ever time we called they told us they were working on it. Two months went by and they made us promise after promise that the reviews would be restored and that they were working directly with Google. Finally we said "ENOUGH" and canceled. Through this process we called google ourselves just to find out that Townsquare interactive NEVER even opened a claim with them or tried to recover our reviews. This has devastated our business to say the least! I want to warn any hard working business owner to stay far away from this company! They will lie and tell you what you want to hear to get your money then leave you high and dry.

Just got off the phone with a "National Account Executive". While discussing whether or not to go ahead with their services, I was highlighting some issues that I'd had with the terms and conditions. I explained how it was going to take some time to decide whether it was worth the large investment (proportional to competitors); especially with my objection to their infallible right to any material that resembles anything close to their work (that's a potential legal quagmire waiting to happen). While explaining all of these things with one of their representatives and how I didn't want to burn any bridges, but that our business was unable to give a clear, well-though-out answer this very moment, he abruptly cut the call short. He told me (with a slight bit of finesse), " I have some real work to do today, stop wasting my time." He hung up and ended the all of 2 minute conversation. I was seconds from telling him to call back next week, and that we'd most likely weighed the pro's and con's. I guess they don't want our business? Oh well, no skin off my bones, however a warning to the wise; read all terms and conditions, reviews, materials and any other literature that is available. I found mixed reviews and had mixed results as well. A marketing firm should know how these kinds experiences affect future business, and appropriately take measures of oversight and quality controls to ensure that this doesn't happen. Regardless they will do all in their power to make this review hard to find. I would make it a one star if it would't mean that less people would see it.

TL;DR: Read your terms and conditions/ reviews, and don't expect 100% professional courtesy from Townsquare

I was with townsquare for a year and couldn't be more displeased with the service. The hardest they worked was selling me on their service. Once a commitment was made and monthly payments hitting my credit card my account was on auto pilot with very little being done. I received many calls from townsquare during my time just jamming more product down my throat when the original work I hired them for was hardly performing as it was. Buyer beware! I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.

I cancelled my account with townsquare after about 7 months. I am in the home services industry. The sales people will tell you about all this work you're missing out on because your website is not set up the way google wants it. I feel Townsquare solicits brand new businesses and sells empty promises. I never saw a boost in calls even after 6 months. The support was lacking. And good luck trying to get customer service on their 800 number. My calls actually skyrocketed after cancelling townsquare. I have no idea why. Maybe a coincidence.

They did build a nice website but it was a hassle to get any changes made after the initial roll out. I was aware they would keep the website after cancelling so I had another one for back up.

In a nutshell I feel I paid $2800.00 for a temporary website and empty promises. Some blame could be put on me for not stepping up social media but it's really the sales team and tactics that are misleading.

In hindsight I would stay with a local marketing person or company I could actually talk to in person. Nothing takes place of good reviews and word of mouth.

They are okay for a new business starting up but I wouldn't recommend it for someone who is trying to look very professional.

Pros:
-Affordable
-Customer Service

Cons:
-There content creators try too hard with keywords and it makes content look un-natural(Which google looks at)
-Website design is bad
-SEO is bad(They charged me for SEO but had no xml site, no alt texts on images, page speed 45 out of 100, 11% text/html ratio, the list goes on for me)
-When I went to cancel my membership, they literally ignored me for weeks. I sent tons of emails/phone calls.

I would of given an extra star on review if they wouldn't of started acting wierd as soon as I was trying to cancel.

I have been with Townsquare for well over a year now and have decided to go a different direction with my online presence. Obviously this is because I'm not receiving the results I expected. I cancelled my service the day prior to my billing date for the next month. Card was charged which I have since disputed. Was left a bland voicemail from my TSI guy not about why we are leaving them but why the card was charged. His excuse was that I had to cancel the day before the billing cycle not the day of. Well, as we all know, I did cancel the day before because I have the email dated to prove it. His excuse was also that he was off that day and didn't get my email which isn't my problem. Among this issue, the website is extremely bland, stock photos being used with other companies competing with me IN MY MARKET. In conclusion, they act like they care a lot on the phone, but they don't really do anything other than what we can't see, I suppose. However, when I'm paying $697/month, ZERO clicks to calls going through our website is not acceptable. I requested a couple very easy changes to my website (like adjusting the language of our service area) about a month ago and that still hasn't been done. I gave them a LOT more time than I should have which is what they ask for when you sign up: "Give us time. It takes time." If they send me my login info to my website I'll adjust part of this review and give them more stars.

The site looks good, the people have been nice to work with. However it has taken a long time to get the site where we wanted it. After working with a few reps that were not able to get things done timely and communication gaps on both Townsquare and OUR own parts...we have connected with a rep who truly seems to care and is going above and beyond to help our business grow and is staying in touch to make sure we are satisfied. Terrible communication efforts, website was wiped clean after I opted out of their subscription service. Lost all my SEO positions, and was left without a website for a week before I realized and had something put up. Manager was rude when I wanted to cancel. I feel like I was taken advantage of.

I was called to have my website redesigned for SEO...

I was called to have my website redesigned for SEO. They have a great presentation that outlines what they do. They made it a point to let me know that the hosting was month to month and I could leave at any time if they were not performing to what they said they would do. My concern is that if I were to leave, would the site I paid them to create still be mine. They said yes. The content would still be my property. All good then!

A rep called and we spoke at length about my needs and expectations.
The website launched in a timely manner. However the site was nothing like we discussed. I waited another week while they got everything up to standard. They were professional and indeed my SEO rankings raised to second for my city. I had a phone line attached to this site and only this site to measure the conversion to appointments. In six weeks time, my phone did not ring once. Not even B2B calls! Crazy I know...

So I decided for whatever reason, my business did not benefit the high cost of their service. If my phone would have had just a single call, I would have had something to hold onto. Unfortunately I just could not justify the expense.

I let them know the news. They were professional and understanding.

So why the one star review? Because indeed I have the content of the site. However- they don't tell you that the site is built with their proprietary software so it cannot be hosted by my original company I left or any other company, leaving the site useless.

So now I am out 2 sites that I paid for- my original and the one they created. That's a total of $3000 invested with nothing to show for it. I am going to have to create a site myself, (which wont nearly be as nice).

Maybe they will do a good job for you. Me? I'm screwed!

They will continue to take the money out of your account, and the WRONG amount at that, but won't answer you when you need them to. This is a bit ridiculous.

I've worked with Townsquare Interactive for over 4 years; I personally have nearly 4 decades of experience working in the advertising industry.
I recently worked with Josh DeLong, Digital Marketing Specialist at TI.
I rarely write reviews on individuals but Josh did a truly outstanding job and deserves recognition! Josh listened carefully without interrupting me and understood my concerns and requests. He performed the work during our phone conversation and politely offered his own ideas/suggestions. Working together we completed the task and actually achieved more than I'd expected. I believe Josh is honest, competent, employs great customer service skills, and has the client's best interest at heart. Thank you Josh DeLong for a job well done!

I contacted this company to help build my business. They seemed very knowledgeable and very eager to help. After they took my money and built a website literally all the support stopped. Our account handler didn t do as we asked in terms of changes on the website or where to advertise. After multiple calls to them and finally canceling. They pulled another months money and literally we had to call 3-4 times a week to get our money back.... They say if you cancel you get to keep your website. Well..... I looked today and they shut it down.
I m a small business owner and any money spent on this company would be waisted money. I literally would look at a more reputable company to do business with. After all this, I would advise getting someone to build a website and look at doing it yourself. This literally has left a bad taste in my mouth with these types of online companies.
FYI they say if you cancel the website is yours and they give it to you
Don t buy into it. It s about service after the sale. I don t leave comments on business but if you re reading this, STAY AWAY!
My wife and I are setting up our own website with GoDaddy.
High recommend doing that over using any of their services.

They promise great things and deliver nothing. The website looks like a kid built it. Full of errors and typos and after multiple attempts to get it corrected I gave up, cancelled my order and disputed the charge, they disputed the charge back and stole $300 from me. Nothing but a scam, stay away.

had nothing but good luck . I've had about 46 jobs this year so far , only did 42 all of last year . In the roofing business you're supposed to get in and get out , and it's got to look better than the day before we got there .

This company lies. They do the minimum and ask for a lot in return. My competition stayed in the lead as my company name with my services focal points were trailing far behind. I was promised page 1 results and new customers. I was told when I began an agreement with this company that they would give me a refund if they didn't increase my business. They are good at digging for the side jobs that you can do so that they can make excuses to not fulfilling their guarantee. I was lied to and taken advantage. I was just recuperating from covid and hoping for a break. I'm a hard worker and honest. I would not take advantage of anyone like how they have done me. Don't use these guys. They aren't worth the hassle.

I have been working with Townsquare media for about a month. My website looks Great! I am very excited about it. The staff is great to work with and are interested in getting it right.
The only reason i did not rate them a "5" is that it seems to be taking a lot of phone calls to get all of the glitches and errors in my website worked out. It would be easier and more effective to convey all of the information in one extended phone call instead of streaming it in small pieces
