After a previous very positive experience with Tioga Tours, we had booked an 8 week camper tour through America with departure date March 2020. Due to Corona, this trip was canceled. That was disappointing. Tioga has handled the cancellation of the trip very well. First we were sent a Voucher and we were kept continuously informed. Six months after issuing the Voucher, we asked for a refund of the costs and within a few days the full amount of the package trip was on our account. Nothing but praise for this tour company, despite the difficult time they are no doubt going through.

Tioga tours is a super customer-friendly company. We have booked with them twice before and always with great satisfaction. Unfortunately we could not make the camper trip to Canada this year. Corona virus prevented us from going. We received a voucer for the costs incurred and this is now neatly paid back to us.
We experience this as very positive but realize that they are going through a very difficult time. Hopefully you will get over this time.

Surprised by the location, experience and experienced staff. Good advice, even now in the settlement of the cancellation in connection with Covid 19.

In mutual consultation, we booked a car trip through America at Tioga Tours a few months ago, which we were looking forward to in the first instance, however, due to the global developments regarding the Corona virus and the rapidly increasing racial unrest and demonstration throughout America, this was already quickly less and less.
Until we were told at the beginning of August that the trip was canceled and we received a voucher worth our deposit (almost 2000). It could then take at least 6 to 7 months before any money could be given back, we thought that was a very long time, partly because we had already had a number of bad experiences with other travel agencies. At the end of last week I still sent an email to Tioga asking if the money could not be refunded earlier and yes, within 2 days the full amount was refunded to my account! Tribute for this fast and neat action of Tioga Tours, this gives peace again and a lot of confidence in this company, which certainly does not have an easy time in these times. In any case, it is an address to return to in the future when everything is a bit quieter in America. Thanks everyone.

Nothing but praise! We have arranged everything online with Tioga Tours. Even a route planned in the southwest of the USA, that's easy with the tool on the website. Then came the travel proposal quickly. We have adjusted some hotels following the reviews on the Tioga site. The reviews and travel reports are very useful to read. With the vouchers and tickets you will also receive a personal travel guide that is very to the point. We have really used it as a guide for our holiday. The e-mail traffic is smooth, you always get the answer the same day. I can not think of anything negative, and would definitely work with them again for a next trip. Booked a camper trip with Tioga in January. Because this would be our first camper holiday, we had quite a few questions that were always answered quickly and exceptionally friendly. Due to the current situation, we unfortunately had to cancel our upcoming trip, which was easy and fast. We received cancellation the same day and the refund was on the account the next day. Again, all arranged by very friendly staff. As soon as possible, we will definitely book a new trip with this organization, highly recommended!

Four years ago we made a camper trip through Southwest America. We booked it through Tioga Tours. Contact with Tioga was professional and very positive and their website is very helpful in planning the trip. It was a wonderful journey. This year (2020) a trip through Northwest America was on the program, but of course it could not take place due to the corona measures. Tioga Tours has communicated this proactively and clearly. At first we got a voucher and we all had the hope that we could book again soon. The paid travel sum has now been refunded. As soon as it is possible again we will catch up on our trip and we will certainly book again through Tioga Tours.

Already booked twice with this organization. Very much and good help in planning the trip. All advisers are experienced experts very friendly and listen carefully to you. They are really trying to find the most economical option. You can also open your own account on their site where you can plan your own journey. Oh and recently in Zwolle instead of Sintjansk monastery.

Finest travel company I have ever booked with. Quotations often go the same day and in case of problems on holiday they take immediate action. Do everything to give you a great holiday and are also competent. I don't book anywhere else for trips to North America - by far the most customer-friendly company I know.

Used their services to go to the USA about six or seven times between 2006 and 2016, once on very short notice. They have always been very welcoming and accommodating and I have never had any issues when booking through them.

We have excellent experiences with Tioga tours. Friendly welcome and very helpful. Questions by e-mail were always answered quickly. The website also provides a lot of useful information. A nice trip compiled, after which a nice route book with all kinds of tips was made for us.

We have booked a trip to Tioga tours because my parents had already done this before and this was good.
We were well helped and received good advice, only they made a big mistake for us and this was not necessary.
We wanted to fly a class higher because of the long journey time and can not sleep on the plane then it is so nice to have at least good seats. We have indicated this during the interview, but her answer was yes, you have to change this yourself to a higher class in society.
At KLM this is not a problem, but we fly back with Delta and with this company you immediately have to do this with books. So we have been misinformed about this. Having been in contact with Tioga tours again, said we could not / did not want to help and meet with this. It would cost us thousands of euros to transfer this, while if this went right, a few hundred would cost.
I find it very unfortunate that we have been misinformed by this organization otherwise we would have taken it very differently and there was not already a wrong stamp on our journey that you only 1 or 2x in your life is going to make. Very unfortunate that they do not admit their mistake and can accommodate us.

Last year we booked a nice trip through the USA and Canada at Tioga. In this phase we were already very pleased with the positivity, flexibility and professionalism of the Tioga employees. Despite the fact that we kept adjusting the trip, the response was friendly and super fast every time. Our disappointment was great when our journey could not go ahead due to COVID-19. Tioga has kept us well informed throughout the entire period, did not allow us to pay the remaining payment anyway and properly issued a voucher for the amount already paid. Today we learned that they were able to refund us the voucher amount, which we are just super happy with in these times. It is so refreshing to see that we never had to take the initiative for an update. Tioga has regularly updated us on the situation and has treated us openly, fairly and correctly. Other companies can really learn from this. The trip to America, although postponed, is certainly not over. If we are ready, we will 100% sure use Tioga Tours to book it.

Despite the fact that due to the corona pandemic we are (for the time being) unable to leave for our road trip across the States, I have a very good experience with tioga tours, first with the planning and booking, and then with the cancellation until the refund of the outstanding advance. On first contact of their professional website (especially the planning tool appealed to me), I had a good gut feeling that was only reinforced throughout the process. Their clear and punctual communication, even if it was / is difficult for tioga tours, has an important added value for me. I hope that the company survives the corona crisis, so that - once that intercontinental travel can happen again under normal circumstances - we can plan our dream trip together with them and really experience it this time.

On the recommendation of family through this organization our trip to Canada and America booked with the camper. What an incredibly nice customer approach they have here at Tioga Tours. It didn't matter how many questions we had, both by phone and by email we were always helped quickly and effectively in a very friendly way.

After payment received a handy roadbook with lots of info and tips. All documents nicely arranged and nowhere in hotels, car rental or on excursions had problems with vouchers. The trip was arranged perfectly! Top!

Until after the tender confirmation they suddenly asked for an extra 500+ euros. I had rented a campervan and apparently that company had made a change regarding the insurance, which had to be taken out with them for an additional 500+ euros. Tioga Tours had recommended a European Insurance in advance, which covered better and was cheaper, but came with this news shortly after the offer confirmation.

The fact that they recommended me insurance that apparently was not enough to continue the trip did not bother them. I had to come up with the extra money myself. As a student 500 extra for an insurance that covers less and covers the same as the European Insurance for the rest was ridiculous. I am convinced that this is the responsibility of Tioga Tours. She refused to compensate.

After extensive mail contact, they got to my knowledge that it is their responsibility. They decided to pay me 150 euros. That was not enough for me. Second mail: they decided to reimburse me 250 euros. Not enough. Third mail: 350 euros was reimbursed. It got ridiculous at this point. Out of pride they didn't want to pay me the full fee, but 350 was fine?

Deal accepted, no sense in legal hassle. Not a good word about for Tioga Tours.

Excellent service, good communication via email and telephone. Very satisfied, too bad that the journey could not continue due to the corona pandemic. Ultimately, the entire travel sum was also returned without any problems.

Already booked a camper in 2019 for our America tour in 2020. So unfortunately it was canceled. But all contacts with Tioga Tours were very pleasant. Helped very well with booking a motorhome and campsites for our planned trip to Canada in 2020, which unfortunately was canceled due to Corona. Handy website to compile your own route. Tioga Tours acted properly and communicated clearly when it turned out that the trip could not go ahead. We booked a tour through North America and Canada with Tioga in October 2019. This was done in a pleasant and very professional manner. During the conversations it was immediately understood what our wishes were, clear information was provided and the agreements were met very punctually. We were so happy with our travel plans for 2020. Unfortunately Corona threw a spanner in the works. Well before departure we received a message from Tioga about the procedure. We received our voucher on the agreed day. Last week we received an email from Tioga that refunds could be made if we wanted. The same afternoon the money was in our account. Great service from Tioga.

I am still such a researcher who scans the internet for days looking for the best and (we are Dutch) cheapest offer. The result is often square eyes of a computer screen and a sore head, only to find out in the last comparison that they have already done all that for you in Sint Jansklooster. Never do so again! It is definitely not worth it. Immediately after Tioga and everything goes well!

We had planned a dream trip for 2020, with the family to the USA. Tioga Tours has advised us optimally in this regard, extensive help, a very handy online route planner, in other words, all the possibilities to put together not a standard but a tailor-made trip for us!

Unfortunately, then came corona ..., here too I am very satisfied with the clear communication and of course the initial receipt of a travel voucher. Now it appears that in 2021 it will not be possible to go to the USA, they have refunded the amount paid.

We had booked a trip to Canada with a jeep via Tioga and there was suddenly the Covid crisis. Unfortunately we have to catch up on the trip another time, but thanks to Tioga we got our deposits back. If the weather is allowed, we will certainly pick up again with Tioga Tours!

Everything was round until corona threw a spanner in the works. Tioga kept us well informed, they also contacted us by phone to answer any questions.
