SALES VISIT - NEW
"80km ( Hamilton To Thornhill )." - robynmark
Surfed the net to find a good price at this dealer. Sent an email that was quickly answered by the sales Manager,( Eddie Li ). We discussed numbers over the phone and email.
Numbers sounded good, but wondered if they would change when I went all the way down to the dealership. We went down and where greeted in a friendly and helpful way.
Eddie Li ( Sales Manager ) made time during a busy night to sit and go over everything we spoke, and emailed about. He was transparent, honest but most of all kept his word.
The deal was made Monday night and delivery was set for Saturday. When we picked up the car, Tara Fallah sales rep, went over the paperwork and all the functions of our new car to make sure we were happy.
I have been purchasing cars for over thirty years, and happy to say that this experience was the best I ever had. They did what they said, and said what they did!
No games were played, or back and forth from sales person to manager.
I'm now, an owner of the New Hyundai Palisade.
I will definitely recommend this dealership to my friends.

After reading my review the present managers have called me personally and are doing their best to ensure that my next visit at this dealership will be a pleasant one. I bought a used Toyota prius here. The car was great but the service was horrible and the sales Rep is a crook and don't understand how he hasn't been fired yet. Before the test drive he purposely had the car park so I wouldn't have to reverse it out of the spot and when the test drive was over he stopped me before I could attempt a reverse park and said to park it straight forward into a spot. After we told him we would like to purchase the car he asked us if we needed all the extras like backup camera and new tires etc... The backup camera was $600 and he said they will install the screen into the mirror inside the car. I said no thank you and asked if the car came with two keys and he said that it did and also asked that the car be detailed before I could pick it up as he originally promised. When I finally got the car the cabin was messy and no second key was available. He said that the key had been lost by a technician and if that I wanted one I had to pay $400. I said no that wasn't my fault you owe me a key. I would call multiple times to speak to a manager but even the manager would lie to me saying that he was going on vacation and would deal with it in two weeks when he gets back. I went to the dealership and that same manager on the phone was there in person every time I went for the next two weeks. This went on for two months till the General Manager (seemed like a really nice guy) finally got me a key for 'free' (time is money and they wasted two months of mine lying to me). And to go back to the backup camera, we realized that the car had already come with one originally installed by Toyota when it was first bought. Even the sales papers had the backup camera in them as a feature but this snake almost lured me into giving him $600 for something that the car already had. I love my car but I hate these crooks. No one should ever buy from them!!
Lmao worst dealer of all time!!! I read these reviews and laugh because this dealership hasn't changed one bit lol scams and selling lemons (like I bought) .. one review below on how they were saying he needed a new wheel bearing lol anything to make a dollar!!! I bought a 2014 from there and I had the worse experience ever!!!! Everyone has smiles when u $$$ comes out but after everyone is to busy to help and that's when u get the run around!! Stay far far far far away from this lemon dealership!!! I travel farther now if I have any issues at maple hyundai and let me tell you the drive is worth it.... always on the ball and more loyal and honest then Thornhill!!!

In recent days I went to the Hyundai dealership in Thornhill for a test drive and to find out more about the car I wanted to buy. Mohsin Sheikh attended me, who offered me special treatment and excellent customer service. We moved in different quotes and payment options, we negotiated and I was very impressed with the quality of service that they provided me at that time. At the same time I want to thank Abmed because he got me a good deal to trade-in my car. At the end I bought my new car, and I was very satisfied with the price and the services that I obtained with the purchase.
I recommend them 100%, ask for them.
Lost my business. Had me test drive a dirty filthy car on their lot. Salesman not knowledgable about car at all. When asked if it was accident free, salesman responded with "I guess so" came here interested in buying a car left here disappointed and will not return to this dealership again. Poor effort
They are really nice up until you sign the contract. Then they start treating you like dirt and show a lot of disrespect. The worst part is their service center. They are rude, unorganized and will waste your time. I had a 7:50am booking with Ed today... and apparently it was his day off! The only other relationship manager (who showed up at 9:00am) refused to help me since Ed was taking care of the account and they had a big line of people waiting to be served (who all showed up after me). Never going back again.

I just purchased a Hyundai Venue. The sales person I dealt with was Onur Onder. He was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. As a first time car purchaser, I appreciate that Onur took the time explain everything along with giving me some great advice. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle do so at Thornhill Hyundai and that they deal with Onur Onder.

Worst experience as i bought Elantra 2020 2 years ago at approval rate 6.99% which i can easily get at 0 as it was my first experience for buying they ripped me off by saying don t buy used one as they told it interest gonna be 7% on it but when I bought new 2021 they charge it by 6.99 Approval i mean what difference they gave me and most important they never gonna pick your call after you bought it. I would suggest to give visit some other showroom before to this showroom.

Just picked up my new car today, this was my second time buying a car here and it was a good experience both times. We were helped by Sonia, she was very upbeat and friendly throughout the entire process and we never felt overly pressured. She also made sure we got our first pick of colour and that we would not have to wait too long for the car to be ready.
I called to get a rough estimate for the replacement of a clutch and bearing and was told that I needed to bring my car into the shop despite the fact that I had already had an inspection done and the clutch and bearing had already been diagnosed. There was no bother to ask if I had already done so

This is limited to the Engine assembly and internal lubricated components; emissions control equipment (catalytic converters), sensors (including oxygen sensor, mass air-flow sensor, MAP sensor, throttle body position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, oil pressure sensor, coolant temperature sensor); Transaxle assembly and internal components; axle shafts and differentials.
This consideration will be applicable for a period of 1 year or 20,000km from time of vehicle delivery (whichever occurs first). This consideration does not supplant the recommended maintenances for which the owner/operator of the vehicle will be responsible, and does not apply to items that would be considered subject to wear/tear under normal operation of the vehicle. Consideration will only be made towards repairs as performed by Thornhill Hyundai and are subject to the discretion of the General Manager. This consideration is non-transferrable and is applicable only to VIN as listed above.
Since we had Hyundai Canada request the service reports and finally have received them and not ONCE does the service reports mention that Richard Vostcamp or anyone at the dealership had ever looked into the issue we complained about since day 1 with the slippage on the rear end differential. Now my wife and I had to fork over $1300 out of our own pockets to replace what they promised they would take care but went back on their word. Once again anyone reading this do not buy from this dealership - even talking to Hyundai Canada themselves they assured me this is not the first complaint they have had with this dealership!

I researched the car and was prepared for the negotiation process.
The entire transaction took less than an hour.
Luiza was pleasant, easy to talk to and conducted herself in a very professional manner.
She pointed out the features and benefits convincing me that this car was great value for the money.

We spent the last half hour talking about everything but cars! Travel, great restaurants and music.

Worst part would be that they give you a price by their sales people and then the sales manager comes and tells you that they can't honor their promises from the day before.
Mohsin Sheikh was a great salesman by breaking down the cost and add ons. He took his time with my husband and I, and ensured that all our questions were answered as well as providing complimentary licence plate frames. He gave our new sonata wheel locks as well as a touch up pen, mud guards for the wheels and winter mats. The dealership also has a nice complimentary espresso and coffee machine. Great experience all around.

One of the sale consultant came and said we cannot approve your finance because I am an international student, even my credit score is 710 tro 730 and I left eventually. Today, I sent an email to your finance manager in order to try again and he said he could approve my situation, but the car sold yesterday. How unprofessional the sale consultant was. I dont remember her exact name but she sat opposited the receptionist. Her name is Tarra if I am not wrong.

If you are looking to buy a Hyundai, I suggest that you go to see Emelia at Thornhill Hyundai. I had a terrible experience at Downtown Hyundai so I drove up to Thornhill on December 31, 2018 (Mainly because I had a very good dealing with Greg Carrasco when he managed Oakville Hyundai in 2015/2016). I met Emelia at around 20 minutes to closing time. (1:40 PM I think) She stayed late and was beyond great with me. Believe it or not, I was satisfied and happy with my trade in value. She actually listened to what I had to say and I had a new 2019 SantaFe by 5 PM. What is it about some dealership salespeople? I don't need the best deal in the world. I just want a fair, honest transaction and above all I don't want be played like a fool. Emelia was straight up and pleasant with me. She gets 5 stars from me.
Never go to them for service THE ONLY THING THEY CARE IS YOUR MONEY they charged us $150 for checking the key battery and they said they can t because my key had problem but still they charged me that money!!!!! 1 HOUR LABOR FEE FOR KEY BATTERY ?!!!?!!!?!!

Staff were friendly but service was extremely slow. I was told the service would take at the most 90 minutes, and that I would be called at home by then. However, I was not called for another 43 minutes after the deadline passed.

"The worst "customer service" EVER!"
Please don't be fooled by some of the high ratings on here, they are either fake reviews by the dealership or are from new customers who have yet to experience the poor service. The day I purchased my vehicles from them, I had gone in to Hyundai just to look at my options and maybe test drive a few cars. Needless to say, I walked out of the dealership a few hours later with a brand new car. This is becaues the salespeople RUSHED and PUSHED me to purchase the car and also convinced me to buy the extended warranty for it. I didn't want to get the extended warranty, but they told me that if I didn't use the warranty, it would be refunded to me when the warranty period ended. It was a lie, they didn't pay it back. The second time I had a problem with the dealership was when they inspected my car before I left it for service. We did a walk around and they didn't find any scratches or dents on it (because there weren't any) and gave me the inspection report showing no marks of any scratches/dents. When I picked up the car, it had a huge scratch on the rear bumper and interestingly, their copy of the inspection report indicated that there were scratches on the car previous to them servicing it. This is Fraud! They changed the information on the report to make it seem as though the new scratches on the car had been there before. The service manager told me "good luck if you think we will pay to have your bumper fixed!". It's just as stupid as it sounds... what's the point of that inspection report that they give to people? Hyundai Canada asked me to contact the branch GM for a resolution, we'll see...

My review is about the SERVICE DEPARTMENT, when i got my appointment i was told it takes couple of hours to do oil change and Tire swap ( witer to Summer ) then when i got there i was told it's going to be about 4 hours i said ok they give me a ride home then called them after 4 hours they said it's not done yet. finaly i picked up my car after 7 Hours and a Half !!!

Though it took several trips to identify the issue causing the battery of my 2012 Elantra to frequently drain over night the service team was determined to resolve the issue and they finally did! The attitude of Mimi and Derek with the service team was constantly encouraging and reassuring. They were not going to give up on me. Thornhill Hyundai and its customers are lucky to have such dedicated staff. Your hard work is appreciated and will always keep me coming back.
Bad service, no respect to customers time, I was there two times, It takes more than 3 hours to do an oil change....I wouldn't go again...I don't recommend
This dealership is the least professional and inconsistent place to purchase a car. One person will tell you one thing then another will tell you something totally different. We bought a car and the salesperson informed us that winter tires would cost around $700 then once we finished the purchase and came back to pick up the car another person told us its between $900-$1500. To add insult to injury they wasted one hour of our time and couldn t process the refund for the deposit we had given which was $2500. We had to come back on a separate day to get the deposit back.

We purchased our Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo here in 2016 and I've been in love with our car ever since! The reason for my review today is to say a big Thank-You to the Service Dept. and Staff at Thornhill Hyundai. I had to bring the vehicle in several times since some parts had to be special ordered. Salar was my advisor each time and he was friendly, knowledgable and compassionate, he also made sure my car was well serviced.
It goes beyond that though, since I now live in Aurora (way outside the shuttle area from Thornhill), here is why my loyalties to this dealership stay true... Salar arranged to have me picked up, got me a rental when something took several days, and on another occasion arranged a quiet office space for me to work in while I waited. The attention to detail in customer service, (from the moment you get out of your car, to everyone in between who are ready to help), is excellent and not something I will forget.
