I recently bought a used Tucson from Thornhill Hyundai through Hardip. Hardip absolutely has your back and will not let you sign anything unless it's exactly what you agreed upon. He's not just sending people through for quick sales- he really has your best interest at heart. Great guy!

I did not purchase my car from Thornhill Hyundai and chose to purchase my new elantra at Aurora Hyundai which was closer to my home. I have enjoyed the car and the purchase experience but have felt since the first day, the service department was a major step below the sales team. My interactions were always met with a disgruntled service advisor or manager neither friendly nor helpful. I have since moved elsewhere to service my vehicle.

I have now purchased part for my car from Thornhill Hyundai on several occasions. I have dealt with Yasser from the parts department . His customer service is nothing short of superb. What a solid embassador for this dealership! He is not just helpful but has been caring and truly understands what great service is all about.

I am planning on purchasing a new car next year. I have honestly been skeptical on buying another Hyundai just based on my service experience. Not only will I now reconsider and buy a Hyundai but I will be getting that vehicle from Thornhill Hyundai.

BUYER BEWARE - UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST
I give this dealership 0 stars.
On two occasions I went to this dealership (which is quite a drive for me) with the full intention of buying a car. Both times they messed up and both times I took my money elsewhere.
1st time I called and confirmed they had the car multiple times, yet after a horrendous commute they tell me they don't have the car on the lot.
2nd time I spoke with a salesperson countless times, set a date and time for me to see the car in question. I get there, she cant find the car. Then after some time she finds it and asks that I walk with her to the back of the building. I go to find the car, which I was told was in mint condition, missing it's whole front end. Again, my time wasted. Again, unprofessional service....and is this a chop shop? why remove the front end of a car that should have been in mint condition?
This place is a joke....dishonest and unprofessional.....go elsewhere.

I was happy that the oil change only took 40 minutes instead of the minimum 1 1/2 to 2 hours I was told it would take. I have never been anywhere where an oil change takes 2 hours, what is the point of booking an appointment if you can't do the job when you say you are going to do it.

Great experience at this place. I visited other Hyundai dealerships before coming to this one. Any dealership is as good as its people. I dealt with Afsheen Baig and she is amazing. Never dealt with a sales manager as approachable as her. It's because of her that I bought my first Hyundai.

I came to Thornhill Hyundai after hearing about it...

I came to Thornhill Hyundai after hearing about it on the Greg Carrasco Show on AM640. I was greeted by Sonia as soon as I walked in. She made me feel welcome, took the time to go through all of my questions and helped pair me with the car that was right for all of my specifications. By far the best and easiest experience I ve had buying a car to date. Carina also made all of the paperwork a breeze, coupled with a great fun conversation.

Definitely come in here and ask for Sonia, she ll get you all sorted out!

Excellent customer service by Afsheen, She was very helpful and knowledgeable..I have been to many dealerships but never felt so comfortable, 5 stars all day long !!! Keep it up!!

Buying your first car can be daunting but the staff here was so friendly and inviting. Onur was the the sales rep that helped me; I like that he made himself readily available, even at a moments notice! You can tell by his attitude that he is willing to get you the best deal will go above and beyond to make sure that happens. He will also make himself available after the sale and answer any questions that you may have once the sale is finished. Very personable and welcoming! Had a great experience here!

I bought two cars From Luiza Fon Goldring at Thornhill Hyundai.Luiza is a really nice and beautiful girl both inside and out.She is really helpful,professional and caring.I had an accident last winter and my car was total loss.Luiza helped me to buy my new car offering a really good price and I was able able to buy a new upgraded Elantra with the same price as my previous car which was a 2013 model.I would definitely recommend her in case you want to buy a car in this dealership.She is the only sales person I know who cares more for the customer than the sales or commission.
MJ(Mahmoud Haj) also helped me a lot in financing my car and getting my insurance.Although I was new to Canada and I didn't have a good credit history ,he helped me to finance my car with no down payment and at a very good rate.He is always so welcoming and caring and friendly.He made a lot of effort for my insurance problem for my previous car.My experience with Thornhill Hyundai ,specially with help of Luiza and MJ was one of the best in Canada.

Just purchased a new Elantra at this dealership. Exceeded my expectations by a long shot! The sales manager, Afsheen, provided exemplary customer service throughout the whole process, was ALWAYS available whenever I had questions or concerns, and is a definite asset to the dealership. Having General Manager Greg Corasco come over to thank me for my business was also a nice touch. I try and listen to his radio show on AM640 every Saturday from 9-11am, and it was nice to meet him face to face. Corina handled the paperwork, and impressed me with her no pressure attitude toward the warranty and undercoat processes. Plus, she's just really nice and friendly!
I would DEFINITELY go back to purchase another Hyundai, and I would not hesitate in the least to refer family, friends, and strangers to their dealership. They know what they're doing, and they go out of their way to provide excellent customer service.

Recently I've bought a Santa Fe from Thornhill Hyundai and the whole experience was great. Tara and Daniel made sure to do everything to make the experience a great one for me. They were both supportive, patient and helpful, and friendly. They did their best to make sure I was satisfied with my new car, trade value and my payment plan. They even stayed after finishing their shift to work on the deal and without any pushing. The day after, I had some questions. I called Tara and she kindly answered all my questions. Also, she shared my concerns with Daniel; Sale Manager and he also was so supportive. I highly recommend Thornhill Hyundai to everyone who wants to have first-class customer service. I bought my 2019 Hyundai Tucson here. As a first time buyer, I don't know anything on how to purchase nor the information about cars. Although, I already have a preferred type of a car but I just don't know what trim will suits me and best price for my budget. But William was there to assist me. He is so knowledgeable, knows how to handle customer(great customer service) and will gladly help you on the things that you need to know when purchasing a car. This place is a very friendly and has a good customer relationship that they will make sure that you are highly satisfied. And yes, there's Afsheen and David that will help you too a lot and will make sure that you can purchase the car that you want. Hyundai Thornhill is a must especially if you are looking for a good customer service

Worst hyundai dealership to deal with.

Last year I referred two of my friends to get the lease in this dealership. They got the cars and out of nowhere I was promised a referral by the sales team. Its almost 7 months no reply. I didn't ask for it but if promised better keep it.
After i talked to them they said the Top management doesn't care after the sale is done.
TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.
I just got my uncle a brand new santa fe from Nav Bhatis dealership in mississauga. AMAZING SERVICE. They also included winter tires with life time swap and storage at no extra cost.

Its time for the Thornhill dealership to learn from your mistakes....If you take my advise don't deal with them as after the sale they Don't care.

Had a great experience buying our first car here - a used Hyundai Elantra. Andrey helped us make the decision and provided us with a lot of different options. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and polite.

I really dislike dealerships that use sleezy sales techniques, and Thornhill Hyundai is the opposite of that, which was a big factor in making a decision to purchase here.

As first-time car buyers we had a ton of questions and Andrey has patiently answered them all.

Highly recommend!

Service center is awful. They are completely unprofessional and irresponsible. They don't try to keep their promises at all. They don't answer the call properly, even don't call you back when you make a voice mail, neither manager nor advisor. They don't do the follow up about their services and your experience and nobody is listening to customer complaints. The service center is the worst. Do not go to this service center, try other Hyundai service center.

Service appointment was quick. Car was immediately taken for service after checkin. Just waited 2 minutes for being attended after arrival. Service was quick and I got the car back little earlier than promised time. They even did exterior wash.

I never ever do reviews. But after my experience at Thornhill Hyundai, I just had too. It's my first car purchase and it was actually a great experience. My sales rep Emilia was so fantastic and helpful. She went out of her way and searched the country for the exact car I wanted. I highly recommend her and the team at Thornhill Hyundai. They treat you like a human being, with respect, and make a strong effort to accommodate all your needs in purchasing a car. I'm going to be recommending them to all friends and family.

Afsheen is HANDS DOWN the best person you can meet in life. I just graduated and this was my first car purchase. As a student just stepping into the adult world without knowing much about cars, Afsheen helped me out like family. I showed her an ad for another car at another location and after comparing the car at her dealership and the other one, she was honest in telling me that the other deal was better. She even called the location for me but it was sold out. I'm very happy that the other car was sold out because it meant being loyal to Afsheen. She is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. She takes care of her customers like family and makes sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase and the process. She is honest and will tell you the facts straight up... There's no sneaking information or hiding behind papers with her. She gets straight to the point and tells it like it is. After obsessing over what car to get for a month, I finally found the best deal at Thornhill Hyundai.

I was pretty nervous going in, as it was my first car purchase and I had heard awful things that have happened to people in the past when buying a used car. Thankfully Afsheen and Michael were extremely thorough when going over the details of my purchase and worked with me to get the best deal.

I recently went down because I couldn t start my c...

I recently went down because I couldn t start my car on the first try. They did a diagnosis and said it was just a dirty ground wire and they cleaned it. Later on the same day it started to have to same problem so the diagnosis they gave me wasn t accurate. The next day my car died so my car was never fixed.

Don t get me wrong the people who work there have great energy and very friendly. Their guest service deserves 5 stars but their work, not so much. I even asked if my car was fixed and the guy said it s good to go but seems not. I went back today and asked if it died again and I had to call a tow truck, who would reimburse me. The guy said I still had to pay because it was fixed . But I m confused because they never really fixed my car.

he worst service I ever had.
After 3 hours of waiting they told me that still can't find the problem and I should leave my car for all day. Car only one year old and still has warranty.
When I said that I can't stay no car for all day, because of my job, they suggested me to rent the car for 40$ a day. Really?! Why should I do it for my money, if my car still has warranty and it is not my problem that they couldn't find and fix the problem.
I totally understand, sometimes to find the problem, taking a bit more time, but why client should rent other vehicle for his own money?
Wouldn't recommend to anyone to go to this dealership, Not professional at all.

They said my wheel bearings need replacing. I took it to my mechanic. He said there's "absolutely nothing wrong with them. They look almost new". Service staff and courtesy drivers were very nice. Quick in and out. I doubt I'll be back.

I would not recommend this place for oil change or...

I would not recommend this place for oil change or any other maintenance services. The reception is impatient, rude and doesn t explain the services well. Just the other day, my mother and I went there for service and the person who checked our car for required services said he will do oil change. My mother did not understand him the first time so when she asked to repeat it he shook his head and repeat it . Then when my mother asked if it includes filter change as well he chuckled in a mocking way and said yes. We have been with Hyundai specially this place for years and I don t think it is fair for anyone old or new customer to be subjected to his behaviour.

I would like to share my bad experience at this dealership.

I brought my Santa Fe for a service at the appointment time of 10 am. The staff who dealt with me was Salar. After they examined the car, Salar came to the waiting room and went through all the problems they had found with the price for fixing each problem written on a notepad. As I had another appointment in the afternoon, I asked to have only two problems repaired to ensure road safety so I could leave early. In reality, I was called at ~ 4pm, after ~ 6 hrs in the waiting room (though I just saw 2-3 people in the same room. I had to cancel my afternoon appointment). By that time it was another staff who presented me an invoice with much higher prices than those on the quote. I was surprised and requested to see the quote again. However, the staff said he could not find it. I insisted to talk to Salar, the staff claimed he wasn't able to get hold of him. I had no option, but had to pay for the full invoice or he would not let me take the car.

I do not know how often this "not-being-able-to-find the quote" thing happens in this place. I would advise anyone coming to their door for car services to always take a photo of the quote in case you see a surprise on the invoice. Dishonesty happens at this place.

My experience with the sales representative at this dealership was so poor, i don't even where to begin... I will name the individual without trying to disrespect her.
I walked in and i wanted to talk to a salesrep, after few minutes i was met with the most inept and clueless salesrep i have ever seen in any car dealership, dana golashani she introduced herself as with her thick east european accent and in hindsight a bad english speaking skill even for a cashier let alone a salerep who is suppose to sell a car for the company. we sat down presumably around her desk. i was looking for a compact sedan or hatch. she started by saying that i came late a day and they sold "a lot" of cars yesterday but she asked me what i wanted. i simply said a compact car and i included accent and elentra sedan and hatch models. i don't quite know but she only insisted they only had the elentra sedan and accent hatch which were in the showroom, she showed zero knowledge of what could be in the inventory. she started going through what's already is on the website. i told her i knew about the website and wanted to get more accurate information that i can only get in a dealership, then she started mentioning fleet cars that other than a basic definition she didn't know nothing about, just that "we bought a lot of elentras and we sell them, they are marked as used in paper but they are not" she repeated this literal sentence 3 times in different occasion without opening up what she meant even tho i asked her what it meant the third time. i wanted to know my financial options and i specifically mentioned a 5 year term monthly payment. after consulting with her manager she came back with an infuriating information, bi-weekly payment of a 84 month long term for the elentra proffered package.and if that wasn't enough she told me i'll get a free TV too but it wouldn't fit in an elentra.i asked her one last question i ask all salesreps and that is to give me a deal i can not resist. she again naively responded "if i give you one will you buy today?" i was tired and frustrated at that point and wanted to leave but wanted the irrelevant quote paper. she gave the right answer and gave it in the most basic crude way possible "if you don't want to buy why you want the paper" as if it contained the exact information i was looking for. by the time i walked out of the dealership i wanted to pull my hear out. i don't even know how could someone like her get hired there, and how she could possibly sell a car.
avoid dana golshani for the following reasons:
1-poor english communication skills.
2-poor knowledge of her job in a way you think she is not even trying.
3-poor ability to understand and pin point the customer's intentions and desires.
4-great ability to drive customers as far away as possible from hyundai.

Great customer services isn't about things going perfectly. Great customer service is about how things are handled when there is a problem. I just bought a brand new Santa Fe. My experience, from my test drive, right through to the negotiation, to the final pick up of my vehicle was EXCELLENT. My client rep, Sonia, went out of her way to show me how things worked on the vehicle and was wonderful about explaining everything. Purchasing the vehicle was a great experience, but the REALLY great customer service was proven when I had a couple of minor issues. The radio mast antenna was inadvertently not on my vehicle. When we discovered this, the staff at Thornhill Hyundai bent over backwards to find an antenna for me and put it on my car so that I wouldn't have to make a second trip. I had another small issue that was handled with great service as well. I had ordered a cargo cover, but a cargo tray was ordered by accident. The mixup was discovered when I arrived to pick up my cover and, again the staff bent over backwards to sort things out so that I wouldn't have to make a second trip. The GM went as far as to bring the cargo cover to my vehicle, unpack it from three layers of protection, and then install it in my vehicle and cleaned up all the cardboardand bubble pack. He also showed me where and how to store the cover if I needed to remove it. I probably would never have figured that out! I'm very happy with my whole experience with Thornhill Hyundai and recommend them to anyone looking for a Hyundai vehicle.

The gentleman at the front desk (drive thru service) was nice and all but I must say, time was an issue. Said it would be two hours max at the beginning.
I come back at the two hour mark and he says another 20 minutes . I wait for another 40 minutes, come back and they tell me that they re still working it and it ll be another 20-30 minutes. It s been more than three hours. I understand that delays happen and such but then please don t give me false timelines. I ve been to many other Hyundai dealerships and it never took this long.

I just purchased my first car today from Thornhill Hyundai. Irene Song, my sales rep made this process so easy. I visited another dealership and felt very rushed and pressured, but working with Irene was a dream. She was kind, patient, and honest. Her and all of the staff at Thornhill Hyundai, including Marc the sales manager, were very friendly and professional.

Autotrader inquiry turned into nightmare.

Saw a pre-owned SUV listed for 41,888 on Autotrader, after reviewing the ad I decided to email this dealership to get more info and come see the car.

I received an email response from one of the "Relationship Managers" who set up and appointment for me to come meet him after work later that week, this is where everything starts to go downhill.

The next day I went back to review the ad on Autotrader and to my surprise the price of the car has spiked up to 47,000 with no real explanation as to why.

I promptly emailed the "Relationship Manager" back in bewilderment trying to get an answer to this change, first he told me "I believe that is a typo we have been having some issues with our website lately", (what does having issues with their company website have to do with Autotraders website?), so in a nutshell that excuse did not seem to have any merit.

Then he proceeds to tell me in another email the reason for the price increase is because "My managers have decided to offer 0% for 48 Months on our Pre-Owned Units" this explanation really was concerning to me as this demonstrates that this dealership purposely skews the prices to rip off their customers. If you really do the numbers this 0% for 48months is not a deal at all, in fact the old price of 41k with standard interest nets you a better saving.

Anyways he emails me back and mentions that he has spoken to his "manager" who will honor the initial price, and urged me to come and visit them. Now against my better judgement I talked myself to go visit them (biggest mistake and waste of time).

I arrived and met with him, he seemed to keep dodging my questions and not really give me a straight answer, he kept side railing the conversation talking about things that are non related, needless to say after about 45 mins in, I have yet to get a straight answer on 1) What the trade in value of my car is 2) What the final price and term of their SUV will be. Oh and most importantly I have not even seen the SUV I came to see. After another 10-15 mins of running in circles talking about the value of my car he mentions that the standard "market valued" finance rate is 6.9% this is the same for all pre-owned, I mentioned to him that I have an excellent credit score, he said it didn't matter it was the standard rate. Which turned out to be a huge lie and scam, I just checked their website which clearly states "Financing rate as low as 3.67% on approved credit".
Anyways he insists I talk to his "manager" and sign some documents so the "manager" can give me the best price for my trade it, note that I have yet to get any tangible information about the SUV or even see the SUV I came there for.

I then met so called "manager" who I was blown away by how he was a manager, this individual was very unprofessional, he acted smug and arrogant. In fact 5 mins into my conversation with him I had already realized that I was no longer interested in doing any business with this dealership. It was clear to me that this person did not have any training in customer service. Then he tries to pull a fast one on me telling me he is giving me "the best price" for this SUV and when I added the numbers he presented me with it came up to over 60,000 dollars. At this point I was very infuriated at this dealership and their shady, undercutting antics to cheat thier customers, and I told the manager I was not interested.
He then went on to try and act funny by making more smug and unprofessional remarks, at this point I just walked out.

To summarize, avoid this dealership at all costs, they will lie, cheat and try everything to screw you over.

They have fantastic sales service. I looked for other dealerships, but Thornhill Hyundai was the best to make a deal. If you look for a Hyundai, go there and look for Mevlut Telli, you will have the best service to buy a new car.

The consultant gave a good explanation of what was the solution to my car issue complete with price and reasons for price varying. it was close to lunch hour and knowing i had another appointment, once lunch period was over, he quickly had my repairs done including a quick external wash.

Consultant also reviewed any work outstanding to do on the car and checked any recalls. With outstanding work he offered a comprehensive explanation of the work and why it was necessary. I will be making a service appointment very soon to resolve these work orders.
