My experience was on the working side. I thought according to the so called team atmosphere initially when I came into this company would have empathy towards ones situation along with added professionalism and communication but they want you to communicate to them. However they are petty with a few of their policies and procedure. They have a high turnover and employees say what they must too close the deal. It's a highly stressful work environment IF you follow script.

My experience in one word: harassment. I have told them no less than 5 times that I am not interested in using their company. They continue to call. I blocked the number, after being blocked another 4 times, they have started using different phone numbers to al from. Initially, I asked for time to review and compare prices. The tone of the conversation immediately changed and they became angry "because we offer the best prices..Everybody else uses us...you shouldn't compare because we can do that for you". They wanted me to sign a contract that second without reading it. A company that tells you NOT to compare prices, forces you to sign an agreement without time to read it and calls despite you asking them to stop, is not a company I will ever do business with.

Well I have to give VMS an overall review of 3 stars, the reason being is because of the lies and deception that happened in the very beginning of dealing with them. I had several agents ("Harry & Matt") who did nothing but promise me the world and it all ended up being lies and a bunch of sales tricks, half truths, and lies of ommisions. I was very close to complete ending my account and wiping my hands with VMS, regardless that it is 100% true that no other company can or will offer you the amazing low cost for processing your credit cards. So when I called to complain and end my account, I ended up getting in touch with a gentleman named Brian. Now if it would be possible for me to give 3 stars to VMS as a company and 0 stars to the other 2 twits I dealt with, and then give Brian 5+ stars I would but, that's not the way it works but if it wasn't for Brian and his professionalism and his ability to listen and understand my issues and concerns, I wouldn't be with VMS any longer. Brian was able to not only understand what I was put through, but was able to help gets things taken care of to the best of his abilities, he doesn't have the authorization to fully fix the problem but that's not due to lack of trying. I had thought about just giving a 5 star review based off just my dealings with him, but I don't believe that would be helpful or fully truthful for other consumers looking to go with VMS. So I will end this with saying that VMS as a company does offer very good services and at a very very good rate, but beware of the sales staff. Make them put everything in writing, and on your contract with them, ask the same questions in different ways and make sure the response is consistent and make sure you read every word in every section of anything they send you and finally ask for Brian if you can, because he is the one person at the company that I know will not lie and will keep his word when he tells you something. So I will recommend VMS for you credit processing needs, just be careful when dealing with them, but once you get past dealing with the salesman the service it's self is worth the few heart aches of dealing with the people.

It makes virtually everything related to our sales so much easier as well as less time consuming. Samantha has been very helpful since day 1. She has been able to answer all of our questions and give as much help as possible.

I have been having issues with our lease with FirstData. This is a contract that we acquired through VMS. I have spoken with a ton of reps between both companies and the only person who actually had answers to my questions was Geri! She is smart, super understanding, and told me exactly what I needed to do to get things resolved. The only person I will ever contact for my questions moving forward. Thanks Geri!
I have been patiently waiting for management to call me. I requested numerous times and keep being told unavailable. They will call me. Over a week, no call. So much to say but main reason I am upset is I already had a mini clover for my business. I put in an application for EBT/SNAP for my store and was contacted by Velocity advising I need their machine as it is approved and internally programmed for EBT. Not true at all. Your EBT would not work and I contacted provider of my first Clover and no problem getting it running. You can say I was scammed and I admit I was but this will not be the end of this. Total fraud to insinuate you have ties to EBT and I cannot use my current system. So I am suppose to pay $180 monthly because I got scamned? I told the salesperson numerous times I already had a mini clover to take cred/deb but she insisted it could not take EBT. Wrong. Common sense tells you I would have not continued the conversation. Update: sent complaint to Better Business Bureau. VMS are saying they never told me my current mini clover would not work. They advised they have contract with USDA with their equipment. Umm wrong. They said I called them 127 times! They called me to get the sale. At first I thought it was USDA because I put thru the initial app. They called me daily sometimes 3/4 times per day. They will not admit they told me my current mini cliver will not accept EBT! Why in the world would I buy another system? Then the sale went into the Point of Sale and if you do not have it you will fail in your business. I am sure it is great for a large restaurant, but a little grocery/deli that I already informed the salesperson was barely getting by? Lying about EBT equipment and scare tactics. I wish I could show you the documentation they sent to BBB. Mind blowing. Play your video tapes uncensored. Plus do not insinuate I made 127 calls. How many calls did you make to myself? I told several of your clientele that I wanted to speak to a Manager as I was lied to about my equipment not being able to process EBT. To this day, I have been waiting for a call and it has been over a week. If I wanted to buy a machine I would get a call in 5 minutes.. Not one call. By the way, I have not called since I already asked for a Manager 3 times last week. I am still waiting for your call. Why no call? You answered to Better Business Bureau but cannot take the time to answer the client? If you have called me and tried to resolve this like a normal business I would not have to call the BBB. You have the tapes. Lets play them for the BBB.
First, for the record, I am tough to do business with. I am a small business owner and I need things that are broken fixed, period. If you can't admit there is a problem or refuse to resolve it, we're done, again Period! I am the customer and you are the provider. Again; tough, demanding, and often in crisis. That is a small business! Dealing with merchant services is always touchy; it involves handling peoples' money, making it very personal. After over 5 years with VMS, and several of them working with Tina, I have to say I have been extremely pleased that she completely understands that small business never means small service or poor resolution. This company does everything they say they'll do. Jose is the best salesman and has followed everything through, even giving out his personal cell number. In all the time I've been in business I wish this company would have done all my merchant services. If you're looking for a merchant service company, I highly recommend doing business with these great people.
I worked with Jose Valles and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and funny. He understood his companies products well and he knew what services would benefit us the most. He kept me interested the entire conversation and when our call was complete not only were all of my questions answered but I understood what I signed up for.
Buyer Beware! Take time to read the contract before you sign anything. Salesman will tell you whatever to get you to sign the contract, but once it's signed they start changing up the fees that were discussed by the salesman, but aren't shown in the contract. Also beware that once you sign you are locked in for 36 months and if you switch merchant providers they will charge you $99 a month for the remainder of the 36 month contract.
Once you sign, they really don't care because you are locked in for nearly $3600. This company isn't value driven and I honestly think many of the good reviews they have are fake or bogus.
Just make sure you do your due diligence and get percentages or fees in writing. They will also hit you with all kinds of yearly fees that you have no idea about.
Really would like to see this company vanish for good. They definitely are only out to get as much money from you as possible and could care less about you or your business.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with one of the sales reps. She contacted me after seeing my search online for EBT services. Throughout multiple exploratory conversations she insisted there weren't any cancellation fees. I believed her and sent our private info for processing only to then receive a contract with the fees clearly stated. Even when confronted she tried to spin her way out of it. Very disappointing, she should not be working there. From the reviews it looks like they provide great services without con artists working for them.
So glad I was able to get connected with Jose. He helped my family and I out, saving us time to set up the Clover system not to mention cut our bill in half than we previously had it! I would recommend him to anyone who is just opening up a new business!
I know there are a lot f good reviews so I m puzzled why Micheal Myers is calling me and acting as if he is part of the EBT program in order for me to call him back so he can try and get me to switch my merchant services. This is very poor tactic if you are trying to get my business. Just be upfront and honest, don t pretend to be from the govt as an EBT agent.
