The Three chocolateers Review

Chocolate or wax? Previously had good experience with the three chocolatiers in Wynyard, especially the dark hot chocolate, it was silky smooth and tasty. Other chocolates are generally good. Not this time.

Salted caramel dark chocolate tasted like wax, no salt flavour or caramel, very disappointed.

If this is the result of rush production to meet Valentine's demand, I am sorry to say, this is bad enough that people will now stop visiting. Not even worth the "share in the office treatment", straight into the bin.

Nice chocolate and amazing coffee. Staff is very friendly and competent. The best place in sydney.

Dark chocolate salted caramel nibbles are fabulous. Just happened to stop by to check out the place and now I want to alway go!!

Love the raspberry chocolate. But please can you put other sizes of coffees on your Hey You app other than small. If that was the case I would order a large hot chocolate every day

Good, but not great, chocolate for the price. Definitely worth checking out just for the chocolate
strawberries. The staff are always willing to help. The set up of the store is shocking.

However - can t move around here if other people in the store and no logical set up of where chocolates are grouped

Completely failed to deliver my order and didn't refund my money!!

I totally regret trusting this company with the delivery of my parents 60th anniversary gift which they failed to have arrive on the day, or even the day after... In fact it never arrived and I'm yet to get a full refund or apology .

Instead I received total attitude form the 'owner' of the business for even questioning why it was never delivered. Unbelievable!

The website states a 1 to 2 day delivery which I planned ahead for. Spoke to the abrupt owner who stayed delivery delays are due to covid. Really? Covid delays simply across town?

I suggested they remove the 1 to 2 day delivery from the website in this case.
Regardless , it's day 4 since I ordered it. thehthe anniversary come and gone and still no delivery and no full refund. Only a partial one!

It's actually illegal to charge a credit card in full and fail to deliver a product and that's exactly what's happened.

What's the point of being in the business of helping people celebrate an occasion if they miss the occasion all together and then don't fully refund you for a gift that has vanished??

My email has been ignored so I'm taking this through the proper channels to get my money back.

If you want a gift delivered, try ANYWHERE ELSE .

If you're a chocolate lover (who isn't really?) Then you must try these gorgeous chocolates from Three Chocolatiers.

They have a lovely range to suite anyone's taste. My children loved the Fun Filled Speckles with milk chocolate & The Cookies & Cream white chocolate bars.

I however I preferred The Strawberry Blast white chocolate & the Murray River Almond dark chocolate.

These little bite size chocs were so yummy & very addictive!

Best Hot chocolate in Sydney CBD. Both the dark and the 36% cacao are wonderful! Even when the Shop seems busy- the line goes really quick. I never seem to wait more than 2 minutes for my order- which is wonderful when sneaking in a sip before work ! Great Quality & Great Staff.

Simply dodgy - got overcharged $1.40 over four coffee. I wouldn't know if I didn t ask for a receipt. The cashier clearly knew she overcharged me as she said but I ve given you an extra stamp on the loyalty card. She claims she has done a refund on the POS screen, but it hasn t come through. It's not that $1.40 is a lot of money, this behavior is UNACCEPTABLE. Be mindful of how much you get charged when you visit this shop.

Very great quality chocolate n amazing flavours, freezedried strawberries dipped in chocolate and coffee bean chocolate are the epic

After buying our coffee here since the day opened at Wynyard, I am very disappointed today . The queue was extra long and spilling out onto the concourse when I saw the Barista nodding and smiling to a girl in the queue standing behind myself and my husband. To my disgust, when this girl actually moved around to the counter waiting for her coffee, it was ready almost immediately and well before the 6 people who had ordered and waiting before her (including myself and my husband). We had a 12 min wait for coffee this morning which is well worth the wait but not to have people arriving and ordering after us have to have their order escalated because they know the Barista. (nb. After my complaint the Barista kindly gave me my money back but geez, why do this in front of all your dedicated patrons. That girl can wait just like the rest of us). Love your coffee, mocha, service and staff always pleasant but today was really disappointing. You know you did the wrong thing. Please dont do that again.

The store and packaging is great, but the taste is so bland and basic it doesn t justify the price.

A friend of mine bought me milk chocolate from this shop. The taste was average, nothing special. But when I walk close there, I see they have a lot of different choice. So maybe next time I ll try another flavour and see if it s better.

This review is for the store in Town Hall. The selection here is extensive, e.g. milk chocolate coffee beans, & pistachio & freeze-dried strawberries on chocolate blocks. The service is friendly & charming, and the chocolates are easily consumed in one sitting. Unable to resist this store as it's on the way to work but I am certain I will probably get diabetes by year end. Keep up the good work.

Didn't appreciate how I was spoken to when applying for job, was given false hope on multiple occasions.

Please be aware when u guys make payment because i being charged for extra $20. I find it out on my way back home. After that they find out is their worker accidentally mix up my transactions with my friend who tap before me,although my friend already confirm with the workers whether the payment is succeed on the spot. They still request me to check with my friend whether her account is being charged (which make me feel abit akward )The issue that make me most upset is the thing they reply me by message that s good to hear that you could find where was your extra charge from (No matter what, is you who extra charge me, not my problem ok? What if that person is not my friend? Who should i ask for the money? ) After all, this incident makes me totally no confidence to step in this shop again.

To be honest, the packaging is ok but the taste is average, price is beyond the taste.

One of the most racist shops that I have seen in the CBD. I was walking about 5 feet behind 2 white men. They were both stopped and given a free chocolate sample to eat. I passed the same fellow 2 seconds later and he started looking here and there. I thought he might have spotted someone else. But the same thing happened again today. Looks like they do not want to give free samples to brown people. If that is the case I ll let the other brown people know that this shop does not like brown folk and racially discriminate them. I ve purchased chocolates from this shop earlier and did get a very cold treatment. But now I know what s happening here. Never coming back and hope this business runs to the ground.

The shop itself looked nice so I thought I should give it a try. Got this Strawberry Crunch but is a bit disappointing. There is almost no strawberry flavour in it, the crunch balls doesn t have much flavour either. Supermarket white chocolate taste better than this.

Their chocolates are really average, for some reason the chocolate texture is powdery and not smooth. You would also expect they make amazing hot chocolate but the bourke street bakery around the corner makes better hot chocolate.

I got gifted 3 packets of the three chocolatier s chocolate from my friend and I ve noticed that they are pretty pricey. The strawberry in the strawberry blast had a spongy texture which wasn t as pleasant as I thought it would be. The chocolate also had an ok texture and I would say it was worth the price they sold it for. This is just purely my own opinion.

The dark chocolate block with the pistachio and strawberries was also really nice but I'm still not a fan of the strawberries.

I had high hopes for the Dark Chocolate Hunter Vally Honeycomb but I feel ripped off by the fact that there was hardly any honeycomb at all and was mostly just a block of dark chocolate. Not worth the price.

Although the chocolate was pretty tasty, I wouldn't say they're worth the price.

Wanting to treat my family I bought 2 blocks of chocolate to take home! I'd taste tested a few small chocolates first which seemed okay! What a disappointment the blocks were! I think possibly mixed with cheaper compound chocolate so the texture not very pleasant! I'm going to stick to Aldi chocolate instead at less than half the price!! Some of the staff could drop the patronizing attitude too!!

Not much better than average really. Freckles good but nowhere as good as Haigh s. Turkish delight made me feel sick. Branding might lead one to think of a more premium product but it s not the case.

Disappointed with everything. Low budget big profit, no quality, no passion, not good service. their customers are only tourists.

I want to love this place, but I can't. Everything looks amazing, and the service is excellent; but the quality is inconsistent. The variation between batches of the chocolate covered strawberries and honeycomb slabs is huge, from divine to disappointing. However, this doesn't seem to stop me going back (at least twice a week!).

Ordering with this company was an absolute nightmare. I ordered from this company only because the regular place i order from had a clear message on their website that stated they were closed until 11th January. This company did not and said they would deliver in 2-4 days. Based on this i ordered chocolates to be sent to a family member who was extremely sick in hospital. A week later and they still werent sent. When they finally were sent the delivery person refused to deliver to the hospital and instead left a card so that my extremely sick relative could pick up from the post office! What a disgusting thing to do! Do not use this service for someone sick. When i complained they offered a refund...but by this stage my relative had already been in hospital for some time and the future was unsure. The person i complained to was completely disinterested and indifferent. Terrible service all round. If you are in brisbane and need a hospital delivery try 31 degrees....they always deliver.

I had Mocha everyday here and it s wonderful. Rich chocolate. Loved it

wouldn't go back, chocolates are ok, but for that price range i'd rather spend at Haighs just 10 mins away from this location, the barista got an attitude problem with men, I'm sure he'll get punched by someone sooner or already been kicked, always flirting with ladies even when a queue of 10 people waiting..... !!

Honestly amazing customer service! The workers there were very helpful and kind. Great quality and ranges of chocolate would 11/10 recommend.

This is a cute little coffee and chocolate store hidden in Wynyard Station. Friendly staff and amazing coffee and hot chocolates. It's great that they don't charge for soy/almond milk!

My only recommendation would be to introduce a bigger size cup! The one size is too small

I loved the coffee taste at the first sight. Customer services were amazing. But quite a month later, when they offered me a point-collecting card, I brought to get the points, the cashier guy seemed to be unhappy with that. Moreover, I got a free coffee today and gave him the card, he straight away said that it would be free and disposed it in the bin in front of me. I am working in Customer Services too and always happy when customers get free drinks or foods but the attitude of the guy was so disappointing. With other customers, he smiled politely and asked extra questions but with me, he just what I would like to buy. Such discriminated and poor attitude to deliver to customers.

Best milk hot chocolate! The quality and service is happiness!

Was given a sample of the Strawberry blast and would have had to be the best chocolate I've ever had. Went and purchased a bag to take home and share with friends. Looking forward to trying some other flavours in the future :).

Bought their freezed dried chocolate coated strawberry today thinking they'll be like Noosa chocolate factory which we can't get in NSW. Was very disappointed. Very poor immitation. Strawberries lacked crunch and chocolate tasted powdery. Will just have to wait for my next trip to Brisbane for the original and the best.

Coffee tasted burnt / over-extracted. I had a couple of sips and threw the rest out. Chocolate was fine, but overpriced in my opinion. Back to Oh Boo Chocolates in Barangaroo for me.

Edward and Yuri have given excellent customer service. Chocolate quite pricy, but also quite good.

Amazing chocolates in dark, white and milk varieties. Love the giant freckles, freeze dried strawberry and nutty chocolates! They make the best hot chocolate here- the 77% cocoa one is amazing. It s always quite hot and u get piece of chocolate to sample with ur coffee! Hot choc is not too sweet either.

Beautiful staff, beautiful chocolates. Highly recommend to anyone swinging through Wynyard station. Make sure you get Jesse to make you a coffee.

The hot chocolate I ordered was a little watery, and lacking in actual chocolate. Sub-par for what I'd expect from a chocolate shop.

Definitely worth a visit if you're after a REAL hot chocolate. They melt their delicious chocolate and mix it wit hot milk (I chose 77% with Almond). Yum!!

My sister sent me a gift pack for my birthday, the nut lovers pack I believe. While the packaging and presentation is lovely, the chocolate is disappointing. Tastes like cheap compound chocolate with some pretty looking crushed nuts thrown in. I'm eating it purely so as not to waste her money but honestly, even as a chocolate lover I'm finding it hard to enjoy as a guilty pleasure, the calories are hardly worth the bland taste, tastes like dollar-store Easter eggs or Homebrand cooking chocolate. I feel bad that she wasted her hard earned money at a store that obviously knows a lot about marketing and nothing about chocolate.

The mocha's here are amazing... but they are hit and miss depending on who makes them at the Wynyard store. Would love to see more hot chocolate flavours added to the menu like mint hot chocolates and coconut hot chocolates (like all the chocolate varieties they sell in store). Tried to buy flavoured chocolates and asked them to do this for me after one of the other employees had suggested it, but when I got to the counter they two ladies at the coffee machine refused.

Having read some of the comments I need to share that these products ARE made in NSW by Australians. The Salted Caramel Nibbles, White Coffee Beans with Cranberry, Lemon Myrtle Nibbles, Orange Nibbles and more are created in Sydney. No real idea where some of the other goodies are made but assume NSW as promised by The Three Chocolatiers. I personally know the company and people that make those products.

The 77% dark hot chocolate is one of the best hot chocolate options in Sydney unlike the super sweet ones you get elsewhere. Soy milk at no extra cost!

Delish plus...if that's such a thing! The gentleman from Italy was super knowledgeable and helpful! My mocha was so rich and delicious and the Dutch chocolate is truly right up there amongst my favourite looking time conching chocolate purchases!:) Highly recommend! If you're anti-chocolate; good tunes, humble, relaxed and passionate staff are enough to invite you in!:) Would love a day to come where smaller scoops and little handles are added to the perspex, for the chocolate 'boxes'. At one point I felt that I needed a university degree on opening a lid which was determined to stay closed! Right next to the train station they have strawberry, mint, raspberry, orange etc filled chocolates that are all around $5.80 p/100grams, for something a little small but super tasty!

Ordered a skim latte ended up with chocolate on the bottom of the cup have to trash the whole cup In the bin . Went back to the shop few days later advise the staff of my experience...no apology nor service recovery given, I have purchased my last cup there I was simply want to see how they response to this matter In order to decide wether worth it to continue supporting this shop. Incredibly disappointing taste. Took two gift boxes home for the family to feast on... except no-one is feasting because even the milk chocolate tastes cheap and nasty. We'll be going back to Haighs down the road. Don't be fooled by the attractive packaging.

The chocolate here tastes delicious. Hot drinks are not bad. However they have wide variety of hot snd cold drinks. But my 2 star is only for the bad customer service. I'm not syre if others experienced this. But the lady who took my order was not even ready to listen my complete request. I wanted 1 sugar in my coffee snd she didn't even H as ve patience to listen to that. At the moment I went the queue wasnt big and hence I cant see any reason why would they be so rude to their customers.

Curiosity took me for a walk into the Three Chocolatiers at Bankstown. What a delight, great coffee, to die for Coffee Beans covered in Cranberry and Vanilla and superb customer service from the pleasant barista. Great work, will be back again for sure.

I bought a four gift pack of chocolate, the packaging was beautiful & the chocolate looked lovely. The chocolate itself doesn t taste like hand crafted, quality chocolate, it tastes like oily, waxy chalk. We threw ours out.
I received an email to review the chocolate on their website. Every time I put up my 2 star review they delete it. They ve done this multiple times now, which is why I m leaving a google review.

Good chocolate shop inside Wynyard Station. Their hot chocolate was great. Very thick and doesn't feels diluted with water at all. They also sells different types of chocolate. Perfect for any occasions

Too many places do mediocre hot chocolate (too milky, not chocolatey enough, lukewarm, use questionable chocolate syrup stuff..) Thankfully these guys don t...their 77% dark hot chocolate is exceptional and I am unashamedly hooked on the stuff. Staff are super friendly and efficient and anywhere that plays Def Leppard Pour Some Sugar On Me on the regular should be given a medal frankly.

Awful service. Went during work with a couple of my colleagues for the first time. There were three men, they stuffed up my colleagues order and he was waiting close to 10mins for his latte, he repeated himself several time yet the men served those after him. Did not even apologise for making him wait and stuffing up his order. Extremely disappointed. Management needs to check their customer service skills before hiring. Like seriously, who would want to buy coffee at a place that has rude employees. Don't think i will come back here after this.
