Peaceful retreat resort at the foot of beautiful Camelback Mountain. Champagne and cake pops at check in were great. Villa was quaint and cozy. Room service was great. Loved the fireplace in the room. The only con was the bed, it was hard as a rock, both my husband and I woke up with backaches. Overall it was a great experience and a wonderful get away from life for a bit.

We had our first annual women's retreat this past weekend and it was beyond PHENOMENAL!!!!! I cannot express how impressed we all were with the staff, the amenities, and the grounds! Our assigned servers, Jose' and Enique' AND JD...cannot say enough about how they went above service levels! Danielle, she was the PERFECT compliment to our stay! Oh my goodness what a marvelous time we had! I will definitely be back and we are already planning a repeat trip for next year!

First class and extraordinary!!! We organized a retreat for our school board here looking for meeting space to work but also an opportunity to relaxing and enjoy some leisure time. WOW DID WE GET THAT AND MORE! The staff, property and food were remarkable!
Working with Jason, in guest services, was probably one of the best customer service experiences we have ever had. He not only personally made sure to cover all details, major and minor, for our visit but him and his staff over exceeded our expectations. In addition, Getse B. is one of the most exceptional staff members of the Royals Palms we have ever worked with at a hotel! She helped coordinate all our space reservations as well as a customized menu for our group. She really is a special gem on that property.
We ate lunch at T Cooks, if we could rate on a scale out of 5 stars, would score a 10/5 for food and service! The food was out of this world incredible, as was Ernesto our server! Danielle, the manager on duty, was also outstanding! She checked in on our group multiple times throughout our events, making sure everything was as we planned with her welcoming and genuine attention to us was 5-star service.
Other staff members we noted due to the above and beyond service level were Daniel at the front desk, ALL BELL STAFF- AMAZING, Callie at the pool, Eric in The Mix up bar, and Amy in room service. What a special property with an even more special staff to run it! Thank you so much for the memorable experience . We cannot wait to come back next summer!

Service was excellent. We really appreciated it when the staff dropped us off and picked us up from The Henry, but it was consistently good throughout our 5 day stay. The facility was beautiful but located on a very busy street. Although the neighborhood is very nice, the first couple of blocks on any walk are a bit iffy. The food we ate was all good. The gym was Ok, (nothing special) the pool was nice, and the hot tub was hot.

Hideaway, relaxing, beautiful garden scenery and Camelback Mountain view. Great food at T Cook's. Can't say enough about the resort. R&R for couples or singles that are tired of the hustle and bustle of life. Rooms are fantastic!

Unbelievable service and fantastic location for a week or weekend getaway with friends. We had a fabulous time. The rooms were all clean. The pool, hot tub, and spa were all wonderful. Pool side service was the best we have EVER had. Very attentive wait staff and always friendly. We highly recommend this resort to all! We will definitely be back and very soon.

My husband and I are able to sit in a calm peaceful establishment, talk to each other and be able to hear what the other is saying because its quiet. The servers and bartender were friendly.
My only issue was they didnt make blended cocktails. Which was a surprise being that the resort is always able to accommodate your every whim.
We fall in love even more every time we go to this beautiful place.

First, I must say how comfortable I felt to come to this property during Covid-19. I got a day pass for the pool through Resort Pass. Staff had mask on from the Front Desk to the Pool Bartender. I felt safe which allowed me to relax and zone out by the pool for the afternoon. I would say that the menu at the pool could use a revamp. Specifically the food items-it s a bit lackluster and was okay. My spicy margarita, however, was delicious and hit the taste buds in all the right spots. The pool chairs were sanitized immediately after use. Self parking garage provides covered parking. I would definitely recommend this pass and next time myself would try the Day Room pass. Thanks for your help, Taylor! Outstanding service!

It's a beautiful property but the customer service isn't very good. We were married there and they gave away the hone moon swuite to a couple who booked it after us, and then stuck us by the kitchen for our wedding night. The next year we went back for our 1st anniversary because they recreated the top tier of our cake and stuck us in a room different to what my husband requested when he try and make up for our wedding night. For our 2ND anniversary they didnt even have room for us when my husband tried to book it 6 months in advance and they did nothing to try and get us in at a different time. Where as a friend who went there because she went to our wedding got a free upgrade to the presidential suite bc they over booked them. They never once tried to apologize for any of that. It's a shame because it's a stunning property and it was my wedding, and they put a big smudge on what was supposed to be the best day ever. I am extremely diapointed. The rooms are beautiful, the food is excilent by the customer service is not good.

The property is beautiful and most of the staff is great. When it comes to the event planning staff most of them are down right rude and treat many outside vendors like trash. Refusal of responding to emails even to clients as well as talking about vendors to other vendors and staff members. Completely unprofessional. Will never recommend this property to another client nor will we ever work for a client at this venue. Three strikes and they are out. My company travels all over the US and plans award winning events and this is the worst property we have ever worked at as far as treatment.

This is a fantastic hotel.Best of all is the service. Helpful, friendly, professional, interested. We asked for a quiet room, and got one as silent as could be.The breakfast was fresh and tasty , the waiter remembered what we had the day before, and had a sunny smile. Really, all good.

Very elegant and intimate. Great service, great rooms, and a upscale yet unpretentious attitude. This was the second time here both times for our anniversary and really enjoyed both times. The T Cooks restaurant is a place you must go to. We loved the food there.

Smaller than I expected but the grounds are beautiful. Only been here one night so far but everything has been lovely. Beds are super comfortable and the fitness center has awesome views (as do the rooms).

I went YEARS ago (about 12 years to be exact) and had an amazing time. I was there for 8 days and it has set the bar when it comes to vacationing. From the staff that every few minutes asks if you need water while at the pool, to the private cabanas with fans to stay cool, the immaculate grounds, and food...The food is amazing. It is expensive, but it's worth every single penny, you will not be disappointed.

It is beautifu!. The whole place feels like a spa. Very old world Mexico. I had my bridesmaids luncheon there years ago and it was wonderful. Also, the place is very romantic for a date and weddings or receptions. You won't be disappointed!

A really beautiful hotel. The rooms are set amongst winding pathways and hidden nooks. The setting in front of a small mountain is gorgeous, especially during sunrise and sunset. And I won't soon forget the delicious scents floating around the property from the various herbs and flowers planted all over the place.

I have been to Scottsdale several times in the past and had always loved the area. These trips were mostly business related in that they were either conferences or reward trips from clients. When I took my wife for this 3 day get away I wanted to avoid the larger resorts with their huge conference crowds. Royal Palms was just what I was looking for - smaller, intimate and full of charm and incredible service. T Cooks was amazing from breakfast to lunch to dinner and room service everything was delicious. Our main goal was to relax by the pool and in the spa and both were wonderful. Call out to Robert who never let us go thirsty by the pool! We will be back!

I want to start this out with a HUGE shoutout to Danielle Crovo, the Assistant Event Services Manager. She made sure our entire experience at the resort was perfect including upgrading our room and being my go-to for all details of my proposal.

Royal Palms offers a private dining service called Via Cappello where you can book an intimate, personalized dining experience with your own menu. This was the perfect setting for a proposal. At my request they printed a quote I always say to my girlfriend on our menus and even played the exact music I requested for the big moment. Another shoutout to the restaurant manager Alanis for her flawless execution of the entire experience and timing everything superbly.

Outside of our amazing evening, we had nothing but great service and relaxation. The grounds are immaculately kept and the old architecture and lush vegetation honestly made us feel like we were in an Indiana Jones movie. We took several strolls around the grounds just to check out all the fountains and little nooks. The entire ambiance of the resort is just intimate and romantic. The pool was kept very clean and the pool attendants made sure our drinks were never empty.

Overall, I couldn t have asked for a better stay. Danielle, Alanis, and team really knocked it out of the park for me and Royal Palms is my official choice for all future staycations going forward because of it. Thank you again to everyone that made our stay so great!

Loved it. Our new place to go in Phoenix. Nice little nooks and crannies all over the property for conversation and relaxation. Nice pool and amenities. Good spa services if a little pricey. Had great drinks and snacks in Mix Up. T Cooks had very nice breakfasts. We had dinner off property.

My husband and I visited T. Cooks for our anniversary. We walked around the resort before dinner and we're amazed by the beauty of the place. Dinner was amazing. Our hostess, I think her name was Erin..., did a great job making us feel welcomed and acknowledged our anniversary which is something not all places we've celebrated at have done. Toni, our server, was helpful a had a great personality. We would definitely visit again.

Love it! I've been to the spa at Royal Palms two times now and it is amazing. Beautiful and relaxing. Walking into the resort, around the resort, and in the spa is wonderful in itself. It is like walking out of this world into another more serene and relaxing world. The only reason I marked it down one star is for the cost. It is expensive. My wife and I visited and the cost was over $150 each, but we love to splurge this way occasionally. So, if you can afford it...well worth it.

The most beautiful 5 star resort in Arizona by far! Was here for a wedding and it was the most gorgeous event. If you can afford a $100,000 wedding at the end of the day, this is the place you want to have it at, as the staff was all amazing and the views are breathtaking.

Celebrating my wedding anniversary with my husband...

Celebrating my wedding anniversary with my husband and decided to make a day of it at this resort. Spa staff was rude. One of them yelled at us for coming through the door to the pool and letting it shut behind us stating whole scowling at us don t let that door shut like that it is too loud. My thought than fix it so it does not do that. Then at the spa was relaxed and then that was ruined by staff running my card wrong which charged me twice now have to wait 24 hours for it to come off and her response was well you did it wrong and told me the wrong card!!! What since when is blaming the customer ever a good example of customer service!! Will never come back here will travel to a different resort. Would complain but also know there is no management currently that can take charge at this location. They need to get the spa staff trained on being friendlier to staff. Not David and Tammy they were great! However ruined by rude staff sad because I used to love this place

I honestly have never been more disrespected and disappointed in my life by a hotel. Especially as it was for my birthday. I specifically choose this hotel for the bathtub as we don't have one at home. Arrive was nice and the bell hop Tom was absolutely wonderful. Tom was so nice, talkative and made sure everything was good for us. Getting to the room the first thing was the tub, my boyfriend put in a special request for an European tub. He even talked to someone on the phone who told him that we could get it. We went back down to reception and talked to Marissa, who was very rude. She said there was nothing she could do and even suggested us going to a DIFFERENT hotel. I get that she is new to working at the hotel but My boyfriend and I felt so disrespected. Guess I can't be that upset about it because of her suggestion my birthday weekend was amazing. We ended up going to the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Resort, which was amazing. Unlike the Royal Palms Resort their motto was making it right and they had 6 pools compared to the one laughable pool at the Palms. My suggestion is stay somewhere else, for example the Pointe Hilton. I also want to thank Kong another bell hop who was super sweet to us as this was happening. He and Tom both were very apologetic and did what they could for us. Maybe they should be up in respect ion because they had so much more hospitality and kindness then Marissa could ever have. They are the only reason I'm even giving 2 stars.
