Simply love this resort, enough to get married at. It s a lush green paradise tucked away in Scottsdale. You feel like you re in Spain with the beautiful tiles and Spanish inspired decor. Highly recommend!

The property is beautiful, staff was welcoming and I enjoyed exploring the resort but the rooms are outdated, smell musty and are not an accurate representation of what is shown online. The day after checking out I noticed multiple bug bites, not sure where they're from but I don't remember seeing any mosquitos or being bitten by any. I would recommend checking out the Phoenician instead for a resort style experience in a similar price range.

Last Night my husband invited me to join his customer dinner. There were just 4 of us. My husband recommended T Cooks to his Japanese Customers as we had been to T Cooks in the past - both privately as well as with a Large Japanese contingency - and enjoyed both events. However last night was not very good for several reasons. (1) my husband ordered a Crown Royal Rusty Nail and the Bar was out of Drambuie. (2) My soup was luke warm at best. (3) My husbands Paella was burnt to a crisp and the waiter tried to rationalize it by saying the cooking style was intended to be crisp on the bottom but i told him it was not crisp. It was BURNT. and he agreed. Finally deserts were served tasted like store bought. the only thing keeping this from being 1 instead of 3 stars was the fact they deducted the burnt Paella from our bill. Not a good night.

Came here for a tech conference. The grounds were kept extraordinarily clean. There was always someone around to help answer questions or guide you in the right direction. The conference rooms were very nice and the acoustics were great.

In a word: Impeccable. The service, the grounds, the food, the ambiance, everything. It s the little things that really separate an excellent hotel from a sea of good ones, and the Royal Palms gets the little things right: valets offering cold water when we returned from a walk, the pool staff making sure our ice water cups were never empty, housekeeping knowing our schedule so our room was always cleaned when we were out, turn down service as well, friendly staff eager to help in any way. If i could give this hotel a 6th star, I would.

We decided to do my mother's birthday at T. Cooks which is the restaurant in the Royal Palm. Honestly it was pretty alright, I had the steak which was okay not great. My sister and her boyfriend both got salmon that was basically raw. Apparently this restaurant cooks fish to a medium temperature, which means raw I guess. However the manager came over and took care of it, e.g. got new salmon sent out right away so that was good. Other than that the desert was okay and the whipped potatoes were excellent. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to come here but it wasn't a terrible experience either.

Amazing place! I spent the day at the spa. I high recommend the Orange Blossom body scrub...invigorating! Follow with the Mediterranean facial and finish with the pedicure and foot massage. In between there are private men and women's hot tubs off tiled terraces..drinks and snacks can be ordered...Must go!

First visit to the T Cooks restaurant in Royal Palms. Ken was our server. He and Miguel treated us very well. I ordered red ribeye and it was almost medium term. I had to get Ken's attention and he agreed that it was not like I ordered. He immediately removed the plate and offered to replace it. The pudding dessert of bread was delicious.

Attended Thanksgiving buffet arriving 5 minute early. Friendly valet whisked our vehicle away. Then promptly met by outdoor front desk who escorted us to buffet area. After a gracious greeting we were told it would be a few minutes, which became 20 minutes.
I sense too many diners remain at their tables long after finishing their meal.
Our waiter Joe was most congenial and indicated where to go for what our tastebuds desired. It is a huge restaurant so guidance was appreciated.
The buffet supplied absolutely any and everything you might hope for. The crab claws were abundant and delicious. Many seafood options. The carving area provided succulent pork, alongside roasted turkey and roast beef.
Unfortunately the cold plates, cool temperatures and a long trek back to the table caused our food to be lukewarm at best. Both my wife and I felt the turkey was dry, and the beef not very tender.
Desserts were also plentiful, delicious, and petite negating waste.
Seemingly took forever to receive our bill, and another long wait to pick up the tab, and further delay to run the card. Meanwhile new diners are waiting to be seated.
At $ 247 for 2 (house added 20%) definitely feel it was not value received. However, they were very busy.
The guitarist did not contribute to a wonderful dining experience either.
Love the resort, will dine their again, but avoid holiday meals in the future.

One of the best hotels you can stay at. US Presidents have stayed here. I prefer the hotel part vs the casitas bc they are newer but it is a Hyatt and the staff is one of the best across the board you will find!

Great place. We came for the day while our inlaws were in town. Beautiful gem at the base of south mountain. Pool is small but there are plenty of chairs. Cafe is yummy. Not terribly priced.

We had a great stay. This resort is relaxing and somewhat traditional. It's definitely more for relaxing and getting away than doing activities. There are beautiful event rooms and alcoves and reflecting pools that help you feel quite relaxed. Our stay was in early August and there were many Europeans there visiting and it was fascinating talking to them. Flor checked us in and greeted us with glasses of champagne. Don't miss the front desk it looks more like a living space than a front desk, which is really nice. We had a great stay.

Mix-up and T. Cook's are definitely worth checking out. Mix-up is the bar and T.Cook's the restaurant. We enjoy both and frequent each for date nights. Mix-up has a real good drink selection and nice ambiance. T. Cook's is delicious. The resort is beautiful. If you're local our recommendation is stop in and enjoy the happy hour at Mix-up. If you're looking for an upscale place to eat check out T. Cooks.

One of my favorite hotels! So very serene and beautiful. Staff is more than willing to help and we were always greeted with a smile. Pool is amazing, rooms were beautifully decorated. This is a very quiet hotel - great for unwinding and relaxing. I wouldn't recommend for young kids.

Purchased the day bed and spent most of the day at Royal Palms resort. It was nice, the staff was attentive at first, but then forgot to stop by with our food order. Really liked the complimentary infused water and sunscreen.
