Socal BNI Review

I love BNI and have been a member for almost 30 years. It does take a committment as you meet on a weekly basis but to have 30 people looking for business for you every week is an aspect of marketing your business that you will not get anywhere else.

BNI is a phenomenal networking organization! Being in my chapter has allowed me to partner up with many wonderful colleagues - we trust one another, and we do our best to refer each other business.

I am very thankful for BNI for helping me expand my network, but also showing me that there is a correct way to effectively and efficiently network with others. In turn, I've been able to grow my business exponentially. But more importantly, I have a ton of trusted partners that I've referred out.

I was first introduced to BNI 15 years ago in Northern California. I love getting to connect with other business owners and sales professionals that have the similar goal of growing their business. It was that fateful BNI meeting 15 years ago that lead me to become a State Farm Agent. I'm now a member of a BNI group in Southern California and couldn't imagine a better way to connect with local business leaders. I leave our meetings each week feeling inspired and energized to take my business to the next level!

I have been a member of SoCal BNI since 2011. When I first joined, I had hoped that it would lead to some referrals here and there to my business. I had no idea what I was really in for! I m so grateful that I joined. I ve been able to grow my business by leaps and bounds because of the giving principles that BNI has taught me. I love having such a broad network of people that I can trust to refer my clients to for assistance. Because my fellow BNI members are also very giving of their time, my clients feel like I have their best interest at heart. I recently re-joined BNI after being out of payroll for a few years. Before my return, I checked out a few other organizations in the same space as BNI. After that, I came away very impressed with the BNI process, which has been refined over time. SoCal BNI is a great way to connect with local professionals and grow your business. Person-to-Person networking is underrated and SoCal BNI creates an unparalleled experience to meet other professionals. I joined as a member of a start-up chapter and the process was nothing short of seamless. Jenni and Jamie Neering helped our chapter every step of the way--we are now close to 20 chapter members and growing. I have been a member of SoCalBNI in my chapter for almost 16 years. This is a really terrific way to receive referrals (as opposed to leads). Many of the referrals I receive become clients. I have made back 35 times my investment. SoCalBNI is also a great way for you to acquire a list of trusted professionals who can help your own clients/customers which make you look better to those clients/customers. The training you receive from the organization helps you get value out of your investment.

The people I have met in BNI have been amazing. I have made more connections in the last 6 months than I have in over 5 years of networking. My business has grown this past year in large part to being a member of Aim High. As of January 2020 - BNI members make up the majority of my customers and income!

I have been a member of SoCal BNI for nearly 9 years now and my business would not be the same without it. At least half of my business comes through my BNI referrals. This is because the referrals I receive are often to decision-makers I would never have been able to meet otherwise. On my own, I spend significantly more time and money to land my own personal deals.

To say that SoCal BNI changed my life is an understatement. I joined my chapter almost five years ago and in that time not only has my business grown, but I have learned so much about how to run a business and be a strong leader for my employees. During times when most other businesses in my category weren't growing, I have had continued growth that were a result of my membership with BNI. This region is outstanding and provide their members the tools for success. The customer service is also exceptional as they respond to emails promptly. Each chapter is allotted one person per category so getting into a chapter may not be easy, but in my experience it is worth it.
