Beautiful hotel and fantastic customer service for catered events. Our company hosts several business seminars annual and they're one of our favorites in the city.

Also, their annual Teddy Bear Tea is such a treat for the kids. It's a holiday MUST for our family each year.

Not a 5 star hotel. 4 star at best. Valet just stands and stares at you, no need to greet and take keys until you get out of car and go to the stand. Shower had mold, rooms are tiny. Don't honor Hilton member perks. So over the Hilton brand. Always a disappointment when we stay with them.

This hotel was really nice, the room I stayed in was a nice size and layout, and very clean. The shower had different spray options. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a sitting chair. I also really liked the extra security of having to use the room key to operate the elevator. The staff were very professional and pleasant to deal with. I stayed here for a work conference.

The Christmas decor in the main lobby!!! Amazing. A true Christmas tradition. Take some pictures, get coffee and hot chocolate at Teddy's Cafe or hit the famous Sazerac bar for something with some kick. Service is always tops and the atmosphere at Christmas is unparalleled.

We came to look at the Christmas lights. It is so beautiful there. They really take their time to go all out. It is a great place for photo ops. We didn't stay overnight this time, but we look forward to in the future.

Location: Prime location right next to French Quarter. You can walk to all the tourist locations.

Rooms: Relatively small but expected for an older historic hotel.

Service: amazing service. They texted me if I need anything and were prompt in delivering.

Pool area was nice. Outdoor setup was cool. Drinks at the pool were expensive.

They have a bar in the hotel which has a great vibe. Sazarec is classic New Orleans.

We stayed at the Roosevelt recently for a brief getaway/staycation. It was awesome from arrival.

The grandeur and opulence caught our eyes as soon as we walked into the front door. Timeless, tasteful touches abounded everywhere. Just to get to our room we walked through halls wider than most hotel rooms themselves.

To compare our room to comfort would be to compare water to wet. We had a superior king room. I ve been in smaller houses. The bed was wonderfully cozy, and the room held a pull out couch, in case you wish to share with others, I suppose. Amazing shower with four different nozzles (one overhead, one handheld, two horizontal coming from the wall) that can get you squeaky clean.

The pure history of the place was amazing. When looking for things to do I glanced at entries for New Orleans in the Atlas Obscura, and saw one of our hotel s bars listed. We immediately went for a drink.

The staff were amazing and met our every desire immediately. We will be staying again...I m even looking for excuses to stay again.

Room had a funny smell. Service average, below par for a hotel if this standing. Gorgeous lobby. Automatic 18% gratuity in the spa therefore the standard of service is poor. Nice breakfast place in fountain, just slow service.

The lobby was decorated beautifully for the holidays, but it ends there. We arrived at 1:15 with check in at 3:00. We were told that the room would be ready shortly. We finally got our room at 5:53. We asked what they could do for us and we told "Nothing, we are doing everything we can." I get it is busy, and we didn't expect the room at 1:30, but we did expect it at the check in time of 3:00, and the staff should know not to say "shortly" at 1:15, 3:00, 3:30, 4:30, & 5:15. A room upgrade could have put things right, or at least a couple hundred credit at the spa. Instead we got to sit in that beautifully decorated lobby for three hours. Welcome to New Orleans.

We just visited the hotel. The Sazerac bar was really cool. Dark wood walls and a great feel to the bar makes it worth the prices. Bartenders were really good at keeping everyone's drinks full. The lobby of the hotel was beautiful, like it was transported from the 1930's. There was a restaurant that was crowded but we didn't eat there.

Dropped in for a quick couple of drinks at the Sazerac bar and had such a phenomenal time. The drinks are pricey, but completely worth it for the experience of having such skillfully crafted cocktails. Both the Sazerac and the Gin Fizz are seriously delicious!

Hard to accurately describe the beauty, of this hotel. Architectural design, near flawless and Sullivanesque, in the form follows function, format. Luxury at its finest, the Roosevelt did not disappoint.

To be honest, I have always adored staying at The Roosevelt at Christmas and have done it since I was a child. Until my last stay on 12/21. NEVER again. For starters my AC/Heating was inoperable, my room stayed at a lovely 78 degrees for my entire stay, then as I go to shower to get the SWEAT off of my body there was a USED bar of soap in my shower. Upon further exploring I then realized the mini bar items had already had been half consumed! Here comes the best part, I promise....upon checking out and expressing all of my concerns I was insured I wouldn t be charged anything for parking, incidentals, or the items that had been consumed by the previous guest...the woman at the checkout assured me she heavily noted my account. Fast forward to 12/24 American Express calls me saying the lovely Waldorf was attempting to charge my card for several hundred dollars worth of transactions. Upon calling the hotel AGAIN, they told me there was 0 notes on my account, they could not refund me for parking and to dispute it with my bank. Here s the kicker, I m currently out of town for the holidays and had to CANCEL the card on file with them forcing me to find other means of payment. Unacceptable in my honest opinion and I will NOT be back. I might also add I have had NO ONE from the Roosevelt reach out with any sort of apology.

A must stop in nola since this is where sazerac was created! The bar is the original bar with all the 1920s charm! You feel as like you have stepped back into time! The bartenders dress the part as well. You can get several signature cocktails that were served in the 20s and the bartenders put on a show when they make them. The cocktails are not cheap but you are getting a delious cocktail thgat comes with a show. So well worth the price if you ask me.

I love this hotel. Service is equal to what one would expect from a high end hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. The showers have great nozzles. The food & beverage options are very good.

The hotel is absolutely lovely, and I'm a big fan of their Christmas display. But we went to The Sazerac bar, and ended up paying half again as much as other bars for a mediocre Sazerac. I'm generally not a big fan of The Roosevelt's bars for this reason.

The suite enabled us to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday with several friends in comfort and style. Ours was the central meeting place each morning and the nightcap each evening because it was convenient, spacious, and elegant.
