Horrible experience! First and last time buying at Rooms To Go. They didnt deliver for me on the day i was told, and know i have to wait another month because they gave my furniture to another customer. How can you give something that has been already paid to someone else? This people dont take customers seriously.
This review is for their OUTLET. If you don't know, this store has both the regular inventory/merchandise and they have an outlet warehouse as well. I've been by this store on multiple visits and I appreciated the fact that we weren't pushed to buy something - and this applied to every visit. Jerry was a great person helping us out, answered the questions we had, and was very patient. I would recommend Jerry as well as the outlet if you are looking for something cheap but still decent quality. Just beware that most of the outlet merchandise might have some fault with it but barely noticeable. Oh, and that their stock changes almost every day so if you like it, you better get it cause it'll be gone the next time you're there.
Came in here ready to buy something I found online. Walked in, went over to the bed I was going to buy and waited about 20min.. only one employee was helping other people and they acknowledged me. The others were literally laying in a kids bed just talking. Less than ten feet away of me just standing there waiting for help. I don't think it was really necessary for me to go fetch them from the bed to help me when they should be doing their jobs in the first place.. ridiculous. I love the bed, will still order it online but don't really anticipate coming to this location again.

TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY!! They have a good selection of furniture, but then again nothing you would not expect to find at any other store. However beware of their "NO Return" policy. Yes read your sales contract!! We had a couch plus a table & chairs delivered. Couch is great, however once the table & chairs were set up, they were just too big for our space. We immediately called the store to discuss returning T&C for a different set. The sales associate (Troy) was very rude to my wife & would not discuss their return policy or put us in contact with a manager, Troy did promised a manger would call us back. No surprise we never got a call back. I will be visiting the store as soon possible. At this point I am very frustrated and will never shop here again. I reviewed their return policy listed on line and it is terrible, BEWARE if you shop here, please be smarter than we were & read other reviews first.
They had some great deals on display models but unfortunately the won't deliver floor models.
The furniture is actually really poor quality. Do not purchase the extended warranty. That is a complete extra waste of money. They will always say that it's natural wear and tear. Just filed a repair or replace. And they service guy was great. But stated he was instructed not to repair anything. Just take pictures. Knew right then they had no plans on fixing or resolving any of the issues. The lady from the warranty company yelled at me for being upset so don't expect compassion from them.
Also learned a valuable lesson from the service guy. If you have any furniture delivered and the delivery guys notice something wrong they will never say anything or hope you do. They don't get paid if they have to bring it back. But despite what they tell you they can take it back. Originally we had the couch to our 3 piece sectional replaced 3 times due to defects.
Lesson learned. Never again. The furniture at big lots is actually better quality than rooms to go. Don't get caught up in the big store and large amount of pushy sells people. Please do better research than we did.
I would give this store ZERO stars if I could. DO NOT buy from here. The sales associates will tell you literally ANYTHING to make a sale. Ashton (a sales rep) told me they would hold a check for me so I wouldn't have to come back. I wrote a check for $480 on Sunday. Well, my bank sent me a fee for a bounced check. I was furious. My check was never held. It apparently went to the bank the same day I wrote it. So not only does it look like I am running around writing hot checks, I had a bank fee to pay, and I was lied to. So I texted Ashton a picture of my fee and told him I was not happy and that I was taking my business somewhere else. I called the store the next day to tell them to cancel my order that I did not want anything to do with them. That was a month ago. Today is November 28. I checked my account on November 25 because I was going out of town for business and guess what..they took a check out for $480!! AFTER I called and cancelled my account, texted the sales rep to cancel my account, and called Synchrony (the bank they use) to cancel my Rooms To Go credit card. Once they make a sale, they do not give a rat's a** about you. I was told it would take 21 days to get my money back that was never theirs to take, A MONTH LATER AFTER CANCELLING MY ACCOUNT/ORDER. My bank has also charged me overdraft fees that Rooms To Go refuses to pay for even though I paid the last fee due to their mess up. The manager was no help, the corporate office was no help, the customer service number was no help, and it was Rooms To Go's fault. Apparently the day I went up to the store to ask about the $480 charge, the manager told me he was dealing with the same issue but a different customer. So this isn't anything new for them. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I have some family and a couple of friends that have bought pieces from Rooms To Go and they had to replace it after less than 2 years. NOT worth the hassle or the money. They do not give a damn about you.
Let me just say, Regina is one of the best sales person I've ever encountered. She listens to her customer, asks questions for clarifications and makes the perfect suggestions. Follow up phone call was above and beyond my expectation. If you go to Rooms to Go at Willowbrook, ask for Regina. Awesome job, Regina.

I recently moved from out of state and needed new furniture with quick delivery. Ian was wonderful to work with! He was knowledgeable, kept everything within budget and never hassled to spend more than necessary. I have recommended my family to work with him as well.

Made a purchase had to wait over a week for delivery, then on the day of delivery they promised to call 1hr prior to delivery and called 30min upon arrival leaving no time to get home for the delivery cuasing me to miss my delivery only to offer a all day waiting delivery for the following week .
Had a great experience buying a bedroom set. Prices are reasonable and service was great even though we got to the store close to closing time. Natali our salesperson did a great job

I will in coming month be picking up my items at their Miller Road, Brookshire, TX Warehouse but already developing cold feet with what I will meet there - I just finished reading online review about the warehouse and is 90% nightmare. I pray I will not have any reason to be given damaged items (to avoid return), and also wish to will experience the same customer service I received from Errol at their Willow Chase Dr. Houston, TX store.

would you like to know why ????because it has been altered by rooms to go.
i called synchrony bank and they told me that i needed to contact rooms to go to see why they are holding a different amount than what was agreed upon.

A bought a bed from here and within in months of having it the box springs started to come apart. They are horrible on returning their cheap furniture. Very disappointing. Would not purchase here or any rooms to go again.
Decent selection in the Kids section, but seemed a bit pricey compared to others. Staff was nice, didn't buy and probably will not. Just didn't convince me the extra cost was worth it.
This review is on the kids section of the store. I did not visit the rest of the store but if this is any indication of what is in store you will not be disappointed. This section has so much to choose from from bunks to trundles to daybeds there is a selection for you. The sevice was great, I didn't feel pressured to buy but was not ignored when I mentioned I was browsing for a future purchase.
I will never order from here again. They do great at selling but the companies that they hire for delivery are a bunch of clowns. I had made a big purchase on June and waited 3 months total to have it delivered and both shipments came in damaged. The first order came in August and the guy used his blade and tore the couch and blamed it on factory defect. I am to wait till September 20 for the replacement if it comes in one piece. The second shipment of a table and console were damaged as well. They were about to leave 6 chairs for a table that had 4. I asked why so many chairs. And they didn't even know what they were doing. I am beyond upset at roomstogo delivery service. See the photos they speak by themselves. And not to mention that now I am having to pay for items that I can not even use and wait maybe 2 more months to get them replaced.
We had a very good experience at Rooms 2 Go (Willowbrook area). Our sales person, Mohammed, was very helpful - not pushy at all, very knowledgeable about various ways to set up the sale to save us money on the purchase of our living room and bedroom set. A great experience. We will be back.
I've purchased from this location a bedroom set and paid delivery fee. The order was delivered right away however, every single item was damaged. It was either scratched or dented. I called in and the customer representative wants to tell me they have a technician that can get this repair which is ridiculous! The fact that this was the solution given from them is unacceptable. I purchased this bedroom brand new!!!! Then she wants to say that she will be ok if she was to be put in this situation. No one will ever be ok or happy about getting a new bedroom set repair just because it wasn't handle with care or appropriately by the delivery guys. I had to keep calling them back myself to get the status on this because would not return my calls like they mention. I DO NOT RECOMMEND any one to purchase from here. I should of just gone to Ashley like I have in the past years. I would wouldn't even give them 1 star rating but I have to in order to post my review.

Had a TERRIBLE shopping experience. The employees have an attitude problem and don't know what they're doing. They have ridiculous policies- had to wait half an hour just for a "cashier" to check me out. Then I had to wait again for pickup for the ONE small lamp I bought. I recommend going ANYWHERE besides Rooms To Go.
Purchased 2 sofas & 1 chair from the Clearance Center (Willowbrook location). Was led to believe that this furniture was new, but ONLY had scratches or imperfections.
We were alright with the imperfections of the furniture until we got it home. We had to disassemble (remove the backs) from the sofas in order to get them through the door. One of the sofas was just fine. The 2nd sofa was not.
When we took the backs off, we discovered that this sofa was used long term at someone's house for many months, if not years! We know this because of all of the dog hair and food crumbs that were actually inside of the sofa. This is not something that we could have known without disassembling the sofa. Again, we were led to believe that the furniture was new with scratches or imperfections.
The amount of dog hair removed was enough to create a ball of fur the size of a small dog. My wife has pet allergies and there is no way that we can keep this sofa.
My wife called the store and spoke to the manager of clearance furniture (TRISTAN NGUYEN). She explained the situation and that we were alright with the scratches and imperfections, but used furniture that came from someone else's house with all the dog hair and food crumbs was another thing. That is just nasty!
She explained that we could not keep this sofa because of my wife's pet allergies. TRISTAN pretty much just said "too bad". He said that "he's never taken back any furniture from clearance and he was not going to start now". TRISTAN was extremely rude and could not care less about our situation. It's hard to believe that he's qualified to be the manager of a snow cone stand let alone a major furniture store.
I understand that I accepted the clearance furniture "as-is", but I was led to believe that it was new furniture with imperfections. It was not until we called and spoke to TRISTAN that he told us that the "as-is" furniture could have been at someone's house for 3 years and then returned to the store. He told my wife, "you bought it, I don't care what you do with it, but I'm not taking it back".
This is a very misleading business practice and I can't believe that I now have a sofa that has been used by someone for an extended period of time. Enough time to leave a giant ball of dog hair embedded within the internals of the sofa.
WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ROOMS TO GO EVER AGAIN and we will certainly warn everyone we know about our situation and how the manager (TRISTAN NGUYEN) treated us.
NOT a good way to make or keep customers.

I will never buy from this store again!!! Delivery service is horrible and the woman on the phone could only say sorry about 100 times and basically said we could not get it from online cause it all comes from the same warehouse, even though online says next day delivery! My family and I just moved in on saturday bought the couch and we were told that we would get it on wednesday... I waited all day and cancelled things to be here and when we finally were told around 6pm that they meant next wednesday which btw my fiance had to wait on the phone for 20-25 minutes; I called and spoke to someone trying to see if I could pay to get next day service. Not happening ..... I am angered and want my money back just so they wont get it but as I have read you cant do it after 48 hours or you don't get the whole amount back! Stupid just stupid!

Ricardo assisted me most recently. He was professional, patient and addressed all of my needs. I have been a customer for some years now. They have great deals and they have great customer service. I have made many purchases of furniture from here. I ve purchased items from the kids department as well ( Disney Princess Carriage Bed Set ) and all items have lasted 6 years plus. Even the children s furniture with daily use. I would definitely recommend Rooms to Go for beautiful durable affordable furniture.

THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY RASIST I do not recommend this store the very rasista manager was behind us when we were going to leave as if we were going to steal something without knowing that we had paid my daughter's full bedroom for what I paid them $$ 5,000 dollars I also spent $$ 4,000 dollars on my children's bedrooms.
VERY understaffed in the warehouse. Took me 1.5 hours to get my dining table. Movers were very polite and work hard but the company needs to invest in more people or machinery for higher efficiency. The sales staff can be pushy, so I would like the company to focus that energy in customer service.
Misleading information, we paid $2300 for a reclining sectional sofa . The sales associate said it comes with 3 recliners we only received 2 and rooms to go is refusing to cooperate.
They will lie about about products just to get you to buy and get commission. Look at the fine lines and do not believe the sales associates.
Not mentioning that we also ordered dinning room which came damaged because the assembly guys scratched it with blades while unwrapping it from the box.

Bad experience, I bought a canopy mosquito for my daughter s bed, but a soon try it doesn t match so I come back to the store two hours after and explained the problem, the salesperson ROCIO never told me that They don t accept any returns or refunds, so the manager doesn t want to get back my money, after a large argument and I insist to get me a credit from the store, finally he did. Went in to purchase living room, bedroom and dining set with my sister during her transition. She was ready to pay upfront, however NO CUSTOMER SERVICE was provided in the main show room. Disappointed as my sister new exactly what she was buying. Easy Sale! However, Maria Aguirre from the outlet section of R2G was on point! Great personality, provided excellent customer service and did her very best to try to help us purchase items from the outlet. We wanted her to assist us with the sale in the main showroom, however, showroom products can not be sold by an employee in the outlet section. Spoke with Manager to see if she can further assist us, to allow her to receive the commission and was told no, but then they were interested in the sale. Disappointed with their policy went to the CYPRESS R2G and Vikkie Giovanne was amazing! Maria we truly appreciate your hard work!

The salesman seemed to be honest and considerate. They did not have what we were looking for but were very nice.
Unfortunately i couldn't give "0" or a negative score for this one , I would say if you want to buy or even only stop by to see what they have JUST KEEP DRIVING . We went to a show room and feel in love with an ottoman that was really nice looking and baby proof and safe so of course we had to buy it to use as a coffee table when we have friends ( its the reversible one ). when i got the item i saw that it was damaged so i called for replacement within 15 minutes when i got the new one guess what it was damaged again and so on FOR 4 TIMES . After the last one they offer to send me a repair person to see if he can fix it ,I ok it and was informed that the he will be here on Monday well guess what i am getting TXT in Monday that its going to be be on Tuesday. I don't want to think what will happen tomorrow if he cant fix it . the bottom line

Bought a couch, store ordered it for us May 2019 but delivery will be Jul 2019. Store said call every 2 weeks to see if it can come sooner. Called today and a very rude unprofessional employee named Alona just made fun of me on the phone making me feel i am stupid for asking! Tried to report it to manager but unsuccessful!
Sale people need to take a class on sales and recognize buying clues. Most of the time if someone asks questions about color and delivery time, they may be ready to purchase..

This store is the worst choice to buy some mattress - mattress. I bought my mattress in June of 2018 in this store, new with manufacturing in May 2018. It had been almost 10 months, and I began to feel that my 1000 dollar mattress felt some springs and the foam was moved. Every time I changed the sheets, it was worse. I called the store 2 months ago to make my warranty, 1 month so they could send me to a technician, when the technician came, he saw that the mattress was completely deformed. The technician took the photos and certainly said that the mattress was damaged, we turned everything, to the box, to the mattress. It turns out that the technician took a picture of the box turned over and the company assumed that we had it that way. And of course they are not going to pay the guarantee, because it is the client's mistake to have the bed box upside down. The truth is that my mattress was not even a year of manufacture. It was made in May 2018. These people are the worst, they have you in a process of 2 months and they do not fulfill the "guarantee" that the mattress legally has. I am currently looking at how to act against the company. It's the worst experience I've had. And all for giving Rooms to go the opportunity to furnish my house.
The selection was awesome. The sales person was not high pressure. The financing was decent because Synchrony Ba k does not usually like me but they approved me. However, I also purchased from the outlet center, when I went to p/u. The customer pickup crew though friendly was NOT very careful with my furniture. They were not very considerate of my furniture being very light colored never offered to wrap or be careful from getting it dirty. I was upset about their handling all together!!!
So I was asked to provide the reason for the 3 star rating, so here we go....
We came in for a kid's bunk bed. Straight from the door we could see that the selection was very little in the type with stairs. The selection though was ok at best. I noticed that the only ones we could see were not very structurally sound. Considering that kids like to play, that was not a good reason to buy anything. But it was the sales staff that was trying to get us to buy a bed we had absolutely no interest in.
Please train your staff to not be overbearing. If a customer wants help, they usually ask. But when I get them coming to me 10 times in less than 5 minutes, that is too much.
I really would not even give them 1 star but you have to in order to post. I will never shop at Rooms To Go again. The delivery company that they use is terrible. Do no expect your furniture to be delivered when they tell you. When you talk to customer service about the issue they really do not care so i'm not sure why they are called customer service. After reading others reviews this seems to be an ongoing problem. I canceled my order and took my business elsewhere.
I was really disappointed with this particular store. Firstly my sister orders a King size bed and the company delivers a queen size bed instead. After that i decide to give them another chance and ordered a queen size bed for the guest room and the company ships me a queen head frame and a twin foot frame. I call the manager in charge and she does not want to take responsibility for anything.
I was very pleased at the service here at Rooms to go. The salesman got me what I wanted and did my order quick...I was very satisfied

Won't be going to Rooms To Go after one of their CS drivers followed me for about five minutes after I gave him a hand gesture for bad driving. Made me feel unsafe having a man follow me around in a van because I made him angry. His driver van number on the morning of Saturday 11-26 at 7:15 was STX-52. Hopefully that will dwindle down who it was. He looked like he couldn't take his eyes off his computer while he was driving too!

They forget a carpet mat and if it wasn't for me calling them two weeks later I would've never received it!
