The worst experience ive ever had in a furniture store. They sent the wrong item and when we try to contact them they do not answer. When they finally answered they sent wrong item again and this has been going on for 6 months. Now in order to get the right item i have to pay $65 in store which is a inconvenience because i live over 100 miles away. Horrible customer support they will make you suffer for their mistakes.

I went to this location to help a friend move a couch. When we arrived, we were told to drive around back and they would bring the couch out. Seemed simple enough. After all, there were two or three employees back there, and only a couple other customers. Over the next 45 minutes, we sat quietly and watched the line swell. One lady requested a manager and successfully retrieved a rug, though no manager ever appeared (unless you count the man using the customer pickup area as an ash tray). My mind started to wander. Were they building a replica of the floor model on site? Why are those "employees only" signs made of copy paper? Does anyone actually work here? We sank further, and were forced into a series of bad puns as our only source of sanity. Rooms to Go? More like Rooms too Slow! In any case, we retrieved the floor model after about an hour of waiting. As far as furniture stores go, save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere. If you are looking for opportunities to build your tolerance to laziness and/or flat out incompetence, consider this location a veritable proving ground for your masochism.

Be safe out there.

Had to cancel my original date that my furniture was supposed to be delivered, when I called to reschedule they gave me a date that was two weeks away, the furniture was my grandkids so they just had to sleep on the floor a little longer.

There is a racist Asian manager at this location b...

There is a racist Asian manager at this location by the name TRISTAN NGUYEN . This man argued with me over a bench until I called the police to the store. They told me they would include the bench with the dining table set I had already purchased CASH the previous day but when I went to pick up they told me it couldn t be sold because it was a display. I told him the previous week they sold a vanity table to me that was a DISPLAY and there had been no issue. So what was the problem? He couldn t explain and this man never apologized for the incorrect information given to me by his staff only arrogantly and rudely told me over and over that I would not get my money back for the dining table and the only way I could get the used display bench was if I paid $100 for a new one. The next day I went to pick up my dining table and a nice sales man told me not to worry he would give me a NEW bench and i took it all home. What was so hard about doing that in the first place Manager TRISTAN NGUYEN?!!! Hmmm? And the thing is that if he would have had a different attitude i would have paid even $200 cash for the darn thing. I think this man needs a different career as customer service is definitely not his forte.

Ordered furniture. Was told delivery would be confirmed soon. Soon was 2 weeks after order. Rooms to go selected the delivery date and time range. I called to change the time frame and was told that since the delivery is scheduled within 2 days of this phone call that all they can do is cancel the delivery and that I have to call back in 2 more business days to reschedule. I said I was notified of the delivery date and time frame yesterday, well within 2 days of their "cut-off" period. I said this doesn't make any sense. The person said that if I would have called 5 days ago then they could have changed it. I SAID WHAT? THAT DOESN"T MAKE ANY SENSE! How would I have known to call if I didn't know the date to begin with!! Way to go Rooms to go, you need a real CEO who cares about more than the payment.

Great experience at the Willowbrook location. Staff was so helpful and took their time in helping me find what I wanted. I went to the clearance center to find some replacement furniture. Got my couch, love seat and two mattresses for an awesome price and under an hour I was on my way. The third part deliver service left a bit to be desired but I would definitely shop there again. THANKS

Horrible do not shop here! As far as the customers service at the store I have never had an issue. My issue comes with the way they handled the warranty. I bought a sleeper sofa with a gel mattress last year and the extended warranty that covered any possible damage. So a couple months ago the sleeper started to sag. We called the warranty people to come check it out. He said they missed a screw when they assembled it and thus it broke. He told my husband that they would most likely have to take it to the "shop" to repair the manufacturer defect. I got a phone call a couple days later from the customers service department stating that the damage was caused by us and so they would not repair the damage. I explained what their tech told my husband and the lady put me on hold them came back and said ok we'll fix it but we'll have to bring it into the "shop". Ok...no big deal right? WRONG! They came and picked up the sleeper part of the sofa with the mattress on 8/10. On 8/22 they bring a completely different couch to our home. My husband tells them that's not my couch I don't want that. The guy says we'll that's all we have. My husband again tells him that is not my couch. So we call customers service the lady says so why didn't you take delivery? Because it wasn't my couch....where is my couch. Her response....we'll have to find it. On 8/24 they come back with our couch BUT it is now torn from not properly wrapping it AND it's missing the mattress! I immediately call customers service while the driver is still here and explain what's going on. The delivery guy says you don't want it? I said no. I asked for his name. Ceasar he says and throws the couch back into the truck and takes off while I'm still on the phone. I get 3 different phone calls asking why I didn't take the couch and they ask me several times so you sure you don't have the couch in your home. This occurs over the next week or so. Then nothing for a while. On 9/12...over a month later. My husband calls customers service again. He asks when we should expect delivery. The lady says I'll have to look into it. She calls back and says well sir we've lost your couch in the warehouse. You'll have to pick out a new couch. What?! How do you lose a couch?! On top of that a sleeper?! So then another lady calls and says you'll need to call and make an appointment for when you're going to pick out your new couch oh and you only have 30 days to do so. So I did as I was instructed. Then I get there of course our couch is no longer available but they have one very similar. And it's the same price on the tag. But corporate has only approved us for half a couch. So we'll have to buy the other half.......at this point I ask for a manager. He says we'll let me see what I can do. So he gets most of it squared away. So I say ok let's get that one. Well.....I still had to pay $195 for a couch that I've already paid $1,595 for. They say the prices are different and corporate didn't cover the full amount. Don't shop there! I'll be glad if this couch last another year but I will not shop there again! Here's to hoping they deliver it on time too!

Our experience with the Rooms To Go Outlet was horrible! My husband and I are new parents and we started our furniture search at the Rooms to Go on 249 and 1960. We liked the Cindy Crawford line and made our way through the back where we found the same set in the outlet area for much cheaper because it had some crayon on it. The salesman George was great and helped us finalize the buy. Living room and dining room for under $2000. My husband went to pick up the furniture and the love seat that we bought had water damage and mildew all over it. We couldn't see this during the buy because it was under the cushions and hidden. Black stains and water stains all over it. We talked to the store manager Tristian and he offered us furniture cleaner and $100 off. How can you sell this to someone? Mildew and water damaged furniture should not be sold! That's called trash, not furniture to be sold at a Rooms to Go. We did not accept the furniture in this condition obviously but if we had not seen this during loading we would be stuck with it. We are moving in a week and will have to find another furniture store to buy from. I have never had this kind of experience when buying furniture. That mildew will make people sick and the furniture will smell and deteriorate fast. Buyer beware!

My order was cancelled and I called regarding my refund one customer service person told me 3-5 days it will be back on my card. 2 days later I called and I was told a refund check is issued and 7-10 days before I receive it. People need to tell the customer the right information the first time! Very disappointed!

This is the worst furniture store that I have ever been. The manager, the sell persons are suck. They do not have any responsibility on what they sell. I bought the brand new dinning table. I had to pay $80 for third company to delivery because they did not have delivery. The brand new table that I received was broken on the edge. Asked them for being responsible and they only agreed to exchange when you bring your table back and pick up another one by yourself. Please be careful with this store.

Bought a $4,000 living room set from them in 2014. The couch and loveseat was a microfiber type that faded within about 4 months. We called customer service and they sent someone out to come take a look. They discontinued the model and determined that we would get a store credit of $1800 to pick out a new set. Ok sounds great. We go into store and find a new sofa and love seat and if we purchase them both together we would get $400 off. So we were good with that and the difference was going to be about $600 and we were willing to pay that. Come checkout time we are then informed that we cannot get the package deal for the couch and love seat and we must purchase them a la carte. Well that makes it $1200 more as opposed to $600. So yes we got a store credit of $1800 but we really didn't because you can't buy any of the packaged deals. Very shady business practice. I've been a customer of there's for 20 years but I won't be anymore.

Have had many good experiences here. The negative reviews almost scared me away, when I needed another piece of furniture. I gave them a shot, since I ve had good service with them many times in the past. Walked in, found what I needed, and my salesperson was just fine. Friendly and not too much pressure. Delivery went fine too. They quoted 2-6 pm and they arrived at 3:00pm. I was called ahead of time when they were on the way. Only complaint was that the delivery guys did not wear cover slippers over their shoes. Nobody wants people walking through your house with shoes on. The set up the furniture quickly and everything looks great. My delivery was available 6 days from my purchase date.

We had already been to two furniture stores and was hoping this stop would be our last. Turns out Rooms to go was our best option. Amber was sweet and offered excellent customer service. We will be going back soon. Due to covid we were told the delivery times our 3-4 weeks out. But I think we're willing to waiting.

We purchased 2 items from this store, separately. First time the sales rep was very helpful and nice. Second time (name Christian) acted like he didn't want to be bothered and seemed irritated. If I'm willing to spend hundreds of my hard earned money at your store, at least act like you're pleased to assist me. Don't think I'll be back knowing there's sales reps who are like that there.

The in store customer service was great. They had the exact living room set I wanted and found online. However, the Hispanic delivery drivers are very unprofessional and rude. They cannot comprehend the English language. I paid to have my delivery brought into my home and setup but I had to end up setting up my own furniture. When the delivery driver asked how I wanted my furniture setup I gave specific instructions and even gave him a visual and he still refused to set it up. He even got an attitude and began speaking Spanish very aggressively when I told him he had it setup wrong and asked if he could do it right, he said no and rushed out the door. I ended up having to setup all the furniture myself. These drivers should be fired. I deserve a refund for the delivery fee of$159.39 since I setup my own furniture.

in the 25 years that I have been living in Houston, this is the first store that has lied to me. The sales guy initially told me a certain price for a living room package and when I got home I noticed they over charged me $800. I went back and spoke to the manager and he told me there was a $200 fee to cancel. I think the employees and managers are not ethical. On top of that I had to wait a month and a half for my living room set. I should had just gone to Gallery Furniture!

My girlfriend and I just moved into our new place and came to purchase furniture. Jorge helped us, and assisted usnin picking out a couch, ottoman, side table, lamp, dining room table, and 5 dining chairs, rug. Jorge was incredibly helpful and helped us save 500 dollars on the deal. On a side note, I have previously pop urchased furniture sets 3 times from this location over the years. Great location. We gave her a general idea and budget, but the rest was up to him. She was very patient as he took his time deciding what to get. **UPDATE** = Spoke to a very rude man in the store. Out of respect I wont post his name online. Apparently there is nothing anyone with rooms to go can do, or anyone I can speak to with the company, that will help fix a mistake that happened in the store. He literally told me that. The fake positive attitude and rude tone was beyond offensive. I asked about having the delivery made to my current apartment instead, and he just kept repeating the policy that unless keys are in hand, they cant do it. Even when I specified that I do have keys for the apartment I live in, he just kept repeating himself over and over.

BUT! I just spoke with a very nice gentleman on the phone with their call center, who actually explained why the policy is the way it is, and is working to help me out since the whole situation is just a mess. He said I do want the product delivered, so that the warranty holds up. He was the first to actually explain anything to me without some sort of attitude.

Milton, the man who sold me my bed/furniture is a wonderful rep. He did a great job in the store with listening to what I needed. He never made me feel like I was taking up his time, and helped me with every little thing. If I purchase anything from this store again, it will be because of my experience with him.

Shopped at the outlet. Pickup takes a long time. Even though their receipt says that you have to disassemble the piece they did it and ended up damaging the unit in the process. Talked to the manager and he didn't care because it was in the outlet store so we should expect it to be damaged. Not shopping here again.

Eerel is seriously unprofessional I would never go back to that store because of the kind personel this stores allows. I signed up for a credit card there and got instant credit and he quickly brought a glimpse of professionalism back, you can tell he didn t care about my needs just focused on getting his comission as soon as I backed out of closing up the deal (due to him not informing me about certain conditions beforehand ), so I took a moment and I started browsing and was greeted by Jorge and he literally had the enthusiasm and engagement that makes a customer want to purchase, which Errel did not have. But I decided to wait another day to see my options since this was a gift for mother, he literally yelled out y all wasted my time no class no customer service what so ever. I didn t report him because of how uncomfortable this sales person made me feel I just wanted to leave. I should have gone to another sales person horrible Experience!!!!

My house was flooded in hurricane Harvey, and I had to replace almost all of my furniture. My in-store experience was pleasant, however I was dissatisfied with my delivery. The RTG automated system called every few days to confirm my delivery time, adding an hour each time. First it was 9 AM-11 AM, then a few days later, 9 AM-12 PM, then finally
9 AM-1 PM, in which the delivery drivers arrived at almost 1:45 PM. They set up all of the bedroom sets, but one set was missing hardware, so they didn't attach the mirror to the dresser. The delivery crew said that RTG would call me and set a new delivery time to come install it, but they didn't. When they brought in the dining room table, they left all six of the (very heavy) chairs in the kitchen, so my 17 year old daughter and I had to carry them to the dining room area where they belong. So, to sum it all up, they'll take care of you in the store, and try to accommodate you, but don't expect much from the delivery.

Bought a sofa set here about a year and a half ago. Sofa mechanics stopped working over Thanksgiving. They reached out to me after purchase to sell me the extended warranty which they insist can be done on weekends and after hours. No that is not the case. I schedule the visit for 6 and they send a text saying see you between 8-12. I call and tell them I will not be there and will never buy their furniture again if they are unable to service what I have. Now they say the technicians only service my zip code between 8-12. So it boils down to this...they sold me the warranty knowing my zip code and that my needs could not be met and knowing they could not service my furniture per my hours. Oh, or they can fix in in about a month on a Saturday. Worthless warranty. Do not buy from them.

They are just worried about making money and not about the customer. I talked to Dahl in the outlet back section and asked him if they match other's prices. They sell the Crown Mark 2727 Fulton Counter High Dining Table at $688. He said no one could be their price it's low already at $688 I told him nope Furniture Queen in Katy has it for $528 WITH THE BENCH I told him I'd buy it right now here if they match it and he said NO we don't give stuff out like that here if they want to give there stuff out like that they will go out of business. We need a profit or more like he is worried about his commission. He then got upset and told me forcefully Why don't you just leave and go to Furniture Queen and buy it there. Guess what Dahl I did and their service was 10 time better and got it delivered cheaper and faster!! I've been in the market for new furniture and been to RTG Soo many times to look around, if you look at my reviews and can see I purchased my furniture at Bel Furniture and Furniture Queen it was cheaper, better service, and better quality top grain sofas. Step up your service and lower you prices if you want to stay in business.

I will preface this by saying that I don't typical...

I will preface this by saying that I don't typically write reviews. If I find a business I don't like, then I typically just stop giving them my business and go about my life. However, Rooms To Go has ticked us off so much that I will NEVER buy from them ever again. As a furniture business you only have to do two things 1) sell furniture and 2) deliver it. You're not curing cancer, not launching rockets into space, not building skyscrapers, bridges, or airplanes, just selling and delivering furniture. My wife and I bought a sectional couch in mid to late November. It was supposed to be delivered the December 14th. My wife went into labor with our child and we were recovering in the hospital which is 5 minutes from where we live so we needed 15 minutes notice to let the delivery guy in. They were supposed to call and let us know 30 minutes before they came and gave us a time windows that would make cable man blush. We get a call at 7pm (the very end of their window) that they were sitting in front of our house. We asked them if they could wait a few minutes and were told we needed to reschedule. The earliest they could reschedule was Jan 3. The day comes and they gave us a time window of 12pm-4pm. Get a call around 4pm that it should be there by 5:30-6. Call again at 6 and was told it would be 7-7:30pm. Called again and said they would come in the next hour. Called again at 9pm and was told the truck had problems and that we wouldn't get it until the next day but that they would prioritize us to be within the first few stops. They finally delivered it around 1:30-1:45pm with........the wedge piece of the sectional missing AND a small rip in the couch. Called them back and the earliest they could replace the damaged piece and the wedge for the sectional was two weeks. I lost it and demanded my delivery CHARGE (yes you are charged for a subpar delivery) back and asked what else they were going to do for all the trouble we have gone through. You know what they said "Sir you only had trouble with our delivery so why would we give you anything more back?" The worst customer service I can ever remember. There are too many furniture stores to waste your time here and no sale or "deal" is worth the headache.

I am an elementary school teacher and have been employed by Spring ISD for the past 11 years. I am committed to my students lives and rarely take off from work. My boyfriend is a devoted Houston Fire Fighter and EMT. We are both public servants and serve our community daily with love and devotion.

That being said, finding time away from our jobs is nearly impossible. For two years I have been saving money and searching for a sofa/chaise/ottoman to fit my living room dimensions AND that I would just fall in love with. FINALLY, it happened and I found the sofa/chaise/ottoman that I had been searching for so I immediately purchased it with no qualms. My boyfriend , knowing how much I LOVED and wanted it and that I would never leave my students for such an excuse , made arrangements to be off on the first day that it could be delivered!! It was bought and the delivery date was Wednesday, Dec. 3 between the hours of 9AM-1PM. I couldn t have been more ecstatic!
The day that I had been waiting for had FINALLY arrived and my loving boyfriend took off for the day and held off on running errands to be at home specifically for the arrival of our new furniture, but by 1 PM (the end of our time frame) they still were not there. By 2:45PM we had NOT received a courtesy call NOR had anyone been by the house. So I had to make a phone call to customer service to find out what had happened. They said that their delivery person was on the delivery ahead of us and they should be there soon. So he continued to wait.
At 3:30 we had a phone call saying the truck would be there in 5 minutes. At 3:37PM he went outside and waited OUTSIDE for the truck THAT NEVER ARRIVED!!!!

When I got back from taking my students to car-rider duty I had several missed calls, I called Customer Service and they said that their delivery truck had been there at 2:53PM, waited for 15 minutes, and then left. We did not get a call until 3:30PM so absolutely NONE of the time frame is plausible. I called to see if the truck could go back and they told me they would try to get the driver, at that time I sped off back home to try and see if there was ANY way that I could get my furniture that I had been hoping for. At 5:09 I finally received a call saying that the driver would not answer his phone and could not be reached. They said that since there were no more delivery times for Saturday I would have to take another day off of work. ANOTHER DAY OFF!?!?! AFTER MY BOYFRIEND HAD LOST A WHOLE DAY S PAY!?!?! Since I am a teacher at a low income school, MANY of the activities I plan for my students come out of MY personal pocket so I also work another job on the weekend to get by, so to reschedule put s my finances in jeopardy!!

I spoke to another 6 people in the span of the rest of that night and into Thursday (during my lunch break) and the best they could do was schedule me for DECEMBER 30 to receive all three pieces of my furniture set!!! AFTER CHRISTMAS!!! So it looks like we will have to schedule Christmas at another location, after I have already made arrangements for our house!!! I was SOOO distraught I began to cry in school and asked what would happen if I just cancelled the order all together because I felt disrespected and WRONGED. My boyfriend had already lost a day s pay and now I am going to lose money if I had to schedule ANOTHER drop off date!! They are completely jeopardizing my income AT CHRISTMAS!!!
Rooms To Go s total disregard for my time being just as much as a commodity as theirs, their lack of respect, their lack of courtesy to call and let us know that the delivery was going to be late, and their lack of Customer Service is beyond comprehension to me. I am so frustrated right now and will NEVER AGAIN purchase anything through them NOR will I refer ANYONE if this is how they treat their hardworking and upstanding customers.

It's a furniture store! They have all three options together including an outlet with discounted scratch and dent options. Not the friendliest bunch of people. No one greeted us or inquired about what we were looking for. Some good deals but the poor customer service was disturbing.

Lots of selections, you get what you pay for, sales people are a little to hungry which is good and bad. It would be nice to be able to walk around and not be asked by everyone if you need help. I'll contact you when and if I want help.

Great experience in RTG. Tinos was the salesperson to help guide me in selecting the perfect furniture! He immediately greeted me upon entering the store and didn t hover or pressure me. He checked in about 3 times and I was there for about 1.5 hours looking (I can be a bit indecisive). I didn t intend to buy today and still wanted to look around at other places, however, the service from Tinos was so spectacular and genuine that I purchased same day. I d purchase again from Tinos! Thank you for your detailed assistance!

They have great furniture options but one of the managers was rude a f. They told us we had to wait 3 weeks for delivery so we said no thanks and as we were trying to leave she said no matter where we would have to wait.

1. Let us figure that out for ourselves.
2. AFW in Katy had ALL of our furniture (6 piece bedroom set, 3 piece living room set; dining table & chairs) delivered within 2 days of purchase anddddd was less expensive for the same quality of furniture!!!

They have great stuff but I hate going because when you tell someone you are looking five more come and ask you the same stuff. Its hard to look for future without getting hounded by the sales team. Sometimes you don't know what you want I just want to look comfortably without constantly being asked what you are looking for....damn I don't even know myself.

Purchased a sectional a little over a month ago an...

Purchased a sectional a little over a month ago and we were supper excited about it. Told us it would be delivered in 3 weeks. Fast forward to the delivery date and turns out they brought the wrong side sectional. We call customer service and they said they would take care of it and set another delivery date to deliver the correct sectional. Delivery was scheduled for 6/20 and on 6/18 they call and state that it was getting delivered on 6/19. My husband even took off from work to be there. The customer rep said they did not have anything available for the day the originally told us it would be delivered but that they could calls us an hour or so before they would deliver it so that someone could be at the house. So today my husband leaves work to be there and turns out they delivered the same wrong sectional again. We are supper upset at how this is being handled. To top it off they wanted us to keep the wrong couch. What a joke.

They had 2 different managers talk to me about their warranties. 6 sectional couches were part of my $3500 livingroom purchase. Had a lifetime supply of the cleaner, which I applied diligently every 2-4 weeks. And, as you can see, it just fell apart. I tried calling their customer service department and corporate office, but basically what they told me that they do Not warranty their garbage quality. So if you are buying stuff here and getting a "great deal", keep in mind that you would have to do it again in3-5 years as it is absolutely one of the lowest levels of quality out there.

They convinced me to buy insurance for Sofa cleaning since I have kids and they can get easily dirty. But at the time of the service, they refused to clean the sofa even I spent there like 7K Dollars, and they were not very dirty, because they cover only few tiny spots. Be aware please, you will just waist your money.
