Must go place for every turist in Dublin! You can get there by public transport from the city centre, abd then after 15min walk you can enjoy world class views in huge, beautifully kept and diverse gardens. The only downside is that Avoca cafe is always very crowded and tge exposition in the palace is quite poor.

Lovely setting. The weather was lovely and the gardens were so nice to spend time in. The cafe/restaurant was relaxed and it was great to be able to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the surroundings

Great value for 10 Euros entrance. You can use it all the day, so the best idea is to buy it in the morning just in case you want to go back.
The gardens are amazing and they take good care of them. They are even wedding receptions organized there.
If you make a reservation for the powerhouse hotel the entrance is not include. I am just pointing out it because we thought that it was included.

It's lovely place to spend some time. You need couple of hours to see everything around. I went on one of dry summer so lots of grasses were not left green. But the view and live flowers are great to see. I felt it's very similar to botanical garden in Dublin. Tried food at terrace Cafe and it was owful.

Well maintained garden with a great view of the sugar loaf mountains. They have small walk talkies like thing that explains you about the trees and it's history so I recommend borrowing them at the help desk.
The states are so beautiful and loved the Japanese garden. The gift shop is too pricy but they are mostly handmade so it's expected to be costly. Public toilets available.

It is a very beautiful place. It is well worth the 10 ticket. Let them take an audio guide for free. This audio is even interesting for children as it poses challenges to solve with the family. It is very interactive and promotes a deeper cultural knowledge in a very fun way. From this place you can see a mountain that reminds Mordor of the movie Lord of the Rings. It should be noted that the mansion of this place is the one that appears in the film "the Count of Monte Cristo". For fans it is wonderful to be in this place.
I recommend!

Rated No.3 in the World's Top Ten Gardens, this place truly has to be seen to be believed. Breathtaking views of the Sugarloaf Mountain throughout and trails designed to capture the imagination of little ones, spurring them on to see what's around the corner It's a truly wondrous family outing and ranks in my personal Top 10 places to see in Ireland. Excellent value for money as tickets allow for same day re-entry. Absolute must see! Pet Cemetery and Tower Valley are personal family favourites!

Magnificent place. Unbeatable location. Borrowed landscape of the Sugarloaf and Wild Wicklow a fitting backdrop to the amazing Palladian mansion with it's Italinate gardens. Love having coffee on the peron and escaping into another world.

The tour of the Gardens starts with an informative short film about the Estate. Then you pick-up your audio player and point it to posts throughout the gardens categorized by colours pertaining to your area of interest: history, architecture, etc. The gardens in May were in full bloom with rhodos, azaleas, camelias and many perennials. There are beautiful vistas reminiscing of Butchart Gardens in British Columbia, Canada, or Versailles, France. We spent a very enjoyable 2 hours touring the different gardens. Really beautiful with the Wicklow Mountains in the background.

Beautiful well-kept gardens overlooking the nearby mountain range, with the house, equivalent to our 18th-century mansions. It is not allowed to enter the historical part of the house (there are exhibitions and interactive presentations that are paid separately). Admission approx. 10 euros. Can be paid at the entrance from the car and at the box office in the house. Parking is free. Nice weather is needed.

This was the first time that we have visited Powerscourt House and Gardens. It was simply exquisite. The gardens were stunning and in immaculate condition. We loved the Japanese Garden and then found the Pet Cemetry, quirky but amazing. You could spend all day strolling around these gardens. My wife loved the maze of shops in the house and the lovely Avoca food products. The garden centre was great and well stocked even though we were at the end of the summer season for garden centres. We will be back again in the spring to see how these gardens change from season to season.
