The drive in to Powerscourt is a feast for the eyes it has spectacular views of the sugar loaf mountain, the giant tree lined road with a golf course on one side leads up to the big estate and house. Well worth the time to visit the place from Dublin or bring the visitors or family. The garden centre is a good curiosity of all things outdoors from furniture to ceramics and plants, then there is the Avocado coffee shop... well known for the local homemade produce you just can't resist ...bought a few treats.

Majestic gardens and long and interesting path. To be seen certainly in the spring given the abundance of flowers and plants. 7 euros each to stay in the gardens all day. Shops and bar / bistro available for a good lunch break.

Absolutely beautiful place. Even the driveway up to the hotel itself gave you beautiful views of the hills and mountains surrounding. I spent the day in the spa. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Before and after my treatment I was free to use the thermal suites, the swimming pool and the relaxation room which had different types of tea as well a fresh and dried fruits. Overall very relaxing experience and is very much worth the money.

Food choices here are terrible all I could give my picky kids is pancakes. Overall I give it 2 stars because there are too many flowers and no activities to do and there's a forest at the bottom of the stairs if you go outside of the restaurant.

The plant is getting better every year. The gardens are of course always worth seeing, but there are always innovations. The new audio guides are very informative and interesting. The film about the history of Powerscourt is also new.

It takes you only 50-60 minutes from Dublin and walk 15' to the main gate and other 15' to the gardens. The house was fired in 70's and it was restored as a shop center with products of Wicklow and all Ireland.
The gardens are marvellous...you can stroll following a map indications that provides you at the start of the tour. Great variety of plants and trees of all corners of the planet.
The audioguide help you significantly.

Tree lovers gotta check out this place. Monster trees everywhere. If you feel jaded from looking at 'awesome' clips of 'awesome places' on your phone; leave it at home and experience some beautiful reality in your home country. Truly inspiring landscapes in Powerscourt. A must-see. Great restaurant for food too so you're sorted.
