Beautifule place. I was there few times and always i fell amazing. Wonderfull place for all family. There are public toilets, restaurant, caffe and gift shop. You will Love this.

Great old house, plenty to see and do. A bit expensive at 10.50 to visit the gardens, but worth it at least once. The new distillery is a nice addition.

Very interesting history, beautiful, but lots of tourists

Just a few kilometres away from Dublin you have the natural wonder that's is worth a visit. Not free, you have to pay to enter, but totally recommended. There is a car parking available and a place to have coffee and small snacks. A kid's playground is also available and toilets. Inthe summer you can have a picnic near the waterfall. A must do.

Lovely place to sit, eat, just browse around the food shop or garden centre. Or play golf if that's your thing. Gardens are beautiful in spring and summer. Little bit pricey all round but a lively place too

A truly beautiful place. Goes to show what old money could buy. As a visiting American I most appreciated the trees, some of which had been brought hundreds of years ago from the New World and prospered here to become old growth. I'd likely not have recognized them were the grounds not so well maintained and many of the trees labeled.

I love this place, it's so pretty and you have so many places to explore. You have to pay to see the gardens, it depends the price, you also can buy group tickets, they have a japonese garden and many other places to see. They have some stores before you go in, restaurant and restrooms.

I went because I was told that the gardens were beautiful, it is true that they are very beautiful but I find the price of the entrance quite high

Grounds, rooms and meals superb. The finish in the rooms is second to none. Staff very professional.

This place was known for its huge country house as well as for its beautiful gardens. A fire in 1974, however, completely destroyed the house and so the location continued to attract visitors to the world-famous gardens for years. In the meantime, the building has been restored, but largely occupied by modern design matters. In addition, an important part of the building is still in use and therefore not accessible to the public.
But do not be sad. The beautiful gardens remain there; The complex is worth a visit just for that. And you get the impressive view of the restored buildings for free.

Saw this place before the inside was rebuilt. Came back years later with my wife. She wasn't sure why I wanted her to visit. When she saw the back with the garden and view, she understood.

A large garden with many different parts you can visit and a breathtaking view from the valley up to the estate. There's a fairytale cave system and a Japanese garden as well as rhodondendrons. Unfortunately most sections are poorly maintained: there are just not enough gardeners for the entire space. There are roses growing in trees, weeds growing between the flowers and a whole section of the walled garden is more confusing than pretty, with a hedge meant to cover up the plants growing in between. I enjoyed the place, but people that were more into gardens were complaining often.

Always beautiful when the sun is out, especially away from weekends.

Everything immensely priced the garden with plenty of species of centennial plants and trees next to the hotel, the golf course with the tradition of its own whiskey distillery and fantastic shops to spend the day, do not forget to visit the Japanese garden and the the Italian

You have got to have a suite, if you ask me. Honestly, our experience last year for our Dad s Birthday was amazing.

Beautiful gardens and park. Well kept and worth a visit

One of the true jewels of old aristocratic Ireland, this house and gardens is lush, marvelous display of history and nature's beauty. The gardens themselves are breathtaking if you love the outdoors, and the house itself has an informative tour. The house also features a boutique market showcasing some of the best in irish design and crafting.

Lovely house and grounds/gardens, now with a fully functional distillery you can have a tour round. What more could you want!

Amazing surroundings and scenery - if you're willing to pay ridiculous prices. Still nice for a drive or walk through up to the house but anything else is a rip off.

Love going on the riverwalk here. Dogs love the freedom of being allowed off leash but you must have your dog under control. Can be busy on nice days and cars can drive up and down along the river so young children and dogs need to be car aware. Love going into the forst down beside the river. Need an annual membership to access the riverwalk.

The vegetation is beautiful. The family history is dodgy.

Overpriced for the experince.

If you like nature, serene, calm and peaceful then it is a must visit place. Such expanse of greenery and blue skies is an amazing sight. You feel really content and satisfied. The cafe is beautiful as well with the terrace offering an amazing view. Would really recommend taking the bus route 44 back to city, it's a wonderful ride especially if you get hold of the front seats on top.

Gate closed so we missed the house and gardens but we were able to hike and see Powerscourt waterfall- gorgeous.

Beautifully manicured formal gardens surrounded by Wicklow country side. Zen Japanese garden also within the boundaries. Excellent cafe/restaurant too.

Nice Lanschaftspark, funny is the cemetery of pets, are all very quirky in the upper lass.
In the garden you can make nice walks but the bottom line is the relation between bid and entrance fee too far apart ...
