Gardens are magnificent. The movie Barry Lyndon was supposedly filmed here. Spent a good afternoon just taking in the sights before purchasing some plants from the garden centre.
Most beautiful garden. Loved this experience. I d love to come back in the spring.
Beautiful location and gardens and friendly atmosphere.
These gardens were absolutely stunning!!! Gardens are maintained in an excellent condition!!! It was a little rainy day but we still enjoyed a nice walk through the park (it takes around 2h), had hot drink in the cafe and got some souvenirs in the shop.
Beautiful place to go with all the family. Can get quite busy during the summer months with tour groups. Highly recommend a visit if you re in the area. Also check out the waterfall if you re nearby.
Riverwalk is a great place to enjoy the peace of nature
Magnificent gardens where it is good to stroll.
The audio guides are very practical.
You can get there by bus from central Dublin.
To do without hesitation.
Remarkable place at any time of the year. Easter egg hunt great fun for the kids!
Amazing place to spend a afternoon and also food on the terrace
Good food. Not cheap but the sight is definitely worth it!
And you can spend there a lot of time in the gardens!
I knew I recognized that house from Count of Monte Cristo! Magical experience.
Stay here if possible! This hotel is stunningly beautiful, the facilities are top notch and the rooms are 10/10
I would give this hotel way more than 5 stars if possible
I absolutely loved the gardens here. I was in Versailles a few years ago and although the grounds there were bigger, these are much better upkept and I love the different themes throughout. This was everything I wanted in a European garden and the impressive backdrop of the mountains made it absolutely picturesque.
Mediocre food in the new sandwich bar at the distillery.
Very nice garden with fantastic views. Great for relaxing walk. Allow at least half a day to get a chance to enjoy it leisurely. There is also an Avoca shop and a garden centre there for those who need a bit of retail therapy. Shops are a little pricey.
Stunning! Easy to get from Dublin (you can just take Dublin Bus) and is such a nice place with some lovely gardens. Perfect way to visit in your free time.
Beautiful place to go when the weather is nice especially when you want to relax and calm down. It is good to reserve at least half day to see everything. There is place to eat, toilets and shop with souvenirs. The entry fee is 11,50 pp (seniors students and child have lower prices). Drones are not allowed.
Just a great place to spend the day when you've got some nice weather in Ireland. Only a short drive from Dublin and lots of parking.
One can only marvel at a 'beautiful' garden advertised in this way. Withered lawn. Hardly any summer flowers, poorly tended perennial garden. Isn't the high admission price enough? Pure tourist rubbish. The golf turf next to it was spotlessly green. Rather, tourists should still buy something at excessive prices. Very disappointing. I can only advise against it.
I loved this place because of the great variety of vegetation and sections I had.
Beautiful facility! The shops and the cafe are highly recommended!
Love the cafe, gardens are too expensive in my opinion for admission
Beautiful garden, even in the winter a pleasure to walk among the well maintained grounds and enjoy the greenery. Plenty of evergreen shrubs, some of them even blooming in January of 2020. Will visit again in the summer, looking forward to see the rose garden as well.
Beautiful property with superb views of the sugar loaf. It has 197 spacious rooms including 97 suites with splendid views of the park and the golf course.
Stunning location and beautiful Gardens. I would love to return and see them further along in the season! We strolled the entire property and did not miss a thing. Very easy to escape and have a great time taking it all in. The birds are remarkably always singing and the views stunning. Enjoy your day here!
Beautiful day in powerscourt garden ..
Enjoyed it. Lovely gardens and lawns
Well mantain ed garden.
Must visit.....
Best gardens & shopping in Ireland....... A must for kids and adults visit COOL PLANET.
Wonderful in any weather. Children have great fun spotting each of the different trees along the trail, and walking over the bridges in the Japanese Garden.
Plenty of parking, grounds are really nice to walk around, you can do an audio tour but we didnt bother. Theres a cafe and gift shop. Entrance was a little more expensive that I would have thought, 10 per adult. And if you want to visit the waterfall, it is approx 10 min drive away and another 6
As always it does not disappoint, lovely food in the cafe, lovely shops and gorgeous gardens.
Fabulous place and surroundings with very pleasant helpful staff.
Unless you want to pay the expensive admission fees not much to do here apart from getting coffee
a very beautiful and historic area. In the top three most beautiful gardens in the world
Great coffee and cake and shops worth a stop over even when the garden isn't very exciting yet. We skipped going into the gardens this time as March is full season price with little to offer in March. Only 4 starts as they should reconsider pricing for March: it's not close to season yet so film price is rip-ff
Omg so much to do. Every bit of this hotel is top class. It was a good experience for me
Enjoyed our visit. Hubby even bought me 2 plants to remember our visit. Lovely sunny day as well
Definitely worth visiting
Renaissance gardens, fantastic shopping facilities, superb tree garden and much more - It's clear why Powerscourt is one of Ireland's top tourist attractions!
Absolutely beautiful place to visit. Grounds are amazing.
Beautiful gardens, nice to spend a few hours walking through
Great place to visit hotel and golf course first-class.
I am giving Powerscourt House & Gardens 5 stars as all my experiences have been wonderful there. Apart from how beautiful and atmospheric the place is, with great food and shops, the staff are always extremely kind and helpful. Only today the 2 lovely ladies who look after tickets for the gardens helped me out and organised a lift for me as I had hurt my foot. They went out of their way to help and I'm very grateful. Highly recommend!
Beautiful gardens ... Impressive. My congratulations because they are very well cared for and the views are spectacular.
Lovely but very expensive for 2 coffees and apple pie and slice lemon cake 19.25 euro!!!
Powerscourt House is on the Top 10 houses in the world and the gardens are in the top 3 of best gardens in the world
Stunning setting, mountains covered in snow, Christmas stable, Santa -lots of festive spirit and fun! Thank you.
Very nice and well maintained facility, beautiful flowers, very worth seeing
