If this had not been my first time to visit Berlin, I would have had no reason too leave this property.

To say it was simply amazing is an understatement.

Everything you would expect from a Ritz-Carlton and more.

Had the opportunity to enjoy room service, breakfast at the restaurant and spend an evening at both bars in the main lobby.

Both Fragrances and Curtain Club offer a unique experience.

While Berlin was enjoyable to visit, this property is what I will miss most.

Awesome bathroom and shower felt like heaven. Great central location for all our activities and 1 block from the Berlin Mall. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Doorman always offered us waters when leaving for the day.

Absolutely phenomenal. Rooms are gigantic, lushly decorated, and comfortable. Service is impeccable: warm, solicitous, delightful. The pool and saunas (plural) are lovely after a long day on your feet. Amenities are top notch. Location couldn't be more central. Absolutely loved it. Cannot wait to go back.

I just wanted to have a gin and tonic at the bar on Saturday night. Instead, I spent almost an entire night here with beautiful piano music, inspiring conversations with fascinating people and deliciously mixed mezcal margaritas by bartender Nicole. Unforgettable. Thank you very much!

Excellent hotel, has a very attentive staff that will answer all your questions and help you if you have any problems. It is not a cheap place, but it has a very good location, you can reach the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag in 10 minutes. It has a small pool and also a small gym.

Beautiful hotel, after renovation just stunning, unfortunately the staff is really bad. Staff is super slow, Not serving the right things, takes ages to get an order or even someone to serve. Do not speak german. no cigars in the cigar club lounge. Even they promote their humidor. What a pity

Absolutely horrific check in experience. Arrived early. Was told I should wait. The room could be ready. Flash forward two and a half hours. Was told by a new person that the person in my room had late check out. So they "hoped" to get me in by 3. Was told at 3 that housekeeping was in the room. Was told at 3:30 they would check on housekeeping. Was told at 4 they would check on housekeeping. 4:15, I get into my room. The hotel had me wait for 5+ hours, continually promising a room they knew wouldn't be ready, when I could have done things in Berlin instead. The kicker: the manager told me at 4:15 that the previous guest did not have late check out. Any way you cut it, someone kept lying to me. And consistently. The room is lovely. But the service is a nightmare. Manager offered me a food and beverage credit. I had no interest in dealing more with them. I spoke to four different people and got four different stories. Not even close to what you'd expect from the Ritz. Go elsewhere.

Very nice hotel. Comfortable bedding. Very comfortable bathroom.

Right in the middle of Potsdamer Platz. Get almost everywhere with U Bahn.

Points knocked off for the following:
1) Bad attitudes from concierge desk. They not only could not help me, but they sounded like I was wasting their time.
2) Laundry service did not fold my laundry as requested.
3) Turn down service is by request.

If you want the best experience in Berlin, this is NOT the hotel. But it is one of the better ones.

Nothing, that is bad in every way, around the corner there is the Hyatt, because you know what you have. I stay about 250 times a year in a 4 or 5 star hotel, which is lousy here. I'm a Diamond Member at Marriott, but that did not help, the service is underground in every way!

Bonvoy's Ambassador guests are not allowed into the lounge. It is a pity that these guests are not considered in this house.
Breakfast, unfortunately too few staff in the service, therefore no cozy breakfast.
Choice of food is good, but ate empty.

Breakfast I'm used to better in a 5 star hotel.

Addendum, at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco the entrance was there. There are houses that value ambassadors and some that don't.

Were here for coffee and tea and did not regret it. Could 1.5h cozy stay in the lobby and the ordered dessert, a chocolate cake, enjoy. My tea was exceptionally good, but not cheap (15 euros for a pot). We paid 35 euros for 2 drinks and a dessert.

A more arrogant waitress than Laura from the bar has not come down to me yet. Waiting guests should rather not report, since they then receive only snotty answers such as "I have only two hands" or "you can see that I'll be right there". Loud chattering about guests, own colleagues or general topics seem to belong to this young woman to everyday life. We come regularly and gladly, but we do not like that anymore. She has noticed us several unpleasant, but the last visit put the whole thing on the crown. We would like to forego details here.

My stay was fantastic, except for one strange situation.

I was enjoying my vacation, but the staff came up to me and asked what kind of juice I had spilled.

I just said, don't ask what kind of juice. Orange juice.Turn up !!

Otherwise everything was nice and swaggy.

Good property in a good location (although Potsdamer Platz is pretty dull), but staff way out of their depth. Wrong tariff charges on arrival, final bill was 600eur too high, blocked amounts not unblocked until I called 4 days later, restaurant and reception staff disorganized and junior without proper training it seems. Very disappointing experience all in all

Entered to access The Curtain Club which is an impeccable luxurious bar in every detail and with the presence of live music played on the piano and sung by a singer. Particular and highly recommended are the drinks inspired by the perfume chosen from the bulletin board in the room

I had come to Berlin from Dubai on business and stayed at this beautiful hotel. The staff was initially very friendly and courteous. Room was very clean and tidy. Great view from the upper suite. Price performance is ok but you pay for a certain status and service.

I ordered a couple of escort ladies and everything was very discreet and pleasant. In the middle of the night I felt the need for refreshment.

So I ordered 2 champagnes for myself and my two ladies with room service and an orange juice for the hangover. We waited two whole hours and when I could hardly bear it anymore because of thirst, I ran down to the restaurant. The concierge passed me by the stairs and we crossed. The concierge was not dressed like an ordinary concierge.

An NBA trick, nice sneaks, big chains and a swagger cap adorn his face. Without further ado, he spilled the juice all over the floor. I was out of my mind and lashed out wildly. A fight ensued and I was no match for this strong man. The orange juice overflowed everything, the hallway, the restaurant, the entrance, all the rooms, everything was full of orange juice, everything was full, so full that you bathed in the middle of the orange juice and just wanted to get out.

Everyone wondered what kind of juice is that

If I could give 10 stars I would. This place was an amazing home away from home. The people were friendly, beds super comfy, room very clean and updated with full bathtub and separate shower. Extremely centrally located where there s always a scooter/bike share nearby! For food be sure you stop at Amrit right nearby, their butter chicken & sizzling brownie was great.
Can t wait to come back! Mr Terry Green at the front went above and beyond to make my stay a great one; he was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Most ecclesiastical hotel with room for every mood. You got your lively bar The Curtain with live music and exclusive drinks, and you got your delicate bar Fragrances with soft music and "choose your own fragrence" drinks. And then we have not even tried the Club yet.

And the service and rooms are perfect with soft fabrics, calming wiews, beautyful interiors and pampering staff.

Unfortunately disappointing

Unfortunately disappointing
Breakfast got really bad, little choice, the staff needed 15 minutes for a cold cocoa
The bathroom was not cleaned properly, the mini bar was not refilled within 3 days and with an occupancy of 2 people there was 1 chocolate tablet in the evening on the bedside table
The staff in the bar was extremely slow and inattentive
A pity !!!!

It all takes a long time. The cappuccino at breakfast lasted 15 minutes, the beer in the fragrance lasted 30 minutes. Something in between in the lobby. The worm is in here, it used to be different
