The Pierre Hotel Review

I hang the artwork in their lounge & one in their main lobby. It is a great place. The staff is awesome.

I think there are better hotels but here you just have what I personally want. I'm more of a traveling guy and so I like these hatels as well. Room, lobby and much more were good to offer so 5star

The Pierre is for me one of the best hotels in New York. It has a subtle blend of elegance and refinement. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are sumptuous.

We were extremely pleased with the comfort, beauty, and level of service provided by the team at the Pierre for our wedding day. Although we did not host our wedding on-site, the team s attention to detail and professionalism provided us with a wonderful day.

While there are many elegant hotels in the City, the history, comfort and elevated service of the Pierre is unmatched.

Really appropriate for a special event. Reception or ceremony. Haven't been in hotel rooms, only ballroom etc.

I had the fortune to visit this place a few times in the last two years, mainly the Two E Bar/Lounge and the Perrine restaurant. What an amazing experience I had every time I went there. Staff is highly professional and courteous. Food is exceptionally good and service is fast. I love in particular their Broadway at the Pierre cabaret-type shows at the Two E Bar/Lounge, and their french menu at the Perrine. Some of my favorite dishes are the Grilled Lamb Chops and Slow Poached Halibut which are made to perfection. Prices are reasonable considering the high quality of service and food provided at the hotel. I also love the hotel's newly renovated Routanda dinning room, but have not yet dinned there.

I went for a alumni event and it was very lovely. Everything was clean, the food was good, and it's in a nice location.

Classic old world charm from a long bygone era. Every person I spoke to was professional and very polite.

We felt very comfortable in the hotel, we even got a bigger room, really great service, very accommodating and friendly. We stayed in New York for three nights and come from Stuttgart Germany

I attended a Chef's social dinner at the Perrine restaurant which was exceptional. The hors deuvres were phenomenal, and the 5+ course meal included a wide variety of lush flavors and wine pairings, and a detailed description of the vineyard and wine.

I ve stayed at The Pierre Hotel for a week with my family. It has been a wonderful experience in a great hotel. All was extremely nice and cared, starting from the magnificent main lobby, arriving to the spacious (compared to others five stars hotels in Manatthan) and clean room.
In addition is remarkable the kindness and politeness of all the hotel staff: concierges, receptionists, doormen, elevator operators (yes, this hotel has also a operator for each elevator), and housekeepers.
The breakfast is excellent, and various.
The hotel offers also a large number of lovely complimentary services and amenities, such as a very convenient and stylish drop off service in Manhattan, operated by the Hotel Car, a Jaguar limousine.
Must be underlined also that the Hotel is children friendly and provides them a large number of amenities and toys, in order to make their stay more enjoyable.
It is indubitably a truly luxury and great hotel.

We had our corporate holiday party at the Pierre, and it was amazing. The food was delicious, with a broad selection. The rooms were ornate. The layout of the space was very interesting. The staff was really friendly.

A sophisticated and very cozy tea room to relax in :) (It may be a little pricey, so look for discounts online before heading over!)

The hotel is opposite the park, close to all shopping streets. Great bar on the ground floor ... Small but clean rooms. Nothing special, just a good hotel.

Wonderful, historic Manhattan hotel, with excellent location on the SE corner of Central Park. Built in 1930, the elevators are still manually operated which we found charming. Excellent staff, who can't do enough for you. A great base for a very enjoyable week in NY.

Every time i am in new york the Pierre is like home, they always remember you and everything that meets my expections, nothing has ever been left undone. A few nights or longer here will leave a feeling as you are going away for a while.

I attended a social gathering at The Pierre on a holiday weekend. The overall experience was great. The valet, food services, front desk, bar were all very professional and friendly.

An excellent hotel with exceptional service! The hotel is right next to the central park, if you stay in a park view room at high floor, you will have one of the most beautiful view in New York. The room is extremely spacious, well decorated and with comfortable bed, it is so nice that my wife and I just decided to stay in and order room service. All the staff are really helpful and considerate, we have a great staying in this hotel.

Not very respectful staff, also hotel feels cold and empty, the rooms reminded me of best Western with an upgrade. Not at all what I expected

Great hotel which I like to think back to because I associate so many positive memories with it.

It was our last family vacation back then and we enjoyed 14 days in New York in a great suite with great service.

Very nice luxury hotel, needs some renovation as the AC some times is not working well.
The bathroom is very very small.
The service is quick and very good

Beware!!!!

First I wanna start by saying something positive, the location of this hotel is very good. In the heart of Manhatten, one minute from 5 th Avenue.
Unfortunately that's the only positive thing I can say about this "luxury" hotel.
First the little things : 1. It's not really clean, we spent three nights ther and on two different occasions we saw trash on the floor in the lobby, while employees we're walking by. 2. It wasn't possible to connect my phone to the complimentary internet.3. I asked for a huge plastic bag and they haven't had one. 4. They
block $ 200 from your credit card, each room and each day. That was $ 1600 in my case.I forgot something in the hotel and they made me pay for shipping it back to me. The restaurant not bad (not good either) but expensive, $220 for water, coke, salad, chicken & a steak.
Ok, don't wanna waste your time with the little things, let's talk business:
We had two small dark rooms (about 220 square feet). The view from the fith floor was special, dirty back yard with steam from the laundry. I payed cash and they made me pay $19 for counting the money. $ 1800 for two rooms each night wasn't worth it. But I wanna be fair at last, at least the room service worked out. My room temperature was on 75 degrees when I left hotel on this cold an very rainy day. It was on 62 degrees when I came back. I felt so cold it was terrible.
If you wanna be ribbed of this is the place to be other than that BEWARE OF YOUR WALLET.

Great old world hotel with amazing location right on 5th Avenue in front of Central Park by the Central Park Zoo. Nice venue for hosting large events since it's not in a congested part of the city and easy to get to and from. The restaurant is very well designed and a delightful place to have a meal.

At work at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, and every year The Pierre hosts our Christmas Party! I love the wonderful ceilings and chandeliers, very high end.

Fantastic place for a holiday event. Not only is the service stellar, but the atmosphere is just gorgeously decorated in the holiday spirit.
