Service was exemplary. Location is fantastic. Amazing view of the park from the Parkside Rooms. Also, Cameron is one of the best Concierge we've had the pleasure of meeting. You won't be disappointed.

This Hotel is wonderful. Staff was great room was clean . Tim the doorman was very helpful in arranging local transportation. . If you are staying in Midtown I recommend staying at the Park Lane Hotel . It's next door to Central Park and the famous 5th Ave Apple Store

Fairly tired and expensive hotel on the southern side of the park. Our room was not sufficiently stocked and wasn t properly attended to when we called down. Wouldn t stay here had it not been for a few free nights on loyalty points.

nice elegant location with the most beautiful bathrooms I have ever seen. sounds strange, but they are really made to relax and recharge. You can just sit there in the lobby, and enjoy yourself, or have a business meeting. Tthey have a very nice baby grand piano there. The staff was very friendly and payed attention to my wishes. The seats in the lobby are very comfortable, they provide outlets to recharge your device.
I am excited!!

What an amazing experience. From the time we pulled up and were greeted by staff to the time we checked out everyone was polite and accommodating. The building was spotless. Our room was perfect. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Will definitely be making a trip back

Beautiful hotel, sat in on a meeting, got the steak and tiramisu. The food was good, but nothing spectacular, what you would expect from a top rated hotel. The bar is probably my favorite part, got a beer, some nuts. Great atmosphere.

The excellent service started prior to check in with Ashley our event coordinator. She helped us plan our room block and ceremony space for our wedding. She was wonderful to work with! I also connected with David at the concierge desk before we arrived and he was always so helpful! We also were extremely happy with our stay! My fiance and I checked in on 12/31 and the streets closed down earlier then expected. The bellman and front desk agent, Jason walked down to Columbus Circle with bell carts in the minus temperatures and helped us with all of our bags and wedding items. Once we checked in, our room was delayed in being ready but it was WELL worth the wait! Our suite was on the 39th floor with a beautiful view of Central Park. On the 3rd it was my 30th Birthday and I was delivered a cake to our room. The 6th we were married at the hotel and Carlos the banquet manager was so pleasant. I cannot wait to return this summer and enjoy this property again!

Great hotel that is clean, customer friendly and always with a smile. Depending on what you want you either have to walk a bit to get to times square or take the public transport ( During my stay, giving lectures, i used the "hop on hop off" formula)

No hot water available for tea or coffee in the room or anywhere in the building until the restaurant opens at 6:30 AM, and don't you dare show up there with your own teabag. In a room that's almost $900 per night, it seems a little naughty to charge to rent a kettle. Business center computers didn't work to get a boarding pass; airline confirmed their systems were working. But the view over the construction to the Park was very nice on a Columbus Day weekend of gorgeous NYC weather. Staff were empathetic.

Really nice hotel. We did a conference here and I thought the room and service was nice. Luckily I had 2 beds because one of them had a divot in the middle of the bed. The other was perfect. The food on site is really good and the service was also great. Our conference room was a little narrow which made it hard to see the projector screen. Overall a good experience!

Concierge lounge is amazing. Great food all day. Best free breakfast for elite marriott members I've ever had. Waffles, fruit, pastries, sausage, bacon, lox, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, etc...

Dinner offerings include dishes like glazed salmon, Thai peanut noodles, chicken marsala, garbanzo bean salad, cucumber salad, hummus, veggies, cheese and crackers, etc...

Rooms are very nice with all the amenities you could need. Staff are helpful and friendly. Would totally recommend this hotel if you can afford the price.

The rooms are very cold during the cold season n when you call concierge they transfer you to another department and from there you are transferred to be told the concierge should be able to assist you. The Bar tender was extremely rude to a guests it was actually sad to watch the poor lady just wanted some hot tea, the cleaning of the room was just not up to the standards for a hotel stay at Central Park, we requested a good view were told it was one of the best views and it was the 5th floor homeless everywhere and very depressing for the holidays.

We own vacation rentals in deferent parts of the Riveria Maya and understand the pressures but this was just ridiculous and bad service.

Recently spent 4 nights here. Great location. Great hotel.
The room was really nice, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
We are Marriott members so we had access to the executive lounge. They had a breakfast buffet each morning that we took advantage of.
One morning we arrived at the lounge a little late as they had officially stopped serving breakfast.
Omar ( who was there each morning ) took care of us and got us a table and made sure we were able to have breakfast.
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC.

Greta location near central park. The staff is very professional and organized. I went there attending a work town hall meeting with Executives. I was pleased with breakfast service and the professionalism of the entire staff.

My husband and I stayed there for the weekend and we were not impressed. We have not only had better service, but also, better rooms at 3 star hotels. The hotel room was anything but luxurious, it was extremely ordinary. The location is ideal and that is why I gave it 2 stars, however it is not worth the price. Our first room had an infestation of some small bugs and we had to switch rooms. In addition to that, there was hair all over the bath, it had not been properly cleaned before our stay. I will attempt to post the pictures of our experience.

Location is fantastic, can walk to just about anywhere you need to. Access to Central Park as well as a view to the park is a definite plus. Everything is clean, staff is professional and nice. There is no in room coffee though but that alone did not make the stay any less enjoyable.

Friendly staff at the reception. We got a recently renovated room on the 8th floor facing Central Park. Executive lounge has good amenities, breakfast and dinner (no alcohol, or not complementary). I'd stay here again, location is great.

They made an error with our booking, which is understandable considering we visited during a holiday (Christmas/New Year's). However, we did expect a little bit more compensation than just a dinner on the house. All said and done though, we did have a good stay and probably would stay here again. We were put in a room with a view of central park which means we were able to see the fireworks from our room on Mew Year's Eve.

Beautiful hotel, but they re getting 3 stars because it takes them up to 40 minutes to get your car. I wouldn t mind if they told me and I could have come down earlier to request my car, but now I m going to be late for a meeting.

having spent 1/3 of the past year in Marriot hotels, I expected much more from the JW.

The room was fine and the staff were friendly in person, but the standard of service, the blatant disregard for privacy signs, and the inability to execute what even their 2-star sister sites excel at, was deplorable. We won't be back, and wouldn't recommend it.

Although I was attending a professional event and was not there for an overnight stay, the quality of the hotel was readily apparent anyways. The lobby and conference center were very welcoming yet professional. The continental breakfast was pretty good as well. To top it off, the staff was friendly and the location is quite convenient.

Not bad, but expected more for the money.

Not bad, but expected more for the money.

Paid for a junior suite with a 58th Street view, but got a view of an internal wall with air conditioning units. However they did refund 12% when I complained.

The Executive Lounge has a very decent "free" breakfast and evening light meal.

Small things frustate like there being an ice bucket in the room, but no ice machine - You need to call house keeping. No kids ice cream available in the restaurant, they make you go back to your room and call room service.
