The Pierre Hotel Review

Love this place!! Very NYC. Great way to treat your significant other!!

I was treated like a princess by every single employee of The Pierre and I dealt with many of them during my very short stay. From the doorman who arranged for car service to the driver, Chandika, who, without a doubt, made my stay stressfree. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. I was able to get a very early check-in, which was very helpful, because I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment. The concierge service I received from Abraham and others was attentive and successful with every need or want I had. The manager, a woman who's name I did not get, was very friendly. The rooms are tasteful and elegantly decorated, and they are spacious. Their proper high tea in the lounge was great. My room service orders were delicious and served with elegance. The Etro toiletries were fabulous. The location was ideal for my needs and wants, but I would highly recommend this most desirable location even if it wasn't ideal for your wants or needs. I am hoping to return sooner than later, because the lost charm of places like The Pierre who make traveling such a pleasurable experience is becoming harder and harder to find! Book your stay; you won't regret it!

Visited The Pierre for a work event and conference. It still stands up well as a classic 'Old New York' hotel and facility, and although a few parts of it are a little tired or outdated, it's in excellent condition overall. Very classy.

Lived in the city for one night to eat and rest. The hotel is really perfect. Take a walk in Central Park before dinner and then eat at Pierre. The dinner was delicious. Our suite is very comfortable. The staff is very professional. Will come back again.

Attended a wedding at The Pierre and was very impressed with the hotel. My only complaint was that their AC is way too inadequate for such events and the hall was much hotter than it should be

Outrageously priced. No wonder hardly anyone at peak lunch time although has fabulous location.

Outstanding. For non-guests, lot's of cozy places to have drinks or tea, and Le Caprice is a classic from London.

Old school ambience. But since they dont have valet parking, lots of steps to get around, and many technical difficulties with the dance floor, I would not have a venue there. Can get better service at other locations but less expensive. Nice that its across the park, but during the winter that addition gets lost in the cold weather.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for two nights in April and it was by far the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. The service was fantastic, we were greeted on arrival and check in was smooth and we were quickly shown to our room. The lift attendants were all so friendly and polite and every member of staff we met with went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was spotless, beds were huge and so comfy, the towels were so soft and we had everything we needed and more in the room. For example, they saw my sunglasses on the side and left me a Pierre glasses cloth to clean them as well as make up wipes, etc. We had a room on the 36th floor with a view overlooking Central Park and it was the most breathtaking view I have ever seen, especially at night time when the park is all lit up and you can see the skyscrapers in the distance. On one of the evenings, we also sat in the bar for drinks an some canapes, the food was delicious and again, service was spot on. Overall, fantastic stay at the Pierre and we would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

High end luxuries hotel in the middle of Manhattan, easy access to all of Manhattan

Went to a function here. Very old fashioned. 1965 wants it's decor back.

Gorgeous interior. Very easy to move around. Wonderfully clean and well organized staff. Had a great time.

Great spot for professional and social events. Good food and service.

Be better off just flying to a different city Any other hotel in the same price range that s not in this city will be a lot better Unless of course you want them to record you in your room that s what they do at this hotel

The most wonderful hotel in all of New York City, for a taste of old style New York glamour there is nothing like coming here. Visit the bar for a quiet cocktail. Sirio recently opened up as their restaurant which has amazing food. Very Gatsby-ish.

Was attending a charity event. The room while a little dated, is Charming in its own way and is quite unique. Service and presentation were flawless. Overall an excellent event.

Classic, spacious rooms and bathrooms. I got upgraded to a suite for free, which was nice if not unnecessary for my one-night stay. I loved the huge bathrooms.

Great hotel. Amazing service. Unparalleled Central Park views.

There was a wedding coordinator there who was an absolute nightmare. She was hilariously rude to every staff member she crossed. I felt as though hotel management should have contained her. It was embarrassing and uncomfortable.

Beef short ribs were amazing so was the dessert selections. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Wine list is very extensive. Would highly recommend

Glamorous but in need of a refresh. Food is your typical hotel fare- properly cooked beef dishes with lackluster veggies, classic pastries and deferential, bow tied service.

Great hotel and amenities, great staff, some housekeeping shifts lack common sense though (throwing away spoiled food, providing utensils)

I came here for a corporate event. The decor is astounding. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

I am the room is correct, but with a huge problem, it is superbruiante, and the view is shameful for a 5 stars! The noise is that of air conditioners !!!!!! that we hear despite the firm windows,! The staff is kind and courteous

Snobby waitresses, ok food, nobody's smiling. they think they are to good for their customers. A lot of way better and friendlier restaurants in town. don't waste your money go somewhere else. limited menu and short wine list , ehh , decor.

Great hotel right on Central Park and 5th Avenue. Wonderful view from the upper floors. Very friendly staff and great quality at breakfast. We were there for a week and were very satisfied. The way in which the problems are solved on site is really exemplary.

Beautiful location for a company holiday party. Ballrooms were ornate and old school but well maintained. Very easy to get to and a great Central Park/Mid Town location.

Thanks for the amazing apartment you guys provide for us. It was one of the more luxurious hotels that I have stayed in and of course I would go back there another hundred times!

They charged 30$ to put a pillow and a cover on the couch for a kid. When I asked for a bed for my kid they did that on the couch. A pillow and a cover for 30$

From the service, to the decor, to the cleanliness... just perfect!

The hotel was easily accessible by subway and met all expectations.
