Best part of the hotel: LOCATION! It sits on top of a mountain providing amazing views. The drive up is slightly steep but simple enough that any vehicle can make it. Side note- the city trolley visits the hotel every 30mins so you can park and ride down. Worst part: CROWED. parking can be tight, you will hear dogs barking since animals are allowed to stay -not too bad though but the worst is the beetles. Yes you will have a few beetles sleeping next to you. This is because the hotel is close to the national park and the Kudzu beetle loves the warmth. Your balcony will be full of them and they will make their way in your room and nustle up to you in bed.

Fantastic hotel, very clean, staff was friendly, the pool was a blast, and the was beautiful. If I had to complain about something and this is just me knit picking the mattress was a bit to hard for my liking.

Had a great time at this motel. The rooms were nice with a great view of downtown Gatlinburg. The restaurant served delicious food. The breakfast buffet was excellent along with the friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay here and plan to come back again.

LOVED our stay at Park Vista! Unique look with amazing views. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite and fell in love with the room and waking up to the mountain views. The breakfast staff were wonderful and the trolley shuttle was extremely convenient. We will absolutely make sure to stay when we visit Gatlinburg again!

Nice clean rooms and wonderful beds. This is a very family-oriented hotel. The pool is so full of children (which I have 3) that it's difficult to get a decent swim. The hot tub has no age limit as well so this is not very relaxing. Also the fitness room has one machine to simulate lifting and the dumbbells stop at 50lbs. It could use more equipment.

We enjoyed our holiday weekend trip here. When we arrived on Thanksgiving day, we had been traveling since 3am, were hungry and tired. Although we couldnt check in when we arrived, once were able to check in it was quick and easy. They had a thanksgiving buffet available at a reasonable price. Pet friendly, clean and helpful staff.

The hotel is excellent and is considered almost the only one built from a traditional building of bricks. The rest are two and three aspects, and the way they are built, such as hotels with open corridors .... This is an excellent location close to most activities and the important vital street with large parking spaces, but the room service is very weak even after my complaint to the manager My room was taken care of, but not as required, but this does not prevent this because the hotel is generally very good, and I recommend visiting the outlet near it for 20 minutes, very fun ..... Wi-Fi does not reach the room

We always love this hotel...it never disappoints when it comes to service or ambiance. I don't know how they always seem to bridge the gap between layed back and classy, no doubt it is a practiced skill here. Rooms are always exceeding par, and definately try the food, wether it be the breakfast buffet, room service, or the lunch and dinner offerings at the lounge. Thanks again for a wonderful Christmas stay.

Unfortunately not what I expected and not what I expected from Hilton. Cleanliness was a 2.5 at best, but they weren t following any covid restrictions or guidelines.
Nothing was being wiped down, none of the staff were wearing masks, nothing was being monitored. So it was unfortunate that places like this stoop to that during tough times and make them tougher.:/

The front desk was not accommodating and honestly pretty rude, all the way up to the manager, John.

The pictures made it seem very warm and inviting, but would not go back.

This hotel was great!!! Comfortable rooms and beds... slept like a baby. The hotel restaurant food was so much better than I expected. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The burger and homemade chips are hard to resist once you ve have them you will want more. The warm cookies waiting at the desk each day when we returned for our adventures in Gatlinburg was a special treat we looked forward to. I don t think I will stay anywhere but DoubleTree when we travel, I just hope they can live up to this experience.

We had plumbing issues and told them that it took 1-2 hours after a shower for the water to drain nobody came to check on it until the morning we were checking out after we reported it again..They offered nothing for the trouble

Hotel was nice place and location. Staff i talked with.. very friendly and helpful. However, following cov19 standards forget it. Place was crowded full, and only third of guests had masks. I love hilton brands, but not visiting this location.

Rooms are clean. Pool is awesome has two water slides. Although when we were checked in, we didn't get the normal Hilton pleasantries. (We're diamond members, spend thousands of dollars per year at Hilton's) I felt that was the only place for improvement in out stay so far.

Had a great stay over the 4th of July weekend. Beautiful views of the city and mountains. Pics are from two different rooms, we stayed in the Mountain View the first night and then moved to a city view room to see the Independence Day fireworks

very upset with this hotel!! I booked a conference with this hotel and booked my room. The hotel overbooked the conference room therefore the conference was canceled and they are refusing to refund my room.. I did buy a non refundable ticket.. but I DID NOT change my mind.. this was a hotel error and now it is costing me an additional $50 to change it.. furious!! Never again Hilton!

Arrived about an hour before check-in and understandably our room wasn't ready. Not a big problem but have never had to wait for check-in at a hotel and I've been to some crappy places. Was told would be closer to 4pm a room would be available. A room on a "lower" floor (4th) was available but I stupidly decided to wait for our "higher" floor room. Came back to the desk at 4 and was told about 10 more minutes. Finally at 4:50 our room was ready. Our room was on the 6th floor which clearly isn't much higher than the 4th so not sure why I was told the open room was a "low floor". Barely got an apology from the front desk as my 3 and 5 year old kids were flipping out at this point. By the time we finally got to our room it was too late to get downtown to eat at a reasonable time so we had to order food.
I've stayed here 3 times before and really enjoyed our time. After waiting 2.5 hours for a simple double room and getting barely an apology we will definitely not be staying here again. Will look elsewhere in Gatlinburg for better service and accommodations that are closer to downtown so if we don't have an available room we can go see some things. Because of this we really couldn't even go into Gatlinburg before our little ones were over with everything.

Staff was overall great, friendly and attentive, food at the location was great, overall the hotel and setting was nice, view was great. That is basically where it ends. I was not aware it was a "pet" friendly hotel, numerous dogs and all over the place, disturbed in my room multiple times hearing barking. Our allergies were kicked into high gear. We have pets but know we have to deal with that at home, not normally dealing with that at a nice location when we go away. Need to put in big letters on the web page pet friendly. Only found it listed in little print at the bottom of the web page later. I am sure you will get many that would love to bring their pets but some don't want that. The room was just okay but they are renovating and the rooms need it, bed was nice. Room was clean but not spotless. Do not stay in the rooms near the elevators as you get to hear all the motor and door noises. Would also think they could provide coffee other that the mid grade in room 2 cup. And know that the only vending on the floors is a pepsi machine, would like to have more choices and snacks. A chair on the balcony would be nice. Overall I was not real impressed and I have stayed in cheap to high end lodging all over the US. I would say they could be outstanding but they need to look at some corrections and adjustments.

Room was old and not clean. In our first room there were hairs left in the shower, a cracked sink, and the floors were disgusting. When we got another room there was a chicken wing under the desk. Would highly recommend a different hotel for the money. We got food compensation for the inconvenience, but overall we felt they made it seem like it was not their problem. We used to love this place, but it surely is not being kept up for a Hilton hotel.

This hotel is one of the best in Gatlinburg, Tennessee!! Our kids loved it here it s so kid and pet friendly. Bob deserve a raise !!! He give us the best customer service experience, when we had some questions about the restaurant and bar. We like to travel, and have been to so many hotels in so many states and this is one of the best.

If you want to stay in a hotel full of dogs, this is your place. Never saw as many large dogs in a hotel. Sad for such a nice place. Maybe they should cap the number of animals allowed at one time.

Stayed here 2 years ago right before the wildfires, and loved it so much, we were delighted to see that not much has changed in the view - still breathtaking! So happy to help support the recovery of the area.

Awesome views, great staff. The water pressure could definitely be a lot better and the bathroom in the rooms with 2 Kings were extremely small. Balcony held a huge water puddle for the 2 days I was there so it sucked I couldn't step out for air but since I was there on business and my job paid for the room I was grateful for the accommodations. Not so sure I would say the same had it been paid out of my own pocket.

The power went out shortly after we got here due to a storm... the staff was rude and not helpful by any means... they had no clue what was going on or wgen the power would be restored... we WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE !!! No tv no showers no pool and no guest services

Decent place, seems like 3 star level. Pool was small but had a nice waterslide. We got caught by a storm and lost power and water for our entire night, the hotel worked with us in this unfortunate situation.

I came here for an It Is Written Partnership Retreat for the weekend with my husband. We were given a room on the 11th floor with a spectacular view of Gatlinburg. Check-in was simple and the staff was efficient handling the large crowd coming in for this retreat plus their other guests. The hotel catered the food which happened to be for approximately 300 vegetarians! After the retreat we plan on doing the tourist thing visiting downtown Gatlinberg, the Tanger Outlet Mall in Sieverville and possibly go through Pigeon Forge. Dollywood will have to wait, although Christmas is the best time of year to visit.
The 4 star rating has more to do with the floor plan of the lobby area, location of the elevators and finding the conference rooms.

Our family stayed here last week ! The views were amazing . The pool area is a hit if you have kids . We saw a mama bear and her 3 cubs outside the swimming area . And the rooms were spacious with a beautiful Mountain View . I recommend if you stay in Gatlinburg then reserve a room at Park Vista .

Lived our stay here for the Bama vs Tennessee football game. Convenient trolley ride down to Gatlinburg and back to Hotel. Clean hotel, friendly staff, and really want to stay again. I found my favorite place to stay other than a cabin.

For this to be a Hilton hotel the chairs were nasty. I stayed there last year and they were the same. I thought due to the fires last year they just hadn't gotten to cleaning them with everything else they had to do. But it's been a year and they are still not cleaned .

Perfect place for meetings or vacation! Clean, comfortable rooms and offer state government rate. They have a restaurant and room service, but also have shuttle service that takes you to the Gatlinburg shops and restaurants. Warm cookies when you check-in!

We have stayed here twice and loved it both times. We have a large family, so the 2-bedroom suite with a king and 4 twins is perfect for us. The pool has slides, there's an arcade room, exercise room, restaurant with breakfast buffet (not free), and the front desk gives you warm cookies when you check in. Every room has a balcony with an amazing view of the Smokey Mountains.

Excellent customer service. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was always good and filling. Rooms are gorgeous, even if they do not all have a good view. However, you don't need to see the beach from your room when the Santa Monica Pier and beach are a stone's throw away. Additionally, located right across the street from the Metro Expo station means traveling throughout LA is much easier than you might expect. Additionally, a bus stop just outside the hotel also makes traveling easy. My only gripe, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is that the water pressure in the sinks and showers was very poor. While taking a shower, the water stopped completely twice, and then came back very cold.

My verdict - stay here. This is a great place and in a perfect location.
