Just stopped in for a tour and drinks. I have stayed here in the past. Love this hotel. Glad the fire didn't get to it. Will be staying soon.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I recommend it to anyone who is looking to get some rest and enjoy there time in town. The staff is very professional and courteous. All in all my stay with my wife was the best. We will definitely return for many times in the near future.
The place to stay when in Gatlinburg
Awesome
Expected more from Hilton. This is our honey moon and we were excited to stay at the Vista. Our room is really small the bathroom is tiny and had hair in the tub and sink. The front desk was not very friendly.. For the price I expected more.
Overall, the location and site are great. However, the stay is disappointing. The rooms are outdated and very dark. Due to Covid, there is no housekeeping during your stay. This is understood given the circumstances but is not posted anywhere in the hotel. The restaurant is closed as well. While pet friendly, there s no policing on pet poo pickup. We nearly stepped in some near the entrance a couple times. Special attention to cleanliness of common areas wasn t really made which is odd since they aren t cleaning rooms daily. Such a disappointment.
This review is for the bar located inside the hotel named firefly.
It is very nicely themed and appointed and ends in well considering it's part of the lobby.they have several unique coctails as well as beer and wine....we were attended to quickly and had our drinks within minutes..
Drinks were well made and we're not weak at all... bartender we had was friendly and made the shirt wait amusing.
This bar really shines when you proceed to its outdoor seating area which has sweeping views of the mountin range that encircle it...
Better then most hotel bars I've been too....prices were decent and the view is killer
Rooms and service were exceptional. Attended the ETSBOA All East event and the rehearsal spaces for the bands we're well kept and separated. Fantastic event venue.
My family loves this place! We visit a few times a year! The staff is excellent! We dine in at the restaurant on the weekends when it is open! Great buffet!
the best about this hotel is the location. its on top of the mountains and there isn't much around it, so the view are absolutely beautiful. I love when the fog would move in at the end of the night and move out in the morning. I guess I just love moving clouds. breath taking views of surroundings. the hotle it self was beautiful and clean inside. with covid 19 there is no house keeping but there wasn't any issues for us to get fresh towels, sheets or toiletries.
30 minutes walk from Gatlinburg city center with many shops and restaurants, but the walk can be difficult when you have to walk up the mountain and get steep.
5 mins car drive, there is couple of public parking for 10.00 daily if you don't want to walk to city center. the hotel also offers trolley ride down to city center but we had to wait one time for 30 mins. since 2 came and they were full we had to wait for 3rd one. highly recommend this hotle and definitely park your car.
My boyfriend and I stayed here during Fourth of July weekend. The hotel at night is very difficult to find due to their sign being dark yellow with black letters and is not lit. We actually passed it twice because we couldn t see it. We were disappointed in the parking situation. Almost every parking spot was taken. The spots themselves were very close due to this our car was hit by the car next to us and left a ding on the door. When you arrive late at night expect no spots. Two nights we had to park in the pull through at the front of the lobby. The pool is very underwhelming and a lot of unaccompanied minors being rowdy. The slides are definitely not meant for adults. The jacuzzi is nice. We were disappointed that most hotel staff we saw did not wear masks. It was cool they have a guy who plays piano. The rooms were ok clean. The beds are very hard we woke up with kinks in our neck several nights. The bathroom is very small and difficult move around. If you re looking to book a hotel during busy tourist season or holiday weekend skip this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay. The mountain view was amazing and the room was very nice. My kids had a blast n the pool slide. There is some construction going on and the pool was barely warm enough to swim. Once they fix those small issues it will be 5 stars all the way. We will be going back!
Originally the place had said we had no reservation, but after about an hour of talking to everyone from the receptionist to a Hilton manager, they straightened it out and we were able to stay there. The room is fantastic with an absolutely beautiful view. Customer service has been top notch and they are let friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice , comfortable, off the strip hotel.
Amazing views of smokey mountains from this hotel.... Also liked the ambience...I liked Swimming pool too ... It's very awesome
The view from our balcony was beautiful. The hotel was active and lively. The breakfast was delightful. And our room was very clean and felt of quality items.
The best place I stayed at already booked my next visit for September
Beautiful place for memories, gorgeous view 100% recommended
They tell you at check in that sometimes bears will come down into the parking lot and to "be bear aware." Listen to them! While we were there someone had left some stuff in the back of a covered pickup bed. The bears helped themselves.
Great hotel though. If the central glass elevators have a wait, there are another set right behind you.
Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are great very comfortable. View of Gatlinburg at night is very pretty.
My wife and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary recently. It was where we stayed when we got married in Gatlinburg 20 years ago. We enjoyed it as much now as we did then. Nice room, great view, and friendly staff. I ordered flowers to be delivered for my wife and the hotel had them set up in the room waiting for us. We had dinner and drinks at the lounge and that was good also. Nice food selection and we were able to sit outside and enjoy sunset. Maybe we will be back for our 40th.
Great hotel! The rooms and hotel could use updating but it is still a fantastic place to stay. The views are breathtaking. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and water slide. The beds were big and comfy. We would definitely stay again!
Great rooms..soft beds...provide dang good cookies lol
I have seen this place from far away for years and never stayed. From far away it does not look really nice but I was wrong. It is definitely a nice hotel. Comfy rooms and a nice little bar downstairs. The bathroom in our room was small but we made it work.
This is our favorite hotel in The Smoky's. It's beautiful.
Great place with plenty of spots to hang out and spend time with your significant other. There are great views of the park and of Gatlinburg.
Too many dogs with too little help but beautiful views.
I recommend 100% the best hotel I've visited in the 5 years I've been in USA, without explanations 5 stars for the
Awesome hotel! The rooms were great and the views were amazing. A trolley service stops at the hotel and takes you through downtown. It s very convenient. We didn t have to drive anywhere during our stay here. The staff were very informative and knowledgeable about the area. Definitely recommend staying here!
Food and staff were great the place was very clean I will be back again
Room was awesome. View was meh. I just had some claustrophobia.
We paid $175/night for mold in the showers and $2 for the Sunday newspaper. ... you 'might' be able to do better. The staff is very good and polite.
Staff was helpful, dog in room next to us barked none stop. Moved our room to be woke up be banging and machines for roof repair! Not a good place to relax!
Customer service here is amazing! Great place to stay.
Rooms are nice with a great view of the mountains. Fitness center is pretty decent and the pool has a slide. Only downside is that the internet is a bit slow and has connectivity issues when there is a crowd for meetings.
A nice place. The dinner is crazy over priced, and the bathtub leaked, but the staff were nice and it had great views.
The ONLY place worth staying in all of Gatlinburg. Here's a pic of my husband admiring the smokies from our 15th floor suite. The pool downstairs is AMAZING!!! Oh by the way...THE COOKIE is such a generous gesture and it tasted great! My husband was thrilled.
Great hotel! The kids loved the pool and water slides. The mountain views were nice too!
Bit far from the city center but there is free trolley bus available.
Needs a face lift but overall a nice hotel for the price. The biggest plus was the comfy king beds in our room! Double King beds is always preferred. I wasn t too crazy about all the dogs in and out of the hotel. I understand that it is nice to have a pet friendly place but a hotel room that is 95% carpet doesn t feel right when you think of how many pets have shared the room with you. Parking wasn t the best bc corporate parties were held there during our stay. Staff was friendly and the views were very nice.
I will never stay here again. I have stayed 2 separate times. Hotel is beautiful but staff is beyond rude! Credit card charged incorrectly and took 4 days to correct after having to deal with extremely rude and unprofessional personnel and managers.
I loved the pool and the view and the location of the hotel. My only qualm was the parking lot, which was difficult to squeeze through at some points. Otherwise, and awesome hotel!
Not worth the price we paid! Veeery old hotel. Everything looks and smells old - starting with the lobby (oily stains on ripped chairs, stained carpet, dust everywhere, dirty windows), continuing with the room and bathroom (mold, dust, bad smell, mystery stains on towels, curtains, chair and wallpaper )... The service is inconsistent. Most of the front desk staff were nice. At the restaurant, however, it was a hit or miss. And the food is mediocre. I have to say, the room had a nice view but that can t compensate for the dated feel and look of the hotel. Did not meet our expectations.
The rooms were cleaned and spotless every day, and the front desk persons were phenomenal!!
It was the worst experience in my life, the supervisor charged me over $300 because of vandalism that I didn t do!!!!
After asking for photos they said they need 2 hours to give me the photos!!! after 30 minuets they showed me photos of damages that I believe they did it themselves to legalize the charges.
The manger on duty Daniel was angry because I asked for photos. We are in the middle of investigation and I will approve that the hotel is trying to steel the customers.
The hotel is beautiful and the surroundings of the mountains and the views are absolutely perfect
We where so excited to stay here, the hotel and staff are great. The only problem was you cant sleep all you hear are doors slamming there heavy fire rated door with a soft close system that has failed on most the doors in the hotel so everytime your neighbor leaves or comes in it slammed. And this around the hotel, if we cant sleep because of lack of maintaining doors we cant return.
My wife and I stayed here over Christmas and loved it! Our whole vacation in Gatlinburg was incredible, and we owe much of that to The Park Vista. We had the breakfast buffet every morning, which was delicious. We also got drinks at the hotel bar, Firefly's. The king size bed was so comfortable that we had trouble leaving it each morning. The hotel has about 15 floors, and there are phenomenal views from each one, as the hotel itself sits atop a mountain overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains and the city of Gatlinburg. There is an indoor pool with slides; it really seems like a fun place for children and adults to relax. My only complaint is that my food order was wrong when we ordered room service. But all in all, this hotel is great, and it's only about an 8-minute drive into town. (You can see the hotel from downtown Gatlinburg streets.)
IT WAS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY AND WE HAD A GOOD TIME AND WE WILL GO BACK THERE AGAIN TO HAVE MORE FUN...
Not the cleanest hotel. Smells as soon as you walk in the front door. Staff is no very nice. Not what you expect from a Hilton brand hotel.
Dirty room and charge an arm and leg for halfass breakfast. Dont expect to get any service at the bar in the evenings.
Excellent view.
Hotel and rooms are dated/aged. Staff were friendly. Good view from room. Building shape and age reminded me of Soviet Union era
Atmosphere and scenery are breathtaking. Room is very nice, clean and the balcony view is beautiful! Bonus, the trolley comes right up to the front of the hotel so you can travel anywhere in Gatlinburg for 50 cent per person. Will absolutely be staying here in the future.
Love this hotel! Great view, good food and very nice workers. The best part, they allow pets! Can't wait to visit again
Our kids LOVED the pool. Really great views and very convenient to the main strip. We will stay again on our next trip!
One of my favorite hotels to stay in had few issues this last visit but all in all a great place with all the things you need right at hotel great pool and bar nice restaurant and the best views of Gatlinburg.
I was there for a work Christmas party and the people working were super nice. Food was spectacular. Cant wait till next year!!!
Love this hotel! We stay here every year! The best views, the glass elevators, the pool/slides- my kids love it! Book directly from their website and add the breakfast for a fraction of the cost.
Hotel is going through renovations but it didn't negatively impact our stay. The views around the hotel and from the room were great. The indoor swimming pool was a hit with the kids. Breakfast was delicious, hot, and fresh. The hotel offers a trolley into downtown. It was nice being nestled away from busy downtown.
Not the most friendly staff. Excellent location, breakfast was good, views were excellent. Room was clean.
Good hotel. Just out of the city, but close enough to everything. Pleasant experience, will come back
Would have been 5star but we had no maid service. Ran out of coffee and towels the first day. Garbage cans were never emptied.
Great place to stay. Friendly staff great customer service.
I Love this hotel . The views are spectacular. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The Staff is very attentive. Prices can be a little steep in peek season , but you get what you pay for. You can't beat a private balcony with a view that beautiful.
Hospitable staff, very clean room, terrific view.
Depends on the room. We got lucky with overlooking the town on the top floor. Amazing view at night
Stayed in the hotel January 2019
Found roaches in the room also the pool was dirty had hair and Band-Aids floating in the water
Wifi-only worked during the day when hotel was vacant evening and night did not work or extremely slow
Advise the staff of the issues no action taken
Not enough parking for all the cars everyone was double-parked
The worst DoubleTree I've ever stayed in
First time here, we love it!! Can't wait to come back.
It's a little over priced, but overall it's a nice hotel.
Has a nice warm, cozy cabin feel while still looking modern. Staff is friendly and helpful and rooms were a nice size with pleasant views overlooking the surrounding mountains.
My family and I had to evacuate from the carolinas recently and we chose to stay here. The employee at the front desk, Joan, was extremely cheerful and polite. They waived our pet fee, as we had our dog and two cats. We were booked for a week because we weren't sure when we would actually be allowed to go home. We ended up staying for four nights and leaving early because the military lifted our evacuation order. The hotel didn't charge us an early fee or anything which we were extremely grateful. The restaurant was wonderful. The staff every evening and morning were delightful and kind. Our kids enjoyed the pool as well, which was great for rainy days. We loved that the hotel itself was not downtown but not so far away from everything as well. I would definitely stay here again as they are military friendly and have such a wonderful staff.
Fine, could have been cleaner. Long hairs on wall of shower grossed me out. Breakfast also left a lot to be desired. Views from the balcony were the best part.
Wonderful staff, fantastic location. Rooms should be cleaned better and updated but aren't horrible. Would stay here again.
My son and daughter in law had their wedding reception there. Great place, coldest beer I've ever drank.
Nice facility, with reasonable prices! We enjoyed t he accomadations.
The rooms were very clean, the rest of the hotel was kind of dirty (carpets, windows, etc.) The view is one of the best in the entire city. Riding the elevators was always an ordeal, one was out of order and that made wait and ride times much longer.
