Just what it says on the tin, a solid brasserie with reasonable prices, the menu is what you would expect from a brasserie, there is better food to be had from more focused restaurants, but for a bit of variety across the table, this is a pretty solid option, great service too

Very disappointing and slow service! 15 minutes before any menus received or drink orders taken. The area is decorated nicely, maybe a little too loud to have a good conversation. Breakfast was nice. Coffee is average. I got the yoghurt with berries. It was odd to receive it smeared over a plate and not in a glass or bowl. I have been to the The Ivy in Chelsea so thought this would be on the same level but was disappointed.

Loved the original Ivy in Covent Garden, and we have been to many of the new versions. Our latest visit was a let.down with slow service and inattentive staff. Menu is variations on the original Ivy simple menu, but lacks some long time favorites. Music played by the in house DJ was good and bad, some great choices but at a level where it was almost intrusive.

Beautiful interiors, great music and atmosphere. Staff were efficient and polite. Food was great, large menu but all really high quality and tasty with carefully thought out flavours in the dishes. Not a cheap meal but worth the money.

Been twice and the 2nd visit to the Ivy Soho Brasserie, definitely not as good as the first.

Food and cocktails were as good and the atmosphere is great, service on the 2nd visit was poor to say the least. Our waitress was rude and abrupt, not in anyway friendly. She tried to take drinks away before we'd finished and worse, tried to clear the table whilst we were still eating, when I asked her to come back the look on her first was amazing, I don't think she spoke to us again for the remainder of out visit, there goes the service charge!

This place is really great, good food and cocktails at reasonable prices however the service is very poor, would put me off visiting again

Pleasant place to eat. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only let down was the introduction of a female DJ who played some unnecessarily loud and not inkeeping with the atmosphere. We left early because of it and unable to retain a comfortable conversation with other members of our party. Our experience was conveyed to our waiter. Who agreed with our remarks. Shame it was spoilt.

5 stars!

5 stars!
Brilliant service from our waiter. Food was
really well presented & very tasty!
6 of us had book lunch there on Sat.
Great selections of food & drinks menu.
We had different dishes and all was lovely.
We had starters, mains & desserts. Can't fault it. Really enjoyed it, it does get very busy so do book.

I really want to give 4 star but I just feel something was missing from my experience.
The food is good but a bit plain the only thing I really loved is the arancini! Also it's a bit pricey.

Wonderful private dining room experience. Two very attentive waiting staff, some wonderful flavoursome canapes to match the refreshing Prosecco. Quite un-fussy cuisine which made a very pleasant change. A plate of delightful smoked salmon with a prettily dressed up lemon to squeeze. A simple main of Shepherds Pie with fresh peas, followed by summer fruit with a tangy yoghurt. A good selection of breads throughout, and some delicious white and red wine. Coffee and Tea to conclude what was a surprisingly enjoyable meal. Reminiscent of my mothers superb English fayre from my childhood. Too few restaurants now either offer this quality of 'traditional British' food, or do it badly. This was an outstanding exception. The main restaurant looked to have an inviting atmosphere as well on departing the venue. I would come again!

Mediocre food at too-high prices. Strong smell of fish as we walked in the door that should have been the tip-off. You are paying for atmosphere (setting and the usual boring cool lounge music that seems to be everywhere in London right now). Service was slow and inattentive.

Hmmmmm.... Not quite what I was expecting. Interior was surprisingly 'witherspoon' which surprised me. BUT the cocktails are AMazing. I had a little flaming number with half a passion fruit shell full of alcohol floating in it. It was the best cocktail I have had.

Fancy place with a nice atmosphere. Service was great and friendly. Had some wonderful cocktails and wine, as they offer a large wine and cocktail selection. The food is a bit pricy but is worth the money. Shepard's pie was incredible. It is important to book in advance as it is full most of the time.

Nice food, attentive staff mostly. We got forgotten about by one waiter but a supervisor guy in a suit took over and gave us the wow factor - which is attentive and thoughtful service without being overbearing.
Decent glass of Chardonnay - Oaked.
Clean loos etc.

Stylish and comfortable with fantastic staff, great food recommendations the scallops on risotto is to die for, as was lamb shoulder slow cooked with mash mmmn. The place to head for if you want a fantastic night from cocktails to food, great background music which gives the place a real buzz feeling. Staff are excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. Give it a go promise you will not be disappointed.

Nice atmosphere and generally attentive staff. Misunderstanding with order compounded by obviously reserving original dish, flagging after its sojourn under the heat lamps. A trifle dark and noisy too.

We came here because it's notoriously difficult to get a table in Soho... Over 1 hour wait at Mildred's. We did have to wait at the bar, but it was pleasant and sufficiently spacious.

At the table, the service was excellent and untroubled. If you're vegetarian they have a supplemental menu which has some items not included in the main menu.

All our group was well satisfied with our meals and the pace of the meal was perfect. The wines were very good - we had mid priced Alborino and Zinfandel.
