Great atmosphere and quality menu options. Service could have been better - our host was a bit haphazard. Music is quite loud so it was difficult to follow the conversation that was happening at our table.

Good service. Kevin was our waiter. the duck curry was amazing and so was the lamb curry. Really recommend the zucchini fries while you sip on your cocktails. Cocktails could be better though
Lovely food, excellent service, great decor and ambience. Only reason not giving 5 stars is the music. Not sure why the DJ had to play excessively loud party music at a brunch time meal?? Very inappropriate! Pity - it spoiled an otherwise perfect brunch time meal
The place has a nice atmosphere, it felt familiar to those who have been to the Ivy - comfortable, convivial, friendly. The staff were lovely and the menu is good. I had the steak and eggs. Delicious. lemon meringue baked alaska! 'nuff said!
Great setting and vibe. Probably the best Ivy I have been to yet, but still love Chelsea!!! Tables not close up to each other which is rare in this chain. Problem is the same menu, which never changes. Visiting Ivy Restaurants regularly does not make for exciting eating. But heigh, this is a great place to be.
It was a nice experience. We arrived without a reservation but the table was found within half an hour. Our spanish head waiter and the waiter we're very polite, service good and the food was really tasty. Absolutely recommended.
Not sure - if skimpily dressed maidens at midday don't put you off your lunch, then go for it. I wasn't feeling philosophical enough either to roll with other people's choices.
I was a solo diner at The Ivy. I enjoyed my meal and drinks at the bar. The atmosphere, the taste of food and drinks were excellent! I highly recommend the scallops, duck confit salad and truffle arancini. Their cocktails are delicious as well.
Good food reasonable price, however we were charged for water rather than being offered tap water with our meal. The food was visually pleasing and tasty and lovely ambience
Chaotic, rushed, food was good, but on a two hour monitored table even though not ready for us on arrival, while all around us others dined at their leisure. Did not get it.
Decor , style and food is all reasonable but have been there twice and both times found the bar staff to be slow and surly whilst waiting for our table . The name and popularity doesn t warrant that.
Good food & service at dinner ruined by the very loud music. Conversation was almost impossible. Why have a DJ when there is no dancing? Will not go again.
Great food and service, beautiful atmosphere and reasonable price. Highly recommended! Nice place with very pleasant music, generous portions and very kind and helpful staff also regarding the possibility of having gluten free foods. Very reasonable prices, cleanliness and excellent food quality; warmly recommended.
Great atmosphere and food, only let down was there didn't seem enough staff. We were a table of ten and the waiter didn't take everybodies drink order and the food came out in a weird order e.g. curry without the rice, also hard to get any attention for more drinks later on. But a 5 star overall as the food was excellent and my pudding was omg the best I've ever had, the chocolate bomb it was, excuse the word, bloody amazing.
I have been to most of the Ivy restaurants and brassrie in London. The food, service and atmosphere is always consistent. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is also my go to place on Sunday afternoon, to wrap up my weekend or to celebrate any success; their martinis are excellent. From the menu items i love: the truffle arancini, the truffled orzo pasta, the burger, the grilled tuna loin and the lobster pasta.
The one star would be only for the no dog policy , which I understand if seated inside but for not allowing even a little chihuahua on the terrace is just plain unfriendly and really unnecessary
I ordered one lunch set menu, berry smoothie, lemonade, and hamburger, but the fries were so delicious and the staff were very friendly. I recommend that the cream brulee was so delicious!! When I first ordered, it was difficult because I couldn't understand English well, but he kindly spoke slowly and explained.
Good atmosphere but then again that is a speciality of "the Ivy" restaurants. Lovely cocktail menu but not cheap. They had a vegetarian menu but there were few vegan options which were comprised of salads and a curry. I had this avacado cocktail which had a delicious sauce but not too much avacado. The jackfruit salad was also very good I must say. The service was not the fastest and it seemed almost understaffed. Would go again though, hoping they expand the vegan options
Came here as a two with no reservation and we got seated straight away. Ordered for afternoon tea and would highly recommend any of the brunch options. The interior is nicely decorated and has a slightly different style to it's sister restaurants. Service is a bit hit and miss but as long as you are not in a rush, it's fine.
Slow inconsistent service - drinks and appetisers forgotten and only appeared after the mains arrived. Sweet Potato side dish looked like it was microwaved. Food was mediocre.
Surprisingly good, considering they have expanded. The food is high quality*, british, and a mildly large variety, and very tasty! The steak sandwich (lovely sauce), and steak tartare where very good, service, Spanish, but good and great bloody Mary's! Price wasn't expensive for that part of town either.
*They do use vegetable oils to deep fry stuff in, if that makes you feel sick (as is does me in the short term, silly silly me, and probably causes long term issues in everyone else, look it up), hence why they are getting a 4 star review. To be fair every restaurant uses it. If they used dripping or lard to deep fry with or at least gave the option clearly, then this would get 5 stars!
Always great food and service. There s also a fun vibe at the Ivy Soho. A great place to lunch. Cocktails are also delicious and the aranchini balls are the best!
The decor is quite impressive and there is some amazing artwork on display. The menu is ok, but I think lacks focus. When our white wine arrived we questioned if it was cold enough. They said it was... when in fact it wasn't after telling the waiters a second time it we got a second bottle on the house. My colleagues steak was welldone when they asked for it rare. We let that go, but to come under the Ivy brand we expected better
Very attentive service and friendly staffs. Food was good. A little disappointed with the apple tart tin dessert because of a very strong alcoholic taste which left an unpleasant after taste in the mouth. It s a shame because it was baked beautifully and looked so inviting. I couldn t finish it. Also found the music a little too loud so people tend to talk loudly in order to be able to hear each other. If the music could be a bit lower, the whole dinning experience would be more relaxed. Overall, a nice trendy place to enjoy food and drinks.
