Food was acceptable. Rude staff. Stupid rules like tables can't be put close together outside because of health and safety. After spending 4 hours in the restaurant ordering food and drinks and paying a not insignificant bill the waiter tells us we have 10 minutes to leave the table? Absolutely shameful.

Lovey food and setting, but the service was really quite poor sadly. Having booked a table for dinner and ordered our food, we were served a lovely starter and a great red wine. We then waited a long time for our mains, not a problem, or so we thought. Waiter apologised, not an issue for us, but as soon as our plates were cleared the manager said we had 15 minutes until we had to leave as someone else had book booked the table after us!! Desert was rushed, and the experience was really soured, and for an error not of our making but the kitchen/staff.
Overall, a lovely venue, good food at a good price but poor service that was a real disappointment for such an iconic brand.

Pretty great, and surprisingly affordable given the quality of the food and service. It's got a pretty pumping atmosphere, and is surprisingly big given how small it looks from the front, so maybe not the best place for an intimate date when it's at its busiest. If you want somewhere bustling with great food and wine, however, then it's excellent.

The food was okay, but came with bland runner beans on the side. But comes hugely overpriced.

The restaurant was also incredibly dark with many customers around us taking out phone torches to view the menu. This is made unfortunately a little difficult to interact with others as the music is played pretty deafening as well.

We felt like our table was rushed with service, and were told that we had a 1.5 hour time limit despite booking for a birthday.

Love the outdoor seating. Staff is a bit slow in responding but nevertheless the experience is always good at the ivy. Food as always is delicious and we over order because we can never decide what to eat. No matter what do not miss out on the zucchini fritti it's a must have in any of the ivy cafes.

Always reliable, food is well priced and delicious and the staff obviously care about what they do. Fantastic location too, Central but tucked out of the way so doesn't get too swamped with day trippers!

Visited this evening and was surprised to see a pre 6.30 set menu. A good selection of food on the set menu, starters deserts and mains. Party had the soup and ham hock starter, both tasty and good portion size. 3 mains, chicken supreme & More

Went on a Friday night. Service was good but a little cold/abrupt at times. Food good. They have a DJ on Friday night that got progressively louder - to the point we couldn't hear each other - it's a resturant (with a small bar area), therefore people want to be able to talk throughout the evening. Great decor.

Very trendy place but offering good quality food.

Very trendy place but offering good quality food.
The restaurant is very big but don't forget to book in advance as it's quickly full.
We had tartare and it was excellent
Don't forget to try the deserts, they're worth it.
Service as often in London was average (hence the 4 stars)

What a lovely way to spend my 40th birthday. The Ivy Soho Brasserie was a delightful experience with friendly staff and amazing service. The brunch option was delicious and I very much enjoyed the eggs royale. I would definitely recommend them for a good dining experience.

I enjoyed a top-notch lunch here with good service, set against a stylish contemporary backdrop. We started the meal with a bottle of rose and although it wasn t placed on our table it was refilled promptly whenever a glass was nearing empty. Among our dishes we ordered a steak tartare, which dramatically came with what appeared to be a burning wooden ember topped with rosemary leaves to not only give the dish a nice aroma, but also release a smoky dry ice affects when served. For mains we had steak and chips, which had a nice large piece of good quality meat. A chicken sandwich toppers with an egg which was delicious. As well as a roast salmon dish which was fresh and well prepared. We topped our meal of with an ice cream and caramel sauce dish that was also very tasty. Overall the set lunches were quite reasonable considering the quality of the meal and even the a la carte dishes were not too unreasonable. Overall we enjoyed the venue, the service and of course the food and if I m around the neighbourhood this is definitely a place I d come back.

I ended up here during a downpour and was I admit was very snooty about a load of second rate Ivy-Lites opening up and had no plans to ever go to any of them.
The food and service is decent- It's what you pay for and the service certainly far better than some other more high end restaurants. All in all, well done!
This certainly isn't the kind of place I'd go to for great food or dinner but for a mid market option it's great- More of a brunch place on the weekend or casual lunch and if that's all you're after then this is a great option, done well.
In fact, I was so pleased that I ended up in the King's Road branch some time after for tea with a friend which wasn't an option I'd have previously considered.

Classy and colorful interior that feels swanky but not over the top. Had a nice English breakfast and porridge here and service was on point. Could have been slightly more prompt but wasn't lagging so much to downgrade my rating.

We came here on a rainy Friday morning @ 10 for brunch. Not crowded at all (which I like), decorations are nice (classic yet soho-ish). Had English Breakfast and Eggs Royale - both were really nice (especially Eggs Royale, the muffin was slightly creamy and crunchy). The cafe here is okay though. Definitely a great experience :)

This place is way to loud for a Sunday afternoon. The music is deafening to the point you have to shout and a struggle to hear. I ordered the pancakes which were mediocre nothing to write home about. Overall not impressed.

Overall, a beautiful restaurant, food was lovely and tasted great. My personal experience of the service was meh.
We requested 'special comfy seating' as we were celebrating a friends engagement/girls night. We were sat on a table in the middle of the restaurant which was okay not as intimate as the other seating available.

Sadly, our server made our experience quite rushed..cleaning our food when we weren't finished nibbling. Bringing out fries as a starter...which made no sense and then taking the unfinished fries away to bring out the mains. Maybe it was an off day but the service put me off. Otherwise I would probably return for a drinks and nibbles. If you do visit you MUST try the strawberry shortcake dessert, deffo return for that!
The is a great place for intimate meetings, dates, small groups.

Disappointing,. We booked for a Saturday evening and ended up spending the night shouting at one another because they had put on a DJ with pumping loud music which seemed entirely inappropriate for a restaurant. We had no forewarning when we booked. The manager proudly told us it was what they do on Saturday evening - turn it into a nightclub. The food was incredibly average

We had a window seat near the entrance which made it easy to find my friends. As the restaurant started to fill, it got noisier so was hard to hear. While the decor was lovely, I found the route to the toilets like I was hitting all the sections of ikea. Plenty of choice on the menu for all diets. Had a tasty Keralan Sweet potato curry which was delicious. My blood orange margarita was dangerously good and I could have carried on having a few more. Not sure I would go again. Having The Ivy dotted all over London has lost its unique appeal when it was more of an exclusive eating destination.

If you're vegan, this isn't the place for you. Very limited vegan menu and what there is, is uninspiring. In the end I ordered from the non vegan menu, and that food was pretty average. This restaurant seems like a place that would have been good in the 20th century, but which hasn't kept up with the times.

This was my first visit, I must admit I expected more. It was a nice place, with a buzzing atmosphere, but you almost couldnt hear yourself think. With friends for drinks, it's perfect, but for anything else you may require a quieter setting. Food was nice, but it took a ridiculously longtime to arrive, but the cocktails were good in the meantime lol.

I was able to eat 3 courses on a weekday lunch at 20,000 won. It was different from the table setting, and the dining room was full of sensual pictures. I made tomato soup, steak, and chocolate mousse. The steak was thin and I did not order it like Midium or Weldon, and I did it because it was basically medium. When I actually got the food, the steak on my lunch course was really thin. I could add many things to the side, and I was able to eat fried potatoes with confidence. This shop is really sensual and sophisticated and is a mugger. You can leave your coat and bag when you first enter the restaurant. Because the neighborhood is soho, it is good to eat rice and take a walk.

We were in private dining room for 3 course dinner for 20+ people, then refused service at the bar despite no drunken behaviour, shepherded back to private dining room, waited 10 mins for drinks then complained. Nothing special, good dinner let down by poor service & bad communication.

I wasnt happy at all. The place is overpriced for the quality of the food, i asked twice to change my drink (as they gave it to me without bubbles) yet my requests weren't heard. The waiters were quite rude and felt unconfortable there. The customer experience needs to improve

Great ambiance, great food, great service Great place and fantastic tunes from the live DJ performance. Great stuff, keep it like this. Ps corgette fritters and mushroom and truffle Arancini were the best ever - as was the blue fin tuna carpaccio. This was one of the best meals ever.

The food was above average for the price. The brasserie interior is in line with the chain, not as nice as the Clifton branch. We were given the worst table in the place and had to ask for another only to be moved to a smaller and worse table.

Great food, selection is a range of unique fun cuisine mixes and more traditional dishes. Very reasonable prices, fun decor, live dj. The downside is it's a bit loud for more intimate dinners, more for going out with friends for a night out.

We ordered main course and one steak had to be returned as it was overcooked. Then after an hour and half at our table we were given the dessert menu and told we had 15 minutes left and they wanted the table back. Needless to we didn't order dessert as obviously 15 minutes wasn't enough time to order and eat dessert

Service was terrible. Asked 3 times for water, twice where our drinks were, twice for the bill and were left completely unattended for ages. Been to others before but this was awful and won't be going back.
