Terrible service! rude and at snail pace.

Terrible service! rude and at snail pace.
Ordered a Guinness that never arrived, followed up but was refused with a "it nots on the menu, sure you dont mean a larger"
Long delay in clearing our tables used silverware and plates, asked for a desert menu and was asked to be patient till table was clear.
Shift manager named Leah was ineffective and lacked rumination.
Nice food ruined by extremely poor service.

Only thing special about this place is the service, very lovely and friendly. Food is average, for want of a better word, and overpriced in comparison to quality and portion size. However some dishes, such as the lamb shoulder, help to redeem this restaurants rating. Very loud music makes it hard to have a conversation.

I went there after a tiring day of shopping in oxford street. The Ivy was what I needed. The food was so delicious and cooked to perfection. I really recommend the duck curry, it is a breathtaking dish. A special thanks to the waitress "Kaya", she was very attentive and cheerful. I think she made our time in the restaurant so enjoyable. Thanks Kaya.

To be honest it was a deeply disappointing experience from start to finish. Firstly the food was underwhelming. In fact the mozzarella starter was served with so much water it s as if they forgot to strain it. Plus tasted as if on the turn. My main dish was shoulder of lamb and unfortunately they stuffed it with so much mustard and wasabi that you could hardly taste anything else.

Finally the service... well this was woefully under par. As just one example, When the waiter turned up with our bottle of white wine (mid way through main course when it was ordered at the start of the meal) the glasses where fresh out of the dish washer and hot. When I asked for glasses that were at least room temperature he shuddered his shoulders. I literally had to force him to get glasses that weren t hot.

Then came the bill. Well they couldn t even get that bit right.

All in all a horrible experience. Was supposed to back there again today but have now cancelled the booking. Don t waste your time. The Ivy used to mean something special. Now it s a turn and burn. Better off going to Carluccio s. At least the food is better.

It wasn't my first time at The Ivy (I visited the one at Tower Bridge) so I was aware of the menu offering. I enjoyed my smashed avocado on gluten free bread and the calm and quite environment. Great breakfast.

Better than the real Ivy in my opinion. Casual dress code (but don t dress like a bum), music and funky art make this a fantastic venue. Favorite meal for me is the Chicken Milanese.

Amazing experience. Great food and service. Even when a difficult customer is rude and on the next table the team stayed very professional. Working in the industry myself the Ivy brand is one I've always wanted to go to and it did not disappoint

Broken toilet,

Broken toilet,
Uninterested staff,
Two courses - in & out in less than an hour.
Good food - hence the 2 stars.
Won't bother returning.

Terrible service, OK food, overshadowed by it's terrible service.
Last night I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately i had the worse time ever. I asked the manager for bread for the table, and with a big smiley face she said yes, we never got it, then I ask the same manager for peppercorn sauce to go with my steak, and again big smily face she said YES... I never got it, then I asked the waiter for the peppercorn sauce and he came back to me saying that it was never ordered... then nothing happened, I never got it... by this time I felt that as a client I was bothering then as I had to signal for long periods of time to get my wine refilled as my bottle was placed very far away from me... I signalled to the same manager, again, to serve some more wine and she looked at me, said that she was coming my way, then started serving other tables, taking other orders and taking zero notice of my, AGAIN!, and by this point I was so frustrated that I raised my two arms and reminded her yet again about me to which she responded that she forgot... so I had to ask her if there was something wrong with our table as the service was so poor, I couldn't have my bread before my starters, I couldn't have my sauce with my main course, all I could was to feel frustrated on my own birthday, to which she apologised, and said very loudly she was going to knock off some money off the bill and then suddenly bought some chocolate balls to the table, the intention was good, but she only placed it on the table and left, I literally thought we got a wrong order as she didn't even explained what was that for, because I, don't like chocolate at all... anyways, by this point I was terribly upset and frustrated I just wanted to leave the place, I didn't even order a dessert myself as the only thing I wanted was to run away from that place... they bring the bill... and we thought it was all over, then we realised that after all, they. tried to CHARGE US an extra meal we did not have.. an overall TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I have been here 4 times. The menu offers a fantastic choice and most of the food is delicious. Decor and atmosphere are great and I love the large bar....just such a shame that the bar staff are alarmingly aloof and ignorant. They may well be top 'mixologists' but they really should prioritise their manners and customer service! Caprice Holdings should feel severely let down by this poor service.

Very nice and well-known brasserie with typically English dishes and drinks. Great bar with comfortable seating. Extensive map available. Burger and Royal Eggs ordered, both were very good. The service is very attentive and friendly. Reservation recommended, but walk in possible. Had reserved us but then decided for the bar seats. Definitely recommended. Approximately 20 pounds per person.

This is a solid venue that knows what it's doing and has a tried and tested formula. I was there for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon and was able to walk in with a friend and get a good meal. The vegetarian choices were somewhat limited, although, they were tasty. I had a sweet potato curry, that was tasty, although for the price it was a little small. If it was slightly cheaper, I would have given it 4*. The service was solid, but also below expectations for the price. Very nice fit-out and busy atmosphere.

We were greeted by the grumpiest of the waiters who then kept circling us like a vulture, despite our telling him that we were still waiting for people to join our party... Food was alright, nothing too special though...

Time and time again they don't fail to leave me satisfied. Good, well made British grub. Although music can get a bit loud in there at time - great restaurant - great service - great decor - well cooked food.

Food is pretty good but not the best. I gave only 2 stars bc the service was horrible.
I told him I have a show to catch so I'm in a bit of a hurry. He tells me no problem. Took 45 minutes to get the food. Other who ordered before us got their food n was already eating. I was like WTC. Took 31 minutes to get a check.

The Ivy Collection Restaurants will always be my favourites in London. From the start to finish the experience is immaculate. It was my first time at Soho Brasserie and again loved it. Anne Kersting took a great care of us and it just turned our dinner even better. The cocktails and food were amazing. I had a cocktail with fresh watermelon. The arancini and zucchini is a must to start. Fantastic experience!
