My favorite area so much to see inside and around this area

Amazing place. Advice - look for some of the non busy areas away from the famous works. Some amazing things to see.

Treasure trove of art work from all over the world. Certainly worth a visit. Free admission except to advertised exhibitions. Membership options available.

Absolutely lovely, so much history in one place and it's massive. However, it's like a labyrinth in there. Luckily there are a lot of helpful staff but make sure to get a map. The maps are available in several languages from the info desk More

Nice. Simple museum. Unfortunately I had a few questions regarding the rooms / art which nobody was able to answer to me

Super collection. Thoughtfully curates and displayed. They really do need to do something about huge tour groups completely blocking out popular pictures for 10+ minutes at a time

If you are not very interested in art go to see their top ten paintings. (See their website)
Don't miss The Embassadors by Holbein. Ask a member of staff how to see it.
It is a very large gallery with thousands of paintings by the most famous artists.
The coffee shops are good and not too pricey if you compare with other places in Trafalgar Square.
If you want to take good pictures go first thing in the morning.
Don't forget to look at the mosaics on your way out (It used to be the main entry)
The gallery is free but some of the members of the staff are quite pushy when 'asking for a donation'.
They have some seats inside if you want to rest a little or appreciate the paintings.

Full of famous art, the entrance is free, but they accept donations, it is a great spot to visit for a family day out

It's really interesting. Different styles and exhibitions. The kids enjoyed it a lot.

Fantastic collection, ranging from early religious works to more recent work by Monet, Van Gogh and others.

So many different forms of art and different eras, you could spend hours in there. A great place for artists to come and get inspired or for regular people to spend a day out.

What a beautiful place to see not only paintings are united here, but all different cultures and countries as well! Magnificent collection, stunning hallways, superb quality of the lightening and all for free.

A treasure of a museum, with excellent collection of Leonardo, Botticelli, Titian, and El Greco, among many others. It's location on Trafalgar Square amplifies its simmering buzz.

A fabulous collection of art in a wonderful building.

It s always lovely to take a walk around the gallery. It s invariably quite busy, but there is ample opportunity to browse and contemplate the paintings in each room.

One of the highlights for me was Leonardo da Vinci s The Virgin of the Rocks . Absolutely breathtaking!

There s also a very good shop in the Sainsbury wing which is worth a look around!

A wonderful collection of art to satisfy most tastes. It is free attraction which is great if you just want to pop in for an hour, like I did. The staff are very helpful and want you to get the most out of you visit. The rooms are quite airy making visiting with a pram quite manageable.

This free gallery has some of the finest art in the world. One of my favourite places to spend a day, afternoon, or a free hour!

It's hard to rate anything lower since it's actual paintings from famous artists

Gauguin portraits finishing soon. Well worth going, see another side of this painter that we normally associate with exoticism.

Huge, packed gallery bang in the centre of the city. Surely one of the best attended in the world. Walk round at a decent clip or you could lose hours in here.

I'm not much of an art connoisseur, but I really enjoyed seeing the impressionist paintings. Particularly Seurat, Monet and Degas.

Really good gallery. Free entrance. My reccomendation. I specially liked impresionists.

Shame it has to close for so long.It is good to be able to see those heroes of yesteryear who have inspired me

In addition to special exhibitions, there is always something to see in this gallery, even if visited.

One masterpiece after another. What a great assemblage of European art. I wasn't sure how long I'd be there so I didn't get an audio guide, but even wandering around haphazardly for 2 hours, I was blown away and trying to find time on my schedule to go back. My suggestion is spend lots of time there, do some research and make a plan before you go.

Amazing, giant museum but I'm partial to more contemporary art so it doesn't get 5 stars. Very well kept and well organized.

Amazing collection of art although mostly European. You can come and see really beautiful paintings free of charge

What a real pleasure! So many noticeable artists' work is displayed. Take your time, there's much to see.

You don't have to pay for ticket. It's free. You can enjoy famous paintings freely. There are many chairs between paintings.

Make sure to visit while there is a traveling exhibit. Was nice. Bathrooms look like a set where a mission impossible or bond fight scene would go down.
