Wonderful museum in central london with an extensive collection big must see master pieces.

Absolutely amazing. It's a very well curated and maintained gallery. Entry is free and the information desk is useful for first time visitors. It's great to see some of the most iconic paintings of all time. I loved it and I think it should definitely be in schedule especially for the art lovers. There is a cafe as well to chill and take a break. It's super close to Covent garden and Leicester square.

I sometimes feel, as I do in writing this review, that I'm not as moved by art as I "should" be. As such, the National Gallery didn't strike me as it has other visitors and other museums. Don't get me wrong, their collection is impressive and I would highly recommend a visit if you're interested in art history or the history of the Western world as expressed in art. Also, the layout is less than intuitive, especially when compared with the Portrait Gallery next door - the National Gallery lacks a narrative to provide structure for the flow of a visitor's experience.

A place where I can simply spend weeks. It is easy to navigate the rooms and to recognise the changing pattern over time.

For painting and history lovers, MUST visit! FREE admission. Vincent Van Gogh and also other world s famous artists souvenirs are tempting to buy at reasonable price.

Awesome day out, recommend for art lovers, not souch for teens and children though.

Great place for students to do studies. Wheelchair accessibility is good, but was a bit confusing at times. Exhibits were great and I really enjoyed the overall experience that was offered to us all, and especially a great visit because you can't get any better than free.

A lovely place with a bar on the ground floor! The gallery is really big and you can get lost in there, but don't worry they sell maps! Anyways there are really more than 300 pictures I think and there is also the "sunflowers" of Van Gogh. A pretty place to visit

Went for the magic carpet time for kids. My daughter loved it! Guitar playing guide was lovely to all the kids. Highly recommend it.

Great experience. Massive Gallery with some greats pieces on display. It was extremely busy. Would take a good 3 hours to see everything.

The absolute masterpieces by geniuses they all are genuine and worth more than visiting . It is all free to visit such a marvellous casts. Your spirit will dance with the wave of feelings.

This iconic gallery is a must see attraction for any visitor to London.Centrally located overlooking Trafalgar Square, the main gallery is free to visit. It's a wonderful space to spend a couple of hours in and enjoy many renowned and fantastic paintings by some of the most notable artists in history. I go several times a year for therapy ! but most recently to the Landseer exhibition to see the famous Monarch if the Glen ,a stunning painting of a red deer stag set in Scottish Highlands, awesome!

Because we can see a world in one only place. But be smart, not in one day

The national gallery has many famous paintings, it's collection includes Sunflowers by Van Gogh. I would recommend this to any student studying art or any art enthusiast. It is often a good idea to select a few pictures that you want to see and go with the intention of seeing said pictures. There is a list of what to see on their website. Be aware that cerian pictures may be on loan to other galleries. Overall a good day out and something you must do to add some culture to a trip to London.

My favourite place in London. I go there twice per month, to look at a few paintings, discover things I had previously overlooked, be moved by a painter I had previously neglected.

even if you're not into art, you should definitely pay this gallery a visit! it's full of works by really famous and well known artists, and just walking around inside is an enriching experience!

Very interesting gallery plenty of paintings and sculpture to look at, plenty of places to sit and look at the artwork, good gift shop not to expensive, coffee shop OK, and it's free to enter only dropped one star cause they searched my 12 year old daughter for no reason.

I went to the Monet exhibition (about the painter's interest in architecture). Very enjoyable.

A wonderful museum in the centre of London. All pictures from the most important painters from all over the world. The Impressionismus room is really amazing. I've just stayed there staring at the pictures for too much time...

One of the best galleries in London. Ideal to explore in small quantities, rather than trying to cover the whole thing in one go.

A comprehensive and well kept collection - a classic museum in London

I went there without a plan for the visit. That's when I can be unstrained and just be open for every impression able to be spotted by my consciousness.
I didn't know where to start from and just picked a random quarter.
I tried reading a few of the artefact's description, which gave me a better understanding of the civilization belonging to that period.

This place is huge and fascinating, make sure you take a guide map otherwise you'll get lost like I did. Will be going again as 2 hours is not long enough to see everything!

Got a wide variety of Artists Michael Angelo to van Gogh. All in year order. Lovely gallery.

Free admission and there are good restaurants and a cafe and, of course, the gift shop.

Always very crowded, but with beautiful paintings to see

Free art for all, every now and again you are reminded that we are still a civilised nation afterall! Went to the Giovanni de Rimini exhibition in the one gallery beautiful workmanship from the early 13th century, such vivid colours and details on all the works on show.

Many of my favourite paintings live here, I love to pop in for short visits and long visits. Shops have great presents too.

More paintings than anyone could feasibly see in one trip. Well worth it for the landscapes

The best art gallery in the world. Hundreds of famous British, Dutch and French and other world-class artists works. Set out in vast rooms and of all subjects. Open until 6pm.

I have been to The National Gallery since i was a kid..and loved it every summer. The best thing was being able to attend a 2 week summer school at the Gallery twice. A very memorable place. :)

To be in the presence of the original artworks by absolute masters is breath taking.

There is some amazing art but I can only look at paintings of old white folk for so long.

Impressed with everything they have inside. Amazing place, spent hours in there, the cafeteria got nice but not incredible stuff and I can be very limited ... recommending going out and , Trafalgar Sq will treat you well...

Magical place where any imaginable art style can be found. The staff are pleasant and friendly and always on hand to help.
