Outstanding art gallery, all the classics and really good collection. Is Free admission, but be sure to leave a donation since it's worth a lot more that some paid art museums I have been in. Very nice layout and great space inside to admire the art.

I find a delight in not only observing the wonderful paintings in this museum, but to notice the admiring and pondering faces of young and old who enter this magnificent building.

I have been coming here for decades and it never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for that.

One of the biggest Art museums I've ever visited in my life, although some problems did arise while visiting, like not being able to find the artworks I was looking for even after following the instructions, asking a staff member and even checking the website.

Everything is TOP: the location (Trafalgar Square), the building, ..., and most of all the quality of the works of art.
I and my son enjoyed the visit very much. Several works are outstanding. We liked it that the works are put in a chronological order and in a respectfull way.

Huge gallery with a wide collection of paintings all the way from the renaissance to modern 19th century. We spent 3 hours there and still couldn't finish visiting the major pieces. Too sad I am not a local. Highly recommend the audio guide.

Possibly the best art gallery... In the world. Where do you start, this place has it all: Van Goghs, Cezannes, Constables, Picassos, and major works by them too, not the bits no one's seen. Fancy looking at the Sunflowers? They've got it. The Hay Wain? It's there. Waterlilies? Check. All well laid out and with great staff on hand. There are traditional tours and audio tours available. Oh, and did I mention IT'S FREE!

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. I visited this week with a 5 and a 2 year old grandchild. Getting in from the rain with a buggy was made very simple. Whenever I asked for directions to a particular painting every room warden seemed to know exactly how to find it and how best to get there with a buggy. The staff running the special children's activity were great despite it being so busy. The atmosphere generally was so welcoming. A great experience. Thank you.

The national gallery is truly an embodiment of the word national. It is truly national in the sense of its scope. I have been to the gallery many times. And each time the new exhibitions truly blow me away. They are honestly awe inspiring and amazing to sit there and wonder about all the things that have happened on this planet we inhabit.

This gallery has an amazing collection of art. Make sure you have half a day free here because there is a lot to see. It can be a little confusing since there are so many rooms at this place that go all over. This is a must see if you are visiting London!

Sensational! Ring up for information on exhibits or look online. You won't be disappointed, even if you spend hours canvassing the wonders within. This is highly recommended for any Londoner or traveller.

What a magnificent place! There are so many wonderful paintings here. They've got a lot of Matisse, Van Gogh, Monet, and Manet paintings, so if you're into any of those, you'll definitely enjoy your visit. We weren't able to see all their exhibits, but the ones we did see were great. If you're visiting during summer, you'll be happy to know that they keep the place nice and cool, too. A nice retreat during the heatwave. The shops also have a lot of art supplies, so if you end up feeling inspired by your visit, they have everything you need.

A museum it's definitely worth visiting, especially because it's free. Despite the big crowd coming in, we had no problem at all in visiting whatever we wanted to see and the staff was nice and fun when it came to explaining were specific pieces of art were.
