Omg!! The food was soo good!! And service was fast!! This was my first time here I had heard so much about them and I was not disappointed!!

It was ok, nothing special, the beef tips seemed like they were from a bag. Good mashed potatoes and biscuit. Large portions. The atmosphere was of a strip mall restaurant, though i heard the original Metro Diner is in another location and more like a diner.

Horrible experience. We waited 20 minutes after being seated and never were greeted by our server. We ended up walking out.

The avocado toast is the best but be prepared to wait.

Absolutely top notch! The service was phenomenal, the menu is a novelette of epicurean delight. Every dish servedntonour party of 5 far exceeded expectation. One of.my new favorite places to eat.

Everyone LOVED the fried chicken and all the trimmings that came with. employees were lined up outside our breakroom in anticipation of all the goodness. I loved Metro Diner but will not tolerate rudeness, especially from a manager. The cooking staff obviously could not be bothered to complete my online order. I asked the young lady to just refund my order and she stated she could not refund online orders. I asked to speak to the manager but Owen said he was too busy to help me. Its a shame what passes for customer service anymore. Buyer beware if you order take out as if its wrong or incomplete you will just have to deal with it. They just lost a customer over brown gravy.

Great food and great service. There's always a wait but it's worth it. Love to come here for brunch.

Wow! I love this place. But they popped up on my worst resturant reports. A couple times. This place is great. But looking at all of the poor ratings. I'm thinking twice. Such a shame.

Great fresh food, consistently prepared, cooked right. I feel menu is diverse with good selections of breakfast and lunch items. And they are very accommodating with your request.

Advice not to go the last hour before they close...food is not fresh

Always an adventure in n dining. If it's on the menu it's good. They have an authentic monte Cristo sandwich but don't order unless you're really hungry or have someone to share it with. The homemade potato chips are a great choice as well

Absolutely awesome food, and fast, friendly service even during the peak of lunch hour. The portions are very generous, so I recommend ordering a half order. Also a useful tip if your torn between two items! I will be back, and probably will even more once they open for dinner service!

I've only ever eaten here a total of three times but every single time the food is always amazing. Staff is incredibly friendly. I fell asleep at their booth after work and when I finally woke up they were so nice about it and making jokes with me. 10/10 this is how a restaurant should be run and the focus on customer service is absolutely incredible.

The food was excellent. I had the chicken and waffles. I was so good I took some home to my son.

Ordered waffle and turkey sausage, it was delicious. The wait time was only 20 minutes which is great, compared to 40 minutes on the weekends. I did have to ask for my strawberry butter which is suppose to come with the waffle. Other than that no other issues. Clean establishment. Affordable and good food.

Try to hit diners wherever I go around the country. This is one of the best by far! Chipped beef on toast was spectacular.

Even when its busy the service is great and the food is AMAZINGLY fresh!

Can t go wrong with this restaurant. If you re dining by yourself or if you re a party of two, I highly recommend sitting at the bar. It s really neat watching all the chefs cook the meals. I can tell that they all love their job.
They have an outdoor seating area that is covered, dogs are allowed in this area.
I recommend the eggs benedict

Been going to the Metro for years. Normally food is excellent but last 2 times I have been to this location, found it mediocre at best. Not used to that

Fantastic food, breakfast all day, you can never go wrong. The only drawback is everybody else knows the same thing. Expect a possible wait during peak lunch times, but long wait for weekend brunch times. Go early if you can.

Long wait ( 45 minutes) but so worth it. Once seated meals come out relatively fast. The Chicken and waffles were EXCELLENT, would have never knew mixing hotsauce and syrup would be so good. We also ordered the Huevos Racheros which was tasty as well!

We had an avocado veggie wrap and chicken pot pie. We both got stomach ache later probably from the sauce used in the wrap. Chicken pot pie looked ugly.

Always excellent! Best breakfast in town! Friendly staff, clean dining room , and outdoor dining is available. If you visit during peak hours, expect a wait that's worth your while.

The family and I went here for breakfast due to the favorable reviews we've read. We had to wait about ten minutes to be seated. The waitress was very nice and the food came out pretty quick. The portions are very big which is a plus but the food was good not great. This was a one time spot for us. Really a 3.5

There is something for everyone at this restaurant no matter what you're looking for and what your appetite. Great service great food great prices and my wife says there's not a bad thing on the menu. And she is right

Friendly and attentive staff make the dining experience here, a pleasure. I've neither a complaint nor any criticism for any element of the time I take my seat to when I depart, feeling satisfied. And if I should arrive and the waiting line extends beyond their entrance, the fault is mine for arriving too late; this venue has surely earned its popularity. Great location.

Metro Diner is a must have for our family. If you want large portions or breakfast in the afternoon Metro Diner will make that happen. The chicken parmesan special if you're lucky it's available and to die for. My wife enjoys the honey biscuit off the breakfast menu.

Hit and miss today was great had the breakfast pie. Really good

Took my family in and I had the Charleston Shrimp and Grits. All I can say is OUTSTANDING!!! Jasmine was our waitress and she was the best. She checked on us often and happily refilled our drinks and answered any questions we had. My family and I are from Seneca SC if this place was closer to me it would definitely be a regular stop for us. 5 Stars isn't enough.....

Hash browns were raw and uncooked but the waitress was fairly nice. Other than the hash browns the food was good!
