The London Hotel West Hollywood Review

The Hotel: Very elegant boutique hotel. Simple & modern furniture in the lobby. No big crowd or loud noise.

The only suggestion I would give them is to have sign/direction to the restaurants. We were wondering around the lobby..... :(

The Service: Staffs at the valet are very friendly & professional. They greet us with smile. Great first impression! There were 3 staffs at the front desk. While we were wondering around the lobby looking for the restaurant, too bad none of them approached us to see if we needed help.

What we were looking for and more!
Friendly staff, excellent rooms, fun pool and yummy breakfast.
Our only disappointment was that my girls (ages 11 + 14) wanted to see more of the dogs Winston + Churchill

The rooftop cafe was nice, the food was good and depending where you sit you have pretty views of the surrounding cities as the sun sets. The servings seemed small but we're actually very filling and very flavorful. They even came around and offered small blankets to wrap up in after the sun went down. The entrance to the hotel is a bit tricky to see, parking is by valet. After getting your ticket validated in the restaurant the fee $10 at the desk outside. Everyone we asked questions of as we had never been there were very friendly and helpful. Their more formal restaurant on the ground floor was closed but we may return to try it out.

The overall interior and exterior are just an amazing sight

The London is a very nice hotel with a great location in West Hollywood. The staff is professional and courteous. It has become our favorite hotel when we are in Los Angeles.

Beautiful hotel. From the Valet to the concierge- quality service. Above and beyond Valet. What a difference from a previous hotel I reviewed whose valet was rather mediocre. They are the hotels first impression, and let me tell you The Londons valets do the hotel justice! They make you feel so welcomed and are on it! The establishment is well kept and even their room service team is friendly and professional.

This is an Amazing hotel. Had friends staying here in the suit that is huge, classy, and made for a Queen or King.

The service was stellar. The parking was a bit slow to get the car. but Hotel was clean and everyone was friendly. We had a great time attending the West Hollywood Women's Networking Event.

Well appointed, clean, and modern rooms with lovely views of the city. A truly hidden gem in the bustle of LA. Would love to stay there again.

I visited the London West Hollywood Hotel for an after party. It was a classy, elegant experience from the moment you walk in the doors. The rooftop area was gorgeous with great views of the city. The catering staff did a great job setting the ambiance of the room and were both friendly and professional.

Food is good here. Theater is a bit flat. Haven't stayed here.

It's a nice hotel. I was recently there for a networking breakfast. The service was very good.

Went to a holiday party with some former coworkers. The hotel was nice, breakfast was excellent, and service was exemplary.

Great location, hidden gem in the West Hollywood hills. Incredible views from the rooftop decks and rooms. A treat to visit or stay. Boxwood restaurant is on point.

We can't remember what this hotel was before it was the London Hotel but it gets highest marks today from us for hosting the screening of Ozark and following visit with Maestro Jason Bateman. The screening room is excellent comfortable and intimate with great sound. A perfect way to see any kind of formatted programming. There was a little popcorn available and drinks if you needed them. They definitely go the extra mile for the screening and the comfortable seats and plush screening room really added to the intimacy and impact of Jason's visit - the best part of the whole experience.
Just a rare unjaded unadulterated simple honest visit from a celebrity actor and now filmmaker doing some of the most interesting and progressive material out there today. The perfect venue.

Rude entitled feeling staff with no respect. Do not stay here

Love this place but was disappointed this trip as the pool was closed and I didn't know it when I made reservations which I did direct . Also a long standing tradition was dropped , daily Newspapers are no longer available and are not even available for sale on the property . That really sucks s I have always enjoyed reading paper with morning coffee . Other than that a great location with some good people watching ........

Dinner was absolutely fantastic. Got the holiday we had a 3 course meal. There is a huge lounge in the restaurant as well which provides a good spot to relax before or after your dinner.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. From check-in to check-out everyone was lovely, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The gym was very well equipped and the heated rooftop pool was perfect for a sunrise swim before their free continental breakfast. The staff went out of their way to help us with a very early check-in and they also stored a rather expensive bottle of champagne for us in the staff refrigerator overnight without an issue. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice 4+ star hotel in the West Hollywood area.

The rooftop restaurant is great. Drinks are strong! The pool / cabanas are perfect to reserve for the day.

What an excellent hotel! The breakfast buffet was pretty absurd in its bounty and quality, and the room was spacious and pleasant. I also like how a vague Britishness permeates the grounds, but no one speaks with a British accent.

What I was hoping to experience... Nostalgia & beauty....

Pure luxury. From the moment I pulled up to the valet to the moment I left I was treated with courtesy and all creature comforts were looked after. I truly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a pampering experience.

BEWARE! Please think twice before you try to book an event with this place/these people. They do not honor their reservations. Last August I contacted Mandy Hanlon, the wedding and social event specialist for the hotel, we had a phone conversation and then a lengthy email exchange about booking a bridal shower on February 24th. She informed me that the Boxwood Restaurant would be going through a major renovation in November so visiting the site would be pointless since it would look different by the date of my event but she guaranteed me that they would be able to accommodate my party. I wasn't too concerned, as I had been to a tea there before, so I knew what to expect. I was also told that I could not book my event until it was 4 weeks out, but again I was assured, in writing, that a space would be available. Fast forward to last Thursday, I was 6 weeks away and invitations need to go out. I have hired an event planner to assist, so she reached out to Mandy only to be told they can no longer accommodate my event. No one has bothered to contact me in the last 5 months, nor has Mandy returned my call with any type of explanation. We have also sent an email to her supervisor, Douglas Hoagland, detailing our dismay and frustration (with the original commitment attached) as well as left him a voicemail. Needless to say, both have gone unanswered. I'm now being forced to start my planning over with no time to do so. It doesn't get any more unprofessional than this!!!

Great views from the rooftop, enjoyed some small plates and drinks for my anniversary and both me and my wife greatly enjoyed the sunset meal. One of the best rooftop spots in West LA.

Carpet in Suite 211 is so old and stained thats its simply disgusting. Staff unable to properly clean the room. Hairs and dirt all over. Front desk arrogant. Never again

The bartender was cool. He made me a cocktail like 20 minutes after last call.

Came here for a wedding. And the food was great! Had a wonderful time.

It was a wonderful event. I do wish, however, that we had had access to a few heat lamps, though...

As soon as you walk into the room you know its clean. Nicely decorated, huge bathroom with full size tub to soak in and a separate walk in shower. Fully stocked fridge and wet bar. Game table, sectional couch to relax on a dynamic view of the hills and surrounding area. Amazing

Th lobby is beautiful. Upon checking in there was trouble with the rate. Online my reservation was $414 a night. When I checked in, they tried to charge my card over $500 a night. If I had not taken a screenshot of the original price, they would have made me pay the higher rate. There is a schoolyard right outside each balcony. The kids playing outside woke us up at 7:30every morning. They played on and off all day. It was very loud. The hotel was clean and the room service was prompt, but very expensive. $6.00 for a glass of tea and $24 for quasidillas.

The London hotel in West Hollywood/ Beverly Hills is THE best place to stay while you're in LA. Beautiful, spacious suites, rooftop pool and seating with a view of LA... spectacular!

Fantastic hotel out of the city. The location is decent. But the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is absolutely luxurious. Facilities wise, the gym is well equipped and the roof top pool is a great place to chill and relax. Hotel staff were very helpful and the service was excellent. Breakfast menu lacked variety and got a little boring after 3 days.

Beautiful hotel - and the service was fantastic from start to finish. Really enjoyed my time here and highly recommend it to anyone. Food at the Boxwood was also really good; and the pool is really worth checking out!

Came for movie screening in the hotel's first floor theater which was pretty impressive. The valet staff was very friendly and fast considering the amount of cars they had to retrieve for the event.

She was supposed to meet here at the London so we can find some time to run one and talk about some things we could undo but she never came....

Tip top hotel just off Sunset. 3rd floor roof garden is fabulous.

Luxuriously appointed and clean rooms, good service, excellent good options

The housekeepers are a little sketchy. I had 2 incidents with staff in my room. The room was cleaned early in the morning, 5 hours had gone by and one of the housekeepers knocked on the door to re fill the cotton swabs as she forgot to . Firstly they didn t need re filling. Secondly pretty weird random thing to think about doing hours after the room was cleaned. I had plenty of valuables and money laying around.

Beautiful rooftop. Food seems a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is well worth a small premium.

Rooms are excellent. Location is also good. Parking charge is expensive. I wish they had lots more in breakfast buffet, but it is complimentary.
