Beautiful hotel great place for an event or to have drinks with friends

Went to watch a screening that was followed by a panel. The london itself was beautiful. Valet was quick to assist me in both parking and pickup. The theatre itself was small hit perfect for the event I attended.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Hollywood, I attended a movie screening there in a small theater located in the lobby. The staff were extremely professional and the event was fantastic. If there's another event there I'll definitely attend!

Beautiful, luxurious hotel that's not stuffy like other high end hotels in the area can be. Even their smallest rooms (all rooms are suites)are quite large and well decorated. Great furniture, i'd decorate my home like it in a second. Very pet friendly, they actually have a resident bull dog that sleeps at the front desk sometimes. The menu was different than the usual room service stuff, very refreshing, and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. I love this hotel, it's probably my favorite and I've stayed in 70% of the hotels in town including Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton. Huge thumbs up.

this hotel is worth every penny. they've obviously hired the best of the best to design the rooms. the suites are gorgeous. some amazing views from the terraces. excellent staff. beautiful people. could be completely intimidating it feels so rich. the fake bulldogs are a little creepy though. but I get it ... English bulldogs.

I was only there one night and I had a late check in, but I was treated very kindly and with consideration. The room was perfectly clean and very nice. The motel has a super cute funky vibe and the furnishings in my room were new. I ordered food from the restaurant and sat at the table outside of my room and enjoyed my dinner. Would like to come back and relax and stay a few more days. I would recommend staying here to my family and friends. Also, I highly recommend the plantains from the restaurant! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

I was cared for until I was able to care for myself. I know she has helped others also. Besides the care, it is beautiful in that the courtyard has beautiful plants and birds. Tables and chairs with pillows draw you to sit and enjoy some time. Inspirational sayings are painted on the walls. Candles are lit at dusk. Rooms are simple yet comfortable and clean, with quilts and decorations. There is a small table, with dishes and chairs. Rooms also have a microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee maker.

Swanky hotelier that works with its neighbors to remain in their good graces. Rooms are a bit pricey, but the service is impeccable.

I had my vacation somewhere here in our region a week ago. I was so lucky that I booked for a one night stay in this elegant and wonderful hotel.

Breakfast buffet here is extremely pricey and lacks any real food. Just some cold cuts, pastries and hard boiled eggs. But over $40 when you include everything. Yikes. Beautiful hotel though

At this price, the name and idea of the hotel, I would expect better than rusty sink, brown colored faucets, drapes and the rail were extremely old and poorly made. General overview is fine of the hotel, but small details I believe were unacceptable. Old furniture, musty smell and feel to the room.

View from the roof was excellent, and all of their personnel were friendly and professional

Showers leak all over the bathroom floor and people seem to smoke in their rooms (which then is sucked out in to the halls and inevitably in to your room). Other than that it's a great location and the staff couldn't be nicer.

This is by far is probably my favorite hotels in Los Angeles. Super beautiful, quiet, with a nice lounge and amazing service. Location wise it is one of the best locations in Hollywood.

Great hotel in the central Hollywood BLV. Huge rooms with king beds and very large sofas. Bathrooms with shower and bathtub. Panoramic swimming pool with bar on the top floor. Very equipped gym. Free Wifi. Paid parking too expensive. Very friendly and helpful staff

Generally, an excellent 5-star hotel with large rooms which are great for families, amazing pool area with great views over all of Los Angeles and to the Hollywood Hills, and a great "feel" to it. Valet, housekeeping, front desk, bellman and food quality all excellent. The only let down was SLOW (almost non-existent) service around the pool area, and a fairly grumpy and unhelpful concierge.

Miserable experience. They didn't have the room we booked. Put us in another room. Room was both filthy and smelly. Sleep sofa was completely unusable in the "suite", 5' long and made of used nails apparently. Booked for 4 nights, moved after 1.

Had dinner last night at the bar and was extremely impressed by not only the food but the service. Our bartender, Grafton, spent the entire time making sure that every one of our needs were met. He was personable and made the best old fashion I've had in quite some time. I'll definitely back again soon.

Terrific hotel. Great location. Our room was very nice, with a terrific deck as well. I would definitely recommend The London. Make sure you meet the dogs Winston and Churchill.

I didn't stay here but I did visit the Rooftop Bar. It's a slower scene than expected given the location but it's appears to cater more so to families. From what I understand they do not open up the top floor for in evening crowd. The view from the top is very impressive

I was there for a reception and screening, but didn't stay in the hotel or see any rooms. The seats in the screening room and very comfortable, and the screen is good sized, with good sound. They had tasty passed hors d'oeuvres at the reception, including delicious crab cakes. Valet service was incredibly fast and efficient in getting so many cars at once, since we all left about the same time. Very nice, refined setting for a screening!

Great hotel, good location. For people flying long haul (and leaving late in the day) not the easiest hotel to freshen up prior to departure. But rooms are great, location is super, and all in all I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Just wrapped a very fun weekend in West Hollywood and out stay at the London was superb. Great service all around and the best rooftop pool I've ever been to. Kansas and his team at the front desk were amazing hosts. Do it!

Front desk staff was unprofessional and did not offer any information about the hotel upon check in. They put me in a smoking room with a horrible odor and offered an orange spray when I called downstairs. The food,
pool, ambiance and bell boy Michael were fantastic but I will not be returning as a hotel guest due to the information mentioned above.

Great hotel and lovely amenities!! Ask for Darin at the front desk!! He was wonderful and gave us all of details on how to maximize our stay at the London! We look forward to staying with the London again!!

Short stay. Everything was great except the wait time for the elevators.

I've been to hotels all over the world. The parking fee is $ 46. It is the first place to receive amenity in the room with an additional $ 20 per night.

Very exceptional rooftop dining brunch experience. Exceptional menu and exceptional service. Fantastic panoramic views if the City. Quite private, quite intimate. Great for tourists, great for romance, great for an exceptional business meeting. Meant to impress. And lives up to its expectations in every way. Nothing can match this brunch for a special occassion or to treat yourself and significant other or visiting family. Or just go to get away above the fray and relax and enjoy the City from above at its finest in food and drink.

Lovely hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Loads of celebs popping in and out. Breakfast staff can't remember a food order though - just write it down! Valet parking is $40 a day, including overnight which for the area is extremely well priced. Food is amazing and the rooms are really nice.

Hands down the best hotel my partner & I have ever stayed at! We loved every part of the hotel - Our room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff exceeded our expectations. A special shout out to John from reception and Kevin & Benjamin from the Bar. A great central location to getting around LA. Have agreed we won t be staying anywhere else when we come back to LA

Beautiful rooms and attentive staff! We enjoyed a long weekend at The London with a very well appointed breakfast that was included in our stay, met the hotel mascots Winston and Churchill, enjoyed drinks at the bar and stunning sunsets from the rooftop pool all without leaving the property. We also enjoyed exploring WeHo and will be back! I mistakenly left two coats in the closet, called a few days later and the security staff sent them FedEx. Bloody brilliant!!!

A large group of us stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. The staff was very accommodating and attended to our party well. Spacious rooms, awesome roof deck pool w fantastic views of the hills and city.

This is the best hotel in LA! Love this place! Great location, great restaurants, and the staff is amazing! Rooms are big and well maintained, with each having a deck. My room had awesome views of downtown LA and the Hollywood Hills.

Arrived at around 7:30pm.and was warmly greeted by staff. The restaurant has a nice feel to it. Not breathtaking but a very nice setting no less. Service was slow, attentive staff but slow. Food was good not great. Overall the experience was good and I would return for dinner. But by no means a place anyone should rush to.

My home away from home. Full 5 stars. Amazing service. Amazing pool. Amazing location. Breakfast restaurant is a little too small so just ring ahead at busy hours, but otherwise you won't go wrong

This is the first hotel I stayed in LA 20 years ago. Owners have changed and renovations are taking place regularly, but the making is old.
The lobby, restaurant and rooftop bar are great. The rooms are quite large and the bathroom is one of the largest in the United States. The bathtub travels all over the world, but this hotel is the largest.
If the room is facing south, it overlooks the city of Los Angeles and the night view is wonderful. You can only see the residential area if you are facing north.
Walk from the hotel to the downtown area of West Hollywood. There are restaurants, bars and entertainment.
It is around 10 minutes by car to malls such as globe and Beverly Center. Car rental is convenient, but it is the distance where you can easily go by woober.
The amenities and breakfast are weak.

The live Jazz band on the Rooftop on Sundays for Brunch is a great touch!

The terrace is nothing special. Better to go to the sky bar of the Mondrian Hotel.

Great service and the food was delicious. Barman makes a fab French Martini! Great place for catching up with friends and had a lovely view. Would highly recommend

Chic hotel. Old schoolish Hollywood feel yet not stuck in past. Decent restaurant food. Included breakfast is solid especially the bagels. The work out facility is strangely located outside on the bottom floor. Once found though has most of the trendy equipment. Only goes to 50lbs on dumbbells and no leg machines. The pool is great. Good views, people watching, food, complementary sunscreen and water. Solid hotel. If you are part of the Fine Hotel Collection then you really get your money's worth.

We loved this hotel. The view from our Vista Suite was awesome while we enjoyed a cold beer on the patio. The drinks at the pool were well made and we liked the layout there. Breakfast was delicious and the service was good. The bed was also spectacular and you can t beat the location which is walking distance to The Comedy Store, Whiskey a Go-Go, Roxy, Viper Room, Mel s Diner etc etc
